Fallenreaper — Roleplayer Guild

It's really not that hard to catch-up, I was more than clued in after reading (at this point) seven pages back. The only issue is if you want to have been in the city the whole time, but seriously, if you were a hero during all that stuff kicking off what were you doing, twiddling your thumbs?

Point being, it seems intimidating, but an hour or two of reading and you'll know everything going on with the Pax arc, have some idea what the Cowl is up to and other murderers/Villains, laugh at the awesome Speedster bro and sis team, and peer at Racheli as she gets carried around the place while being infected by an evil space disease.

And in between you get some random instances of giant eldritch creatures and apparently a team of American presidents, not to mention old timey witches and other things I confess to not really understanding.

I picked that up in about two hours, it's definitely not impossible.@MelonHead

Well, I just had an epiphany for my other character Chris, and I'd like some feedback. I've never had to write a power set that I made up. So I'm not sure if it even makes a lick of sense. Or makes sense but is completely redundant. (There is no such thing as an unwanted opinion. All thoughts are welcome. Especially the critical ones.)

Powers:Gargoyle FormChris has the ability to turn herself into stone at will.Stone skinWhen Chris transforms into stone she literally changes her skin into stone. This means her innards are still normal and not stone. When she talks about her ability she says she turns into stone, but that's not completely accurate.
Stone ManipulationChris can take stone from existing statues or formations and add it to her body while she's in her Gargoyle form. She's able to dictate where it goes and what shape it will take. (See bullet point below)
Morphing capabilitiesWhile stone Chris can add more stone onto herself and use that stone to change her appearance. This can happen either by adding stone items such as arms, wings, armaments, etc. Or by making the stone make her look like someone else.
Another way to think of it is that the new stone acts as a sort of second layer that she can manipulate at will within about a three to five foot radius (The radius is kind of malleable. EX: If she makes herself wings that can extend up to ten feet on each side she can maintain them even though they technically extend outside her radius. However in order to do so she'd have to sacrifice all her other additional stone to just concentrate on the wings.
Increased StrengthWhile in her Gargoyle form Chris' strength is increased. She hasn't tested her upper limits but it appears to be about twice the normal human capacity. She can lift cars and hit hard enough to crack concrete.
Increased resistance to injuryChris can take a lot more damage than normal people while as Gargoyle. She's far more resistant to physical attacks and some magical attacks. However due to her squishy innards, anything that can pierce her stone skin is just as dangerous to her and normal humans. Also Chris doesn't have any healing factor. If she gets damaged, the damage remains even when she returns to her human form. She cannot use other stone to repair damage done. She can give the illusion it does (but it really doesn't do anything for her). EG: Chris loses an arm, she can make herself a new one, but when she drops the stone she still is missing an arm.

And now I'm in a conundrum. Run two characters or have a fight to the death to see which one I should use? Hmmm.... decisions.@Blue Demon

OR see which you can work into a story or connection with someone else's? Namely, as I think she would be fun with Ben, my upcoming wolfie, in NYC. Personally, I find if you run two PCS then have them in different locations makes it easier. Also, VAT has some lore over gargoyles though you don't have to use it since it's not canon or been mentioned in the IC. I'm pretty sure you two can work together over it to get it flesh out to something fun.
