In today's episode of: Allen constantly changes how shit works, I made the Collective Awakenings better.

What's unique is that they can use all these abilities at the same time as opposed to one at a time. The interesting aspect of Collective-Awakenings is that every collective has its own "mechanic" that dictates and shapes how the abstractions interact with each other. The mechanics vary from collective to collective, some collectives get more powerful abstractions when they're close to each other, one member may get a power boost each day, and in some cases, they can be forcibly combined into one person, etc. These mechanics seemingly are dictated by the relationships between the members of the Collective.

Also after talking with a friend, I added another ability for the NPC Kimberly to have.
@SassySalamander make her apart or affiliated with the Coven. I still think she might be better as an NPC but hey.
@SassySalamander I like the character, I really do, but I really don't see the point in accepting her if she's just, more or less, going to be a glorified NPC. Which is what I had problems with a few characters that were submitted over PM, they need to be associated with the Coven at the very least and not just wasting space on the character tab. I do like the idea of her though, but think she should just be an NPC.

"... I can't put into words, I'm a huge fan!"

"Oh, uh, thanks."

Kimberly stammered out as she walked away from the ice cream shop with her partner in crime: Rowan Campbell. She was wearing jean shorts that were a few inches away from being wildly inappropriate, a wheat-colored shirt-sleeved button-up, and brown boots - and some sunglasses to protect her from the hot Florida sun. How somebody would recognize her out here was a mystery! More of a mystery than the ones she solves. She took a quick lick out of her ice cream cone.

"I loved that episode where you fought the monster on the haunted bridge in Virginia... how do you get it to look so real?" The fan asked. She was a girl with bright curly hair, glasses, wearing tights, and a T-shirt with some band on it that Kimberly didn't recognize.

"Oh, I'm a special effect master," Kimberly said, "Been practicing that stuff all my life."

"But, you look so young," The fan said.

"... Well, my secret is that I have a team with me to make the show come to life!" Kimberly was quick to come up with a convincing answer. "They love the show like I do." She smiled widely.

"Can I get a picture with you?" The fan asked.

"Sure," Kimberly said, "Make sure you get in, Rowan." Her companion wearing a plain red T-shirt and jeans with combat boots got into the selfie and the two smiled. With Kimberly's smile being wide and she put the peace sign up while Rowan was merely half-smiling.

The fan pressed the camera button and she all giddy said, "I'm going to put this everywhere."

"Great, glad you appreciated it," Kimberly said. "I gotta be somewhere, so... I hope you have a great day!"

Kimberly and Rowan walked off from the fan.

"... You know people are catching on, right?"

"Yeah, I know..." Kimberly huffed as she shook her head. "People aren't stupid."

The two walked down the busy streets of Tampa. It was the middle of summer and people were vacationing and were more or less minding their business. Kimberly lapped up a bit of her ice cream as she saw the beachfront. It was beautiful here... Florida truly was a near-perfect Paradise. Unfortunately, they weren't here for pleasure... even though Kimberly wouldn't have minded it. They were here for business, some cold-hearted business. They approached the beach for some privacy, as they rented a beach towel and an umbrella. Roughly planting it into the ground as they got their protection from the sun.

Kimberly could watch the beach all day long... this was miles better than Farmer Hill. Though, she wondered how her abstraction hasn't changed yet. After some reflection, she realized that her own was rooted in how she felt boxed into Farmer Hill. Trapped even and desperately wanting the fastest way out - mixed with her life of photography of course. Now that she's escaped (not that there's much to escape from, the place is flattened) why hasn't her ability changed?

"So, uh, Kim," Rowan asked, prodding the question. "I know you're having fun relaxing, but what's the plan here?"

That was a question with no... simple answer if Kimberly had to tell the truth. They've been on this case for so long and they've been faced with some... grim realities. To tell the truth, she didn't know if there was a plan, but they had to find a way. She helped beat the Glutton, she'll bring a close to this.

"We should probably head up to New Port Richey soon as possible," Kimberly flatly spoke. "Then we follow the trail until it leads us to her."

"... Then what are we going to do when we find Annabelle?" Rowan said, "You know you can't beat her."

"I'll find a way."

"You keep saying that," Rowan chuckled. "Life always finds a way, yeah - but death will find a way this time."

"I want to help her, Rowan, I really do."

"But maybe she's too far gone."

"It's... the curse," Kimberly said, "If we break it, we can bring her back... besides, this is like the first time we're a step ahead of her!" Kimberly smiled.

"So, I think we'll go to the crime scenes-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Rowan cut her off there, "Love ya' and all, but that's not a good idea."

"Rooooowan, let me finish!" Kimberly admonished him, "We go to the old crime scenes and see where the Recollections take us."

"Sounds like a plan," Rowan paused for a second before he asked, "... And what about Saul?"

