BGM

“You, my young man, don’t know anything about respected.” The minstrel said while straightening his coat, after being so roughly treated by Shakrais. Now that he was back to his feet it was possible to notice that the bard’s face was covered with a scarf around his neck leaving only his eyes visible, though the shadow of the hat made it hard to even distinguish them. “That is a sacred song, you just defiled. When the time comes, you’ll know the foolishness of your actions to day.”

After saying so, the minstrel turned on his back and walked away, playing his lute calmly, while reciting an old song used up to today to scare children into obedience:

“Children who don’t know their place
who don’t listen to their elders and quiet when told
this lesson is for them to learn,
lest the snake comes to eat them.”

Sienna Aquarian

“Huh? I- I- I can’t believe it’s you again, Charming. What do you think you are doing in the middle of the street?” Sienna panicked in Cass’ grip, the thief’s face getting redder than the apple she was eating but a moment ago. Meanwhile, Rinco’s eyes widened, and her little mouth took and O shape from surprise, “Is she your friend, Sienna? Oh, and why is she kissing you like this isn’t it a thing human boys do to the girls they love?” A little vein seemed to pop on Sienna’s brow at the comment, though she couldn’t fault Rin for that after all, the innocent snow fairy didn’t knew anything about the depravity men were capable of.

“Hmm… let’s just say that this one has a bit more hidden than I do, Rin.” Sienna said, between clenched teeth, while staring Cass down. If this brat thought that getting the Icy Thief would be so easy, he was very much wrong, as the hand that deftly slid to the back of her cape, seeking one of her daggers would prove. Buut before Sienna could even make it, the commotion of the other side of the market finally seemed to have hit this one as a large crowd crying of a Dissonance and an enemy siege began to flood the plaza.

When one of them bumped on Cass, forcing his grip on Sienna to lessen in force, the thief made a run for it, shouting “Sorry Charming, you won’t be getting this fox’s tail today. Better luck next time~”

Claudia Blair

“Oh ho! That was a good one. Are you some kind of street fool? Take this here, you deserved it.” Claudia said, with a warm smile on her face, as she patted Shakrais shoulder with a bit more force than she probably needed to while producing a couple of silver coins and placing them on his hand. Who could blame her after all for that? Shakrais was sure putting up an act worthy of a street performer and Claudia has never been the most observant one.

Right around this time the sound of hurried steps from a wooden sole hitting the cobblestones of the market’s streets, could be heard approaching from behind Shakrais. “Claudia~ Claudia~ why did you left me behind, I was searching for you everywhe- reeeee!?” In her haste to get back to her absentminded master, Ravel stumbled on her rather elaborate priestess clothes and rolled on the ground, hitting the small of Shakrais back with her head. “Ouch… I- I’m sorry, if there’s anything I can do.” The phoenix said while casting a glare and puffing her cheeks at Claudia who was laughing heartily even now.

“I’m sorry for that, Ravie is a bit clumsy sometimes, but she’s a good girl. Here, let me help you up.” Claudia said as she extended her hand to help Shakrais get back up. Meanwhile Ravel dusted herself before getting behind Claudia, still pouting, “Geez, Claudia, I’m not clumsy, just… unlucky, you know! Hmph!” The phoenix scoffed turning away from master in a mock tantrum which h only ever elicited more laughs from Claudia as she used her free hand to pet Ravel, after all that was the sole cause of this issue as she knew all too well.

Back at the, rather anticlimactic, fight against the Dissonance…

The Behemoth, despite being a hulking mass of unbridled brutality had no hopes of outliving the brutal assault of the combined might of all the Song Knights. Perhaps if there were one or two less it could have done some actual damage to the city, but it was beyond the point, the lumbering figure just lurching and falling to the ground before it’s body began to decompose into the dark aether.

However, as a testament that not all was good and clean into this world, a few people apparently had either died or gotten grievously injured after being stomped by the fleeing mob. It was then that… “Ara~ people”, a sinister voice, not very different from the one Mary heard in her mind said amidst the crowd that remained, “look at all this chaos and destruction. Isn’t the Song Knights’ duty to protect us from this?” At this mention, the people began stop and listen to these words that seemed to come from the mouth of a small girl dressed in a frilly dress in the middle of them, indignation slowly building in their eyes as they gazed on goods and lives lost. “Yet, wasn’t the small one who began it all? I’m sure I saw her on that stone, did it became the dissonance? What about that other, is that a skeleton? Do we need necromancers to defend us now? What if… they turn the ones who oppose them into monsters like that one~?”

