RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

Lyn

Lyn listened, hearing Mei’s description and slowly let her imagination run rampant. Birds, cows, and several other creatures cropped up in her head where they swirled around in a blender, twisting in bizarre creations. Some were mixed match creatures. Like cows with eight legs to bird like wings or horses with beaks, and even birds with compound eyes. Others looked like the physical representations of their names such as horseflies, dogfish, and more. The pure silliness in her head was enough to make Lyn giggle out loud, her hand raised to stifle it, as the mood was undisturbed by her guardian's rudeness.

When they arrived at the carousel, her eyes scrunched up in question. At finally seeing the thing her uncle was excited about and she then peered down in question at him. Mainly her eyes were asking if that thing still worked at all. Despite the paint job and repaired parts, it still looked like there was already several years under its belt.

To add to her growing anxiety, Lyn noticed it was mostly children who was riding and without being accompanied by adults. The seats were gradually emptied to release the prior riders and they followed the workers, mostly human leading them toward an exit. Meanwhile new customers were bring led to the various mounts then carefully instructed to sit down, hold on tightly and remain still. There didn’t appear to be any sort of harnesses unlike the saddles and other safety measures many of the teachers made when they let her ride the many animals.

Tyrael didn’t seem to notice her glance. Instead, he picked her up and placed her down, allowing her feet to find purchase upon the firm ground behind. She was literally placed behind the earlier female. It was the very one who had made an impatient comment and was still likely tapping her foot, wanting to get onto the ride herself. Ignoring the woman for a moment, Lyn peered around her to watch Tyrael’s larger figure move through the collection of individuals. He easily parted the crowds in the line who spotted him and gave him wide berth, thanks to his appearance. It likely looked like he was cutting in line to most.

Lyn shook her head not fully understanding everyone’s fear of her god father.

Unable to hear his conversation, her head turned to introduce herself to the woman. Though she promised Leith, as well as the others, she would speak physically, the idea of looking strange in front of a possible new friend was not something she wanted. Not to mention her struggling to make sounds and noises could be seen as rude. So, the child let her rune do the talking.

The friendly, childish voice broke out across the air toward the half elf and human. Lyn’s left hand clasped her rune while her free hand raised outward in greeting like she had seen numerous people do in the past. To the woman, Lyn almost looked identical to a normal, healthy human six year old. In reality, her mental state was more around seven or nine, though her eyes also gave away her origins. The pupils were thin and curved down, much like a snake's. Despite the reaction she might gain, Lyn tried to be nice as she could when she spoke. ’Hello. My name is Lyn, you waiting for carousel too?’

Before the older woman could answer, movement caused Lyn attention and shifted her head to identify it. It was a Naersan human of slight paleness wearing a dark, green tunic and buck breeches heading their direction. The newcomer’s boots clipped along the college’s cobblestone grounds, her three swords wiggled at her hips, as something seemed off to the child. Her serpent like tongue flickered from her lips to catch the scent and wrinkled her nose abruptly. It was human...yet, something was off. Something she couldn’t quite understand and out of her past experience. It perked her curiosity enough to make her stare then follow where the woman walked to, unsure if it was polite to call her over or wait.
@Fallenreaper Oh I'm sure a Homeless shelter would be a great place for someone with an Alien Virus that grants dangerous powers. It is an Alien Virus right? Having trouble remembering. Anyways as long as the inhabitants of said shelter don't end up plastered to the walls in some sticky webbing or cocoon I'm sure it will be fine.

Hahaa, yes it is currently. And it's sterile btw which means even when it officially bond with a host, it won't reproduce and spread the next 'generation' around to others. At least...not yet. >:}

Though it isn't her as to the reason it wouldn't be safe. Since the riots, several homeless meta humans have been mysteriously vanishing over the following days. In abnormal numbers and locations, compared to past records. And despite her powers being caused by a virus, she could be mistaken for a meta human easily at first.
@Fallenreaper Good thing I'm not the only one with a whole lot of setup going on. Anyways next post should put Eva into the action, or at least in Lost Haven. Also surprised no one mentioned Nick in my last post yet. And here I was wondering if anyone would catch on to him.

I also have multiple plans, ideas, and ways to work things into a story. Despite me plotting it out, it never ever turns out the way I expect or want which is fun. Though it also helps I have general goals and as long as the goal effects are met, in even the slightest way, the plot easily continues. This allows multiple people to toss in their piece and talents into the gears without fear they will shatter it.

Mostly, my plan is to end the collab and bring the pcs to present day. Though, sadly, Rach and Justine are out of a place to live since the apartment blew up. XD I just sort of have to figure out where they will be staying, which Rach's been in that situation before and can easily adapt to homeless shelters which isn't very...safe anymore.
Nothing but set up in my post, the observant may be seeing somethings come together oh and nothing is as it seems. Ho ho ho everyone. Eva only has like one line.

Hopefully, within the next 2 days, Tearstone and myself will be brought up to the present timeline. Currently we're trying to brain storm over options and one actually ended up using Midas Industries (@nitemare shape), or their facilities, to help her meld with the virus. Mainly, as from what I recall, they have their fingers in a bit of everything. Either way, no matter what I do Rach will survive... just who she is connected to will affect her activity a few days later.

