Everything was fucked, the girl was gone, there was an explosion happening, the building was burning down, it's time to get gone. Heartless went sunk into the floor, escaping the building as it collapsed atop the gooey corpses of the clones. He made his way to where Jason was, rising from the floor only to see two different Chatterboxes and Sofias, his eyes widened as he cursed under his breath. "Clones are the bane of my fucking existence. If I never run into another clone again I think I can die a happy man." Another explosion rang through the area as the building completely collapsed, Heartless cringed unconsciously at the incredibly loud noise. After the debris settled he recomposed himself and sighed, pulling out a butterfly knife from inside his jacket and toying around with it to calm himself somewhat, making sure his eyes were on the Chatterboxes at all times. Suddenly he recalled the last thing he had heard Chatterbox say over the comms, a passcode to identify which was the real one. None of that had made sense at the time, but now would probably be a could time to figure stuff out.

"I still have the Purple Venom, so no need to worry about that at least. It's in a safe spot." He added nonchalantly, wondering where the hell Headhunter was as he eyed both Chatterboxes carefully. "Headhunter we need to go ASAP, this place has so much heat on it that I'm not sure I escaped the burning building." Heartless called over the comms as he took his eyes off the Chatterbox duo for a second to look for Headhunter.

Oasis

@Lmpkio

A sharp voice cuts through her peace, the Demon knight who came with her yells at her to move. Anger begins to boil once more, the darkness that burns within her burns even darker. It eats away at the toxins that seek to immobilize her, she smacks her head with both fists and roars loudly, almost matching the monster in front of her in volume. She takes off into the air, shooting balls of darkness at the beast's heads from all angles as it attempts to swat and snap at her. She would be no monster's meal if she had anything to say about it, for this pitiful creature to even consider biting at her was a capital offense.

The one who came with her had brought along his peons as well it would seem, they lobbed artillery at the mighty hydra to pester it and distract it while she did the heavy lifting, which was good in that not all the heads would be attacking her all at once. On the other hand, she had to focus on dodging friendly fire as well, which was quite irritating. She would have to crush them all after this fight, she would make it quick since their intentions were good.

Lucifus would find his shots to be true, aimed directly at Rose's beam cannons they flew through the air at the speed of light and collided directly with the mechanical destroyers leaving behind... not even a scratch as her shields absorbed the entirety of the impact. However it did throw off her aim, which was enough to get her attention. She hadn't fired yet due to Muramasa deciding to get in close and Saef obscuring his position, so Rose turned around and aimed her fully charged cannons directly at Lucifus, firing as soon as she caught sight of him. The two lasers rushed towards his position, each one the size of a baseball bat, the energy inside them was nothing like Lucifus had ever seen. He would have no time to react as they headed straight for his chest and then stopped a mere foot away from him.

"JEEZ, I thought you Angels were supposed to be "honorable" and all that stuff! It's really rude to shoot someone from behind ya know! I just got done scolding your friend for that!" Rose had a look of annoyance upon her face as she puffed out her cheeks and glared at Lucifus, pointing at him with a scolding finger. "It's like I said, you gotta announce your surprise attack right before you do it! Something like "I won't let you hurt him!" ya know?" Suddenly a mischievous smirk appeared on her face as her pointed finger changed from just being that to a little finger gun with thumb raised. "Do it like this! BANG!" She closed her thumb to her hand as if shooting a gun, just as the laser that was previously frozen in place exploded in a burst of frozen energy. Yes that's right, frozen energy.

If Lucifus found himself too slow to get out of the way, his view of the battlefield would subtly change as everything got just a little bit faster, while his body was still moving at the same speed. To be more accurate, it's not that the world had gotten faster, but that he had gotten a little slower. His time signature had been pushed out of place slightly, it wouldn't be permanent but it would take a minute or two to fix itself. "I'll give you a second to think about that." She winked and giggled as her laser cannons began to charge up again, but additional cannons emerged from her sides. These ones needed no charge up, they began firing on Lucifus immediately.

