Don't have much to say right now but while this is under construction, wanted to mention that my circumstances have changed now that I have a newborn baby in the house. Welcome to year 2065, the World Civil War has ended between the U.N. and the New Revolution. The world government vs. a gathering of rebels, "terrorist", activists, hacktivists, conspiracy theorists, and the like, who needed to face the overwhelming power the world government had. Tapping into forces of the supernatural, gaining some evolution through the black market along with weaponry, this was what gave the Revolution the edge in the war.
After the war, the world wasn't fully apocalyptic like what people thought but there were places that were no longer inhabitable. Still though...throughout the world, there were still full functioning cities but because of the government's influences no longer having a total hold anymore, most cities have become self governed. One of these cities is where I live....Grand Haven (A city that's about twice the size of new york).
My name is....well....you can just call me Blaque. When the people of the NR opened a gateway to the weird, others who had nothing to do with the war, went through it gaining skills and weapons of their own. The war of the world was over but here in Grand Haven, the Turf Wars began. several names popped up as to who gained what district. These overseers each having elite associates in their organizations, syndicates, and factions, have these places on lock and enough power to keep others in their territory and their rivals in check.
The police suffered during the turf wars. Now numbering at about 100 to close to 200, most are too afraid to fight back against the overwhelming power of these different factions, some are working with the factions, others....dead and some who are still committed, doing what they can in the slums where the lower level crimes are taking place. Civilians have no choice but to either fend for themselves or work under the law of the faction that's running their district.
We can't keep living like this. The so-called mayor is not doing anything to help, the police are beaten and anarchy is pretty much the calling now. People are tired of living in fear. That's where you come in. I found you for the purpose of recruiting you into my group. People still need help out there and I feel that with your skills and track record, you can make a difference. With the enemies and extraordinary individuals that will get in our way....do you have what it takes to join and be part of Vendetta inc.?

Kai started using his spoon to sip the watered down soup once Jae started speaking. Kai was hungry as hell and when he noticed Jae lifting the bowl and placed it on his lip, Kai shrugged and quickly placed the spoon down FUCK IT!! quickly lifting the bowl and guzzled down the watered down soup and placed the empty bowl back down and looked over to Jae Damn, that was good!! *belch* Not her type? What type is she into? he asked Nevermind, doesn't matter. Yeah if we do have rope, that's the best bet. May need someone around just in case something happens. he said
Kai looked up to where Jae was looking and gave a slight nod to the commander as well. Continuing the conversation and chuckled This world is shit now, I highly doubt there many people left to offend but just lookin' for ya to make things easier. For a moment Kai thought about the next question Honestly, I was thinking of figuring that out too. And what kind of powers others have. I mean...we need to know who are the most dangerous, the most useful, and the most pathetic....like me.... he responded but paused to look over at another who approached them.
After Jae spoke, Kai spoke next Yeah, it's Kai and like Jae said, nah...but we were talkin' about goin' outside. Some weird shit is goin' on....I can float....and Jae got a better ability than me. He said Also we were trying to figure out if others have powers like us. Do you? what can you do? is it badass? he asked and stopped talking the moment he heard peaches.
