⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Congrats TWD Peeps!!

Two Years + Strong Today!!! This Rp has reached a huge milestone and not only that, it is a rather big victory for me. You see when I put up the interest check for this RP I got a lot of nay saying, even some from my closest. I heard a lot of the "There are plenty of TWD Rps out there, this will just fail like the rest of them." Not to mention the back lash from the rules. You see this was the first Rp I started in with the "Lady A Evil GM Overlord Rules". So needless to say it was not very well received in the beginning by some. My PM box became a "How dare you" box to put it nicely.

That was two years ago and while we have had many people come and many leave, some get kicked, and even one get bear loved to death... We are still trucking and the Rp just keeps getting better and better as each post goes up. Not to mention it paving the way for other Rps and being the test subject of many Gming tools used today. So congrats to each and every one of us for making this RP the success it has been.

And to all the naysayers... Well...

Evelina Lucas

Location: Ville au Camp - Main House (Sitting Room -> Front Porch -> Gallery) -> Heading Towards The Oak Tree
Skills: Administration, Diplomacy, Memory Training, History

It was not surprising to The Dice that the reactions were wide and varied. It wasn't every day that you were able to witness someone change their entire identity as Gilbert just had. Even the Emendators were not privilege to it often. Most skills were rarely used and when they were used, they were done with great caution. The only abilities that seemed to be of constant use was The Dice and The Cards. Those were ones that neither Evelina or Nancy could turn off. Evelina had tried at one point. Tried to resist the tickle in the back of her mind. Refusing to roll the dice knowing what could happen when she did. Yet every minute that had passed it became worse. Every second that ticked by it got worse. Pain began to set in. The woman had tried everything she could to take her mind off of it but it was of no use.

It had only been a total of three hours before she was ready to claw her brain out of her skull and gave in. The memory alone brought a twitch to her left eye. She would never deny the call again. One couldn't avoid the inevitable. They could only delay it a short time and in the end, a few moments meant nothing in the grand scheme of existence. "Yes, would not do well to do such abilities too often but we will get into that when we reconvene. And your questions will be answered then," Evelina said as she glanced around.

Turning she locked eyes with Gilbert for a moment. "Βεβαιωθείτε ότι δεν πάτε να εξηγήσετε τίποτα, δεν θέλω να επαναλαμβάνω τον εαυτό μου μόλις τελειώσετε μαζί τους. Ακριβώς η συνήθης περιοδεία θα είναι αρκετή και οι ερωτήσεις για τους λόγους. Δεξιότητες, σκοπός, και ούτω καθεξής θα μείνουν στον εαυτό μου σήμερα." The woman did know how to harp on a point. This wasn't the first time they had welcomed new comers to their family but every time they did Evelina went over everything, even with the Emendators, as if it was the first time they had ever done this. It was just how she was. A bit anal but she did keep things running so that others didn't have to, yet any of the Emendators were more than able to do the job she took it on herself and didn't split up the duties. Everyone had a job, everything had a place. Organization was key to the calmness on the grounds.

Looking over at Faith, Evelina picked up her pipe and stepped over to the woman. "To quote the team of Jagger and Richards.... 'You can't always get what you want'. You will be able to ask your questions when the time is right and you will get the answers that are provided on the terms that are already decided. Once that is complete you will be given a choice. Remain or leave." Turning on heels she began to step out of the door she had originally entered at the front of the house. Yet she stopped and turned sharply around before continuing. "And by leave I do mean that your second life ends and you go to meet whatever god you believe in," she added. As blunt as her words were, her voice wasn't cruel as she spoke. In fact it was oddly calm and as even as when she was speaking earlier. She had just wanted to make things perfectly clear; that she was not about to deviate from her schedule just because some younglings hadn't learned patience.

Pulling out her watch she checked the time. "I will meet you all in the Kitchen house in twenty minutes. Gilbert, do make this front of the ground tour a quick one," she said as she stepped over to Gilbert and looked out over the front of the grounds. Giving him a slight nod she stepped off the porch and made her way towards the gallery. Once there she turned left, went down it and passed both Alicia and Barts room before exiting the back of the house and heading towards the Oak Tree, the Kitchen House lay just on the other side.

