Hmm, I didn't make PVP style rules. Here's a makeshift ruleset:

I'll roll 1d6 vs 1d6 for each player and take both results into account for the final result.
You can opt in or out of PVP by just saying so in the OOC and I'll add it into the list. Players must respect other players who don't want to PVP.
You can't do something to someone and then immediately opt out, though.

Sound good @Kenshi@Vatonage do you both opt into PVP?

It is early morning. The skeleton staff produced a bazillion cups of perfect tea of all kinds. Ada went into a long winded explaination of Golem-brain micro-architecture. Marina made a majestic entrance, went to make a speech, and then promptly didn't speak. Galeini the GREAT congratulates Ada's technical ability and starts a round of applause. The Illithid takes his seat at the top of the table and declares the meeting open. Shandris reminds everyone that their enemies are allying. Shandris suggests taking the river called The Tooth, which would succumb the Kracanni Nomads to you. All the skeletons drop their teacups in perfect harmony, smashing all the cutlery and tea going everywhere, before stepping backwards into the shadows.

also holy smokes, I knew we were in different timezones but I think that puts you 7 hours ahead of me.

@Yankee I need to start considering one soon, but haven't closed it yet. We have room for another. There's no post requirements and feel free to ask for an update if you need one at any point. I expect people will break into groups sooner or later to pursue different goals which might make things a little more manageable for people who prefer a different pace.

Also, first time I read that I thought you were just going to play a magical sloth for some reason...

Ok, I'll be NPCing Krieg for now.

@POOHEAD189 Krieg enters the Sanctum area where Phardax is keeping the prisoner. I imagine since he's a minotaur he looks like he's out for blood. He points at the prisoner and says he's going to interrogate her now. I imagine Phardax says something at that point? And Krieg challenges him to a battle of honor, hoofing at the floor.

He'll then charge forward but Phardax will have reacted quicker with his magic if you did use INVOKE. So, what happens next?

EDIT: Confirmed with Kenshi he's bowing out of my mechanics style rps in the tabletop forum. There's no hard feelings on either side, I'll be asking the people who showed interest previously if they still want to play.

You turn down the offer of the suspicious bubbling brew. Crash! The chairs reverberate as every skeleton drops their drinks simultaeneously onto the floor, destroying the lion's share of the china collection and covering the floor in a thick puddle of mixing teas. Some of those items were ancient! Oh well. Who's cleaning this up? You look over to see the skeletons eerily backing away from you and standing in the darkened corners of the room. You are left seeing only the pinpricks of their eyes. Looks like they're a little overtuned today.

The drink is delicious, but it is a little on the uncomfortably hot side (if necromancers worry about such things?) You prop your feet up on the table, momentarily feeling as if the chair will fall backwards, but you quickly readjust your balance and find a very comfortable seating position. Who says you can't be evil in style?
