⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Jahosafat & Atticus & Anisa

Location: Lady Luck: Main Room - Dance Floor, Main Room - Table, Main Room - Back
Skills: Gambler, Athletics, Jack of All

Atticus perked a brow. This was something he hadn't expected as he finished redressing himself fully and then picked up the cards from the table. "Sweet talking and striking deals is something every preacher has to be good at," he said with a chuckle before leaning back in his seat. She was suggesting that they play Go-Fish. It was a game he knew well. Hell it was doubtful that there was a person alive that hadn't been raised on the tales of Froggy and Dick during the Apocalypse. Froggy and Dick play Go-Fish was just one of many. It was a common a tale in the 'Verse currently as The Three Little Pigs had been back on the Earth that was in the 1900's.

It didn't seem to matter how long time passed, somethings never changed or if they did they changed back eventually. History did love to repeat itself and right then, the Doctor had the Assassin out on the dance floor and was kicking it up just as if he was at a Bard Dance back in the Wild Wild West after a long day at the fair enjoying the sugared butter shavings and shooting gallery. At least the doctor knew not to buy the tonics - Red Flannel was NOT science no matter how you sliced it. It was no wonder back then people died at the fair. "Seems she is on a train of thought with her posts and just can't shake the 4th wall or even the fair. I wonder if this is going to perchance pop up in another time as well. It seems she does have a certain proclivity for beating a dead horse, or sheep in this case. Poor Bridgette." The thought went through the doctors mind right quickly as he lead Mei in a dance.

Letting out a sharp breath the door to the back room finally opened and Anisa emerged, with hopefully Harper not far behind her. She looked, almost happy. Frustrated and tense but actually happy. Her eyes darting around until she spotted the table and then her look changed. Everyone but the Preacher and Dorothy were gone it seemed. Then she found them. They were all on the floor now, dancing. That was a change for sure. Foy and Jackie? Okay, she hadn't seen that one coming. Mei and Jahosafat? Okay, maybe that made sense. Fitz and Daphne? Oh that one was easy. What wasn't was the fact the girl was actually talking, or at least seemed to be since Anisa couldn't hear anything anyone said on the dance floor but the girls lips were moving.

"Have any sixes?" Atticus asked before turning and getting the attention of the waitress and ordering a fresh drink. It was then he spotted Anisa coming out of the back room. "Oh there's the captain. Hrm, back room? Was there a high stakes game I missed?" he asked as he turned back around and looked over towards Dorothy. If he had, he was going to be disappointed, granted he had enjoyed his time away from the group in ways that would get him at least a few days in purgatory if he knew his bible and.... He did.

As they moved across the dance floor the doctor found himself enjoying the situation. The woman might have not have danced in a while but she was doing well. Stopping near the edge of the floor when the song finally came to an end the doctors broad smile lessened a bit. "Now that the festivities of a single exuberant exchange of toe tapping has timed out, shall we get you back to a chair to rest on your rear haunches for a spell before we whisk you away to the steel bird we now call home and jaunt you to the medical bay for I believe if I am reading your movements correct, you have a bit of an injury on that leg of yours. I must give you props for keeping with such dexterity and ability even with the hindrance but shall we not place any more undue pressure on your wound."

Anisa opened her purse and rummaged through the small handbag for a moment before pulling out a cigarette and a lighter as she stepped out of the way of the door for Harper to exit as she lit up and took a long pull from it. "Well I don't know what is more interesting, what we just got done with or what is happening now. Either way doesn't matter. Time to wrap up, we have a job to do," she said idly towards Harper before she tried to catch Dorothys attention and make a motion with her fingers. It was a common gesture from her that her normal crew would know. It meant wrap it up and move out.

"Sometimes life just does that to people," Wentworth said to Mali as he stood there. It is funny how time changes and things happen. It is night now across the west coast. The sun has set and as per usual, when the night comes dark things come out to play. It doesn't matter if you are in Justice or in Mexico, shit is starting to hit the fan. Thing is, things are starting to come together as well. This is one of those moments in time when if there was a narrator reading this for you, you would hear the voice right now saying ~At this time several things occurred~.... What happened exactly? Shall we take a look?

