I. Intro

What if Ceasar's Legion were sane? What if they weren't complete monsters, or evil to the point of stupidity? What if they weren't built to fall apart once Caesar died? What if they, while still brutal and cruel, brought actual order and organization to their lands? Would things still turn out to be the same?

Other questions are: What if the Kings were more fleshed out? What if the Fiends and Vipers showed the depths glimpsed in the original world? What if Elijah maintained control of the Brotherhood? What if the NCR's sinister reputation wasn't based on exaggerations, rumors, and outright lies? What if the fate of the Mojave relied not on one person, but multiple pariticpants?

Why that last question? Because the Courier is dead...

Basically, the points of divergence, aka the things that make Caesar's Legion different, are first, Ceasar finding different books about Ancient Rome during his time as Edward Sallow, and second, Caesar not having a brain tumor. This results in a Legion that, while led and controlled with an iron fist, with harsh punishments for disobedience, is more sensible, more willing to negotiate, and more willing to build, in general. A Legion of order and organization, based not on slavery, but on the practicalities of landed power focused by a strong man at the centre of it all. The New Roman Empire, the Nova Roma Imperii, risen again and looking towards what was good in the past to apply it to the future.

Your jobs, in this open world game, are to fight, explore, and interact; you can take bounties, sell food and purified water, take up arms in favor of a faction, and affect the larger story and world in your own way. What you would not be permitted to do, however, is cut yourself off from the world; no man or woman is an island, especially in the Mojave Wasteland.

II. New and Changed (Main) Factions

A.) The New Legion (Alternate Ceasar's Legion)

Led by a less extreme, more rational Caesar, the New Legion has united scores of tribes, bringing them forcibly to the light of civilization. Settling his subjects in what fertile lands remain in Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado, as well as bringing what settled peoples remain under his protection, whether they like it or not, The New Legion is a more stable state than its canon incarnation, with its soldiers coming not from enslaved and subjugated tribes, but from tribesmen settled in small plots of land that they can call their own, tend to, and as they are still heavily armed, even defend. But what happens when there's no more fertile land to give away? Well, that's why the New Legion still needs to expand west.

Ceasar still feels contempt for the NCR and Mr. House, and desires to bring his version of civilization to the Mojave. Although more willing to negotiate and compromise on the outside, that is all to hide his and his new army's determination to take what they they desire. Due to being based on smallholdings instead of slavery in this universe, though, they are much less numerous than they were in canon...but also better-equipped, organized, and led.

Even the minor soldiers wear armor and riot shields that can deflect small arms, while guns such as revolvers and cowboy repeaters a more common sight. The mid-tier soldiers have what the elites in canon have; anti-materiel rifles, super-sledges, and ballistic fists, while as for the the true elites, the true elites are clad in true bulletproof armor made from Pre-War meta-materials and reflective, anti-laser plating, and carry plasma rifles and longer swords that emulate the late roman 'spatha' instead of the 'gladius'.

As for their treatment of women, the New Legion does not treat women like cattle; they are allowed to defend themselves and to do paid work, but one sexist law still remains: Only women who have given birth to a child can join the New Legion, aka only a woman who has already 'bred for the cause' can fight for said cause.

And now, for the final difference from the original universe: Slavery. The New Legion does not actively enslave people. Slavery is still legal, and the Legion turns a blind eye to it, but slavery is a soldier's private business, and no effort is made to impede or support it. Basically, this Caesar turns a blind eye to slavery instead of endorsing it, although he is glad for the taxes it gives him...

B.) The New California Republic

The New California Republic changed with the assassination of President Aaron Kimball, a corrupt and imperialist war hawk who was overextending the NCR's resources. Led by a new President, Lucita Blake, the NCR has began waging a crackdown on corruption, special interests, and straightening out its bureaucracy, while at the same time foregoing the brute-force tactics it was using on the Mojave...in favor of cloak-and-dagger tactics like assassinations, deception, and subversion in order to get its way anyway. Keeping the gruding loyalty of Chief Hanlon, the NCR has less open, but deeper grip on the affairs of the region than ever before.

Subfaction: The NCR Secret Service - Once the bodyguards of the President, the NCR Secret Service has been expanded to much, much, more. An elite group that does to urban areas and settlements what the NCR Rangers do with countryside settings, the Secret Service is a technologically advanced force that uses Stealth Boys, Oliver Anti-Materiel Rifles, Gauss Guns, and Laser Pistols to conduct assassinations and raids all across the Mojave.

