Mass Effect: Borealis

An idea occurred to me where the crew stop off on somewhere like Tuchanka or whatever for a little side mission and wind up getting sidetracked when a pyjak steals something essential and they have to try and catch it.

And yes, still alive - though I feel like shit at the moment. Slept from 6PM-1AM. I'll wait on another Rtron post before responding again.

I think you underestimate how long each page of IC is. Between my three word documents for my characters, I almost have 300 pages in Micorsoft Word (single spaced with an additional space between paragraphs).

I think the 3 GMs were intending, from the sound of it, on going into S2 at some point. At least that's the sensation I got from when they mentioned a while back about starting another thread for it. So at some point, S2 was about to happen and they chose after the incident with raptorman to do it. Allowing us to move with a fresh start.

In addition, we have about 3-4 players holding off on their PCs entrance because they assume there's going to be a new thread as the GMS, and some of us players already felt it was good idea. Unlike Blood Act, which is actually divided into 3 segments storywise, CAH doesn't have strict or predetermined places to cut off so this thread could technically go on forever without ever having to change into 'S2'.

I, personally (not sure about others), feel going into S2 makes introducing and adding cities like NY and Grant as bigger elements in the world easier since they are mentioned at the start. I'm even going to ask the GMs if I can help with the OP editing and addition of playable cities being listed there so players know their options. Namely as I know a few of us are going to fleshing out and playing in NYC, while I'm keeping Rach in Lost Haven so I can have multiple things I'm involve with. The New Season starts a few months after the current arc which likely means nothing extreme will be happening between the PCs as the cities are recovering from the Pax Arc results with new metahumans population levels. I'm sure NYC will be full of issues, and corrupted order to fix things since then.

Barron is actually one of my most fleshed out characters, behavioral wise. Took me a while but I think I really got his egotism and brutal nature to really shine. I've even tinkered with the idea to bring him into the RP as an actual character. Maybe someone who can give the other Villains a run for their money.

Try writing a scene with someone and forcing them into a situation, namely they clearly would never get themselves into, and watch the write become rather crappy in the long run. Rach naturally developed her own and even to this day, I can't rightly classify her state of mind.

Yep, and nice. I'll wait until Echo's read it first. I need the information from him first then we can slowly wrap this scene and return the kiddies to their playpen. Likely before Sish arrives and everyone else comes in. XD
