If you can read that. Then as long as I have time. I'm happy to Roleplay with you. I'm okay with my French, but don't expect a Masters Thesis level of French from me.

I'm also cool with Roleplaying in English though!

Amanda could only pat Micheal at the back at a job well done. "I didn't expect anything less from the report of yourself, you can take a rest while Faye and Morgana figured out the inner workings of this portal." She complimented, before quickly shifting her attention to the Scientist and Faye Woman, both of them busy figuring out the ins and outs of the portal and how they're supposed to track it's origins. Morgana's explanation on the portal's workings were fascinating and deeply enriching, apparently whoever designed this has to take a very large field of expertise, might very well indicate someone with very high skill in magic or someone very long lived. That narrows down the possibility pool a bit.

The most interesting fact is that Morgana mentions this millennium, and that immediately piqued the interest of Amanda. Like, not from the 1000s? Hmm, that could only mean that this person is either long lived or has a dedicated background in ancient/ classical era magic, not a very large field of study as far as she knows, that narrows it down even further. Faye's attempt at ascribing the point of origin for the portal definitely alerted her. "Right right. What map do you want? Germany? Europe? Worldwide? I can project a screen at the wall nearby if you want it." Amanda offered, now clearly giddy at the progress of this investigation.

She has the transport manifest, she saved a child's life, and now she's about to probably find out the portal's origin point. Oh, so many possibilities on the first day! "Hey uhh, Pihtokahanapiwiyin? Can you summon Ross for me? I'm going to show Faye the map and then I think we can wrap up this site. There's another site that I want to investigate immediately after this."

She first tied her horse up to a nearby tree, and grabbed her wrapped Naginata as well as her bag of coins, before quickly rejoining the porcine Mayor to the tavern. It wasn't the walk itself that was interesting to her, but more so the fact that the building for breakfast astounded her.

The tavern where the Buta-Ningen brought her to was a unique building, A mixture of thatched roofing, plaster, and stone. Assembled in such a manner that befits the western architecture she has seen arriving in Struq. It might seem typical for the inhabitants of this village, but Yoshina could only marvel at the small things during her travels. The great kings and the country's armies are impressive and all, but it is the customs and traditions of the land she visited that fascinated her the most. And it seems like the interior of the tavern is just as interesting as the outside part.

"Omoshiroi." She said quietly. Marveling at the raucous atmosphere and general liveliness of the tavern, the most interesting part of everything though, was the glasses that she saw people drinking out of. Mostly some form fo ale but some of them are drinking water from the glass. She has never seen a clearer glass, nearly completely translucent. Yoshina was a bit overwhelmed by the sights, sounds and smells of the tavern, and she quietly took a seat at a corner of the tavern. Already putting her Polearm right next to her. She motions the Buta-Ningen to accompany her. "Oi! Over here!"

"Now, let's see. Croogal Eggs and Zaft Soup right?" She asked. Curious what the tavern has to offer her in terms of food. "I guess I'll defer judgement to you." She said, waiting patiently for the Buta-Ningen to order some stuff. In the meanwhile, she could only stare as some chaos was unfolding between a Tanuki-Onna and a Western Yosei by the looks of it, the Yosei offering the Tanuki some beer and she reluctantly calming down. She dozed off when the Tanuki-Onna was warning them about some dragon or something. But with the Red Haired woman seemingly joining in the fun in teasing her, she could only stare and see the commotion draw down. And being visibly interested in the commotion.

She slowly took off from her seat, leaving the Buta-Ningen for a while before approaching the trio of the Elf, Raccoon and Dragon-Lady. "Hey uhh." She introduced herself, bowing out of respect. "I've got a seat in the corner where you can perhaps calm down and enjoy some breakfast for the day? I think the Tanuki-Onna here might need it the most." She finished, gesturing at the Raccoon.

Yoshina was a little bit embarrassed the moment the Buta-Ningen was mispronouncing that Sangakuan word she uttered. It's pretty common for her, strangely, to still speak Sangakuan even when she was not within her own kin, perhaps a cultural imprint from her times still living there.

"Forgive me. Oneigaishimasu is not a phrase you should know. It translates to Please in my language, and while I may not know what a croogal egg or a zaft soup is. I would be more than happy to join the group and try to get some breakfast in this town. It has been a long, long journey for me and I would like some hearty meal." She said, finishing her sentence with a smile to everyone.

Just as she was eyeing the group though, she noticed that accompanying the Buta-Ningen was a woman with a similar hair color to her and... a most interesting creature indeed. She didn't expect Yokai to be present in these lands as well, and it seems that this Yokai was pretty friendly and decent too. Not unusual by itself (most of the army her family used to fight the puppet Emperor and Tianguo troops consisted of Yokai themselves), but she expected the more westerly she got, the less Yokai there to be. At least she hasn't seen any Oni or Tengu though, pretty sure they're Sangaku specific.

"You, umm. Moth person." She said, looking intently at her. "Are you... nevermind, I'm just reminded of some inhabitants from my lands just by your appearance alone. I never encountered Futakichi-Onna outside Sangaku before, It's nice meeting you." Yoshina finished, oustretching her hand in greetings. "I'm Yoshina Shizue. And you are?"

It's only been a couple of weeks since Yoshina landed on this Archduchy, or at least that's what the locals calls this land. She arrived on the great city of Struq just a while back, and she has been enamored by the new sights and sounds of that great port city. A good deal of wares, wines, and other fineries being traded back and forth, some sights familiar to her, while some completely foreign. She has seen how different people build their lodgements and other places, but none quite as unique as the people of Struq and this Archduchy.

