That's fine, and having someone freshly indoctrinated and out of the Progenium is also fine, I would think that sadly - due to the very grimdark darkness that you mention - any idealism she may have had will be swiftly crushed.

There is a good reason/are good reasons that idealism and idealists with them are usually not found in 40k, just pointing that out.

Ooh, I just saw this. I'm not exactly great on 40K lore, but I think I'd like to do a hospitaller maybe?

I'd strongly recommend reading the two links posted in the OP, as that should give you more-or-less all the information you need to participate; I would prefer more Battle-Sisters than Hospitallers simply due to the warrior/healer ratio, but as I say, you do as you would like and we'll see how it goes.