In the files that Thalia was looking through she finally finds a picture from the night of the church shooting. It is a clipping from a newspaper article. In the picture is a woman about middle age, wrapping her arm around a minor female who looks to be in her teens, standing in front of the church with the fire department in the background. Caption... ~Valerie Pye comforting daughter of Entrepreneur Mogul Everett Queensguard, Elizabeth~

Over at the Development and Research Center in Justice, the party was going on despite the fact that security was having some massive issues. Zoie and her brother came out of the bathroom and glanced around. He was cleaned up now and they were both looking around for Mali. Elizabeth, Leann, and Regina are speaking to themselves as Risa and Lucas make the rounds before heading over to them. The Supreme court Justice Zatara Lyo is eying Regina as she taps her champagne glass before placing it on a tray as a waiter passes. She only takes a step or two before she starts choking, gasping for air and falling to her knees.

Wentworth glances over towards Zoie as she and her brother return. "That took long enough, have a sibling spat?" he asked and Zoie could only smirk slightly, not having taken notice that her boss was turning green and blue on the other side of the room. Granted the crowd was thick in there and the noise was loud.

As if that all wasn't enough, the Circus was indeed in town and it seemed there was a trio of crazies headed towards it instead of the Asylum where the forensic team had shown up but it was the B crew that was for sure and it was explained that their main coroner and such was out of town but not to worry, this seemed pretty cut and dry. Once the cops were finished Nurse Cratty said she had it from there as a text came in to the doctor - "Are you doing okay?", it was from Tinder, it seemed he was checking in on her as he sat in the limo.

"I am not sure, I wonder if we can connect her to Chris's first murder.... If we could do that we could shut her down. Sure, exposing her that she faked her death is one thing but considering it came out that her brother was a killer that would just get her sympathy. I'm thinking it's vacation time," Roy suggested. Was he really suggesting going to Grimm Indiana? It wasn't exactly the most calming place in the world.

Eden

Location: Eden: E11, Tank/D7, D8
Skills: Survival, Pistols, Tank Operations, Land Navigation, Hunting, Rifle, Sniper Rifle

Lola was day dreaming as she drove the tank slowly towards the main building of Eden. You see Lola had a very active imagination and right now she was in her own Post Outbreak Version of Risk. Yet this wasn't trying to invade Asia. No one ever got into a land war in Asia. (Hitler never played Risk as a child and we saw what happened there, the Kiwi was far more learned in the world of games than the former scrubstache was.) In Lola's day dream she wasn't the player, moving pieces. She was the piece, one of them. Above her was this really demented woman rolling dice and cackling every time some massive shit went totally wonky. Lola was only a pawn for her to move and use as a meat shield towards her ultimate goal. (Which Lola had no idea what it was. Anytime it ever even though about what this Onipresents dice tossing chippy was up to the words NO SPOILERS! flashed in her mind.)

Apparently Lola wasn't the only one off in dream land even as shit was being blown up around him and guns were being fired towards him. Yet Gavin wasn't in a game of Risk, he was at the fair. (And people die at the fair!) Gavin was picturing himself in the old west. He had just had a great clipping at the Coiffeur Mustachery, he was sporting a rather fine hat, his sheep Bridgette was on the top of the court house (Bridgette was "special") and now he and Strawberry were at the shooting gallery and he was about to win her a bright yellow duck. Every shot he popped off from his gun he took another Edenite out and there was that wonderful ~ding~ going off in his head.

In fact, Thana was probably the only one having rational thoughts. You know, how to enter Eden, how to finish this. Shit you should have been thinking about in this type of situation. That was until she kind of looked off into the distance and... "This is really some messed up shit isn't it? Cowboy is in the old west, Lola is playing Risk and here I am talking to you as filler because the fucking birthday girl, AKA your Gm ain't slept for shit this week so she is using us as her personal puppets to break the forth wall. What this bitch will do to entertain herself and make her minimal post length is just... I don't even have the words for it." - Thana was speaking, but in her mind, not to the two others next to her. Yet you just heard her in that voice in your head. (That voice if you watched the video in chat that is.)

Back to Lola. Lola was still in the middle of Risk and had driven the tank up some more but she didn't drive it right into the place. That would be rude. She stopped, parked, as well as one could park in the grass, and went to grab some weapons. That was until the radio went off. Not waiting for Beatrice, she grabbed it and radioed back. "Gooood Mooooorning Eden! This is your local Kiwi and we are fine and fucking aces mate. Will be watching the six, you do as well. Cowboy is picking them off one at a time. Meet ya at the juice bar for a run by fruiting!" she radioed back before tossing the thing to Beatrice and grabbing her shit. It was time to get personal.

