That's cause I thought, hmm what sounds low powered? Yeah that looks good.
Not shoot railgun arrows nor even whoopity whoop between being physical/being ethereal. Yami is hiding from your attacks because they'll oneshot her -_-
In fact James CAN hit her in fact. Fireball magic from his sword, freeze her shadows or just wait for her to come out -_-
Nor do I use heat vision to go, hey look a heat source amongst a huge heat source! Of course it's easy to find!

Angela Arthur James Jessica
James shrugged his shoulders simply in reply. Not his fault he had brought some spare clothes. Angela made a satisfied face as Janna dried her off, much like a puppy would after having their ears scratched.
Arthur gulped nervously as Nidhogg's voice could suddenly be heard. Oh god no.
"O-of course Jack, I mean I am looking after them as per orders." He replied stiffly as even Angela hid slightly behind Janna a little while gripping her arm tightly. Jackson/Nidhogg scared Angela to no end.
Even the usual calm James seemed a little put off by Jack's sudden arrival as he now settled back down next to Jessica.
"Of course, Arthur does whatever Georgie says with glee." Jessica chuckled under her breath before smiling towards Jack.
"Been awhile hasn't it?" She asked innocently. Despite the others discomfort she seemed perfectly fine.

Rowan continued sitting silently as he had stopped listening to everyone at this stage. He was caught up in his own thoughts, so caught up that he didn't notice the food was starting to burn till he smelled some smoke.
Looking down as he snapped out of his daze he casually removed the frying pan from the fire and offered some slightly crispy bacon and sausages to the others.
This die?

Nope me and Yami are still around, the fight will begin when vordak is ready.
James continued moving as he could feel the bloodlust closing in, he swung his now once again frozen blade towards the swinging limb. He had his eyes shut this entire time, with all the smoke around seeing was a bother so he would have to rely on his ability to sense its bloodlust and also smell the damn thing. It reeked of death and decay, so it was rather easy to smell. Though the smoke did also make smelling it difficult as well.
Suddenly James felt himself be tugged downwards before disappearing into the pool of shadows instantly as he was caught completely off-guard and thus couldn't defend himself from his attack.
The creature's arm swung through midair as James was now gone from the spot he was standing.
@Cruallassar
Well it wouldn't be if you guys were actually LOW powered for god's sake. (EDIT: Not including Yami, he had to buff up Jasmine to be on equal playing field)
@Doc Doctor
Umm doctor, you can't use heat seeking vision (or whatever it's called) in a forest fire -_- There is heat everywhere.
Sure you can fiddle around with echolocation, but that's the only way to get around in it for you.
@Cruallassar
Yeah that would be a nice feature as well.
James continued to stand there as one rune continued to glow. It was mostly smothered by the smoke, but if one got close enough they could see the bright violet rune slightly.
The creature, when reaching James' illusion, would go straight through it as it only affected the senses of sight and smell. It effectively was just a figment of their imagination.
James had used the smoke as, well a smokescreen, to cover his tracks as he now slowly made his way around the clearing. He could sense the presence of a creature reeking of bloodlust so he was, for the sake of having no words to describe it, getting the f*ck out of there as quickly as possible.
He had his mouth covered the entire time to prevent himself from breathing in the smoke as the blue, yellow, green and indigo runes all begun to glow brightly. James had begun counting down. 50 seconds away.
