Xia was taking in the thought of how Marin got her nickname. Was actually cute how "Mali" came to play. She could call her that more often. Xia loved the children and she hoped one day she could work with them more often. She didhold a small work out school gym class once to introduce some dances with exercising. That's so cute! I don't know I think I'll start using that name a little more often. just for your baby cousin's influences in making that name. I love the kids. She chuckled.

When Xia looked over at the guy that Mali must've knew, she simply listened to their conversation quietly not wanting to be rude by speaking out of turn. So this guy must've known or be well acquainted with her sister? When they were both introduced to one another, Xia smirked just to be kind and brought her hand up to offer a shake. Nice to meet you Prince Charming Ethan. Xia the island spice...need rum, a little taste of Caribbean food, or some sounds of the island melody...I got you. She said just being polite.

She looked around again to notice another guy waving and speaking their direction. Seemed Mali knew him too but again, Xia didn't know him and let's Marin speak first. Xia blinked for a moment and turned to Marin. You sing? She asked. Xia sang a little but it's been years since she sang in front of others. Mostly singing to herself. So far these other people that have came to speak didn't seem so bad. If Xia wanted to have a chance to expand her horizon, this was her chance in meeting more people. Usually weren't the type of people she hung out with since back home, everyone were mostly black and or mixed but nothing wrong with meeting others of different ethnicity. She did live temporarily in different cultures.

Haven't forgotten. I'm going to post tomorrow. I was mostly watching American Football and hung out with family while just checking mostly on notifications throughout the weekend here.

OK I am going to have Griffin respond to the captain. That won't progress the story, not sure there is a way to do that at the moment. But I have a couple of questions.

@FalkiThomas Why isn't the captain reacting to the gunshot?
@King Tai when you say scope what do you mean? They didn't have anything besides a telescope back then.

They did have telescopes back then but I think it was late 1500s to early 1600s when the first ones were used. it was around the time pistols and firearms were starting to be used. It was of course the smaller handheld ones.

Sorry for the hold up. Kat, I'll try to be more active here and provide so more help. Hopefully it will help the writers block.

@KatherinWinter Don't worry about it, things will sort themselves out :) @King Tai wanted to bring in someone working with the Black Demon, didn't you? Things will get rolling when we have someone constant; we keep getting people popping in, starting something, then popping out which doesn't help plot. Hopefully we will get something going now it's back to the original 'guild' members :)

Did they lose him? the gunshot that could be heard made Isago stop and stay hidden for a moment to make sure no one else were coming to step in thanks to the shot that rang out. Was it necessary? Maybe so if the guy was too fast. Isago stayed hidden for a few moment before hearing the whistle. That must've been Ratte since he was hearing it from the initial area he remembered seeing her go. Isago cautiously came out and eventually made it back to the tavern area to hear Kai apologize.

Isago looked at the two. "It's fine...listen...I figured something like this would happen so I know of another place we can stay for now. If we go now...we shouldn't be made out." He told them.

Not too far away, someone was looking through their scope at the boy that ran away. He looked like he was chased but...he got away. I knew that boy was useful. And he managed to get away. Black Demon won't be disappointed. But...I bet if these people were smart, they'll move...they just better hope they don't run into us. otherwise...we'd be forced to push them out. Not that I'm against it but the boss wants us to be...quiet The individual said. Ain't that right, Flying Edge? A smile came from a woman that was with this male Hmph...
Let's get in a closer look shall we? Jumping off the roof with this female with him.

Oliver for a moment was distracted by the tray with the whole rotisserie chicken especially cooked for him. No veggies, nothing but meat. Before Oliver started to chow down, the southern sounding male answered him about the snake hybrid man to which Oliver looked back at and shrugged. Yeah...maybe...I may be lucky I didn't turn into that but the question is...would I have been stronger and more dangerous in that form? He took his seat and ripped a piece of the chicken apart. Hearing what kind of bird he took after and the replication of his own voice, Oliver pointed Oh shit! Now that's useful, Mano. And yeah never heard of it but hey, I think we could cause damage with that. He told him with a chuckle.

He looked to the other females learning of one being an owl, a wolf, and a Panther, only learning 2 of the 3 names. Well it's nice to meet you little ladies. The name's Oliver...and my dna is that of a black mamba, amor. He told them. With those three animals, He'd mostly have to watch after them because the wolf and panther girls could possibly pose a problem for him. He was unsure about the owl girl but hey, if they had to work together, so be it. That is if they trust him enough to team with him.