It's almost as if she has entered another different world, with buildings arranged out of plaster, wood and hay all around her, and a people wearing cloths just like in her own land, but in an arrangement that seems completely different, it reminds her of her own homeland of Sangaku to an extent.

Still, she is not interested in Struq for the moment, despite the oohing and aahing of the local populace the moment they heard someone from the Mist Isles have come to their shores, she quickly left the city and travelled with her trusty steed towards the Archducal countryside. Her journey of peace has a particular focus on rural and underserved areas, and just as she has done in the lands of many countries in her past, she will do so in this land as well.

And so she finally arrived in this sleepy village. Nothing more than a stopover in her grand journey, but nonetheless she thinks that this will be the place where she will reside in this land. A sort of base of operations for her grand journey of spreading and ensuring peace.

She stopped by the town's entrance, where already an assembly of other species, including a very well dressed buta-ningen was present, talking about some stuff. So, with her coat still on, she unfurled her coat, dismounted from her steed, slowly brought herself towards the group, and bowed respectfully.

"Greetings. Forgive my intrusion to your lovely conversation, but I would like some directions if you would be so kind. I am currently looking for an inn, and some breakfast this small village has to offer. Onegaishimasu."

She hoped that she has made a good enough impression. If there's one thing she learned about her travels, is that things can unravel very quickly from cultural misunderstandings, she was once captured and put on display, in bondage mind you, at a local town square for slighting a local noble when she didn't even know that she was slighting him in the first place. A rather humiliating and bizarre punishment for a Princess like her, she has no desire of enduring such punishments yet again. One public humiliation is more than enough for her.
I mean...

Please add details in the OOC post or something, I have to work with something here...
DEFINITELY still interested. Pls post an official thread. I'll be all over it with Japanese JK goodness :D
I think I need to add this, but there are still 3 more openings in the RP. If anyone's interested in playing a character, you're free to post up to 2 characters you want to play.

Amanda quickly went downwards to the hallway, quickly inspecting every door until she met both Ross and Astfridur. Both of them apparently busy collecting evidence. Her rapid descent and appearance to the duo startled Ross and Astfridur both, and she quickly scanned whatever intelligence they managed to gather. She was very impressed by all the evidence, but not before she managed to gather one, very important piece. "Hey, what's that clipboard doing there?" She asked, immediately grabbing it and as if a sudden light bulb turn on in her brain. Her eyes widened and she smiled at the dragon.

"Ross..." She said, pointing the clipboard to him. "This is a manifest indicating all their recent deliveries in 30 days. Holy crap, this could change the investigation!" She said, very much in a giddy tone. "I think that I'm going to scan this first, put it in my memory banks and hand it over to you. Hmmm... Oh snap! It also looks like there's a site where deliveries are happening just outside of Frankfurt. Look!" She said, pointing the detail towards the Dragon. "I've scanned it, so you can hold this. But I have, have to inform this to the rest of the group. You uhh, hang out with Astfridur for a while okay? I've got someone coming that I need to talk to. Some ghost business upstairs."

She quickly went upstairs. Eager to showcase her newest finding, but while the trio of Morgana, Faye and Micheal was busy doing their investigation on the potential origins of the portal. Amanda suddenly crashed into something rather fleshy and bouncy. Both of them fell into their knees and Amanda could only shake her head. "Ow, sorry about that."

"Oh, no worries Amanda."

"Wait. Madeleine?"

She rapidly shook her head and was happy by her sight. "Oh yeah! That exorcism, yeah yeah. Let me bring you to the ghost girl." She outstretched her hand, Madeleine more than happy to grab it before they both quickly went towards the portal site. Where the girl was waiting. The moment Madeleine saw the girl floating there, she sighed and Amanda could visibly see sadness in her eyes. "Poor girl." She said. "She needs to go to the afterlife, just let me prepare my things and we'll do it right here."

The demon woman only nodded towards Morgana. "Don't worry, this ritual is self contained, whatever spell you're casting on that portal won't be affected by the exorcism. Let me just... there we go!"

The demon was busy bringing a suitcase where her exorcism gear was present, and opening it. It revealed a golden chalice and a bottle of wine. "This is a demonic ritual, so please do stand back." She said to everyone, pouring into the chalice. The demoness started chanting. "Death imparts on us all, the weak, the strong, the man, the woman, and every living creature on this earth. Death shall come knocking on everyone's door, the door of the king, the noble, or the villein, it's sound exact, it's force equal. Death, shall become the great equalizer."

She repeated that chant three times. Runic circles appearing below her and glowing visible red before she then poured the wine straight below her. The moment the wine touches the rune covered ground, Madeleine was gone, covered by a great red mist. And once the mist has dissipated. A door, with a stylized image of the Grim Reaper on both it's great partings appeared to everyone.

And it opened, revealing a smoky Madeleine. As if she's been freshly baked from an oven, the smell of charcoal and ash pungent all across her. The interiors of the door she opened is seemingly black, with nothing being able to see what's inside of it. "To anyone who is living, please don't go beyond that door. You will be considered legally dead and it'll take a ton of paperwork from your family members and yourself to get back to the world of the living. In case you're wondering, this is a portal to underworld, not hell mind you, but the underworld. My master created this ritual for any wandering spirits to go back to the underworld. So yeah, don't go inside."

"Now come little girl. I believe meeting your parents one last time is a fitting end for your little wanderings isn't it?" She said, outstretching her hand towards the ghost.