Amaterasu would find her laser not even coming close to her mark as it was intercepted by a foolish scorpion rushing straight at them. The scorpions were practically pouring out the woodwork by now, larger and larger ones attacking everyone in the Ravine as their brethren were slain. Chen and Amaterasu in particular were being set upon by a very large number of scorpions due to their status as biggest target, thorns would erupt from the platform and vines every time that the scorpions attempted to climb up from above, but the scorpions that leapt upon them from above were something for Amaterasu to take care of. Normally Chen would also be taking care of this, but his attention was very divided right now, dodging Bonesword's rain of Vulcan Yew seeds, skewering scorpions from below as well as continuing their march forwards was a bit taxing on his focus to say the least.

Bonesword was not safe either as scorpions began to attack him from all sides, he wouldn't be able to outrun them either. Not only were these creepy crawlies very fast, but they were coming from his front as well, so he would have to put some focus into taking them out lest they impede his progress. A few were being taken out by his Vulcan Yew seeds, but unless he decided to focus on them it just wouldn't be enough. Not unless he had a plan.

Many people stared at him, some whispered, but none approached. How boring, you'd think that curiosity would blossom in an institute of learning such as this. Some people even took detours just to avoid him, it made him wonder if this was truly a Mage academy. Finally someone approached him, a woman in white robes with purple hair. A Mage of the White then, how boring. At least she had the guts to come talk to him as she asked him to keep it down. "Ah good, someone to talk to finally. I was wondering if you could direct me to someone who-" She cut in, grabbing the book out of his hands and looking it over. "Oh good you recognize it. I was hoping I could find someone who know more about this, I'm looking for the man who wrote this. Fascinating stuff, I wanted to look into it more."

"Where did you get this book...?" She asked quietly, Hade nodded and with a hint of glee and pride in his voice he said two words. "The library!" You couldn't see through his mask, but there was certainly a smile on his face as he placed his hands on his hips and tilted his head up slightly.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit-" Trey mumbled to himself as he ran down the hallway to Ms. Tholl's classroom. Of course he slept in, first day of official classes and he couldn't get his ass out of bed in time. He turned a sharp corner, sliding along the smoothly polished floors as his shoes struggled to gain purchase. He skidded to a stop, almost slamming into a few lockers as he continued his dead sprint to class. He was well aware that he wasn't supposed to be alone at any point, but he wasn't going to just skip class. Hopefully this incident would be overlooked just this once, with his luck that was pretty unlikely however. He finally made it to the door of the classroom and let out a heavy breath, looks like the lesson was already started so he wasn't going to make it out of this one unscathed.

Trey pressed his ear against the door to see what they were learning about, hearing something about Economics and services? He was at the right class wasn't he? Trey waited for a break in the talking and quietly opened the door, attention swung away from Lumen and towards Trey as he quietly walked over to an empty desk near the front of the class. Of course all the back desks were taken, that's what happens when you're late. All eyes were on him as he sat down, it was a bit anxiety inducing to be sure but it would pass. He looked at Ms. Tholl with a sheepish expression, rubbing the back of his head before he got out a pen and paper. "Sorry I'm late. I'm not exactly a morning-"

That's a wolf. Trey fell into silence as he observed the wolf sitting by Ms. Tholl's desk, quietly gnawing on it's leg. "...Is that a wolf?" It was the dumbest question he possibly could have asked, of course that was a wolf. The unspoken question however was closer to, "Why is there a wolf in front of me in my class?" That was a very good question that Trey would likely not get an answer to. One blink. Two. The wolf looked at him for a moment before disregarding him. Seriously, why is there a wolf sitting in front of him? Silence reigned. 'Is this my life? I guess it is.'
Bump.
Bump.