Gavin was indeed outside still picking them off. He had won at least a stuffed ducky by now. There was no Eden, this was the Wild Wild West and he was in Comfort circa 1887, that or some fucking moon in the 'Verse. Either way, it didn't matter. He was having one hell of a time before he stopped in his ~vision~ and.... "Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, this be more twisted than den of snakes durin' matin' season. Howdy there! Think ya can do mes a fav? Tries to get this Lady here typing to win me strawberry. I means come on. You knows the dice ain't gonna let Thana and Ash evers gets together. Strawberry gots close to him, so shes gotta die now cause of his damn curse. So, damn the dice, save a life - Strawberry and Cowboy!" - Seemed Gavin decided to have a 4th wall break inside a day dream, is that a 2nd wall break squared or the square root of the 4th wall break?

Thana didn't give a shit either way. What Thalia had said was coming into her mind right then. "That sounds like the start of a bad porno," she said rather matter of factly as she stood there and started to straighten herself as the dust was starting to die down on the back side. Pulling her pistol out she checked it and made sure everything was in order. They were about to make a break for it towards the main building, last she needed was the safety to be on at this time. Especially since from what Lola was radioing in, they were about to do the same from the other end.

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: Ville au Camp - Kitchen House
Skills: N/A

While the rest of the people in Ville au Camp were tending to this and that, drinking or dealing with dead people or both, George on the other hand was still cleaning up the oatmeal from his face. The gaping hole one one side made it impossible to see anything but the damage but the other side, cracked into a small smile at the suggestion from Nancy. "Mmm, obvious. Too obvious. Use the water to make their tea, mmm, and the oatmeal to make cookies. Mmm, Alicia will eat anything," he said as he picked out some of the oatmeal from the nose area of the mask.

Alicia would pretty much eat anything, it was a reflex considering her fathers abilities in the kitchen. She vaguely remembered something about spicy ice cream enchiladas not too long before she died. Granted she also remembered a bottle of tequila, some fuzzy bunny slippers, happy face boxers, and an exploding front door. Her dad sure as hell knew how to make an entrance yet looking back now on that day, more importantly that morning something dawned on her for the first time since her arrival. That morning she had awoken from a dream, one where she had been killed and eaten by zombies in. She had dreamed of her other life. "Dios mio..." That was a hell of a shit storm memory to come to the front and she found herself downing the rest of the glass and nearly choking on it but refusing to stop until every drop in her cup was gone.

Gasping slightly she wiped her mouth with the back of her arm and nodded towards James. "Shit, should have seen the man then. He was far more ...." she began before stopping and searching for the words, "Scary." It was a single word but one she knew would get the point across. Sure her father was intimidating in Newnan but over in Justice, he was still working actively. That mans legend was still growing even now in some timelines of the Earth. "Though doubt he would have given him less shit but makes me wonder, just what the fuck is going to do when he see the father of my boy, poor Keystone," she said with a hint of concern in her voice before starting to crack up at the thought. It was both terrifying and hilarious at the same time.

"Oh yeah, drunk comes," Alicia said, snickering between thoughts. Then the suggestion came, a drinking game? That could be interesting and it seemed at least one was up for it.It was about at that time Gilbert came in and Alicia started pouring herself round two. She heard him but she really wasn't listening much. The though of big ass Keystone being informed he was a father by Caesar was just too fucking funny to her. "What, afraid we might learn it was you that caused the war of 1812?" Alicia taunted before looking over at Sophia and leaning back in her chair with her newly poured cup. "Shit, I'll start. If you've ever lived in a time line before 1900 take a drink," she said still chortling slightly and eying Gilbert in the process.

Would have been interesting to see George play the game Alicia thought, he really didn't speak about anything before he arrived in the land of the forgotten as Alicia called the place from time to time. And right then he wasn't thinking about anything but oatmeal and burial. It was an interesting combination. Gio said he'd find a place and George nodded as he flicked another piece of oatmeal off his mask. He was nearly done cleaning it up. Peter would be buried down by the water. Everyone that had been in Ville Au Camp knew that Peter loved the large oak tree down by the waters edge, he would sit there for hours reading books on architecture and math as the Spanish moss moved back and forth in the wind. "Mmm, all good," he finally said a few minutes later before putting his mask back on and picking up one of the shovels left behind for them. Picking up his coat to bring with them he started out of the mill and went off to catch up with Gio.

