Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Btw boss, is my character good to go?
Aye, I actually intended ya try and address some of those things in that lore doc I sent ya, though with twists of sorts.

For starters the Ulayh Orcs utilize more of an ancestral worship instead of praying to deities of sorts, though they do have some ancient family memebers who have said to ascended to a godlike status. I’m expanding more on this as I can imagine it.

With Ulayh’s penchant for slave labor, the act of farming itself isn’t very well respected since in Ulayh it’s considered Slave work. Not helped by the ruling family purposely spreading this ideal in order to dehumanize (deorcitize?) their Slave population. Land-owners on the other hand are much more respected; since they have to be the ones to not only keep their slaves in line but also defend their lands from raiders, those who own the farms tend to be strong warriors themselves. Indeed, strong warriors tend to own their own land since the current king believes only they are capable of protecting it.

While Might-Makes-Right is still something supported in Ulayh, there’s a twist to it; the current king is trying to change the ancient customs so that you can’t sinply off a guy who disagrees with you, putting in more checks and balances. This he learned from their human allies. Of course this isn’t for any sense of justice or fairness either; this is just a ploy by the ruling class to consolidate power among himself and his allies. This way some upstart or ambitious warrior can’t just come in, challenge him in a fight, get lucky, and become the new king. Basically, they want to make Right-Makes-Might, where the mighty already rule.

Incidentally Ulayh has pride itself for not falling into cannibalism thanks to its prosperous crop growth, trade deals, and success in piracy and raiding. They like to lord over other orc clans who have turned to or had a history of cannibalism as being little more than beasts in the shape of men. Which of course is just another tool to make the general populace of Ulayh show extreme prejudice against slaves, who have turned to cannibalism since their masters would rarely give them enough food to survive. It’s not uncommon for “Slop”, which is the grey goo fed to slaves, being nothing more than the remains of their fellows stewed until it’s form is indistinguishable. Though sometimes it might just be the remains of other creatures, like animal bones, hooves, intestines, etc.
@Thinslayer

You have my axe. Call for me an I shall be there for you! I got lore out the wazzoo and ideas in the brainpan.

It’s fairly bare bones, but I have more details written up elsewhere.

Name: Goro “Apple”
Appearance:

Species: Orc
Origins: Ulayh
Skintone: Olive
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Black
Notable Features: Missing Left Hand from mid-forelimb down. Currently replaced with a hook-hand.
Other Information: A former fisherman from the town of Ulayh. A prosperous but violent costal orc town. The oldest male member of his family after his father was killed during his one as a raider. Lost his hand during a violent storm. Had since then chosen to leave home to discover more about the sudden appearance of magic. Tough but swift. Swings a mean club. An excellent swimmer even without a hand. Has a sharp eye and a keen ear. Goggles are a momento from his father: they help him see things underwater as well as protect his eyes from glaring bright light.
Livia | Katherine

Upon opening the doors, Livia and Katherine would be struck by a cool but refreshing burst of air. Compared to the rest of Underhaven which was musty and humid, the inside of this place was cool but pleasant scented. The place was dimly lit with candles that gave off a golden flame, providing just enough light for Livia to see inside without too much difficulty. There weren’t many patrons here; there was a table with a few strange looking characters, another tables that had a grizzled looking drow man, and a kobold that was cleaning tables and sweeping the floor.

Notably there was no one at the bar. The place seemed to not be open though people o bioisly were allowed to come and go as they pleased. As the two girls would approach the drow man spoke to them. ”If you’re looking for Lucilia she is not here. She has business to attend to on the surface. You’ll ought to wait here or continue your business elsewhere.” The drow man didn’t seem to bother the two girls beyond that, merely sitting at his table and drinking his wine. Another thing to note was that at one of the tables which had a blind girl, a strange looking tiefling, and a pink-haired gnome, was some sort of snake man who appeared to be spitting into glass vials.

Ethan

The men didn’t seem to budge as Ethan tried to explain his case. They looked at him with suspicion as one of the older men whispered something, causing a younger farmer to run back towards the village. ”Whatever your business is, you’d best hurry and finish it. One of our men will accompany you while you’re here. Don’t try nothing. We may seem like farm folk to you, but no one settles into the Frontier if they don’t know how to handle themselves.” The men lowered their weapons but one armed with an axe was assigned to be Ethan’s escort. He seemed a quiet man but would wander any question Ethan had to the best of his ability.

The village itself wasn’t too dissimilar to the previous one, save for the fact this village dealt in different crops, had a bit more live stock, and seemed to have more old folk instead of children. And just like the previous village the main shop here appeared to be one of the more sturdy buildings; while most had wood or dirt huts, this one seemed to be made of proper timber and stone. So it was either a store or the local official’s home.

