Roleplay man, roleplay man, does whatever a roleplay can. Does he write? Not at all. He brings plots to a stall, look out... He’s a fucking ghost.

Try now.

@Raylah

Oh yeah, it's literally just little nuggets of shiny stuff. They like to polish it, but they can't smelt any of it.
@Raylah
Better?

For those coming here in the future, the OOC is

An old train rattles through a dank forest. Trees, gnarled and dead, whip by, shapes scattering at the chugging of the machine. Its destination was the city of Temnorapool, a small port city in the south of of Perafidion. It was late into the second day of the journey, the only previous excitement having been the stop half a day prior in order to load itself up on more coal to fill the bellows. Throughout Perafidion, there were rumours- whispers on the winds about great calamities that had struck other nations, but that seemed oh so far away to the passengers on the ships. Not to mention, the newspapers had said nothing about it.

The quiet of the journey was broken by a scream. Not the scream of a person, but the scream of metal- the screech of steel pushed beyond its limit. An ear-splitting 'bang' split the gloom, and with a sudden urgency the train halted itself, further creaking and groaning as the carriages slammed into one another, as if they were dominoes a child was toying with. Now the screams that came were those of women and children, shouts and cries as the now-stationary train creaked and groaned. The great metal beast complained a few times, and a crash could be head from the back of the train, but then... All was still.

Perafidion

One of the oldest nations, Perafidion can trace a complicated lineage all the way back to the ancient days. Undergoing industrialisation, the country is hung in the balance of new and old. Trains link up some cities, but others can only be reached by long days on a carriage or cart. Sabres and rapiers compete with revolvers and muskets for dominance over the field, whilst the fashion styles are firmly held back in the days of tricorns.

Generally, Perafidion's weather is fair. It is often rainy and cloudy, but generally the summers and springs are warm and wet enough to provide an adequate crop. The nation has a long spine of mountains and forests, and although earthquakes are not common, most everyone has experienced one or two in their lives. The people of Perafidion believe in a religion known as the Light. Churches, chapels and cathedrals dot the land, and the clergy is a perfectly respectable profession for both men and women to enter.