Hearing Alexandra cough made Alicia perk a brow and smirk. "Oh yeah, good shit," she said before looking over at Bart. Seemed he had questions. Wasn't surprising. "We have a continental breakfast, maid service, afternoon tea under the trees, and cricket to play afterwards. Might want to check with the events coordinator later to see what is happening on the Ledo deck," she said in all seriousness before cracking up. It was nice to have her empathy shut mostly down right then, made her feel much lighter. So did the booze.

Evelina Lucas

Location: Ville au Camp - Main House 106)
Skills: Diplomacy, Memory Training, History

It was an interesting question and one that Evelina herself had pondered once long ago. "That is a perplexing question and one that I unfortunately do not have an answer for at this time. I doubt that I may ever be privy to such information. You see, despite our abilities and long lives, how much of them come to be and how we live is still one of those things that are a mystery to even us. Just as we do not know what lays beyond death if anything, if there is a god, and more. There is much in this universe that even a life as long as humanity itself you cannot learn the answer to, some things we are just forced to accept as because the universe said so." Evelina spoke as she began to undress and clean the body of the Paradox known as Peter, it did not bother, or at least didn't seem to irk her that Andromeda had asked the question. Curiosity was like death, it was just part of life.

Turning her head slightly she looked over to Andromeda and held her breath for a moment before continuing. "Yet, physically I do not believe so, others will come into the loop today and leave without issue. I have had a non paradox remain in a loop before." It was an interesting little tid bit of information but it really did not answer the question yet it seemed to be about as good as one could hope.

The Dices attention was back on Peter for while cleaning could be done by touch while she spoke, placing flesh back together to be sewn took more attention. Yet she did say one more thing before picking up a needle and thread. "Al Capone, interesting man. The man which brought our Peter back to us, George, knew him personally. If you would like to know more about Al, perhaps you could speak with George," she suggested.

Looking over at Andromeda she motioned towards Peters body. "Would it be too much to ask for you to hold his wounds together while I stitch up his form? I do wish to make this as neat as possible," she asked and explained the reasoning behind. It was one of the reasons she wanted Andromeda to join her. She felt the woman could handle the situation considering the life she had just come from.

Museum: Neema looked up and sighed, so there had been someone up there. "We wouldn't be lucky enough for them to leave a calling card," she commented before turning her attention to Mahendra. Maybe there was something in the dust where things had occurred. (There was something only Mahendra could see at this point about fifteen feet from him but hey Neema hadn't seen it yet on the ground.)

"One without blood," Vera said nervously before letting Reginald lead her down into the archives. That was the last thing she wanted to see but she knew she would need to eventually. Even if it was only to check on whatever crate had landed on the man and make sure the contents were still in one piece. If not, to see what damage was done. But for now she didn't want to see it.

The local law enforcement hadn't shown up yet, which was odd. They were normally quick on these things. Something must have been holding them up. Maybe it was the same thing holding up George and Peter. Not that Vera was worried something had happened to them but just that perhaps the streets were far too crowded now to get through. Yet, would that be crowded enough for over two hours to pass? No, Peter must have run across something architectural and it had taken his mind off things. He could get lost in such matters. He had before. And this was a city that was old and very interesting.

As they got there, Vera avoided the area she had been told about, taking the long way around and turning a corner. Coming up at the end of an isle and spotting Mahendra and Neema a few stacks down. "Where is Miss Ridgeway?" she asked concerned as they walked over to the two.

"She is up there checking on things, she is fine," Neema assured her. Vera looked up and spotted her on top of one of the rows of shelves. "Seems there are foots steps up there, new ones. Has anyone been up there today?"

"Unless Mr. Drake was up there, I cannot think of another, though even he shouldn't have needed anything that high up. Would be the wrong kingdom to be looking in. He knows the cataloging system to some extent."

