Reluctantly retired roleplayer.

Except when I'm not.

Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

So, just as a whole, making sure I know where we're at thing, what stuff is still out for the count from the CME?

Everything that's battery or electricity operated? Barring things on the power grid since it seems like that's been fixed?

So, like, cars and cellphones and.... a whole bunch of stuff that I can't list because my brain is dead and I gotta run....

The downtown core currently has power, so that's City Dionysia, Rosseau Square, Overtown and Olympus. These areas are pretty much running as normal aside from the fact emergency services are drawn else where leaving them vulnerable. The areas most affected by the CME would be Lower East Side, The Wharf, The Sound and Little Santiago. These four areas would be ones where cars and the like probably aren't working properly. The rest of the city would likely have battery operated devices and what not up and running again but are still without general power.
@Holy Soldier, @Lord Wraith, @FantasyChic, @The One, @Dblade26

You guys are already accepted and still need to post your finished Character Sheets!

~KL~

I'm kind of holding off until I see the IC develop. As it stands there's no one necessarily to set Mayhew up against like there was before with Sam's character. That and I'm also still brainstorming a hero character.
@FantasyChic, I made Ellara's roommate a waitress at the Silver Knot. Got to love all that seven degrees of separation fun stuff.
@Tojin: Unfortunately I wasn’t able to accept your character. There were a few technical details missing and overall--while not bad--the Sheet seemed lacking. The abilities as well needed some further explanation, something that wasn’t even really mentioned in the Bio.

@Nemaisare: Accepted, tentatively but only because I was wondering if you’d be able to elaborate on why a normal person would potentially endanger a transplant heart fighting crime. I love the character, and I like the call to action via that type of tragedy, but it brings me pause because it’s a heart. Those aren’t cheap, and you’ve got pretty strict follow up procedures (I know for a number of years following the operation) if I’m not mistaken.

@Natty: Accepted- however, I’d like to see more in the area of a clearer image of the character, especially because he’s now inhabited by a prevalent demonic spirit. But I feel that can be shown in the IC.

@Knighthawk: Unfortunately, I’m not able to accept the character. There’s a spark for an interesting character, but I don’t feel you executed it like you could have. On top of that, the grammar mistakes worry for what might be to come ICly.

@FantasyChic: Restricted Acceptance. The character is nice, but there’s a lot going on and you break the cardinal rule of giving us a Mary Sue-esque character. There’s good foundation laced in the sheet, but it’s overshadowed by frivolous information. I don’t think there should be so many “quirks” if they don’t play into the character. I don’t really know WHO the character is because of how she’s been rounded so-well, so my suggestion would be to go back through the character creation rules and brush up in some areas. Also in the bio, some cliche’s and contradictions to look at and I would recommend cutting some of the unnecessary information and focusing more on her motivation/call to action.

@Heathen: Accepted on the condition that you’ll clean up your motivation a bit. Skylar sounds a little too passive, though he is well thought out. I’d like to see a little bit more of an overt call to action even if that means tweaking a few things in the backstory.

@Dirge: There’s some technical details missing, but the character is wonderfully thought out and excites me with his potential. So the character is on probation until you go through the Character Creation rules and add/take out a couple of things.
I'll be finishing my CS tomorrow.
Been having a bit of trouble in keeping in touch with @Stein. Seems we're ships passing in the night. So in the best interest of the RP, I'm returning to the original plan of reviewing the sheets myself. Reviews and acceptances are to follow.

Just a heads up/apology, I am unfortunately ultimately going to have to say 'No' to two of the submissions. I thank you all for your time and patience and I have enjoyed reading your sheets.
I'm really itching for this to start, but in the meantime is there anything I should change in my cs? I kind of wanted to start him out pretty underpowered so that I could build him up a lot.

As far as I'm aware of, there's no outstanding issues with your CS. I myself haven't sat down to comb through it with a fine tooth but Stein has.
Out of curiosity, what are some of the majors at the Grimm University of Nature and Science? I'm having Esther attend school there.

(also i promise i'm almost done with my sheet)

EDIT: Aaand done! Her backstory's a bit sparse, but it's passable! ...Right?

If this is still a problem, just give Esther whatever Major you'd like.
Today was the day the sheets were being reviewed yes?

I've been talking to Stein and reviews are underway. I'm sure they'll be posted today.
I just can't imagine any individual with two loving parents dressing up at night to fight crime. I think there's something inside that changes during tragedy and depending on how you deal with it you either choose to help others or help yourself.
