@Guy0fV4lor Yeah that sounds good. There isn't much rush, you can take your time with it
A week later...

Wings of Law was finally out of the way. They were over, done, dusted. The most popular super group erased in a couple of weeks. And who was even left to take up that mantle? Well, its Starbright. Heavy lies the crown and Starbright is more than happy and equipped to wear it. The past week had been a whirlwind of media attention, interviews, movie deals, and even his new album came out. After all, what more was expected for the guy who took down Sea Serpent and Seraph? It was only natural.

But he wasn't alone in the take down of Seraph. Nor was he alone in being a celebrity hero. The Bullet was an emerging personality in the public eye and Starbright was more than happy to give him his time in the sun. It was about time some real heroes were the face of HERO, not those Wings posers. Speaking of the Bullet he had yet to go on his big talk show interview on Castleburg Today. It was best to call up and make sure he was ready.

"Bullet, how are you doing? Look remember you got that Castleburg Today interview coming up today. This will be the first time people get to hear from the man himself, no pressure. Anyway I got some clothes for you to wear, just to help establish your image some more." The clothes set out were, in fact, scarily similar to Starbright's. But just within that call, Starbright remembered the way he was brought up, having no control over any decisions made. He decided against doing that to Chad. "Uh, scratch that actually, you can buy your own clothes. I'm sending you over some money for them. 5 grand should be enough right? Nah we will make it 10 grand to be safe. Anyway, yeah, knock yourself out. All I want to see when I look at you on that show is something that screams 'THIS IS THE BULLET'. I think you best know what that looks like. Oh and no Gucci stuff, thats all bargain bin trash anyway. Again no pressure, just a few million watching."

The Bullet wasn't the only figure gaining a following though. Much to Starbright's dismay Patty was gaining a following. A group of his own fans really related to the sob story he guess. Either way he saw that it could be good for her, maybe with a following she would learn to be more likable. Although, his public persona would tell a different story.

"So, Starbright. I have been meaning to ask. You were one of the first to come out in support of your fellow hero Patricia Donnelly. Could you tell us about that?" The interviewer asked this question and Starbright was happy to answer having prepped it in advance. "I wouldn't just say she is a fellow hero, she is also a good friend. Just like I wish I was with all my fans, you know? The first thing I did when it was all over was make sure that she was alright." Starbright had a great talent to shamelessly lie on television. "But you know things have all being going back to stuff as normal. You know it honestly feels like nothing happened at all. I'm already back to giving her singing lessons."

"Singing lessons? Tell us about that." "Well I don't think she would want me to say. But I aim to please the people. One day, she came to me and said 'Starbright, I really want to be a singer like you. But I just don't think I can'. You know, I said 'nonsense Patty you can do anything you put your mind to. Even this. I'll give you a few lessons and we will bring that star out.' The improvements were night and day. I even plan on having her in my next album. I know, I know, its a bit early to be planning that sort of thing, but I hope it goes through. But yeah, to all my fans, please don't bring the lessons thing too much up to her. She can get a bit embarrassed."

Sure Starbright could justify that to Patty by saying he was strengthening her every-girl image. But frankly, he was on some petty shit there.

Starbright stood before what remained of Club 27 from behind a police line. The last relic of what remained of the Wings of Law. He remembered the first time he saw this place, he was jealous. They handled their merchandising so much better than him back then. But its not like you can keep up an operation like that from a cell. What criminal behavior was hidden behind the walls of this place under the cover of the stardom and glamour? It was a bad reflection into what he could be.

But who cared about all that? All that mattered now is how long it was going to take the police to finish up the investigation. Cause you better bet Starbright bought this place. He is going to demolish the entire thing and then build up his own club in the same spot as a big middle finger to Wings. What would he call it? Club Bright... Ok, the name may need some work but the point is, it is happening.

Hey sorry but on second thought I think I have bit much on my plate atm
Is it too late to chuck in an application?

Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit. What the hell happened to Seraph? In Starbright's mind he was just drinking some wine, and then this happened. What had Seraph become? Some disgusting monstrosity that only spelt one thing for Starbright, death. Screaming in panic he sprinted for the door, but couldn't get a hold of the handle. Putting his back to the wall, he fell down into a sit, closed his eyes, put Sea Serpent in front of him, and hoped it all went away. But much like the guard, nothing happened. It was all a bunch of scary noises. When he heard the glass shatter, he opened his eyes. And saw the monster of Seraph plummeting to his death.

"Oh... right, yes. I knew that was going to happen." Starbright stood up and tried gaining his composure. He placed Sea Serpent down to the side. "Sorry about that Sea." But the apology wasn't about using her body as a shield. "If a someone turned into a hideous monster just to not be with me I'd be devastated too." Not like she could respond. "Well at least we got one for Coldwater, right Bullet? That's something." He walked over to share a victory with the guy. But his gaze quick set back to the hole Seraph left. It was a little too close to him, he took a step back.

"This though, this just won't do. We can't have Seraph just die from going ghoul. Wheres the drama in that? Wheres the pizazz? There is no value in any of this."

"Lesson 2 Bullet, this ones important. Do you know the value of a story? What happened today will be remembered in history. We can't have it ruined by, well this." He gestured over to the hole. "Looking like a hero can be just as important as being one. Think about this, what criminal is going to want to fight the two who destroyed that monster in seconds? No conflict, no casualties, no collateral damage."

Starbright turned to face the Bullet directly and looked him straight in the eyes. "You and I are the only ones who saw what happened here. We did this. We pulled out and new, never before seen, combo that finished Seraph in seconds. Who in their right mind would go up against something like that?"

Gazing back at the hole, Starbright continued. "I won't go through with saying that if you aren't on board with it. But if you do, I think there's going to be a big future for you coming up."

@Hitman@Duoya
@Borosev A minimum of 4 so 1 more, I'll give it a few more days to see if there is new interest

As expected, David was driving alone. He finished tying the tarp down, which adequately hid the arsenal of deadly weaponry it held. Hopping back into the front seat, he ignited the ancient engine and let it sit. It rumbled in a fashion few cars of the modern age did, David just let it sit and hoped that it didn’t explode. This truck would need to last him a 3 hour road trip and he had yet to put that to the test. Would it last him to Baltimore? Who knew, but did David care? Hell no. It was time to get on the road.

As David drove by landscape after landscape, he found himself admiring the countryside. As far as he could think back he had never really seen it, whether he was driving or being driven. He was glad he had control of this ride. The mission was imperative that everyone would be ready as soon as possible. But seeing the scenery he was passing by, he found it difficult to speed. In general, he kept to the speed limit throughout the journey. Not like it was hard to make such a decision with an armies worth of weaponry in the back.

Although it was great to see the countryside, the great expanse of land that he had never seen before. The quiet let in less pleasant thoughts. What would his dad say if he saw him right now? An arsenal in the back and driving off to kill multiple people, or at least they were close enough. Did his mum know about this? Did she know this is what spending the summer with the coven would entail? Was his father right. He would try his best to dissuade those thoughts, but they were becoming more and more frequent with the knowledge of impending danger and would come rocketing into the foreground everytime he thought of this ‘mission’. It was best to just let his mind sink into the scenery and ignore that issue, at least for now.

Sometime down the road he pulled over for a proper lunch. He was in no rush to get to Baltimore and the bloodsuckers any time soon so it was best to relax i.e. not eating in the car. He didn’t imagine the others were exactly going full throttle either. From his guess, Calypso’s car would be lucky if they reached Baltimore and didn’t take a detour to some theme park. So in short, he was planning on enjoying his lunch.

The place he pulled over in was just a roadside forest clearing with a park bench in the middle. The sort that would have been used if it were 50 years ago. Now it just looked like some dilapidated relic of the past. But that was what David needed, somewhere that no one is going to be looking at the truck. He sat down at the park bench and pulled out his lunch. David packed himself a poorly constructed chicken sandwich. He didn’t mind it though, it tasted all the same anyway.

