When I think about this, I guess you are right.

@KoL I do have a question, the goal of the thread is high powered characters clashing in battles, right? I haven't been working counter to some other goal I wasn't aware of?

That's just about half of it. The constant attempts to subvert the fact that characters from opposing factions should not mingle together (not like this and, certainly, not now), as well as all sorts of complaints about this or that character being useless for reason x or y, despite the fact that we impose about no restriction on character creation, thus whoever is weak, is so by their own choice, voiding their rights to complain about being "useless".

Those are my main points of discontentment.

@KoL Speaking of Meta-Breaking characters, I've had a concept bumping around in the back of my head of a demon who's built entirely around corrupting machina and using them, aka, the sort of stuff that went down on the Elicitor in Round 1. Would that be too irritatingly meta breaking?

Yeah, especially when it comes to Machina technology being ripped off and used by 3rd parties. Since we barred Zac from doing it, because this gimmick is getting annoying, I don't see why a demon would be allowed that,especially when we already have Balrog.

Your character is good with me. I'm growing quickly bored with this deluge of cross-faction/meta breaking characters, but powerwise she's ok and her story is fair as well. I can't really deny her just because of my own personal opinions.

Don't worry, I'm just filled with cynicism and angst because, apparently, the sole objective of a few players here is turning everything we did upside down with characters that have opinions and behavior that makes absolutely no sense in character. As well as the inability of dealing with those people in a satisfactory way for both parties (that doesn't involve strangling), despite having tried to do so for as long as this RP has been up.

Hopefully, the next set of battles will set some of these things straight.

@Mega Birb There'll only be one faction present. People who value and preserve innocent life above all else. They simply align with different people to achieve that goal.

Out of Bonesword, Syphax, Omega, Miyu, and Dora, the only person I'm not sure about having that as a goal is Dora. And she's already established being a drink-bro.

Oh, you can do that all you want, just don't let near omniscient characters like the leaders find out about that, because this is straight out betrayal. To mingle with the enemy and not be fighting.

If this keeps happening, you can expect that, sooner or later, your characters will get punished for it.

Yeah you're right. I had glossed over that Deva exists and was involved with Juno.

But by every stretch, she's the strongest combatant in the setting as of current. There are only like two people that can put up a fight with her excluding Deva, and the other is Bonesword purely because of the Angels not knowing his niche in Undeath.

PS:

Last time I checked, Syphax's interests were to restore and protect the harpy people (which he can do just fine as long as he asks Hohenheim for that), who are part of the Heavens population. This goes completely against the idea of aligning with the other factions, since the Demons already screwed them once and you can be sure that Eos wouldn't have done much different from Rufus did at the past our of what Deva would do if they were considered rebels under the principle of guilty by association, in case Syphax joins the "Friendship Brigade"and is branded as a betrayer.

I don't see why he would join with the other factions without OOC reasons involved. Especially when, the survival of his whole race can be used as leverage against him.

Sorry for that, that would be something that Taura would likely comment on. However, I'm being unable to follow the paying of this RP, just as I thought would be the case.

At the moment, I'm absolutely lost about what is happening or not.

The alienation is making me consider dropping this, but I'm still giving it a chance for a few more days, like @liferusher asked me to.
