Bio
Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...
I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.
You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.
I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.
@Rune_Alchemist Accepted on one LARGE condition. He's Apep. He's going to be a tad too powerful. He can only be his snake form and those powerful powers can only be used in Dual. He's going to be bound there by Ra (And Ra by him; a old and ancient curse they've been forced to share) and Ra will suffer the same depletion of power. They can only use their Godly powers and keep a guise of human form up. But they cannot use their full and mighty power. This is part of the reason Rome gained control.
Essentially he would be on par with most Gods and not so terrifying and the forum is up. I'll link it

Many presume, even Set, that her mother was human. All that is known is that when Bes was still a babe, she was found in the sands after a group of nomads left her for the desert God she shared blood with. Though by right she should have died, Bes survived. She was taken into the Pantheon and grew there as a powerful Demi-God. In her youth she left the Pantheon and slaughtered a group of Nubian raiders as they attempted to torch a village. The Gods refused to answer, so she did. Thus the survivors spread word of her and the poor priesthood was confronted with the possibility of another goddess. They're still trying to figure it out, but Bes has found enjoyment in confusing them with omission.

The Gods of the Ancient World lived, and they still do. They fought their wars and play their games of politics. They found love and hatred. Pantheons rose and fell. Demi-gods contained the powers of their parents to a degree. Dragons, demons and such existed.
The year is 116 AD, and the Roman Empire is at the height of their power. The Olympian pantheon reigns supreme with their Roman worshipers. The other pantheons fight to keep their power and worshipers.
About the RolePlay
In this Rp I mean to explore the ancient world and politics of the Gods as they vie for power and domination or perhaps to simply protect what is theirs. Very Slice-of-Life in ancient times with a good mix of fantasy.
You can play any God, or a DemiGod. Heck, you can even play a human or a demon. And you could possibly destroy the world, but I don't think anyone here wants to rule over nothing.
Rules
-Respect GMs! -Proper grammar and spelling! -Please be civilized! -Two to three Paragraphs. Going for high casual here. -Please try to post at least once to twice a week. Want to keep it moving. -More to Come...

Godly Powers
Gods share some similar powers beside their specialized powers, for example Apollo's Sun and Artemis's Moon. All Gods can Teleport, Manifest basic items, summon items in hand, have a general sense of omniscience over mortals though not other gods or Demi-gods, they also have telekinesis on varying levels, and can throw Godly Bolts of power and create brief shield.
Demi Gods can only use the specialized powers, a very weak sense of omnisceince more like gleaning a feeling of weak minded people. They can only manifest items by their specialized medium.

@Zahrale Accepted, but we're hashing out the powers. Because, @Lucian is correct. Your going to need to be more defined. Too open means power-play. (Yes I know, but other people will try it if I don't hold the same rule for all.)
Alrighty, Going to transfer everything over to the RP section. The IC RP will most likely not start tonight. But will be starting within the next few days. I just want to get things ironed out. And be sure to re-read my first ever post on this thread. I added in Godly powers.
Also when posting your characters, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! So I don't wear my fingers to the bone scrolling, put them in hiders. And yes I'm going to enforce this with the sheer number of characters.
When the human had shoved the poor rabbit and her current shield from his way and advanced upon her. Yennifer thought herself ready to learn to fly from the terror that shook her. Never had anyone come so close and so quickly! Her feathers quickly puffed up as her wings were left partly open in shock as he tossed her precious instrument case behind him with ne'er a care. Thankfully the cat had caught it. Giving the fellow beastkin a small smile of thanks. Perhaps it would have been best to leave the precious items at home, rather than the dilapidated inn! Her clothes had been hurled at the rabbit. Clutching the briefcase tightly she knew if the man ripped this from her hand, she was going with it. A stray thought crossed her mind if he perhaps had whale and bull in his blood...
Thankfully a gracious swan had attracted his attention. Looking rather like a disheveled feather duster, Yennifer blinked with wide eyes. Perhaps her brother was right. Humans were best stayed away from. Sensing more Beastkin approaching, she longed to see what and who they were. But she was loath to turn her back on the man that was waxing praises and pet names on herself and the swankin. Forcing her feathers to settle she bobbed her head as he bowed. "I, thank thee for thy hospitality." Best to be formal and polite. Then again, this was one human she would strive to avoid! He was so overly loud and obnoxious, though she would never say that. Oh, she couldn't wait until he left- hopefully he would leave!- and she could check her lovely instruments. That would soothe her nerves beautifully.
@Karos The Gods needed time to recover. And a Royal family can be re-established. So I carefully calculated each God's healing time. Nah, Even if Roman were there there are still some rebellions. Roman has only held it for roughly a little less than 150 years.
@Lucian I'm working on getting some more people in. REALLY want to get The Big Three Greek/Romans, and another Celt and Egpytian. Though I will throw up the OOC tonight most likely, or perhaps today.