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: Ville au Camp - Pedestrian Corridor
Skills: Soft Martial Arts

It wasn't that Alicia didn't enjoy her time at Ville au Camp. The grounds were beautiful and this time of year the weather was great. The Emendators had chosen the day well. It wasn't hot, it wasn't too cold. It was one of those rare southern days that didn't have tornadoes or 99% humidity hanging in the air and making you wish you were in a sauna because it would have been easier to breath in. No, it was the end of October. The colors were changing on the trees, the wind was blowing just enough to put the faintest chill in the air. The only clouds in the sky were just enough to keep the sun from being blinding. It was probably the best day of the year. And Alicia thought it sucked.

Granted it could have been worse but she had been born in San Antonio in the middle of July. Spent her summers in Mexico with family. She was used to 110% humidity (Yes, it is possible) and 115F weather. She was used to dry oven heat and heat where it felt like you were boiling. So this wasn't exactly her idea of a good time. It was pleasant but what she would have given to have an ice cold cerveza to chill her insides as her skin was slick with sweat after running for an hour and putting her cousin to shame on the futbol field. (Or her cousin kicking her ass, either way worked.)

Yet there was nothing to be done about it, that is except to fill ones time. Grinning to herself she went through her practiced motions of some of the forms that Gilbert had shown her. While she had her two reborn skills, she was learning others. This was what Gilbert had found fit her best. It was a surprise to her but she went with it. The man could probably come up with twenty five ways to kill her with his thumb. Yet that didn't frighten her. Again, that was Evelinas job it seemed. That woman was just... There wasn't a word for it.

Taking a breath as she finished one of the forms she looked around. It seemed the coast was clear. Minus a few peacocks roaming the area. A grin formed on her lips as she skipped towards the Mill. Hopefully she would have just enough time to finish up what she needed to do and then get a good seat for the show. As she walked she pulled her hair back and put it up in a pony tail, revealing the detailed sugarskull tattoo at the base of her skull. She had wanted to get more but when in the time loop it made it pointless. Maybe on her next mission? Could be a side trip. Maybe.

@rivaan @Morose @FantasyChic @Nallore @Sigil @ONL
October 4th, 1924 - 5:59 P.M. Local Time

Shepheards Hotel: Rosheen smiled and waited for Mosi to get situated once she returned. She didn't wait long though. It was but half a heart beat before they were peeling off the side walk and into the street. They were going to be cutting it close but Rosheen knew the city and she knew it well. Off the main street she kept cutting down various alleyways and side streets. Every so often warning Mosi if a hard turn was coming up. Clipping the curb she drove the motorcycle up to the front of the museum instead of making Mosi hoof it to the door form the road. Several people having to scurry out of the way as she did and yelling at her in various languages. Rosheen didn't seem to pay any of them any mind.

"Made it," she said motioning to her watch. They had one minute to spare. "Better rush girl," she laughed as she pulled the scarf from her head and let her red locks spill free finally. Inside at the front desk Akhmed was just about to lock the museum up for the night. There were still people working inside but the place was closing to tourists and visitors for the day.

Museum: Neema looked over towards Haakon and nodded. "Well I am sure you have done research in your time. Have something to write with?" she asked as she kept looking at the rows and rows of crates and artifacts as she walked. She didn't hear Lauren but that wasn't too surprising. The archives were the size of the museum and then some. It was a fully under ground warehouse. Not hearing someone was common. "I can draw some symbols for you to look for, as well as Arabic to reference. Should help," she said before finally looking over to him. She figured if he was a reporter he probably carried something to write with on him. (Remember, just as last time. Now, to find what you are looking for - call for rolls before you post - searching if your character actually is use skills to get boosts in your rolls - be as specific as you can or as board as you like - this will affect the rolls and modifiers.)

Vera

Location: Governorate (E/F 10) - (Permit Office)
Skills: Focus, Mental Stamina

Vera stood there quietly and let Nora speak her piece. She was rather impressed how the woman held herself. Not only that but how she was able to explain so much without going into the details about the brandings and the jewelry. It was probably a good thing she hadn't, two women coming in there demanding a permit was bad enough in this day and age. To have them spouting nonsense might have actually gotten them stoned to death. This wasn't Britain after all. Then again, maybe stoning was a step up from being committed. It was a toss of the coin at this point.

The man didn't seem very impressed and Vera had to wonder was that because he didn't understand any of the math that Nora was speaking about and just assumed neither did she. Or was it just that because it was coming from a woman he really didn't need to pay attention to it. Either way he wasn't having it. "Yes, yes. I am sure that is all wonderful but if you want a permit you will need to send in the Curator or his second. What you are presenting me just doesn't cut it," he said as he looked over at the clock and started to close his window.

