This seems like a quaint little idea. I like it.
And that gas is being accounted for, you'll notice things happening the longer he's exposed to it. Though considering he got melted by the Leviathan that one time, this is like vinegar to him.

@floodtalon@Lmpkio@KoL@TheWindel

That last declaration doesn't sit well with me, y'know? Considering that Victoire's roses were supposed to have an amplified power on him. You are pretty much dismissing her supposed advantage over Machina characters without any good explanation.
<Snipped quote by KoL>

They did didn't they? Alright maybe I'll just have him ignore them and continue the fight with Tatiana.

If it comes to that I will. Just been really looking forward to the Graf V Balrog fight so I'd hate to end that prematurely.

As for the OOC, as much as we shit post, there is also important information I don't want to miss out on.

Well, the thing is that you are more or less hoping for a fight that you either won't have or will not be as interesting as you'd want. Cypher said here on the OOC that he's not inspired:

Trying to find some inspiration for it. Honestly, not finding a lot. Though this little stint with the Hunger Game sim has given me something to sleep on.

Anyways if anyone wants to try it themselves, here's a link. Each link will result in the same ending, so if you want to see the same contestants but different results then all you need to do is "Edit Cast" and then "Submit", which will generate a new code even if you didn't change anything.

I'm going to bed, goodnight.

We may end up stuck here for a lot of time waiting for said inspiration to come, if you consider how long ago was Cypher's last post.
@The 42nd Gecko

Planing out what Omega should do since demons have invaded the duel.

Waiting on @Lucius Cypher for Balrog.

And, most of all, trying and failing to keep up with the OOC.

Well, the demons came and went out before he could even react, it seems. The only problem left behind was Victoire's roses, which should be deadly to Omega, given that they are magical in nature. Also, the cloud should be blocking his sight at longer ranges. This is likely going to be an advantage for @Flamelord Tatiana, supposing that she survives the poison long enough to down Omega.

As For Balrog, you can always free him by throwing Graf away, and let he be killed by the roses, which shouldn't take too long given that he's a Machina. Then, find someone else to engage, like Marquis or Zac, or Bonesword, who should all be kind of within his range, since the roses don't hinder other demons, only the fog. Not that I think that fog is a problem for Balrog.

For the last statement? Why do you even care?
@Mega Birb

By the way, I feel obliged to remember you that Victoire's attacks are supposed to be way more hurtful to the Machina, Marquis can't really just shrug the demon corruption like this.
@KoL

Oh, and your second worst nightmare came true.

I see that you are taking great pleasure in torturing me like that, aren't you?
Lance Corporal Eris Reinhardt
Fort Breda ❖ Next Morning

Well, it seemed like Eris had lost her chance to get settled with most of the rest of the Squad after her transfer. Hopefully, she would be able to do that today. Though, she was initially startled by the thought that they wold have to use a single dormitory for the whole of the Squad, men and women alike. That said, it wasn't a very improper idea when you think about the fact that they would have to eventually sleep beside one another while in the battlefield. As long as the regulations were respected, there was no need to be overly prudish.

On the following morning, Eris was one of the first to wake up, mainly because she was used to doing so, like most people who live in the countryside. Also, there was the fact that she didn't have any tiredness to shake off. As such, she was geared and ready to... PT? (well, looks like that was the best way for the Command to reward a Squad that just came back from combat without making them feel too much at home, huh?). Either way, she was ready and standing at attention besides the others as soon as the Sergeant called.

One thing that Eris couldn't help but notice, as she spared a moment to glance around those already lined, was how many women were part of Squad 04. "At least I'm not going to be alone in a male dominated Squad," Eris thought, letting out suppressed sigh of relief. For once she though what would be if she got her promotion to Lieutenant a few years ago? But then, what would happen when people found out that she was of Imperial origins? "It's no use thinking about those issues. Just calm yourself and do what you are told as long as you don't stick out too much, people won't be pointing fingers at you, Eris..." the silver-haired woman thought, steeling her stance and glancing forward. Even then, the way she held her equipment close to her, made it quite clear how nervous Eris was.

@Lonewolf685, @KoL

Your worst nightmare has come true.

Gah!
I'll see about posting today or tomorrow. That said, we should begin to wrap up this segment and move the story forward.
@KoL
Where's that dice roller you break out for chance-based things? Can't decide how agile Marquis should be.

Erm, on the Guild's home page. There's a drawing of some dice, you can't really miss it.
