That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

I will be pushing things on in the next couple of days if Echo doesn't post.

Alright Sep.

I did see it, just haven't have time to respond to it.

I wasn't sure hence why I quoted it again to be sure.
No problem Mika, take care. After some of the stuff you told me on Skype, I hope things turn alright and keep me informed. Also, just because you have wings doesn't mean you're an angel.

Well, what now? Who else is getting in on this game or shall we move onto another?

Also, since we've got the Madhatter ad Cheshire Cat... we need the caterpillar.

<Snipped quote>

I think, in a slight way where a person is born and their loyalties might affect how they are treated in the other nations which is a type of racism. Most cause there's so many different types of humans that from my understanding, like in Kalesia, skin color is less of an issue compared to where you come from or what you practice. That if that was an important thing, then it could limit pictures used for PCS in my opinion as well as ideas. Though I can't image any of the nations naturally looking at everyone in a pleasant light. The closest would likely be Kalesia, though if someone's lazy and gains without earning anything by themselves than I can see most Kalesians frowning and becoming prejudice towards individuals rather than the whole. This makes it a changeable factor in some ways if the PC chooses to.

<Snipped quote>

I doubt it really as Evokers, unless their change is like Angie's where it occurs over time, look like any common human. That's why Idris has so much trouble seeking out and eliminating them, else it would've been impossible for anyone to hide from them. Though some nations might jump to the conclusion that s/he is an Evoker due to the circumstances which is common on our own history really.

<Snipped quote>

You'll have to tell the Gms, namely to help with balancing and such. Though that also makes it harder for anyone to help you completely with ideas and such unless you let them in on the secret, namely as it's easier to keep smaller secrets like hidden connections, relations, etc than powers.

I wouldn't mind a Werewolf, as I find mimic being a serious form of flattery as someone liked what I did and chose to put their own twist on it, though that would've made 3 already. Variety is the spice of life really though currently if this keeps up, we're likely to have a wolf pack on our hands. XD

<Snipped quote>

My advice, finish Luitguard and rp with her for a while rather than making a half a dozen PCs. Mainly we don't want you to risk getting overwhelmed with characters or worse, should RL creep up on you and life becomes busy than you might end holding up others without meaning to. I know cause I've seen and had it happen to me before. :p Though you could still write out the ideas, have the Gms look them over, and slowly intro them into the rp as time goes on like a side project.

<Snipped quote by Ellri>

I can see that being possible, save the clockwork bit, else it would be more like Steampunk rather than fantasy medieval. Mainly I think it would take less energy to focus on 'animating' something small instead of creating a golem completely from scratch and give you some wiggle room. Though it shouldn't be of sentient intelligence but rather requiring commands, simple ones that are about 4 words max.

I suggest starting off with something small, taking less power to recharge, and could be 'turned off and on'. Maybe a small doll or ball could've been the Relic and could be animated as well used as the combative/defensive weapon? A ball might seem harmless, but having something whizzing among your feet, trying to trip you, smacking you in the shins, etc is very distracting when you're trying to catch/kill Evokers. As time goes on, the ball/toy could possibly gain new skills like maybe transforming into more offensive form though keep in mind the more drastic, the more energy needed for it. I would guess something along the lines of size changing into a crushing boulder like thing would take quite a bit of fuel compared to developing wooden spikes on the surface at will.

<Snipped quote by Teknonick>

Roan's claws can cut through basic armor so he could easily rip out its heart in a way. If heated and cooled rapidly it would also weaken the integrity of the metal depending on what it is and making it easier to damage it. However, for normal NPCs who aren't equipped to dealing with Evokers, or Evokers without any established abilities to combat it, it would impossible to beat unless they killed the Evoker.

<Snipped quote by Teknonick>

There's jewels and gems, which are classed as crystals in a way. In addition there could've been an Evoker who created a crystal material which could've saved your PC time and energy, but I still think the small animated object would've worked best. In addition shaping the golems would take massive energy as Ellri pointed out, both in creating, animating, and retaining its 'life'.

That's just my thoughts but might want to check with Ellri if it's possible though before having your heart set on it. Also, Ellri don't eat me. :P

We kinda forgot to cover the racism bit yesterday... Racism isn't all that much of a problem, thats more of a newer issue. For the most part, those who have any racial differences tend to reside in the same places, and as such that issue is generally replaced by nationalism and cultural bias. (rather than black hate white, you have Kalnachi hating Kalesians)

We're going to agree with @Fallen on the bit about finishing one PC and playing with that for a while before crafting a full cast of others.