Henry held back a smirk and bowed lightly, keeping his eyes on Eos and Roma as he spoke. "Forgive me Lady Eos, I had a suspicion of your identity but I don't like to assume things. Keeps me alive nine times out of ten." He noted the small frown on her face, he couldn't help but feel somewhat bad that he was ruining such a rare show of affection from Roma and Eos, it almost made him want to leave. Almost. "And no. My senses are most certainly not dulling, I would say they're sharper than ever now that I don't have to constantly be smelling sulfur in the burning depths of Hell." As he straightened himself from his bow, he actually caught the faint smell of sulfur, which was quite unusual for- "SHIT!"

A blade of energy nicked Henry's cheek as he swerved his head out of the way as quickly as he could, a thin red line standing out against his pale visage as he began to bleed. His eyes narrowed as he nearly drew his sword on the spot, but he held himself back. There was only one person who could've struck from inside the house and he wanted an explanation before he attacked one of his only friends in this city. Lo and behold, Bastion emerged from the door with palm outstretched, electricity visibly crackling in her open palm. Her eyes were hardened, Henry had never seen that look in her eyes. Not when she was being controlled by Victoire when he first met her, not when he fought her in the forests of Arcadia and he tried to capture her, and certainly not when he visited her home with a fruit basket in hand to apologize for his shitty behavior.

He looked to Roma with a questioning gaze, he honestly had no idea what to do in this situation. His hand hovered near his sword for but a moment, his stance defensive and crouched as he unconsciously prepared for a fight, but he slowly began to stand up and relax as he waited for the next move. "I don't plan on going anywhere to be frank. A friend invited me to their house and I brought fruit. I don't feel like letting it go to waste." A cocky grin settled on Henry's face as per usual, but it was a poor cover for his inner turmoil. What the fuck was going on today?

Nina had been able to dodge the spikes that had sought to end her life, many of the lesser demons were not nearly as lucky on the other hand. Not that they mattered, the low born rank and file of Hell meant nothing in the grand scheme of things, they were just bodies to throw at other bodies. She raced through the ravine with a scowl on her face, backhanding any of the scorpions who thought they could approach the King of Dragons.

As she made her way through the Ravine, powering through any and all obstacles, she found herself to be the first in a strangely calm Oasis. She found herself taking a deep breath, her eyes blinking rapidly as she looked around. Something smelled funny, but she had no time to think on that. A massive Hydra rose from the waters with a mighty roar and Nina prepared to take off into the skies, but she paused. Normally she wouldn't even hesitate to roar in defiance and try to kill the creature, but something about the air was calming her down. She hadn't felt this calm for months admittedly, it wasn't all that bad...

Saef's plan was solid, cutting off Bonesword's form of transport would leave him very vulnerable to further holy blasts. Unfortunately Saef failed to account for one thing. Bonesword wasn't alone in this fight. Rose sped past Saef at mach speeds, intercepting the holy blast with her body and the energy shields which covered her body. Some of the blast made it past her regardless, Saef had made quite the wide attack, but it was only able to cut some of the vines upon which Bonesword rode. Rose hovered in place to block Saef, wagging her finger in a disapproving manner with a playful smile on her face. "Now now, it's rude to shoot at someone while their back is turned! You gotta make a dramatic entry first like, 'You're not getting away that easy!' or whatever it is you Angels say."

She giggled a little at her Angel impression, then pointed at Saef with her left index finger and a whole lot of energy cannons. "Here, I'll show you how to do it. If you wanna get him you're gonna have to go through me!" With that said the energy cannons began to glow a bright orange as they charged up, ready to fire upon Saef for thinking he could attack a Machina with impunity.