Subfaction 2: The Cabal - A group of businessmen, diplomats, and investors whose goal is to establish control of the Mojave's riches, the Cabal spreads money around like water, and tosses out blackmail information like candy. Normally, Mr. House would be preparing a harsh response to this...if not for the fact that the Cabal's mysterious head has gained knowledge of Robert House's Pre-War life and career himself...

C.) Mr. House

An enigmatic genius who has kept the Mojave Wasteland together, Mr. House is brilliant, charismatic and utterly ruthless. However, in this universe, he has to play smarter and more clever than he had ever done before, due to a sane Caesar and more ruthless and less corrupt NCR after the riches of the Mojave. But in this case, he has help, able help, in the person of the Muted Man, a mysterious figure acting as his hand. With numerous contacts and resources, this subordinate might be the key to ensuring that the house would always win, even with these new circumstances.

III. Rules

1.) No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc. etc.
2.) Note, there will be sexual themes in this RP, but anything above nudity is forbidden, because I don't want us to get banned.
3.) No OOC feuding! If you must argue, be respectful. IC, meanwhile, you can hate each other as much as you like as long as it doesn't seep over to OOC.
4.) You can control NPCs when I explicitly say that you can control them.
5.) That said, you are allowed to create two major NPCs, with Special Stats of their own, as well as the player character.
6.) Please notify me if you will be gone longer than a few days, I myself will let you guys know if I will be gone.
7.) I reserve the right to kill off Custom Factions made by inactive Players, or fold them into a larger faction. Same for characters.

The battle with the mystery assassin was over, over before anyone can react. Tocsax and Hakim the Wise can breathe freely now, and once they were done, Hakim would say:

"Young man...you saved me, and I thank you for that. But now I must go; more needs to be done to protect the worlds." And with that, Hakim left, leaving Tocsax to sigh before going back to Mai, then saying:

"So, back to the ship? Let's fetch the others." And with that, the boy, in his eighteen-year old looking body, opened a Corridor of Darkness and went to fetch Drake and Seth, who were mopping up Stalin's goons. After a brief 'thank you', this would be followed by his' getting them all teleported to the Gummi Ship, and after that...rest.

Timeskip

Another week later, Lucille 'Lucy' Bolt would be with v2, asking him questions about his robotic body, like 'who made it?' or 'what's it made of?' or 'does it have death rays'? She, unlike Adelle, would be actively pursuing v2 for his knowledge, much to the disapproval of Judah bin Issac, who was guarding the Princess, a silent presence who still distrusted the group. Then, suddenly, the members of The Team would receive a message from Michael XIII Sideros, saying:

"First up, a pre-emptive cancellation of anyone who got a punishment, and second, we're about to reach the next world, and you're all asked to head for the Manisa League's Operations Room; there's going to be a briefing."

Once every member of the group (including the absent-and-silent Taka) were with Emperor Michael in the chamber, they would find him at the head of the projector-table in the centre of the room, a stormy look of rage on his face, the cause of which would be clarified once he spoke:

"The next world we will be in is...complicated. Basically, in this world, an alien civilization known as the Incubators have shaped human history by granting young human females the ability to transform into a new, more powerful, 'Magical Girl' form, which sounds campy and ridiculous until you get this twist: every Magical Girl is destined, once she runs out of both hope and magical energy, to transform into a 'Witch', an eldritch abomination that is then hunted by other Magical Girls to generate energy meant to stave off the natural process of entropy, aka the heat death of the universe."

"And the Princess of Heart we are searching for, one Madoka Kaname, is about to become a Magical Girl, and then degenerate into a Witch, thus dooming our efforts, unless we can prevent it." The holographic projector on the table would then show an image of a fourteen-year old, pink-haired schoolgirl with a faint smile on her face.

"Madoka Kaname is also the most powerful Princess of Heart we've seen yet, because thanks to her best friend who has a crush on her, Homura Akemi," the projector shifted to show another schoolgirl with striaght black hair, purple eyes, and a serious, determined look on her face, "her story has been going through a hundred time-loops; Homura's power is to rewind time back a month, in order to save Madoka from becoming a Witch."

"Our job, of course, is to help Homura save her friend/crush, as well as defeat the most powerful Witch currently in existence, Walipugisnacht, who provides the impetus for Madoka to accept the Incubators' offer. We also need to defeat the Heartless, as well, as," he then looked at Drake, "people from your Homeworld, Chronos, was it? You see, they, in their quest for knowledge, have been contacted by the Incubators, who seek to form a third force that can stand against the remnants of the Keyblade Order - me and this group - and the Seekers of Darkness." Emperor Michael kept frowning, then changed the projector yet again to show a blue-haired schoolgirl the same age as Madoka and Homura, and a young boy on a hospital bed, one with a broken hand.