An Artistic Demonstration: Akhmed lifted a brow as the women talked and grinned to himself. They were off and on there way. The roads were busy, as was per usual during this time of the day. Seemed a bit more as the taxi had to detour. It seemed something had happened down an alleyway and the local law enforcement was blocking it off. The taxi had to make a slight detour because of it but it didn't hold them up and before long they were in a more less tourist traveled part of town and what to look like what could have been a vendors area. The place vendors went to purchase the goods they were going to sell to the tourists. Once they were in what seemed to be the heart of the area the taxi stopped and Akhmed opened the door. Letting himself out first before extending a hand to each lady as she exited the cab should she need or want assistance.

"And we have arrived," he said offering one arm to each lady before starting to walk. There were a lot of people mulling about, going from vendor to vendor. People were talking, quickly, in their native language. The place was like a bee hive. There was a crowd around one area that Akhmed had to push through and as he did every so often one could head the sound of metal striking metal until it stopped.

"That will need to cool for a short time," a man said as he thrust a red hot piece of metal into a bucket of water, the steam billowing up into the air. "Let us take a short recess, we will begin again in half an hour," he added before the crowd started to break up. Some people stayed where they were, others were happy to move on right then. The man turned and picked up his shirt, using it more as a rag than anything at that point.

"Aton, sorry I'm late," Akhmed said before starting to speak in the native language. There was an odd look on Atons face before nodding and turning his attention to the women. "Please, let me introduce Ms Mosi Harker and the star of stage and screen the lovely Miss Josephine Clark."

Cleaning his hands off on his shirt before tossing it to the side and smiling at them. "Ahh, welcome! Akhmed drag you along?" he teased a bit.

Millicent Wyndham

Location: Dining Hall, Heaton Hall, Heaton Park, Manchester, England
Skills: Class Knowledge (Peer), Court Etiquette, House

Listening to Colette, Millicent found herself smiling slightly. It was good that Colette had someone willing to be there for her. It reminded her of one she was close to that seemed to be willing to do anything for her she asked. Dear Mr. Connolly had always been there for her since he was hired by her father. He seemed to endure through everything her mother had thrown at him, no matter how the woman spoke to him or treated him he continued. She never doubted that as each morning came that he would be there and she would have someone to speak with for the day. He was uncommonly kind and seemed to always know when she needed gentle word of reassurance.

Then the smile faded at the thought that she might never be able to see him again or speak to him as they once did. Soon she would be wed, and she doubted her new husband would allow her such freedoms as to wander down to a stable to speak with the stable hand. More than that, would Richard even allow her to keep Mr. Connolly and the rest of her own staff? Or would she be forced to use his staff. What of her family, even if her mother and sister did not get along with her they were still family. Would she see them? So many questions came through her mind.

Looking over to Colette she forced the smile to return. "Such a person that you can count on is a wonderful thing to have." It was all she could think to say without bringing too much attention to herself. Richard and Thomas were speaking on ships and trade. Ships... her father. Once married Rutherford would take over, she could only hope that he wouldn't ruin them. Perhaps he would let her continue working as she had been, she did know the business, she had been running it.

For now that would have to wait as the course changed and ore food was brought out. It was the second of seven, this was going to be a long evening but that was how these things went. The plating was small, as to not fill one up too quickly, they were slow to allow for speaking, and they were many to ensure by the time you finished you wanted to do nothing but crawl into bed and sleep until it was digested. (This was also why so many kitchens had to remain open all night for once you woke in the middle of the darkest hours your stomach was ready for more. Rich foods filled you but kept you wanting more.) Good thing they were not in Rome...

"Do you have any plans while you are in the city or are you open?" Millicent eventually asked as the courses were changed out. She was trying to keep the speak light and easy for now, at easy as she could make it that was. It was hard, she wanted to tell Colette a few things but they were nothing she could speak of there in front of Rutherford. Or Thomas for that matter. While she had dealt with him before she was not sure she could trust him to speak her mind freely. So much was up in the air and she had to play it carefully. The only reason she felt she could tell Colette was because the woman was not a local.

Elizaveta Romanova

Location: Her Private Tent, Russian Tent City, Regent Park, London, England
Skills: English, Diplomacy

As the Grand Duchess changed she began to wonder to herself how they were going to be able to get away without being noticed. And now there was the added issue that Virginia did not have skill with riding. This would mean a slight change of plans. They couldn't just the three of them take a mount and rush off. Granted Veta couldn't just take any mount. She couldn't ride a horse, she didn't have the skill for it but she did have a skill, a certain skill, a particular set of skills. One that involved a tiger and Myska was as close a companion as she could have in the four legged furry kind. It wasn't that she could ride, it was that Myska would not let her fall. It was one thing for him to carry her or to carry small children but two women that would be too much.

