Only after the others had lined up like good little soliders, and the guard threatened to tase her did Roxy from the wall. Her movements were silent and gracefully. Her movement showed the animal DNA the way nothing else had. Although she gave no indication of it She had heightened senses. She could hear more than the guards realized. She realized quickly not to give away all of her abilities. It was smart to keep as much hidden as she could.

The guard at the glared at her. She shrugged nonchalantly as he opened the door. The hall was lined with guards. There was one at every door. The cameras hung from the ceiling every five feet seat or so. They scanned in a pattern that left no spot out of sight for more than a few seconds. It was clear they were prepared for escape attempts.

If anything it would be less controlled which would make it more dangerous.

Mages of New Edis

Katherin bite her lip. She ran through all her spells as she toyed with her bracelet. The bracelet had symbols for all the different types of weather. She ran through the spells one by one trying think of one that might work. But she couldn't think of anything that would affect illustrations. After all they weren't solid which meant her spells would go through.

Then she drowned in thought. Wouldn't everyone's attacks? Maybe focusing on the illusions wasn't the right idea. She hesitated to say anything though. As an orphan she was a people pleaser. She didn't want to upset anyone. She decided to wait until a few others voiced there opinion. Not that there were many of them. She was surprised how few of them had made it. It made her think more of the group.

Be my Sanctuary

Roxy stiffened at Jess' words. She was sure that the empath was simply trying to reassuring her mom but she had no interest in contributing any more. She was done for now. She kept her eyes on her phone. She flipped through articles hoping to find something that would help. But she knew the chances were slim. Even if there was another anchor with her problem they weren't like to admit it any more than she was.
