Wow, that had to be the quickest set of rolls and randomization's that we have come across so far when it comes to seeing if anyone gets injured, anyone dies or really anything else for that matter. Lady Luck has decided to be a Lady so far this morning and well, things seem to be swinging your way for the moment. Savor it because as we learned yesterday no one is safe - not even the beloved. Maybe that is why the storm set in when it did, it just knew. I wish it would have warned us! Anywho.... Enough of the world rambles.

The rain in your area seems to be letting up and even though I tried to stack the deck against you Lady Luck was a Lady and decided to let the rain lessen for the time. Now, does that mean tornado later or that it will actually stop raining? Who knows, my magic eight ball isn't telling me anything but "try again later" - So, we have rain and you manage to get away scott free and leave the Walkers in the dust. Enjoy this round of relief and soak in the family reunion.

You four are now in your little moving family reunion vehicle and besides a little bruising on one of you are doing fine. So move it.

I don't know what it is with Lady Luck today but honestly I think she is being too nice. Maybe that's just because I am still ticked about yesterday and want to see you all suffer. Nah, I'm not like that, honestly. ~hides her horns beneath her halo~ Anywho, another round of things going well. No one dies, no one is injured, hand off went smooth, the car is ahead of the walkers now. I can't get over it! So get in that car and haul butt!

Oh wait, not everything is going smoothly. Nothing huge but where the storm let up a bit for group two, it is getting a little worse for you. Nothing huge but you may not want to stick around. Hell, there is still a hoard of walkers you might want to get away from. So get out of there while Lady Luck is being nice. She may not keep this up long.

Premise

When you are young, you want to spread your wings to fly and fly you have; all the way to India! The land of ancient enchantment, mystery and magic. The colors, the sounds, the people; it all has drawn you in and you have opted to leave wherever you were and whatever you were doing to take an extended trip and set up residence in a long term hotel in the heart of India.

You go to school, you work, you party - you do it all or nothing at all as you just watch the sun set on this majestic land and take a breather. You have been in India anywhere from the last three to six months having the time of your life. You are set up in the Best Exotic Hotel, a rather run down but being renovated long term facility. Some days the power works, some days it doesn't. Don't count on on your net service being active at all hours and sometimes the water pipes decide to say "Screw you, you're gonna stink today," but hey, you get through it.

You are one of many young adults shacked up here at the Best Exotic. Most of the rooms are single occupancy but there are a few doubles. Doesn't really matter though, the lay out for the hotel is open with a large courtyard in the center and plenty of places of relax. You all have gotten a chance to get to know each other; some only on the surface, others on a much deeper level. Question is, what is going to happen next?

Well, only you as the guest know that and honestly, do you even know what you'll do next? Power cuts, weather, people all mix together to create some wonderful times but there are also storms on the horizon. So how will you all fare? Stick it out and grow closer? Or are some just going to say - Yeah, I'm ready to get back to regular AC and Twitter updates? Let's find out.

The Hotel: Three floors, open floor plan, various patios and verandas, a main court yard. Breakfast(7-10AM) and dinner(5-9pm) are served by the hotel in the dinning room - No Room Service Available. Small refrigerator provided in each room, must personally stock.

All of the rooms on this floor are single occupancy and are fully completed. You have window ac units, doors that lock, windows in place, carpets on the ground. You are good to go and there is no needing to climb stairs to get to your room after a night of partying.

Second Floor

This floors rooms are all single occupancy like on the first floor but hey, you are missing a luxury or two, maybe three. You have doors but sometimes the locks don't work, ac units are there but they aren't hooked up yet, thank god for the fans that work most of the time. Some places need new carpets but hey the water pipes work, don't they?

Third Floor

All the rooms on this floor are double occupancy and each room has two people living in it. These are the more pricey rooms but hey, you have someone to half the rent with right? Some hold couples, some just hold people who don't mind another persons mess. These rooms are larger, more open and while the doors work and lock the windows haven't been put in yet. Who cares right? You're on the top floor, you have a view of everything around you and well, we have curtains for a reason don't we?

*Rules are enforced - they may seem strict and harsh but I am a fair Gm as long as communication remains open and honest and people do no take advantage.

  What To Expect From Your GM

  Greetings and salutations, I figured it was prudent to let you know a little about your GM and what you can expect. I have been at this RP business a long time, decades. So I have a pretty well worked out way of how I run things and what I expect in an RP. I am a bit picky but that only comes from years of dealing with many different things when it comes to RP.
  
  First, you should know that I am serious about Rp even though it is a hobby. I don't put up with B.S., trolls, flakers, and so forth. I will kick someone from an Rp if need be but it is a rare thing. (Twice now in all my time as a Gm.)
  
  Secondly, I do expect the rules I put forth to be followed - all of them. I expect a certain level, a high level, of respect and courtesy to be shown to myself and to your other Rpers at all times. If you wonder what that is, read my Guide To Rp Etiquette - which you should have by now since it is part of my rules.
  
  Thirdly, my biggest pet peeve has always been and will always be those that do not follow posting rules set forth in RP. To not to do so is to be disrespectful to me and your fellow Rpers. I enforce posting rules more strictly than any other rules. To break those is a great sin and you shall be punished.
  
  Next, while all of these rules may seem a bit much and I may come off as a hardass, I am actually a very laid back person and am willing to work with Rpers on most anything. As long as the lines of communication remain open and honest, I will bend over backwards for my Rpers when I Gm.
  
  I do check posting habits and log ins. When you join an Rp of mine I add you to my friends list. This will show me the last time you logged in, even if you are set to hidden. So if you lie about logging in or being gone, I will know.
  
  I am a firm believer of if you have time to spam and lurk you have time to post. It is all about managing your time wisely. Though most here on the forum are younger, I treat all Rpers as adults; with that comes personal responsibility. If you join you will be held to the same standards I hold my self to. I will refuse to let people join an Rp of mine that have given me issues in the past.
  
  If you are new to Rp or still learning, I am more than happy to help you to become a better Rper. That includes things on teaching how to prep posts before it is your turn to post, how to do colabs, how to create and stick to your characters, how to improve posts, how to find inspiration, how to get a post done when it needs to even if you have no inspiration and so forth.
  
  I like to get to know my rpers. What do you do, what your schedules are like, who you are. It helps me better understand my Rpers and how to better help them along the way and/or make their Rping experience more enjoyable.
  
  Now that you know this, please make sure to use it as part of your consideration for joining the Rp. I know what I have said will lead many to not join but I assure you those that do will be taken on a wild ride of twists, turns, unexpected events, laughs until your cheeks hurt and many feels!

Instructions On Relation Sheets:

Yes, I know it is odd not to have a predone Couple tag for a relation sheet - that will be added in later but I want to keep from any couples being already put together before this RP starts. As much fun as it is to "ship" characters I have seen it be the downfall to some pretty amazing stories lines that could have been possible and much more real. Sure, ship away in OOC, place bets on who you think will end up with who but as far as the IC itself goes - let it happen naturally and over time. (Seriously, don't let there suddenly be 4 couples at the end of day one, lol) Let's enjoy this. Remember the majority of the characters have only been there like three to six months, they are from all over the world, there are language barriers, culture barriers, etc. Play to that.