"You are most velcome. Ve vill leave the papers here, Sister Sophia vill find them vhen she checks in here later. If ve are lucky it vill ot be until then that it is discovered that ve have departed." Yes, departing. And Mary was bringing up some wonderful points. The Red hair was rare. Granted not as rare as the woman might think. There were others in the Circus with red hair, and plenty with much stranger colors they had given themselves. Hair would not cause too much attention t be paid. At least not as much as a nun walking around with weapons would. Now that was a horse of a different color.

"Da, a distraction, that was vhy I thought to send the one knovn as Thalken to Master Ludvig. If anyone vithin these tents vould drav attention to themselves it vould be that interesting German fellov. That and one other thing...." she said as a small smile came to her lips. It seemed that the woman had been up to more than just putting on a good show during the presentation. Elizaveta thought back...

Everyone was preparing and there was little time left. With the arrival of Virginia, with the vision of Millicent, so much had changed. She knew she had to leave and with Mary at her side, if not more. But no matter who came with her there was more that could not, there was an entire circus that could not know she had left until it was far too late to stop her. For she loved her people, her family within the Circus, she would not put them at more risk. Not wanting them to come to hard played along side the fact that if they knew travel with the Circus would be far slower than just a small party.

So the Grand Duchess had gotten to work. The woman didn't have many of the skills that most in the Circus did but she had watched them enough times to know what things triggered things going wrong. Such as lamps in the wrong place and ropes just far enough out of reach to not catch fire but to dry slowly and become brittle enough to finally snap at the most inopportune time.

"Hurry, please, it vill not be long until ve have such a distraction, ve vill have to move quickly," she said as she finished pulling her boots on and quickly moved over towards Myska. "Ve go out the back, to the back of the city where the stables are, retrieve your horse and then ride north. Mary, please make sure Virginia is vith you, Myska cannot carry both myself and another adult," she explained as she through a dark and worn cloak on and pulled it over her golden hair, tucking it back.

Beets, beets, the magical fruit. The more you eat the more you toot. The more you toot the better you feel. Make sure to eat beets at every meal. Wait, beets weren't fruit, they were a vegetable. They could make you toot though. Oh yes, toot away. Like on a trumpet or a trombone or even on a tranhozzenfangle. Oh and there you could have a beet, a sick beat, poor unfed harvested beat, yes, drop that sick beet and tap your feet.

And so the man did, standing there as his thoughts went off into cloud that would have been pink and purple and full of garblesnatchers if there were such things. Maybe there were, there could be. A dance and a dip and a toe tap, dropping that sick beet, not beat. Maybe meat, oh yeah meet - he needed to meet someone. Wait he did. He met Mr. Talk.

"You spoke! Yes to that! I hear you Mr. Talk. I heard you. Yes. No games but we could play a game. games are most fun and will not make you mad," he said as he drummed his fingers along his journal. He was still dancing, it was amazing he hadn't rolled his ankles as of yet. Was the mans body made of rubber?

"They do not like mad people so perhaps a game of Natcklewangle in a moment. I could so for a good game of Natcklewangle. When we are done."

Done but done with what. What was there do to but to eat and play games - all sorts. Perhaps the man needed a spoon full of sugar to help the medicine go down. Did he need medicine? Perhaps but right then the mans face looked like he had just taken a large dose of Bobblegarble. Most foul that stuff was, could choke a dead calf and a half. And make one bend, to bend and to turn, to turn and to bend, bend until one broke, you would need to be mended then. Mend, Amends!

"Amends, two mends, three mends go, to and fro, stop ad go, that's what makes the world go round, in and out, thin and stout, that's what at makes the world go around. For every high there is a low, for every too there is a fro and that's what makes the world go round!" Ludwig sung.