This was enough, they had one minute to closing and Vera wasn't going to let him pull this. It was just rude. Stepping forward she shoved her clutch on the counter and blocked the mans window from being able to close. She didn't have strength, or brawn, or a man next to her right then. She didn't have feminine wiles. She had wits, and annoyance on her side. "You will give us that bloody permit or myself and Lady Kingston will be at your window from opening until closing, every day, until the plagues of Egypt return. We will camp out here as if it were a holiday in Brighton, sipping tea and swilling sherry if that permit isn't stamped before we leave this building this night."

Vera was shaking as she spoke, she was scared silly and didn't know what came over her but she had said her piece and a humph to follow it. The man must have taken it as nerves of steel and anger. Either way it didn't matter. He wanted them out of his office and out of the building. "Fine, what harm can you two do as it were. Cause any problems and it will be the museum that pays," he warned as he stamped the permit and slid it over. As soon as Vera grabbed it he shoved her purse out of the way and slammed his window shut.

World Narrative

Alright, each of Groups 1-3 have declared where they are headed. Two are currently headed for Arnco Mills, one for Moreland. As you can see below we have new maps! Including a very special Newnan Bugout Map! Please review the map, where your groups are on the maps, and so forth. The goal is to really put a move on it. Red dots mark individual walkers, blue is snow/ice in various depths and such.

I will update the maps at the end of the round to move your characters. Make sure when you are posting to use the street names, building names, and so forth as much as possible to make me knowing where you are easier. You are free to use google to bring up the map for your group and zoom in more, use that 3d street view shit. It is amazing for this. Will let you know what your character is seeing. If you want to know the buildings current condition that your character sees - drop me a line when you go for rolls.

Remember to use those skills! And really think about it when you do. Never know. Also, even if you can't come up with something, it doesn't mean your character wouldn't. Perception checks, random idea checks, holy shit math works here checks, and so forth can be called! Example: Lady A, drawing a blank, can you give me a random check on characters memory to see if anything pops to mind? Never know what LLA might trigger.

Groups 1-3: Talk to each other before you start your next post just so you have an idea of how to handle things. The day is dragging on, by the end of this round it will be about 4 p.m. Get as far as you can in this post. The more you collab this, the more rounds you do, the further you get, the better. I will take roll requests until the counter of this post turns over to 9, once it hits 9 no more. If you can get at least half way through the updated map for your group this round that would be fucking awesome!

Group 1: Remember you don't need rolls unless you are preforming an action or using a skill or want a random check. Ash will need driving rolls each round. Sigil if you would prefer I can do driving checks for the length of the map to start and just dish them out to you "per round" to move things forward.

Group 2/3: Get your checks, get a move on, someone find Ray a fucking peg leg and Jack a dance instructor. Move your asses!

Eden: Time for Eden. We are not on Case as of yet. Not fully. Ours will most likely be better handled in individual posts because of each going in different directions. So pay close attention to the maps and to my posts for Lola/Gavin/Thana for information and details. Get your skill checks, lets do this. Today we either die or live - more importantly we either succeed or fail. May the odds be in our favor... Someone sacrifice a village to LLA please.

Group 1:
Members: Niesha, Ash, Riley

Length: 10 days

Group 3:
Members: Ray, Amelia, Sam
Details:

Eden:
Members: Thana, Thalia, Alex, Gavin, Beatrice, Lola
Length: Normal counters - no collab - go from your last post.

EDEN

Location: Near Eden
Skills: Redneck Vehicles(Thana), Sniper Rifle (Gavin), Rifles(Gavin), Tank Operations (Lola), Land Navigation (Lola)

Thana took a turn and pulled the truck into a large parking lot area in front of a rather large building. It looked like it had been some sort of manufacturing building back in its day but there was no sign out front. Thana had gone off roading a bit to get them there, cutting across what had looked to be the back end of a golf course before she finally stopped. Oddly enough pulling up into a parking space and actually parking properly. It seemed the navigation skills of Alex had paid off and got them there without much issue. Taking the small bit she had asked for she popped it in her mouth and climbed out of the vehicle with her stuff and what others hand left in there before she had taken over driving.

"Fucking Aces, I'll have you ready to fire this baby in no time," Lola said as she kept driving down the road. The closer they got to their destination the less time she spent trying to hit everything in their path. Seemed that even though the woman seemed to be a crazy as a fruit bat and about as grounded as a Tasmanian Devil, she knew how to do combat. Part of that was not to stand out. Granted that was real damn hard in that thank of hers, especially the way she had it decked out but that didn't mean she had to make things even louder. At least not yet.

