Short Bio: Andrew Starling was a musical talent, discovered young and raised in glitz and glamour, although his parents kept enough of a clear head to keep him sweet and kind, and also kept him studying. He can get anything he wanted, he could pay for anything he liked (within reason), but he never really discovered something to spend too much of his spare cash on.

Videogames? Only a few of them were good. Anime? Only some didn't sour on him. Dancing? He was paid to dance as well as sing. Then he hit puberty and discovered 1.) Girls, and 2.) Other Boys. That's when his life took a downturn; as both wanted him for his money, and thought nothing of using their charms, excuses, and a little sob story now and again to trick him into spending his cash on them until his parents and his manager put their foot down.

Only a few of his 'crushes' stayed after that, and Andrew realized that had he been just one bit more naive and overconfident, he could have been tricked into spending his fortune away, ending up like many other washed-out celebrities. But from those who stayed, accepting friendship rather than anything more committed, Andrew learned the value of loyalty, of not letting childish and petty betrayal ruin his view on people forever. He was going to shine, to be the Light that brings beauty and wonder to the darkness.

Or maybe, because he refused to despair, he is Hope instead? Either way, when he got booked a ticket to Hawaii by a 'mysterious friend' of his manager, Andrew decided it would be a change of pace; maybe he'd finally meet 'The One' should he go there, not exactly incognito, but not making a spectacle of himself, either.

What he could not see was that something he was not ready for was coming.

Skills: Andrew Starling loves music and dancing, plain and simple. He has been trying to focus on academics after his latest rounds of disappointment, but has not found his footing yet. He knows some trivia, though, as well as the basics of streaming and even Vtubing.

Short Bio: Elecmon remembers 'The Old Days', when the Demon Lords were but a distant threat, and the Royal Knights kept order. The guardian of the Village of Birth, where all Digimon who die without being irredeemably corrupted are reborn, Elecmon was visited by Dorumon, his old friend and ally, with a plan to overthrow the Demon Lords and restore order to the Digital World and better lives for his 'charges'.

What You Don't Know

Dorumon reminded Elecmon that the Seven Demon Lords would not respect the Village of Birth's neutrality forever, and something will have to be done to stop them. He also mixed this implication with a suggestion that maybe Yggdrassil will be more 'sane' after his resurrection and more willing to listen to his loyal servants. Whether he believed him or not, Elecmon had no other choice but to join up with him, but under the understanding that Dorumon would 'take responsibility' for the village and baby Digimon's security...

Digimon: Dawn's Glimmering

This is what you know.

It is January 1, 2025, and you have received a ticket to an exclusive resort in Hawaii as part of a mysterious promotional project, and against your better judgment, you have decided to take it. And surprise, surprise, it seems to be the real deal: The Staff are friendly and nice, you receive discounts for everything, the food is tasty and filling, and the resort has free Netflix and a host of other streaming services.

You are probably enjoying yourself, right?

Then a freak blackout, then a storm, covers the entire resort, transporting you and other children and teenagers who had received the same message to the Digital World, a dimension composed of Humans' computer data mixed with their emotional energy.

And by emotional energy, we mean something supernatural in nature mixed with the power of technology and information. Your lives will never be the same...

What You Don't Know

In the 1940s, the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC) and Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer (ENIAC) were invented, one after the other. They created a Digital World*, and their children were Homeostasis and Yggdrassil. Yggdrassil and Homeostasis, during a brief time of concord, birthed numerous other Yggdrassil units, supercomputers who implanted themselves into countless parallel universes, creating Digital Worlds in each of them as well. A few of these Yggdrassil units were benevolent, some were arrogant and tyrannical, but a few were merely devoted to esoteric goals and agendas.

The local Yggdrassil merely wished to find others like himself, yet this goal was already enough to do damage, as in order to breach the walls between universes, said local Yggdrasil had to bust a hole in the Digital World; this would kill those inhabitants who cannot get to safety. Seven of the most powerful Digimon objected to that not just because their homes were threatened, but because they wanted Yggdrasil's power for themselves.

These Seven Digimon, later known as the Seven Demon Lords/Seven Deadly Sins, attacked Yggdrasil as the latter was about to begin his plan, and killed him. They then took over the Digital World, replacing Yggdrassil's destructive neglect with their own destructive malice.

Dorumon, the leader of Yggdrassil's Royal Knights, decided to resurrect him by recruiting eight human children (although adults would do if there are not enough children) to partner with eight Digimon, and the bonds that they form were intended to create emotional energy that will advance the Digimons' evolutions and their skills. After that, the plan is for them to overthrow the Seven Deadly Sins and then use the power of their bonds to revive Yggdrasil... Who would be free to burst open holes in the Digital World once more in an attempt to contact his siblings, as well as Homeostasis, Yggdrassil Prime, the ABC Computer, and ENIAC. Note that he does not plan on telling you this, as some secrets are best kept hidden.

So yes, this is a morally grey tale where you choose between willful evil and wanton destruction, unless you figure things out and come up with your own solution. Then things are black and white once more.

*Atanasoff and ENIAC were Canon Characters until Digimon Adventure Tri retconned their existence, by the way, see this link. And yes, they were Canon Characters before Yggdrasil was a thing.