The man would have kept singing but it was cut short as the loud sound of a rope snapping somehow managed to echo through the tent. Then there was another. And another. And then suddenly the big top came down. Thankfully it was just the lower layers of cloth that were used to hide what lay above between shows and during set ups but it was enough to be heavy and make it nearly impossible to move. Tent fabric wasn't exactly light weight. Ludwig looked up as the stripes of fabric came washing down. "Well isn't this maddening, we should amend this..." he said as he flittered and flashed into a fairy and flew beneath the table of food where he found his two little friends eating and speaking of pirates. "I am A Tinker and this is a cave of wonders!"

It was all in good fun - for them at least. For everyone else it was a cluster fuck. "Nov, go, move quickly," Elizaveta said before darting out of the back of the tent with Myska at her side.

Jahosafat & Atticus

Location: Lady Luck: Main Room - Dance Floor, Main Room - Table
Skills: Lore -> Religion, Physical Science -> Chemistry, Gambler -> Poker, Carouse, Social Science -> Psychology

Atticus chuckled a bit at the boys words. "Oh son, one need not confess that. Now if you were trying to rationalize an imaginary number on Pi day we might have to talk penance," he said as he put his collar back on and leaned back in his chair. Oddly enough this is where Atticus was most comfortable. He had cards in front of him, a bible in his pocket, and was talking along a scientific line of sorts to some random person. The man might have been a preacher but he was highly educated and very fond of explosives - which took a hefty amount of both science and faith to survive handling. He was made to blow shit up.

Tilting his head to the side, the ebony man smiled broadly at Mei and held out his hand to her. "Now this is an honor, to be able to have on my arm a woman of such beauty and from what I have gathered one of skill if you were able to elude my fellow Faradiarian while injured. You must have not only a constitution for the ages but a mind as sharp as Miss Jackies tongue there. I dare to hope that this dance will be one of the most exhilarating that I have had the joy of executing in some time." The man spoke as if he had thrown up a copy of Websters Unabridged Dictionary laced with a thesaurus for the ages from the Earth that was but from the look in his eyes, he actually was excited to be able to dance.

"In other words you're happy as fuck to dance," Atticus said before taking a long sip of his drink.

"Ha! Yes, yes in deed my fine fellow of the faith!" Jahosafat laughed before smiling back over to Mei and leading her out to the dance floor. He did not bother to worry about warming up. His opinion was this - did you ever see a lion stretch before it took down a gazelle? Of course not. The true kings of this world acted, their bodies were always ready.

Atticus just smirked a bit as he looked over towards Dorothy. "Fuck that, deal me in. It's either cards between the two of us or you gotta dance with my ass. I think you would prefer cards. Every hand you win, I give you 1 day without my preaching to you. Come on, you know you want in on that," he taunted her as he tapped the table and motioned towards the cards.

Queensguard Research: Elizabeth eyed Wentworth for a moment before turning her attention back to McCormick and the others. They seemed to exchange a series of looks between each other but didn't say anything as of yet. Wentworth on the other hand was paying attention to Mali currently. "Yes..." he answered simply. Stepping a little closer to her and partially passed her he lowered his voice a bit. "Try to make sure it isn't your last," he said. Whether he was trying to warn her that this place was dangerous or just that he wouldn't mind seeing her again at the place was left up to interpretation.

Time was moving quickly but the system was not back online as of yet. Everything was still down and it seemed as if there was an interruption somewhere security couldn't figure out from where other than it was coming from the complex. Inside or out was yet to be determined. They were having to move off MSS's personal satellites right then, not the Queensguard system.

The group with Elizabeth moved off to a table and sat down out of ear rang from Wentworth and Mali, Wentworth seemed to be going down a bit of memory lane, he was speaking about his son. Talking about how he had been one hell of a computer expert and how he had hoped that he would take over the business one day.

Outside of the main complex a car pulled up to the gate and a woman handed over her invitation. Alexandria Benson and Marcus Debuz," she said as she looked out of the car.

A Safehouse in the Deadlight District: "I understand and yes this thing is fucking huge. It all started with two sisters..." Roy explained before going into Danica and Peyton, the two that had kicked it off and Boston Heights, where Riley lived being a main murder point. "Come on, lets get inside and I can explain more," he said before turning back. He wasn't keeping Riley out of this point. Hell she already knew all this.