As the flames of indignation and protest were slowly fanned by the Goth loli girl the crowd’s fear slowly turned into rage and they began to curse and question the knights. However, the calm melodies played by Rander were having their effect on the crowd and, despite their bad disposition violence was unlikely to break any soon, at least until the guard arrived. To see what was happening, unless… “Oh~ is one of them using their magic on us, ohh… I feel weak, maybe thinks that they’re gods that can judge us? What’s thi-!?" A dry thud was heard as the girl fell unconscious because of Rander’s magic, or so it looked, the strength of the hate coming from the people alone being enough to override his performance as the crowd began to arm themselves with whatever they could get at hand’s reach.

If the Song Knight’s didn’t had some quick thinking, they would soon have a riot on their hands. Needless to say this was the worst possible outcome, but… what will they do?
I'll begin writing a post now, in no later than 2 or 3 hours it shall be done. Know that you all escaped the despair route... for now.

What have you thought of the Grand climax, huh? If you want we can settle the fight with Asgard on a collab, after your characters' next reaction.

God’s Shattering

The battle rages on!!

Emilia drummed her fingers against the arm of her throne, she was getting tired of this farce, this whole tournament wasn’t even fun anymore to the Fallen Princess. “Why has no one died yet? This isn’t a game of tag.” As the stadium began to rumble and crack under Tegonay’s massive power, Emilia sighed. It was too good up to now, but the derelict sandstone structure would hardy survive for long enough to see the final’s after the Black Knight had all but pulverized its foundations. Thereby the Fallen Princess got back to her feet and gestured for the masses to silence themselves, Emilia’s cold imperial aura being enough to chill even the last of the fleeing brigands to the bone.

“My beloved people, for reasons beyond our control at the moment, the tournament must be brought to an end now, the sacrifice of blood in my father’s honor has been satisfactory already. In honor of you all, my brave gladiators, here’s your last challenge.” As Emilia gestured behind herself, none but Asgard rose from her feet and reached for the Red Relic, which morphed into the known shape of Vladimir, the Crimson Knight’s own tome. “As you can see, my dear Imperial dolls, the Red Relic has always been in front of your eyes. Asgard, no, my dear Eleonor, always had it, the Crimson Bloodstone. As my parting gift to those who wish to get such a fabulous prize, I say… Defeat Asgard and it shall be all yours.”

Emilia turned on her back and walked away slowly, laughing as loud as she could, “These fools, did they ever though I would give them a chance of winning? Fufufu…. Whahahahaha!” On her way out of the tribune Emilia crossed the gaze of the Jester and only ever sneered, “There, my promise has been upheld, you can have your knight back. For the time being I’ve got much more than I needed, both fun and…” With a swift move of her dexterous digits, Emilia revealed to the Jester the thing she was truly after, as ruby about the half the size of her clenched fist, shining as red as blood itself. And so, the Princess left for the shadows, to fulfill a dark purpose that only the Jester and Emilia were aware of.

Back at the center stage, Eleonor descended the stairs that connected the honor tribune with the arena floor, the leather bound volume in her hands eventually changing shapes to that of her executioner’s sword and Eleonor’s cold eyes glanced upon the five before her without even a hint of compassion on them. This was going to be tough battle to everyone there, getting out alive being the hardest of all tasks.