Chen watched Amaterasu float beside him and mentally sighed, it would appear as if every animal in Heaven was somehow magnetically attracted to him. Chen tapped his rapier upon the ground once more and the ground began to shake, vines lifting the earth beneath them and carrying them forwards to the ravine. "If you see anyone you wish to engage, just hop off. You'll find your landing quite soft if you aren't able to land on your feet." If anyone wished to take him up on the offer they would find a soft pile of flowers awaiting them, even if they didn't bother to say a single thing. Chen had no wish to fight the soulless machines nor the foul beings that came from Hell. He only had eyes for the destination in front of him and he would have no mercy for any who tried to get in his way.
@Dealdric

I'll be quite frank here. Your quality of writing is not up to par with what we expect around here, this character is a carbon copy of Ghost Rider, your grammar is terrible, you apparently think separating paragraphs is bad, and you did not make a good impression when you decided to submit a OC from Invader Zim. Furthermore, not only is your character a carbon copy of Ghost Rider, it's a bad one at it. You are being rejected.

A heavy metal boot stepped out of the portal and onto the sands of Exilia, it's owner following shortly afterwards. Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. A loud growl was heard throughout the arena in which everyone started, eyes turned towards what appeared to be a young girl in very heavy armor. She looked like a feral animal almost, brow scrunched, teeth bared, muscles tense as she prepared for any sort of attack. What appeared to be liquid darkness dripped from her mouth, falling upon the sands and staining them black. Suddenly wings flared out from her back, adorned with rubies and gold as she looked to the sky and roared. A cloud of darkness erupted forth from her maw, shooting into the sky like a geyser erupting after thousands of years of dormancy. And of course, what goes up must come down. Many combatants would find themselves under attack from black raindrops, any that touched them would burn like acid rain. The Holy combatants would find themselves less affected, but it still stung to be sure.

Out of nowhere the ground began to shake, Nina stopped and looked at the sands beneath her with minor confusion as the shakes slowly began to intensify. Then she took off into the air, just as something erupted from beneath her.

Rose dropped onto the ground with a cocky smirk on her face, landing next to Bonesword and Muramasa with a loud thud as a large cloud of sand was kicked up by her landing. This was followed by the light sound of her coughing as she tried to wave the sand out of her face with eyes closed and her other hand covering her mouth and nose. "Jeez, I really need to work on my landing." As the sand finally settled, Rose blinked a few times and smiled brightly, looking at Muramasa and Bonesword with excitement in her eyes and victory in her future. "So! You guys ready to win this for..." She was interrupted by a roar in the distance from one very angry Demon. Rose's hands flew through the air, arms above head as several energy shields appeared above the group to protect them from the rain of darkness that sought to melt them down. Just as suddenly as it started it stopped as Rose's attention was drawn to several readings being sent to her HUD.

A popup would display in both her and Muramasa's gaze, displaying considerable seismic activity and something barreling up at them from underneath the ground, Bonesword would be able to feel it as well for entirely different reasons. "Oh shit, JUMP!" Rose's thrusters activated at max power immediately as something rushed up from the sands to try and kill her.

Yet the quietest entrance of all the combatants would be from someone who might just be the strongest of them. Chen quietly stepped onto the sands of Exilia and sighed, he had hoped he would never have to come back to this broken and Shattered world. It felt as if the world was mocking him as he looked around, observing the combatants who sought to sully his past. A roar pierced his melancholy as a Demon rained upon the sands with darkness made solid to try and kill everyone before the battle even begun. He scoffed as an ornate rapier appeared in his hand, tapping the ground and drawing a circle in the air with no urgency at all. A large barrier of wood raised above the Angels, the darkness rained upon it ferociously to try and destroy them. But it was to no avail, this wood had the strength of the strongest Machina metals and was supplemented by holy energy to go with it.

But they weren't going anywhere if they were to be trapped under this downpour of shadows, so Chen tapped the ground with his rapier once more. The earth began to shake violently as something began to form under the sands, yet the angels were completely unaffected. Suddenly a burst of thorns and sharp wood shot out from underneath almost every Demon and Machina, seeking to impale them and end the battle now. "Come now. I don't wish to spend anymore time here then necessary." Chen spoke aloud to the Angels that flanked him, tapping upon the wood that surrounded them and watching it fall apart into branches and flowers. And then he began walking.