"Well..." Kimberly said as she played with her fingers for a second. "... We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Right now I think Annabelle is the main priority... I just really want to help her before she really crosses the threshold, y' know? The point of no return. I think if she snaps she'll kill a bunch of people."

"I hear ya'," Rowan answered. "... What about the others, y' know? The support group you told me about?"

Kimberly sighed, "Well... Penny, Zoey, Min, and Hagan are missing. Justin and Tuyen are chasing after another problem and I feel like it's not my place to ask them to help with my problem. I doubt we'd get help from Rita, Billy, Caelea or Rien... and even if we did they're all over the place. Besides, I think the two of us are more than capable." She said.

"And..." Rowan said, "What about that Coven you heard about?"

"Ehhhhhh," Kimberly shrugged. "Sure, let's give them a look in case they have something to do with Annabelle."
LIMITS ⫻ The claws that Ashley can create are three feet long and she can maintain them as long as her stamina allows it. She can cut through a wide variety of materials, except she has a harder time using her ability on harder to slice materials.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Ashley's claws are extra vulnerable to supernatural attacks and could break attacking an extra-Normal being if she isn't careful.

"I want to get pizza after this. Madison, Claudette you know anythin' about vampires? I know you two are pretty knowledgeable with this kind of stuff."

"I've seen things you wouldn't believe, girl," Madison said to Riley as she crossed her arms against the gate. "... Vampires are not one of them." She shrugged.

"Mine neither," Claudette said. "I know about spirits, but not... vampires? I'm no expert."

But, Madison couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Maya's comment. It did look really stupid. "And girl, please tell me you didn't walk here with that around your neck?" Another chuckle escaped her lips as she tried to hold it in.

"... Ahhhh, they may not be experts, but I am," They heard the ghostly voice of Babylon as Emily walked up - the Apparition floated at Emily's side. The girl was wearing black cargo shorts, black-combat boots, a tank top, sunglasses, and a particular facemask. She looked at Claudette and said,

"... Where's your disguise?" Emily interrupted.

"Oui, I have a plan, Reed," Claudette answered as Emily shook her head.

"The world of the extra-normal is the gateway to infinite power and infinite possibilities..." Babylon started as she rested her face against her fist. "An Adept could have cursed these poor souls to be like vampires, they could have made a pact with an Apparition for power in exchange for blood, or... they could just be a bunch of imitators pretending to be vampires."

Babylon lets the words hang in the air.

"My point is," Babylon started, "Each of those options would give different abilities, and you all should be prepared for anything. Tata."

Babylon disappeared.

"Hey! Zoey, now's not the time for this. Besides, she's immune to the cold anyway. Let's just drop this and move for now."
Elron

“And Zoey, supercop is right. Cool it. We’re all friends here.”
Penny

With a sigh, Zoey simply took a step back and put her hands into her pockets as her sigil turned off. She shook her head as she gave Odessa a narrow-eyed look. She knew what was a lost cause and... she knew when to back down. That knowing look went over her head but she still didn't trust Odessa. Not one bit. And she knew this wasn't over, this chick was going to cross the line. "... She's not Elsa," Zoey muttered to Elron.

Zoey shivered as her teeth were chattering. She rubbed her hands together before realizing it was freezing. The snow was falling at a rapid rate and Zoey, unfortunately, had nothing to do with it. She just wished that she could, at the very least, cut off the snow. It was starting to pile on her genuine leather jacket (because only scrubs wear faux-leather) and Zoey's snowflake began to glow as she launched it off of herself. Just to get some semblance of warmth.

Because hey,

Anything's better than nothing.

Zoey was jealous of Odessa who was just... tanking the cold like it was nothing. Whenever the snow hit her, it just melted. What the fuck? Okay, she was extra-normal or something. Because nobody just stands out here in the fucking cold wearing nothing but a tank top and booty shorts.

“So, friendo, you seem to have done your fair share of research when it comes to spooky shit. Any guess as to why our old town’s makeout point has suddenly forced itself upon us?”
Penny

Before Odessa even acknowledged Penny, she went over to Zoey and got uncomfortably close. Zoey put her hands up as she took steps back because she didn't like where this was going. However, Odessa's body heat went up like she was a radiator, and Zoey couldn't help but get closer. It was the only heat she was going to get - because at this rate she was probably going to die or something.

"You looked cold," Odessa said with a smile. "Your welcome."

"T-thank you?" Zoey said, "I thought you were going to make this real awkward."

Odessa turned to Penny and stood there silent for a few seconds as she tried to come up with the best way to phrase her theory. "I honestly can't tell you for sure, at least not until we probe a bit more." Odessa said, "However, I have a few theories... this place could be a dreamscape of some sort and it manifests places important to the people inside of it. Which could mean we're all dreaming."

"... Which is why it looked like you were going to kiss me there?" Zoey chimed in and only elicited an eye-roll. "Its a dream, so why give a fuck?"