Not sure if you saw this but from your last comment, it seems like you didn't...
Helen raises a good point. We can't go to her clinic - where does everyone withdraw to?

Already talked about that with Myke, which was during the pointed ear conversation.

Drake's mansion perhaps. Something I'll suggest when I post next

Actually... If Harvey could make some assumptions about the Inquisition, he might know a good hide out.

Alright, here's a wild suggestion?

Alan could suggest Drake's, but doesn't know a discreet way to get there or maybe where he's at the moment? There was a lot of chaos, fighting and smoke which could easily get them separated. So while Kuro, Alan, and one other seek out Drake (aka, small mini mission), Harvey could suggest a temporary hiding spot so Helen could do a quick patch of Eli and Pierce while also getting some information/interaction? Kills two birds with one stone really.

For the most part, there's a plot progression reason we all need to end up at Drake's as well as the fact Rtron wants to blow up an airship, which I rather it not be Adonai's. It would destroy both PCs and a total waste of resources for the rp much later. Suggesting another place completely would defeat the purpose and extend the prologue Myke likely originally crafted, something that probably has gone on for much longer then he expected it to. Mostly it would be just be an extra step to me and in order to move, might risk repeating the get in fight, move, rest and recoup scene more than I think should happen. If the whole party is nothing but paranoid wounded, it's going to be rather hard to do an adventure in that state... Helen's a doc, not a miracle worker folks.

Does this work alright for everyone?

Indeed, lol. And I'm sure Lyn gave the Ethers cause Alaira was totally exhausted when the bridge went out and Lyn dug into her pocket to see if it was because of Blood Sickness. Though I'm double checking now.

Add on, I stand corrected. You're right Lucius, I couldn't find anything stating it though Ssarak does knows she has them. I think it's up to Elite if it's in Ssarak character to take them from as I know Lyn's got no use for them.
I don't think Lyn ever gave anyone the Ethers. Nor has anyone really bothered to look, so I'm sure that Lyn still has them.

As for the lighting I suppose I'm fine with that, it's just that if you don't take out the guards up top stealthily the robed man in the ravine would let the feral ghouls out of their cages. They are too sensitive to sunlight so they won't leave the ravine, but they have no problems detecting enemies in the dark. Though with the amount of light that Alaira can emit, she'd at best be able to see about five or so feet in front of her before the darkness consumes the rest of the light. Though if she's willing to try it, she could also create a flash of light strong enough to illuminate the room for a few seconds, which would definitely be enough to stun the ghouls (Light sensitive and all that).

If she still has a battery or so left, then it shouldn't be a problem as drawing it and manipulating it inside herself is in a novice's ability.
It's a little bit before high noon. You spent most of the early morning traveling (Let's say sixish to ten?), spent an hour searching, and now it's about eleven in the morning. So yeah, still daylight. The ravine entrance however is entirely voided of light. The light from the entrance is hardly enough to illuminate the underground area. Makes sense, giving what lives down there.

<Snipped quote by Freeshooter92>

Unless she can rely solely on scent or hearing in a small enclosed underground area, your visibility is next to none if you don't bring your own lightsource.

Actually... Since I think everyone's full/high novice I think Alaira should be able to do the underlined bit:

Novice~
Charging Energies is most dominated here. Novices can easily tap into their own energy source and manipulate it with some effort and focus. They can light a spark on their fingers and hold charge for several minutes, anything that touches them is instantly shock with the voltage that a single Taser hit has before charge dies after one used. It requires another charge build up afterwards and after several, a novice will be left exhausted. They can send a small current, for a brief moment, through a metal weapon or item usually strong enough to cause the enemy to drop it or become temporarily immobilized. EIS can be also be used, for a few minutes, out to about 2 feet radius from user. Small light can be illuminating only a small area from their hand when held.

Which could help her some. ESI is like an energy version of Sonar, look up platypuses and 6th sense, that will allow her to 'see' things as they pull close so she can avoid them. She doesn't even have to have her eyes open to use it. Also, she can create a light if that would be easier for you. Though using both at the same time isn't the best and will drain her mageblood faster, so use ESI to get close and switch over to the light is the best tactic. It would likely also allow Alaira to get closer without being nailed by any attacks until she's ready.