Example, Rach goes to a GeneCorp clinic. This will alert the medical staff there's a bio-hazard and immediately go into lock down while treating her with higher tech medical machines, think a bit of Sci-Fi since some of their designs are from alien technologies. Red flags will go up in their systems after blood samples are taken, gaining unwanted attention and the mundane staff trying to confine her until Gene Corp authorities arrive. They will take Rach to a secure facility where she will be become their own private lab rat for a few days. After all, she is the first and only known survivor of the virus they were studying in the black projects branch.

Alright, final edition of my CS waiting for the third vote of @Rtron, @Lucius Cypher and @Fallenreaper have given me the greenlight. Feel free to scold me for lack of detail on Snow Elves.

Alright, currently Rtron's having net issues due to rain taking out his net but he says the racial traits have the green light. And since you have 2/3 GMs, you can put your CS into the proper section.

@Demonic Angel

Go ahead and post your CS in the section as well and get in there.
Raa

Raa’s face buried into the asari’s smoother, grimy skin. It was smeared with blood, dirt, and worse since their last fight. The woman struggling to breath against Raa’s additional weight as she held her close, trying to comfort the crumbling Quarian. Her lids squeezed close while she bit back the sobs edging into her throat, her heart growing with grief and fear. It tried to crawl up her windpipe, not caring of her own desires, and escape through her lips in muffled whimpers she bit back. Tears had started to trickle down her cheeks where they damped the purplish toned flesh, her body shaken with the undeniable proof they might not escape this nightmare after all.

She wasn’t as strong as Voira. Never was and she knew deep down, hated it even.
It was painful to acknowledge she was a burden, a weakling, without combative skills or traits able to be used in extreme gunfights and life or death situations. If anything she almost gotten her friends killed several times over and still, Voira still put her life on the line for her.

Anymore negative was erased when Raa spotted movement out of her peripheral vision. She tilted back and raised her head, noting the human holding out a bar of chocolate. She blinked, her hand raised to wipe away dampness, then her face cracked into a warmer smile. “Thank you, and Voira needs medical attention. Can you bring the first aid kit or ask the Turian medic to look her over.”

Her hand raised to check the Asari’s temperature, then the heart rate at her wrist. “As for me, just bring some blankets, fluid and show me a place I can lay down so I can wait this out. Better to get ready to adjust to another place rather than suck down all our medical supplies just to keep running.”

After briefly checking Voira, she raised a hand to take the chocolate and shifted to adjust her front. Her fingers slowly unwrapped the tin, the aroma filling her exposed nose. Immediately she was reminded of a tale by her father about her people when their immune systems were so dangerously weak, even the action she was committing use to fatal to them. It was thanks to the Geth her generation had the luxury to walk around a planet without being restricted to their suits all the time.

Before Raa took a bit, she continued to speak. “Funny really. To think what I’m currently doing, with my helmet off and destroyed, would’ve been fatal to Quarians like my grandfather Pai’Seef’s generation. If we hadn’t evolve since the Reaper Wars then I would worse than just sick right now. And no amount of immuno-boosters could save me, pretty lucky uh?”

She broke a small chunk off, missing the dividing line and instead cracked a jagged one across another small section. It made it much better than the designed proportion was suppose to be but she didn’t care. She easily popped it into her mouth then sucked on the rich favor. Pushing to her check side, she continued as politely as she could without showing her food. “At least the tensions have died out. With any luck, and hope, we’ll arrive on planet and be back to our normal lives. Through it’s frightening to see the damage caused and lives loss.”

At mentioning death, her body leaned forward to spy Tacticus concentrating on unwrapping his own chocolate. His eyes squinted, mandibles wiggled in little movements, and fingers scratched away at the fragile foil. When he finally started to bite down on it, his beak breaking it down, he shifted to another cabal’s bench then swatted her arm for her attention. Through Raa couldn’t hear the conversation, it was a nice sensation filling her up to see the Turian who so upset and angry trying to heal.
Btw, @Lucius Cypher feel free to sick the diplomats on Ovak with Leith present hahaa.
Ovak

”Ah, well I could be getting my train of thoughts crossed. Not many are able to tell the difference after all and few live to make that mistake again. Their magic is rather old and derived from a source best left alone in the end.” Ovak stated simply, his words paused to bring his tea to his lips again. The steam wafting up and into his nostrils. A minty scent lingering in his memory for a few moments.

He thought for a moment, his fingers tightened as something passed through his mind. The archmage inhaled a moment then let out the breath in a bitter sigh. Avoiding it was impossible but he hated having his peace taken away by the collecting mob, his eyes shifted to the pair with a slight apologetic look. However, he refused to send them away. If they left on their own was another matter and fully understandable.

Slowly, Ovak leaned into Leith’s side then whispered. ”Brace yourself, we might become rather popular here shortly. If you want to run, I don’t blame you. Just wish I could follow.”

The words barely finished, the diplomats drew close like vultures waiting to pick a carcass clean when the lions were done.