"Equipment check," she said as she adjusted her cap and climbed into the bed of the truck. Gavin had let boxes of shells, a .357 Sig, M1911, clips for both, shotgun shells. Decent stuff. "Who can use these?" she asked as she started laying out the three runs, clips, and shells. She had guns and ammo thanks to Newnan. She had no idea what Alexander and Thalia were packing right then. She wasn't surprised that Gavin had so much on him. The man had a love affair with weapons, granted most Texans did.

Flipping open one of the rifle cases Gavin got to work on making sure it was assembled and the scope was set properly. Loading one up, he moved on to the other. He hadn't touched a sniper rifle in sometime and now he had two to play with. He intended to make the most out of each shot. "Hopefullies theys be close to where they be needin' to be by now." Gavins voice was flat as he spoke. Finishing up the second one he shouldered one and then rested the other in his lap before shutting the cases and stacking them against the wall of the tank.

Seems James had left behind some weapons as well. Thana took the Axe. Why she had no idea but she took it nonetheless. Gavin had the other sniper system on him from what she remembered when he went over to the tank. She also took his game processing tools and a dark look came over her features for a brief moment before shaking it off. "Beretta 17, and a bow," she said as she set them next to the weapons she had laid out of Gavins.

Lola looked at Gavin and let out a whistle. That's some nice shit. Okay, up top Cowboy and get your look out on. We are pulling up to the waiting spot," Lola said as she started to pull the tank off the side of the road and into the woods a bit. Not fully mind you but enough to where they weren't sitting ducks in the middle of a street. There was a bridge coming up. Gavin nodded and climbed up and out of the tank. Time to do his job now that Lola had done part of hers.

Then the radio went off and Thana looked over at Alexander. "Relay ETA 20 minutes until in position," Thana said as she pulled out the map and looked over it. "We are here, this is where we are headed," she said pointing on the map so Alexander could see. Where they were headed was on the other other side of the front nine of holes, near the waters edge. They would have a lot of cover until they reached the parking lot of Edens main building that way, even if it meant they had to get in the water a bit to get passed their walls.

Gavin looked around from on top of the tank and braced the sniper rifle along the top. He had one in his hand and a back up rifle next to him. He wasn't going to get caught with his pants down. Looking through the scope he started along the water line and took in what he could see. "They's gots a wall on the bridge, ain't nothin' this machine can't takes out though Blaster," Gavin said as he spoke towards the portal that lead into the tank proper.

"Aces mate." Lola looked over towards Beatrice. "Alright girl, gonna get shit in order while you get their location," she said, climbing out of her seat and grabbing her very decorated army helmet. Putting it on she grinned as she moved over to a crate. "Ba, ba, ba, boom," she cackled. It had been far too long.

Update
Location: The Tower - 2nd Floor (you wish it was lingerie)
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Okay, since everyone is heading for the stairs, we all get to the stairs via the rolls. The map below shows us where everyone ended up before everyone had to stop. So you all are in your respective spots as of right now. You have 3 dead on the 2nd floor since Bob and the Bacon Twins are now dead. Kyras sword and bow are still on the ground back in the room everyone but Satilla just left. Satilla managed to bee line it up the stairs. She has no idea what is going on with Ash and the big bug. Last she saw was Kyras body getting flung across the room and Ash jumping the thing. (No one knows that Kyra is dead yet other than Satilla.)

Now before you try anything or to muscle your way through the crowd - just know if you are standing in the back there will be checks to see if you can jump in front of someone. Here is the update Rotation currently. Post in this order. (Thomas has come out of his time warp but it still feeling a bit loopy in the head currently.)

Satilla (Congrats, you were the one that got a Nat 20 on the rolls. Means you get to post first, lol.)

K, going to start wrapping up the cases and move things forward. Hopefully this round of cases and one more should get us to an update point and move things forward a bit. Fingers crossed peeps. Big shit coming soon. New cases are started, who ever is up next in the respective cases, I have started them in the hiders. Please start from there. Seven days again.