And, who has those Ethers Lucilia gave Lyn? I don't think the kid has them anymore as she gave them to someone, but I can't recall whom.

Also, Roc mission ppl, get your booties into place for the Roc fun.
Ingis and Helen

Helen heard Alan speak, but ignored it for Eli's answer as she narrowed on the man. It didn't mean she wasn't aware of the two children and their where abouts, her mind trained to look after her patients including the more stubborn ones. She didn't even dare to look at Eli's wounds, pretending for the moment they were superficial, still trying to stand toe to toe with him. Before Eli could answer, another male voice came out from behind her and nearly caused her to bounce right out of her skin. Her head whipped about and shot him an accusing glare when he spoke.

“Then what business or good would it have done him to bring it out in the first place? A spirit could've been much better for obvious reason, not that he didn't already have one out.” Helen stated plainly, recalling Eli had saved her from being impaled and showed he wasn't incapable of bring one or several forth.

It was a matter that nudged something at her mind back, shortly ignored for the fight's sake. She noted the man's direction draw closed while her neck hairs stood on end, her instinct screaming to put distance between them, and whispered to her. Her teeth gritted in resistance and clearly wanted to remain pissed at him, her eyes intensify at the thought about letting her emotion release into calmer waters. Breathing softer, barely, she pulled back slightly and no longer bore down on the larger man.

“I take it you've never been to the Wetlands?” Helen asked, answering her own question, and continued with a slight gruff and much quieter tone. “Both children have the trait and it's only uncommon, but not impossible or bizarre. It's just a birth defect from what I recall in my studies. Some doctors believe it's due to Wetlander's inherent affinity to summoning and also claims it might also explain the bright eyes. However many northern Varisie and those within the City-states have common features of blue eyes and blonde hair so I doubt anyone has even given these child a second glance. However moving them too quickly will likely draw attention and the matter is the boy was shot. There's current people at my clinic so taking them there wouldn't be advisable and we'll need somewhere else.”

Ignis, keep an eye on this bugger behind me. And is there any hidden surprises?

Ignis heard someone arguing with Helen as he was inside Pierce examining his wound, though he paid them little mind. Helen could handle the arguing and complaining of others; his job was just to deal with the boy. Fortunately, it wasn't too difficult of a task, as the wound was on one of his limbs, far from any vital organs .He could feel the warmth of the blood flowing from the broken blood vessels around the wound, which guided him to the damaged area. He moved his sight to the shoulder, using the light shining in from the outside to gleam the details from within. Several veins and many capilaries had been snapped in two, but the bullet at missed the bone and the ligaments. Mostly, it had simply damaged the tricep. He wouldn't call any bullet wound trivial, but it wouldn't cause lasting damage. The blood was still flowing out from the vessels and onto the muscle, and Ignis debated for a moment on whether or not he should cauterize it, but he decided against it. Doing so would just cause extra pain for no reason; it wasn't as if he was going to bleed out from the wound.

Since Ignis had felt nothing else of interest by the time Helen called on him, he decided to call his examination complete. The boy did not seem too alert, so Ignis didn't bother to hide himself as he emerged from the boy's body and floated beside him. "Nope, nothing more than the usual potentially fatal dangers, like infection. As long as that doesn't happen, he'll get away from this with nothing but maybe a cool scar and a story. Now, you want me to watch the wierd guy behind you? Can do." He answered.

Ignis brought himself down to stand on all fours, then walked around Helen and looked up at the man with what could be described as curiosity. His demeanor looked something like a dog investigating a new person. Why he decided to act this way, even Ignis didn't know, but he figured he would distract him from annoying Helen.
I assumed all of the guards were taking part in the attack on the bandits. I suppose we'll have to ask him.

I just need to know who's watching Lyn was all as I'm sure no one will want to involve her in this. Namely as Free mentioned that was something that hurt Alaira a lot in the last battle.
I suppose we can discuss it here. Konan, Free, Ryo, do you have any suggestions? Waiting would reduce the numbers, but we only have so long before the Caravan Master goes off and commits suicide. Currently, it seems like most of the enemy are drunk, which could play in our favor. Finding a way to seize that opportunity might be best.

I thought Ryo had left Mei with Lyn? Or was she left else where and I wasn't told about it? >_>
