- If we take a character already mentioned in the timelines or backstories of other players, is it okay to ask them to change that to fit a different version of the character? Not alter it in such a way as to change the other player's arcs or anything, just change some details to reflect a different version.
So long as that character is not currently active in their arc, yes. If the character in question is being used in the player's current arc they have first call over it.
- Can those characters from the comics not claimed by other players be killed off in the course of the IC? I know the grand tradition of superhero comics is that no one really dies and that death is impermanent (รก la The Death of Superman) but the death of characters always give more weight to a villain's credibility.
Depending on the caliber of the character, I'd likely say no if we are talking about killing off an A-Lister.
- Is there a posting requirement? I can't see one in the OOC opener and I thought it would be better to check first rather than disappoint later.
There was a posting requirement, but as you can tell a few of us had some actively blurbs and Wraith hasn't enforced it all too much. I've been meaning to get a new Space Ghost post up and figure out what we're doing with the Batman arc since GreenGrenade is really busy as of late. Anyway, initially Wraith had a "once every two weeks" expectation.
Gowi pretty much summed it here. On that note, this RP while still open isn't exactly a fast burner and is completely self led. I ran into some difficulty a week ago with another player who was expecting me to lead the RP. I just wanted to give you a heads up that this is a collective writing exercise, a venue per say for you to display what stories you want to tell. It's not really a traditional RP where the GM introduces plots for the players to chase.
Just wanted to clarify that so we don't waste your time if you're looking for something more traditional.