Case Name: Girls Day Part 3
Goal: Finish Up At The Spa
Location: Roberts Diamond Spa
Counter: 7 Days
Group: Mali, Zoie

Case Name: Trust Issues
Goal: Get To The Safe House
Location: Silver Miners Hot Wings -> Safe House
Counter: 7 Days
Group: Riley, Roy, Priya

Case Name: Is Someone Gonna Get Bazhooli'ed? Act 3
Goal: No Spoilers
Location: Justice Asylum
Counter: 7 Days
Group: Jaina, Risa

La Hacienda: Natasha looked over towards Cecily and nodded. "You're the interim Coroner, they'll most likely need your clearance for that. Doubt they'll take mine but I can get it picked up and stored for us if you can halt it," Natasha said as she pulled out her phone and showed her a contact. "Lincoln Roberts, security. Works at Justice Memorial currently, new transfer." Looking back up at Cecily she pursed her lips a bit. "I know he's new to town but I trust him. I better, I'm marrying the dork," she said as he taxi pulled up to them and the driver got out.

Turning her attention she asked the man to put their luggage in the trunk before climbing into the cab. It was best, in her mind, to get out of there before they really got into much more in the Compound. Not that she trusted the cab driver, she knew better being out of the country to easily trust anyone but she doubt he had run a background check on her. At least she hoped he hadn't. Scooting over she made room for Cecily as the driver finished loading up their stuff and waited for her to climb in. Soon as Cecily was situated, they would be able to leave and head for the airport. From there, they would have to rent a car and then make a break for the border.

Ludwig Zimmer

Location: Russian Tent City, Regent Park, London, England, Europe, Northern Hemisphere, Planet Earth
Skills: English, Observation, Mental Stamina, Unacknowledged Soulless/Countries, Ferret Handling

Little dolls, big dolls, many dolls. All lined up. Where they jumping on the bed? Would one fall down and bump their head. No, they nested, nesting together in a line, one fills the other and back again. All warm and the largest protects the smaller, the smaller protects the tiny, the tiny protects the tinier, until the smallest and most vulnerable is held within and nested within. So many barriers between it and harm. Generations upon generations stood around the youngest to ensure that nothing could harm it until it was the older, until it was stronger, until it could protect the newest to come along. His eyes blinked that rare moment of clarity and Ludwig spoke as from his pocket he picked a watch and a click to open it. Within held a sketch of a young man. "Not to help me. To help Dieter, my brother not my ferret," he said as his fingers slowly ran over the hand drawn image that was well worn within the silver beaten covering. "Nothing harms him now he lays surrounded by earth and wood but he was the outer doll once. He needs new dolls now, know I'm stronger and it's okay he is no longer the biggest doll of the family." The sanity that was half there slipped away as his eyes drifted from face to face, from picture to picture.

Tick tock, there was no mouse to run up the clock. Just the ferret which roamed and rummaged through the bag from time to time. Yet he was perched on his shoulder.

Tick tock, tick tock. Arms reaching trying to grab the time, to stop it in its place as it spun on the face and yet it never stopped. The time kept marching on even though time was only an illusion, lunch time doubly so. It was a good thing it was not lunch but perhaps it could be dinner time for he was hungry. His stomach was empty. He had beans but beans were not to be eaten, they were to be kissed. Kisses could wait, they had to wait. For what? The Graveolase that was what.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, he was late. He was late. "I'm late for a very important date," he said as his knee buckled and he looked once again like a rag doll about to drop before catching himself on imaginary strings held from the stars above. "Learn Circus later, many questions. I want to know what this Bazhooli is, sounds fascinating. Not as wondrous as the Bella but hardly any are. So dark, cannot wait to see her again. Quiet, still. Very still. Like death."

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. He closed the watch. It was time to move for he has things to do and to study and to learn and to teach.. Yes. Teach. That was something else. Later, not now. Now show. Time to show. He spun on his heels once, twice, thrice and then he moved towards the large tent that Vlad had mentioned. "Yes, this way. Smells, foods. Come Dieter, we show the greatest which we know and then they will stop saying I am mad. Yes, I will show them joy," he said as he clapped his hands together and rubbed them together before entering the main tent and glancing around. Spotting the Graveolase being seated he waved with all the life in him and smiled widely.

"Oh shit... The German is back..." a woman said as her lips pursed in her thick Caribbean accent as she took a seat. It was Christine Del'ataunt. The head of the West Indies representation, and Graveolase of such.