Much to Orchid's surprise, there wasn't much of a reaction towards her running towards the enemy line. While there were a few spooked creatures coming out from the stonework, they didn't seem to go after her in particular even as she tried to dodge any oncoming attacks. It made Orchid more worried however; perhaps the enemy was merely waiting for her to get close enough for them to attack all at once. She had managed to reach the bonfire which of course was naught but ash now; it wasn't as if she could expect the monsters in this cave to be bothered to maintain the fire. For better or for worse; the goblins were the only ones who had torches so they could navigate these caves, but it also made them an easy target for the monsters capable of attacking from afar. If she could somehow get the bonfire going again the goblins could ditch their torches and hold their ground here where they'd have visibility.

Wasn't long before someone finally came at her. Or rather, revealed themselves to her. Some sort of talking slime; Orchid assumed this one might be someone like herself, brought to this world after an untimely death. At the very least she didn't hear that last slime she killed say anything, let alone question her. She wasn't sure if this slime was present when monsters attacked the goblins, but the fact he's here and not being harassed by the other monsters gave her a good idea that he was part or at least allied with the group. And who knows how many others were here. Orchid wasn't going to stay for long. "Running from? Running towards." Was all she said before Orchid moved further away from the slimes and the goblins, hurling the stone from her sling towards the slime that spoke to her. Even if she didn’t j kw how to use this weapon very well, she surely couldn’t miss at this close of a range. Hit or miss she went further down the tunnel where her previous camp was.
Orchid was hardly paying attention to most of what was going on. At some point in the conversation he had left to return to his things so he could grab his food, only to later come back after having eaten. It didn't help that everyone was talking a lot using big words that he didn't understand without listening very carefully. But he had a rough idea of what Leosin wanted; basically he wanted the group to go back to the camp and finish the job of destroying the nest. Certainly a challenge but one that Orchid was willing to pursue. Though he imagined that beyond whatever information the party would get from Leosin, they wouldn't get much help then that. Orchid knows that much at least. When he did arrive back inside the room Leosin mentioned something about a reward, but Orchid would let someone else handle the money.

"Hmph. Then we get ready. For sneaky hunting! If Dragon too big for cave, then no worry about dragon. But caves small. And only one way in. Maybe?" Orchid figured that there was only one entrance into the den, but perhaps there was another? Preferably from outside of the camp. Eager as he was to fight off a hoard of cultists their job was to destroy the nest, not the cult. Though now he really wished he did come here with an orcish hoard; at least then their numbers would be enough that they could conceivably win a direct confrontation with the unified cult. "So... What do?"
I’ll get a post up by tomorrow at the latest. Sorry for the long silence.
If no one has anything in particular you want to do, or want to explore the rest of the chapel, we can do a long rest. Don't forget to subject a food ration too; you need at least one ration or something that can suffice for a ration to get a full long rest. Otherwise you'll only get to heal half instead of the full.

Also for longrest heals, what you will do for those is roll all your hitdie regardless if you expanded all of them, and add your Con bonus multiples by your level. Whatever the total for that would be is how much you're healed. So the formula is Hitdie+Con(Level) = HP healed. If you've only just rested without eating or drinking for that day, you only get half. Do that twice and you'll gain a level of exhaustion, and continue gaining them if you don't eat before you rests. Additional difficulties and penalties may also apply depending on the circumstances, such as cold weather, hot weather, disease, etc.

Sorry for the double posting, but I made the edits. A quick list of em in order for your convenience:

His name is Ograh. Like Ogre but with an "rah" sound at the end instead of an "ger".

His father is named Gorshok, his mother is Orchid, grandfather is Urk, and I also introduced his grandmother Dushnia. It's not mentioned in the CS, but she died before he was born. Urk fought in the great war, but then traveled around the world to help his old friends back in the Legion. That's how he got to Skyrim, met Dushnia, and got interested in learning more about his people. he would continue to travel to learn, taking Dushnia with him, and later after amassing money from his friends settle down in the Imperial City to raise a family in relative safety, as well as making sure his son has an opportunity to join the Legion.

I replaced the lockpicks with a prybar. Not as light as a lockpick, but fits his brute force style better. He keeps it in his backpack.

Made the note that his spell often fizzles or shortens out early. He thinks it's because he's not a good mage and thus has bad control over his familiar.

It was mentioned at the very bottom but I expanded more of it the relationship section, but Kat gets his Skooma from the Khajiit caravans. Right now he's actually traveling with one towards Skyrim. The leader of the Caravan, Do'Morath, is a friend from the 114th who first gave Ograh skooma to deal with his traumatic experiences. They both left around the same time and Ograh helped Do'Morath between his own business, and decided to tag along with him as extra muscle as well as have access to a ready supply of Skooma (As long as he works for it of course). I may or may not have Ograh let his greed get the better of him and try to have him swipe some Skooma from Do'Morath is he starts getting more reliant on Skooma, or whatever would be more interesting at the given moment.
@Gcold

Copy that. When I'm at my computer I'll make the edits and additions, let you check em over once they're done.