Taking the time to absorb his surroundings, David noticed a couple of blue jays on a nearby tree branch. Did he have some special magnetism to this specific type of bird? He could only guess based on how much he saw. Only, these blue jays didn’t seem to pay him any mind. They went on their own business as if he weren’t even there. This was curious because of how the ones around the coven house acted. Or had he really been correct that it was the same blue jay. It was a curiosity of his to be sure. Tossing out a bit of bread in their direction, they did respond by flying down and pecking at it. But afterward they just flew away as if nothing happened. Doing the same thing, David had finished his food and was immediately ready to continue the journey.

Nearing the end of the drive, David was entering the urban areas of Baltimore. This was a much more familiar environment, he felt in his element entering here. But he still had one matter of business he wanted to attend to before he arrived at the hotel. His truck pulled up at the gaudiest pawn shop he could see.

“Look mate, as I said me and me Dad just moved over here from Aussie. He’s a bit of a collector and he wants something like this. So can you just sell it to me or do I need to get him in here mate.” It was a bold faced lie, but he doubted the store owner would sell the item to someone who looked as young as David. And on that note it worked flawlessly. Although, he had a suspicion that the owner really didn’t care how old David was in the end. David left the store with a brand new set of brass knuckles. He had always seen them in gangster movies and thought ‘damn it would be cool to have some of those’ and now he was admiring them on his fingers. What a place America is.

David pulled up to the hotel a bit later and began unpacking. To his shock, or maybe lack of shock, he was the first one there.

Isla liked Zeke's TV persona, even more than the real guy if she was being honest. Though she wouldn't tell him that. Even still, trying to upstage her like that was a bit far and certainly wasn't going to fly. Although this has been the first time her and Zeke have both been on camera, this was not her first time having to deal with this sort of thing. It happened all the time during her competition days and she herself had done the same on more than one occasion. Isla adorned the smile that you only make when you are irritated and angry during Zeke's speech. "...I'll let you be my cheerleader and watch how I do it."

Isla wrapped one arm around Zeke's shoulders, trying to hide that she had to be on her tippy toes a bit to do so. "I think being your cheerleader would be a great time. Who wouldn't want to cheer on the guy who brought home the gold of Galar... She turned to the camera smiling, leaving it hanging a bit before continuing. "Oh wait, I forgot, I'm the one who did that, didn't I? And you're just the guy who got kicked out of the major leagues. Oh, I think that will make for a great interview so I'll leave you to it." She gave Zeke a reassuring smile, as if to say that its all in good fun. But the message was clear, she will fire back in turn if he did it again. "Good luck stud." She left back to the now gathering group of leaders only offering a parting wink and a smile to Zeke.

Blue furrowed his brow in frustration. He hadn't come here for sweetbread, or to have a conversation with his new guild buddies. No, he came to see if this place was up to scratch with what everyone says. He wanted to see if this was a place where he could make something of himself. Now that he was here all that mangy excuse of a leader could muster was 'I wanted adult recruits'? This wouldn't do, Blue was just about reaching that age anyway and he was going to be turned down?

Blue, who had previously been hanging in the back, made his way up toward the front. He got within a distance to look confrontational with Scorch but not to close that the height difference between the two would be apparent. "I don't know about these other lot, but almost an adult and I can certainly fight like one mate. Looking around it doesn't look like you got much of a choice anyway. It looks pretty empty for a guild, don't it?" That was a bold lie, Blue had never stepped in a guild but he went on as if that worked. "You don't look in too good of a shape either. But hey mate, if you don't need the help, I'll leave. No skin of my back."

Instead of immediately leaving the Croagunk stood there, not really able to move. He wasn't under some sort of paralysis, but it was as if there was a massive disconnect between what he was saying and what he really wanted.

I like it, feel free to shift it across to the characters tab. This still depends on if the RP is going through, which I would like a minimum of four characters to do so.