Rules

1.) No Godmoding or Powergaming, aka no controlling other players' actions, no defeating your enemy in one shot, and no shrugging off all hits without a magical shield.
2.) You can have multiple characters and can run both a Human and a Digimon.
3.) Be polite to others.
4.) Caveat to 1.) You can defeat your enemy in one shot if you have a Mega and they have a Rookie, but doing so will be looked down upon.
5.) Romance is allowed, whether same-sex or opposite-sex; just keep it SFW.
6.) The Royal Knights are still alive or truly dead/deleted, and so they cannot be played by players. However, they can be NPCs partnered with Human PCs. Fair warning, by the way, this will be additional workload for the GM Team.

Last Chance - A Star Wars Rebel Cell RP

Enter Last Chance. Originally composed of a group of political prisoners that fled an Imperial transport in 8 B.B.Y, Last Chance have been reported exterminated by the ISB numerous times before mysteriously reappearing elsewhere in the Sarsanna Sector. Whether the Last Chance is an continuation of the original cell or a splinter cell, it's irrelevant by this point. Anyone who can tell you the truth either doesn't want to, has forgotten the truth or is dead. Unlike other rebel cells, Last Chance lacks a physical figure, only receiving transmissions from a mysterious individual known only as 'Fulcrum'.

The foes were suppressed in the next few minutes, although this skirmish showed that insurgents, despite not having Noble Arms, were not to be underestimated. As the survivors of the warlord forces were arrested, it was all Crown Prince Shinyahito could do to stop the refugees from lynching the captured foes; due process had to be observed lest they become no better than the enemy. His next words to Cristina were, "Yes, I'm planning something. Maybe a visit to Lubao and Flores Pagkanta Corriente; she's caused enough trouble to our rear areas."

He then mused, "It's best that my sister not participate in that visit, however, a Japanese Imperial Princess burning down a Philippine City will dig up memories of the 1940s not related to Noble Arms. Speaking of that... Do you know that most of the first Japanese Arms Masters gained their Noble Arms by realizing that their war was wrong?"

Mission Five - La Naval de Manila, Segunda Vez/Segundo Beses/Second Time

Built by the South Koreans for the Philippines in much better times, the BRP Jose Rizal was a smooth, tall ship that looked like a mobile fortress on the horizon, whose battlements were brimming with missiles and autocannons, and whose raised deck was able to hold a helicopter. Now, it was the centerpiece of what remained of the Philippine Navy, which was waiting to rendezvous with the combined Korean and JSDF fleets, as well as a US Navy Carrier Group. Rear Admiral Adrian Absalo, Task Force Obsidian's patron and most reliable source of support, had gotten sick due to the stress of his job; he hadn't been the same since the failed 'diplomatic meeting' at Phnom Pheh.

This put the Philippine Navy under the command of Admiral Yi Yeol, an old grandfatherly man with a finely-groomed white beard and mustache, who had chosen to meet with Task Force Obsidian's remaining members in the BRP Jose Rizal, instead of his own Sejong the Great-class Destroyer. Accepting the hospitality of the Filipino Ship's briefing room, the Admiral faced Myron and the much-diminished group of Arms Masters, now bereft of Nico Makri and Lei Qingshe, as well as 'Sister' Marta Rocha and, of course, their leader, Noel Alonso.

"People of Task Force Obsidian; those who fought so hard and so long and made so many sacrifices," Admiral Yi said in a solemn tone that reverberated with respect; his English was near-perfect. "We stand at a crossroads. Nico Makri has vanished, while Lei Qingshe has been forced to fake her death or is Superbia's prisoner. First Lieutenant Noel Alonso himself is in the hands of the enemy, but a mission is underway to rescue him; you can thank Myron for guilting the Seven Virtues to do it for free."

His eyes met Myron's; the Special Agent bowed down in acknowledgement. Then the Korean Admiral continued, "Now, for the game plan."

There was a projector screen in the briefing room of the ship, which showed everyone a map, complete with estimated dates, times, and predictions of allied and enemy movements.

"As you can see," Admiral Yi Yeol spoke, "I've estimated the simplest, yet also the most effective courses of both our naval forces and the enemy's. Both sides' strategies are simple - The Chinese want to break us before we can fully organize and consolidate, then push on to join up with warlord forces in the City of Lubao, assuming it has not fallen to the PGNS' forces by now - The Crown Prince has decided to help take that place and arrest Flores Pagkanta Corriente, by the way. But enough tangents; we've rendezvoused and gathered, and we can now push west, and meet the Chinese PLA Navy at a place of our own choosing."

Looking at Myron and the rest, the Admiral continued his briefing with, "The BRP Jose Rizal and Task Force Obsidian will be essential to this; the PRC's 'Chinese Zodiac' has been much diminished as well, and we expect you to strike the killing blow. Cao Bao, one of their prime assets and the one who we believe was responsible for Qingshe's... disappearance, may also be in the Chinese Flagship, the Guangdong-class Nuclear Aircraft Carrier. If the reports are true, kill him. If they're not, just put down the remnants of the Zodiac. Either way, the dates on the map are accurate; they do show that you have two to three days before the battle starts - I recommend that you talk among yourselves, prepare, and pray for victory."

Sure, but it depends on the route you take. You either have to be an Outer Rim smuggler, the head of a wealthy corporation or a Senator to finance a rebel cell.

I'm not going to enforce what background your financier have to be but just keep in mind that I will doubt the capability of your character to finance a Rebel cell if they were a simple back alley spice dealer.