Vassagus, who had recovered from Fei’s assault on time to escape from Letty overly dramatic spell, merely at the cost of an arm, used the confusion to bail out amidst a colossal black fire ball that would force all of the present to the defensive lest they become toast. The Mercenary Sorcerer knew all too well when he had been set-up and this was one such case. Living to fight another day being the only law binding Vassagus, there was no reason for him to stay. When the Gehenna flames receded, he was no more to be see, at least for now…

Tegonay on the other hand took advantage of Jessi’s confusion and having no need to fear the flames, kicked the spearman towards the fire before spinning on place and launching an assault on Asgard, doing his usual overhead smash move. “Crimson Knight Asgard, under command of Lord Yggdrasil, Leader of the Knights of Ragnarok, you are to be executed for treason. Prepare yourse- !?” Before Tegonay could finish his charge and collide with Asgard, a blade of pure blood bisected the black armor, right around the waistline where Jessi concluded was indeed the best place to hard a fully plated warrior. “How… come you be this power… ful? Is that the true… meaning of the power the Knights of Ragnarok wiel-?” Tegonay’s voice grew weaker and weaker until it was little but a whisper with the two halves of the Black Knight laying on the floor of the arena, limp and lifeless a moment after.

Asgard, The Crimson Knight

"So, it has finally come to this, Fei. The day when we cross blades with each other? I hope you do me proud and come with all you have, my beloved daughter." Asgard said, dismissing Tegonay as a threat while eyeing the others. "You, Jessi, has proven to be much more worthy than I thought, but this ends here. If you want to prove yourself to be worth of Fei's hand you must defeat me first, then you'll have my blessings. As for Letty, Asgard merely regarded her with contempt, otherwise ignoring the presence of the unknown person, if the Ice Witch dared make a suspicious move her fate wouldn't be all different from that of Tegonay.

As Asgard fell into a battle stance a hazy cloud of bloodied sand began to dance all around the arena, it looked like the Crimson Knight was really going to go through her threats. However her consciousness seemed to be in place, it was just a matter of Asgard's judgement being affect by whatever Emilia had done with her. The question is... will they be able to stop her?

Mikoto Kanzaki

"That's some bad news, Ruxy." Mikoto said with a grin upon Ruxen's reply, "The only one allowed to cut a deal here is me. If they try to slash my profit I'll have no option but break them."

As the peddler said so, she suddenly noticed the commotion regarding the hag looking woman and as Ruxen threw her backwards, Mikoto though it was her chance to make some gold, or silver, or whatever... "So, ma'am, you seem to have a bone to pick with Chenny Boy, huh?" Mikoto said as she circled the woman while riding her broom, a shameless smile ever present in her lips. "Is she one if the women you've... known, erm... Chenny Boy? I didn't though you was the type for these things, hehe."

Mikoto continued to circle the woman analyzing, before she said, "Anyway, ma'am you look a little beaten, if you want to lift you spirits, I have a Healing Balm made with rare herbs from the South. It's sure to bring you back to shape and it can be yours for four a small fee. So, what do you say?" Mikoto asked with an innocent smile on her face, still doing loops around the hag, barely out of her arm's reach.

@KoL
Did... Ok did Eclipse Princess just basically send a message to everyone saying 'Get Good scrubs" XD

Yup. She's fed up with their uselessness. What would be the a better way to say that?
@oKageo

Haven't I said anything about your character? Well, sorry for that then I've read the Cs a couple days ago while I was coming back from college and forgot to place my thoughts, sorry.

Anyway, I liked him, but being a former member of a Librarian party will for sure get him on the bad side of many Imperials. And on the Librarians bad side as well since he betrayed them. That's an interesting position, just take care for his IC actions to not bring him undue harm.

*Looks away, totally not expecting that to happen...*

You're good to go on my end as well.
@KoL

Then lucky for me Pikmin Eye is letting me use his PC. Yes we are friends IRL (I introduced him to the site), no he is not an alt. If he was a Profile pic would already be up (will actually be helping him with that soon).

We've decided to give you the benefit of doubt on this one, despite the less than friendly tone you used.

Nevertheless, mind that allowed or not allowed, if you make it a habit of using two characters, I'll veto it. Everyone has the right to one character right now, that's in the rules as well.
@Zardoric

PS: Remember the no-auto hitting rule. You initiate an action, but I'll reply accordingly. Don't automatically assume your move/plan will go as you think, otherwise you might have to edit your posts when I declare them void.

It's the same to everyone, BTW. If it's small meaningless cannon fodder and nameless NPCs, you can do whatever you wish, but don't go auto hitting important targets, that's one of the things I hate the most as a GM (people who don't follow the rules).

In doubt, always ask first.

See ya.