"Keep tempting me and maybe I will," Odessa said with a smile before she continued. "The other possibility is that we're in a... Fluid alternate dimension. I'm not sure how acquainted you all are, but there are dozens of worlds out there and each of them... stranger than the last. Some universes constantly shift and build itself around the people in it. Which would explain the... Apparition. Is this place important to you by chance?"

"Well..." Zoey trailed off as she rubbed her hands together. "... I'll give you two guesses - but either we're dreamin' or trapped in a hellish alternate world," Zoey said with a roll of her eyes.

"Geeeeeeee, that's great. Any idea on how we can get the fuck out of here? I've had enough spooky shit to last a lifetime."

"I'm sure you did," Odessa said, "But, I'm going with the theory of us being stuck in an alternate world... any of you by chance have an abstraction capable of dimensional travel?"

"I know a gal," Zoey rubbed her hands together, "Unfortunately, she ain't here and I doubt we can call her."
The new central theme is cucking.

'Wait...' She began in the silence of her own thoughts. 'Vampires are fucking REAL?'
Molly

"Wellllllllll...." Madison dragged out the last letter of that word as she leaned back in her chair and threw her arms behind her head. Unintentionally jutting out her chest as she looked around the room. "There are two girls with ghosts attached to them, someone's a fire-bender, there's like six harry-potter ass wizards, and me, someone who gets their power from the ghosts of dinosaurs or something."

She was hoping that her point was clear enough, but Molly seemed a little... slow on the draw. Which was okay. "... I don't think vampires are stretching it." She said it with a chuckle to make it clear that she was playing-

That was when darkness blanketed the room and Claudette made her intentions very clear. Which was good that they had somebody else to try to keep order. The room went back to normal and Madison sighed as she put her arms down.

"Let me be extremely clear, we are not going to be killing anyone. I still plan on selling to these idiots. We're breaking bones and blowing homes- I'm not looking for murder charges. If I find out one of you cant keep a lid on it and kills someone... and that trails back to me, then I'll kill you myself."
Kayla

Fortunately, Kayla had so sense, too. She made it clear that killing was not allowed under no circumstance, but Madison had to sigh at the sad reality of it. "... You shouldn't even have to say that." And left it at that. If anyone tries to kill somebody Madison was going to stop them. It wasn't going to even come to that.

"What?" Babylon said all cheekily. "It'd be... self-defense." She chuckled before she disappeared.

"Then don't come." Kayla said evenly. "I want you there, but if you aren't going to help, then don't show up. The less witnesses, the better."
Kayla

"And you're gonna wish you hadn't said that when I'm pulling your ass out the fire," Madison cheekily said as she placed her elbow on the table and propped up her head with it. Of course, Kayla didn't mean it; Madison was the most powerful motherfucker here! Or at least, that's what she thinks. "I think I gotta come because you had to say that."

"Alright then, uh...I guess that should conclude today's meeting. To anyone who doesn't want to participate, we can either get this place cleaned up or head down to the beach, if you guys want. Either way, rest of the day is yours."

"... Just give up," Emily said to Agatha, flicking some hair out of her face. It was truly pathetic... Agatha couldn't even give the group something to even talk about. She was completely overtaken by that degenerate Kayla... and it was sad that the group seemed more excited to commit crime. It made Emily smile widely, ear-to-ear as she looked at Agatha. "They don't care... nor can you make them."

"Today." Kayla stated. "I deal to them today every week. Meet me in South Tampa in a place called Greenwood in two hours. It's a mobile home neighborhood. Park a few minutes walk away. Bring a bandana or a mask if you have one."
Kayla

"How about we don't do this in broa-"

Madison tried to voice her complaint, but Kayla was already out the door... and Madison realized that getting through to that girl was a waste of her time. Madison sighed.

"Hell yeah Kayla! I read you loud and clear! I'll meet you there. Anyone need a ride? My car can hold five. You'll be with me while I suit up, so you'll be able to get stuff you need too."

And this reminded Madison that nobody was going to touch her car. It was selfish, but Madison just got the bitch detailed. "I at least want to take a shower before I get into a fight," Madison said as she took flight and flew out the door. "I'm out."

"Right behind you, Mademoiselle!" Claudette said as she walked out behind Madison in a hurry.

Emily sighed as she got up and slowly walked out. Nobody was gonna use her car, or her help - they can do it their damn selves, they're adults.

Two hours later... The Greenwood Estates

Ahhhh the smell of white trash and trailer park. Madison thought that she had ventured north again but this was all in Tampa. So, she was not too far away from the place at their meeting spot... and Madison was the first person there. Now, the last thing Madison wanted to do was hang around a trailer park full of a bunch of rednecks by herself but she at least had Claudette with her.

"How do you think this will go?" Claudette asked.

"Badly." Madison answered, "At least I know I'll be able to keep people safe."

She said as she played candy crush on her cellphone... and it wasn't long before more people showed up. Which was weird.

Usually when they meet up only a few people show.