"Another key towards Madoka's fall are Sayaka Miki, her other best friend, and her crush, Kyosuke Kamijou, whose lasting maiming would cause Sayaka to accept the Incubators' bargain and become a Magical Girl, then a Witch. Your first job is to make sure this doesn't happen by healing Kamijou and keeping Sayaka from doing anything reckless. This would be complicated by the fact that the enemies from Chronos are already moving to kidnap Kamijou and Sayaka...now."

The Emperor finally finished.

The Multiverse Army (Digimon, Pokemon, and Shin Megami Tensei Crossover.)

I. Intro

Intro

A long time ago, there were two kinds of being, Humans and Demons, supernatural beings created from the power of human worship and desire. These two races spread across multiple worlds, engulfing them in endless conflict over ideals of law and chaos, light, dark, and grey. But some humans sought a way out of this struggle, and in multiple worlds and timelines, created entities that were derived from Demons, but not the same. These are the origins of Pokemon and Digimon, whose lesser, but still-great, struggles would go unnoticed by the Demons and the Humans who still lived with them.

Until one day, in one universe, Nanashi, a being given the powers of 'Godslaying' by the Demon Dagda, observed the state of the Multiverse, ruled over by the mad God of Law, YHVH, and opposed by Lucifer, the capricious and untrustworthy Fallen Angel of Chaos, as well as the Polytheistic Alliance, guided by Krishna, Odin, and Maitreya, who seek to subjugate humanity in their own way. Nanashi, encouraged by Dagda, decided to kill all three factions, but ran into the problem that as YHVH was born from the innate human need for law and order, and will regenerate from human emotions if defeated, he can only be permanently killed if all humans who can potentially worship him are destroyed in turn.

Needless to say, in one universe, Nanashi took that decision. Killing the version of YHVH in his world and seating himself atop the Creator God's throne to take his place, the 'Godslayer' gathered his two formerly human servants, Flynn, a once-hero of Humanity ressurected and brainwashed to serve Nanashi, and the Artificial Goddess, one of Nanashi's former companions forced into the role of consort and mother of a new Human race. Together, they would create an army of Demons and 'new men' who would eradicate all of YHVH's potential followers all across the Multiverse, cleansing them of life in order to ensure that once Humanity was created anew, they would know no authority to rule them.

And he would not overlook the worlds that weren't inhabited by Demons, but by Pokemon and Digimon. He would kill everything there, as well, so as to liberate the Multiverse from YHVH's existence...

II. The Mon Alliance and Types of 'Mon'

The Mon Alliance

However, this genocidal - no, omnicidal - agenda would not go unopposed. When Nanashi's armies struck several universes at once, a being known as the Demi-Fiend, a human who had been given demonic powers, went to the worlds of Pokemon and Digimon in order to arrange an alliance between each sector of the Multiverse. Receiving a reasonable answer, the Demi-Fiend, introducing himself as Naoki Kashima, would meet with three others, Red, the Pokemon Champion, and Taichi Yagami, the greatest of all Chosen Children/Digidestined, and Aigis, a humanoid robot from the Persona sub-section of the Shin Megami Tensei universe. And together, they would form the Mon Alliance, and its armed branch, the Multiverse Army.

Here are the types of 'Mon' (Digimon, Pokemon, Demons, and Personas, a subtype of Demons):

Digimon

'Digital Monsters' made up of computer data given form by human emotions, Digimon are very close to Demons in power, and can sometimes even exceed them, but are friendlier to Humans than their ancestors. They live in various 'Digital Worlds' that coexist with each version of Earth in the Multiverse...

Pokemon

'Pocket Monsters' descended from the fusion of Demons and Animals, Pokemon are the easiest to 'train' and 'domesticate', meaning that they can be fielded in much greater numbers than Digimon, Demons, and Personas/Personae. To balance this nunbers advantage, they are weaker than Demons, Personae, and Digimon.

Demons

The original race of monsters, Demons are born from human emotions and concepts, with the most powerful of them being called 'Gods' or 'Angels'. Demons, when unleashed into an unsuspecting Earth, are fond of waging epic conflicts about Law, Chaos, and Neutrality, with some preying on Humans for food and spiritual energy, while others are relatively friendly to people. They can be tamed by 'Demon Summoners', the original Trainers/Tamers/Chosen through bribery, persuasion, or Human-to-Demon combat.

Personas/Personae

A subtype of Demon originating in the 'Collective Unconcious', Personae are less directly harmful than their kin, and the majority of them even lend their powers to Humans in times of crisis, binding themselves to specific people in order to fight against rogue members of their species. Thanks to their direct bond with people, they can be instantly powered by their wielder's emotions...