Millicent Wyndham

Location: Ladies Room, Heaton Hall, Heaton Park, Manchester, England
Skills: Class Knowledge (Peer), Court Ettiquette, House

What had happened to her? Where was she now? No, Millicent was not losing her mind as another obviously had so many miles away. It was more of an existential crisis right then. She knew logically exactly what had happened to her body and precisely where she stood at that moment. Yet the larger picture in a more metaphorical sense was a difficult thing for her to grasp. Miss Wyndham had always been daring, out spoken, solid in her presentation of herself to the world. While she had bowed from time to time to the wants of the ton she had never lost what made her what and who she was. To be assured she was rather cynical in nature she was still a caring person who strove for the best in herself and demanded it of others. Yet right then whatever was of that once vain and witty young woman seemed to be literally beaten out of her. It was difficult for her to wrap her own mind around it, feeling as if she was watching someone else taking over her body and her ways as her head turned towards the voice of another as she was spoken to.

She was trembling and she could barely nod her head as the woman before her offered to give her a hand. It was the first piece of kindness she had had since she was forced out of London. That may have occurred just the night before, but it felt like a lifetime ago. Her hands, shaking, held out what little make up she carried towards Colette. "Please... help..." she eventually managed to squeak out from her lips as she nearly dropped the small compact in her hand. Was she asking for help with her make up or more? It wasn't clear. What was clear as the tears spilled from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks was that she had been hurt in many ways. The make up was washing off with each tear that fell and the dark blue and greens were showing themselves from beneath the make up more and more.

It was apparent from the makeup as well as the clothing that she was trying to hide the damage. Her gloves rose higher on her arms that was fit for the season. The cut of her gown was less revealing. Her hair was let to be more free around her neck than pulled up to show the length of it. The colors she wore were more mute than the seasons latest fashions, even more muted than normal for her. Everything spoke of a woman that was trying to hide in the shadows and not draw attention to herself. To hide the pain and the wounds both on her skin and far below. Yet her eyes couldn't hide the utter desperation that was coursing through her veins right then nor would her body stop trembling as if she had been dropped into an icy lake and left to die. Death at that moment would have been a true release.

Jahosafat for once let that broad smile of his fall away as he took a quick step, coming in front of Dorothy and blocking her path before this could go any further. His shoulders squared a bit, his chin tilting down as he clasped his hands before him. He looked everything the physician right now about to deliver a hard diagnosis, even if he was dressed to the nines for a night out on the town in true Farraday style. Then he spoke, and while his words were as winded as they always were, the tone was different. This wasn't a moment he was taking lightly and he was making sure he was getting his point across. "That is a sister speaking, not a physician in charge of the health and well being of a crew. Nor are those the words of a second in command ensuring the gears of our rag tag bunch are oiled and not about to blow." He seriously doubted the woman was thinking straight an while he couldn't blame her, there was more that needed to be said even if she didn't want to hear it.

Anisa smirked a bit as she set down her drink and looked at Jackie. "That's simple. They do their job or I shove them out the air lock when we're in the black." Death was a powerful motivating factor. It seemed harsh and cold and perhaps it was but that was how Anisa ran her ship. Plus she wasn't going to say anything along the lines of this was half a new crew she didn't know yet, or that she had just lost her second, or that they were not up to their usual snuff, or that those that were members of her previous crew were like siblings and children to her that she protected and taught hard lessons to when she had to. No, death was as good of a reason as any.

"Now, your sisters personality could be chalked up to shock if it were not for the fact that from everything I have witnessed and observed of your younger half since our fair crews merged denotes this is typical and every day mental status for her. Nothing has changed, so this cannot be shock. That is unless she has been in shock this entire week and if that is the case, please do tell me Dr. Pender, why haven't you been treating her? Or referred her to me since you know as well as I do that we in the medical professions should never treat our own blood unless there is no other choice. It makes everything tainted from personal hope and denial."

Looking back over towards Foy, Anisa let out a laugh as she slapped the table and leaned forward. "That Feh Feh Pi Goh is your sister? That explains soooooo much. We are gonna have to have a talk later, she has amassed many debts in the Black, one with me." Oh this night was just getting better and better. Bouncin' Betty was Fuckin' Foys sister... This was too good. Picking up her chop sticks she gave a sideways glance over towards Harper and smirked a bit before she took a bite. She had drank a lot that evening and was feeling the effects of it. Granted she hadn't drunk near as much as she could handle. Many a night playing poker with Jackson and Atticus while drinking away had more than prepared her for a night on Whitefall downing spirits.

Stepping out of her way, he was ready to let her move forward but before he did he left her with one more notion. "It is a good thing that the Captain fired your sister. She is not fit to fly as she is and if this is how she is normally I wonder if she ever was." With that he tipped his hat towards Dorothy and turned, ready to head back to the Lady Luck. It wasn't that he enjoyed moments like this but he had to do what he had to do. There was no question about that now.