Stepping inside he glanced over at Riley and gave her a bit of a nod. "Hey girl, sorry about that." He walked over and sat down before rubbing his face, this was a lot to fill his new Partner in on. "Danica Graves, she lived in Boston Heights. She apparently moved here to find out what happened to her sister Peyton. Different last names so no one knew. Thing was I was on Peytons case and made to cover shit up. Danica was thrown off the top of the building across the street, or fell off, it's all a blur. That was when I had enough, I couldn't keep it up anymore. After Danica died, more shit started to happened. It was like a snow ball effect. That was when Lawson got killed, Lawson was married to a girl that went to High School with Riley here. Tinder went to the same High School with them," he explained. There was so much to cover.

"What hadn't hit was that the man that Riley killed, the serial killer Chris Malony, Riley... You remember his older sister Melissa?" he asked as he looked over to her. Melissa had gone to Grimm High as well, but she graduated eight years before them. She had died during her graduation trip to Egypt. Bombing in Cairo, only ashes were returned. "She... She's Regina Eilheart, the media mogul," he let out as he opened the lap top and pointed to the screen where she was walking out of the warehouse before Lawson arrived that day. "She's obviously not dead."

Justice Asylum: Nurse Cratty was glad that the doctor was taking over on this. It would be easier to listen and see what the doctor was saying to know what could be repeated and figure out maybe what couldn't. "Yes, please, tell me what happened," the police officer said as his partner called things in. The forensics department would need to get in there, not only to get the body but any evidence.

"Are there cameras?" he asked. Cratty looked over towards the doctor and shook her head slightly. Yes they had cameras but they had been messing up since the break out the day before, nothing was getting recorded. A memo had gone out about it but Cratty wasn't sure if the doctor had had a chance to read it as of yet.

"They are down, state funds don't really call for emergency tech teams to get in here and fix it. We get repairs about as often as you get raises," Cratty said in a huff.

The cop nodded. "So never," he said with a smirk before looking back at the doctor. "Well just tell me as best you can what went down here."

Spinning around Thana barely registered what had just happened but after a minute it dawned on her that the older gentleman had just saved her ass. Once this was all said and done, she was going to give that man one hell of a thank you but for now she hoped he would be okay with a grateful look on her face and an appreciative nod. They didn't exactly have time for thanks you and you're welcomes right then. this was a war zone after all and if anyone could understand that, she figured Alexander could. Out of everyone in their little group she was pretty sure he was the only one that had been a full out actual war at this point. The rest of them were just too young. Sure some might have seen conflicts here and there but nothing the likes that the had seen before the new millennium. Times were different back then, more like they were now that everything had fallen apart. Less technology, more gut instinct.

Had Gavin known what was going on though, it would have been a different story. He would have hefted the man up on his shoulders and gave a great big ol' hoot and holler for the man that just saved Strawberry Wines life, twice. That was the type of shit you bought a man not a round of drinks but the whole damn bar for. At least that was what Gavin would have done if he had known, sure as shit that was what he was going to do when he found out. But for now, he had to keep his wits about him. There were two very able women in a tank he was hiding behind right now doing their thing.

"Fuck, worlds just full of Yanks isn't it?" Lola laughed. Lola's thing right then was waiting for Beatrice to hit the little "red" button. When the girl did, Lola let out a hoot and holler that way too sadistic. She was cackling as she looked through the opening and watched the left back end of the building go big badda boom. Pieces of wall, and plants, and tress went everywhere. Several bodies went flying, one landing right on top of the tank. It was one hell of a show. "AVON CALLING!" she yelled.

Thana ducked as she heard the boom and glanced over towards Alexander. "Yeah, I think you can place that call now." The dust was billowing up from the building and while they didn't have a direct line of sight going on, it was obvious that the other half of their group had just blown the shit out shit. Ducking down she followed Thalia and kept moving. Seemed that it was time and they could make a break for it. "Maybe we should just bee line it there now. They aren't going to know what just hit them." Her voice was calm as she spoke but she had a point. If they were going to make a move into the building, it was time they made a break for it.

Gavin heard the thud and quickly stood up, a body half blow apart was looking down at him empty eyed and bleeding. Seemed they had arrived. Grabbing the body he pulled it off the tank and climbed up, taking a seat in the dust covered recliner that Lola had on the top of her tank and got comfortable before taking aim. Now he could start picking them off one by one as they ran out, if they did. Lola had put the tank back in gear and was pressing forward. Seemed the Kiwi wasn't going to get out and walk up to the door just yet, for all he knew she was going to drive right on in.
