might end up being Astarte since she's looking for entertainment and/or someone to play with(I think).

You dirty badger XDD haven't even looked at the universe and you're already targeting the ladies

Edit: ninja'd, a match made in heaven? Or hell, depending on whose asking

I was actually going to try doing something similar, where Zephyrion blesses the bloodline of one dynasty and I control most of the descendants similarly to heroes.

-.- yeah, I was going to do this dynasty (initially just a stone age family) thing too. Minus the hero part.

You remind me. Repost your sheet for us.
@Skyrte what happened to your sheet? I don't remember seeing it in the OOC
@Kho, I am aware that Heroes are by default immortal. But I am also aware that Reathos is opposed to that idea IC'ly (this is correct, right, @Legion02?). To appease Reathos, I had plotted an alternative to immortality for the Hero which Gerrik will become (to be enacted once Reathos brings the immortality issue to Teknall's attention). Gerrik will train up an apprentice. Once they are ready, Gerrik will pass the mantle of Heroism to the apprentice (call him A). Gerrik will eventually die a natural death, while A carries on as the Hero. A will then pick up an apprentice, B, and once they are both ready B will be given the status (and powers) of Hero. A will live out the rest of their natural life and die, while B carries on the legacy, picking up an apprentice. The cycle repeats.

What do you think? Of course, only one individual can be the Hero at any one time. One advantage of this setup, aside from keeping Reathos happy, is that it prevents the Hero from stagnating, mentally and skill-wise, which is important since this Hero will be primarily an innovator. If we have just one individual who is 4000 years old, they'll get bogged down in the past, and be less willing to bring about change and innovation. The apprentice system ensures that fresh minds and ideas constantly flow.

This is rather unconventional, of course. So I shall await your judgment as GM.
@Legion02 What do you think of it, too?

It's original, rather brilliant, and I like it.

What is the point of an avatar? The way I see it, the only conceivable use for them is to be somewhere the deity is not, but sense Gods can teleport across the world or universe in an instant, even that ability is almost entirely useless except for in the most rare of situations.

You know what the point of an avatar is. Even though we tweaked the rules so the presence of a god doesn't cause an apocalypse, they still have plenty of uses - particularly for reclusive gods like Vowzra
<Snipped quote by Dawnscroll>

Isn't Notte like an extension of a god or something? I could be wrong, but they're just a puppet.

Ilunabar, being the a goddess of stories, has slightly different avatars. They're more like independent 'characters' she has created, with distinctly different personalities from her
@Kho Also, I should be thrilled I didn't make the dinosaurs first... Toby's ding could be an extinction level event.

...how the hell is he even going to survive impact, let alone the Realta?

I was thinking about that very problem, and I was convinced that Toby was going to be pulverised. But genius has struck and I know just the thing. To survive the impact, that is. I've no idea how she's going to go about escaping the wrath of the thousands of Realta :\

Also, despite the fact that we don't know whether they have souls, I'm to going to assume that Arconian humans have developed emotions. Even if they hadn't before, I think Lifprasil's birth should do the trick.

@Antarctic Termite I'm assuming that the First Sculptor is not a hero. If it is, let me know.
@Antarctic Termite I don't day this often: but that most recent post? That was sexy. Twisting Notte's mind for Elysium, finding Arcon in a way Logos could approve, even name dropping the Realta there. Thumbs up from me.

Expect Logos to have a chat with a certain.goddeas about air dropping a giant fucking ant though.

@Kho TWO?! I thought there was just the ant? How the hell do you communicate with this thing anyway?

So, has Elysium suddenly become the trophy wife? Allure, Lipfrasil, Notte. At this point, Logos is going to give you 12 trials for her hand. You all know she's not a demigod, right? Just a Realta of flesh.

Well, Toby just went all-out paratrooper and crossed most of the known universe to come and hang with Logos and Ely, and the other character (well, its a stone age human family) that I've hinted to you about will come about soon. Just as soon as I've finished this essay.
Just to check, Arconian humans have fire and community - anything else at all? However small you may think it. How developed is their language? Do they paint? Do they hunt with spears or is it still the 'bash things with rock' stage? Are they all butt-naked?

Edit: and you communicate with it by using its language xPP basically, ants communicate in three main ways: using pheromones, clicking their mandibles, and rubbing a part of their gaster (or sometimes their hindlegs) against a part of their petiole, making a sound similar to running a stick against a comb. These sounds can differ greatly and mean a variety of things - scientists are still exploring exactly how sophisticated 'ant language' is. It was previously thought that the sounds they made were purely warnings/alarm bells, but recent discoveries suggest that there are different sounds that have differing meanings. It's really quite amazing.

Man, I'm in such a creative dryspot right now :<

Can't really think in anything to do for the rest of the turn, except with Notte of course
