Sleep was invented by the communists to reduce the time we spend active.

That awkward moment when you glimpse a dog stylist advertisement and before you realize what it is, you assume it's an ad to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

A friend introduced me to a site called nanowrimo.org Technically a novel-writing site but they seem to have useful stuff for writing in general in the forums.
Hmm, as I'm thinking about the sheet for Galbar's seasons I realized that there's the possibility of doing something magical.
What are everyone's thoughts on really extreme seasons, or really long ones that can last decades as in A Song of Ice and Fire, or perhaps both?
Let's not go too extreme since we want the mortals to be self-sufficient but really long ones is tempting although I'm curious as to how that would work with different climates and biomes.
If you guys help each other, what will drive you to seek her aid?
We won't always help each other. The fact that there is a magnificent citadel they built together would no doubt lead to politics to gain control of it since it is the symbol of power. Logos/other power hungry gods might enlist you to help secure his reign or Vakarlon/Vestec/anyone else might enlist you to take the previous down a peg or two.
Yes. If you made it, you gotta post it. Vestec's Shattered plains, the Deepwoods, the Fractal Oceans, the Tundras and caves of death. ALL OF IT MUST BE CATALOGED. *Maniacal laughter*
They aren't the caves of DEATH. They were originally meant to protect Ug the caveman from the elements...
For all of your creations could you please make a nice CS giving the basics of them (Name, purpose, description, things it does.) and PM them too me so I can stick them in the CS post I reserved so we all know what everyone's done?
Does that include things like terraforming Galbar?
@Cyclone Let's also consider that direct one on one confrontation isn't the only thing. Slough could bury Kyre in lifeforms, Logos could discover Vesetec weakness and use it against him, Mammon could build powerful seals and bind away Zephyrion.
If Power was all that mattered, the Olympians would never have ruled the titans.
Agreed. A direct combat ranking isn't that helpful when indirect combat could greatly effect the outcome of a feud. Still, I appreciate the list.
@Mardox To an extent. In Logos's eyes though, he's already earned the title through great deeds. To walk the Road is an painful act, and he carried with him the memory of the Old so this world could be New. He has walked the In Between.
It's no carving dad open with a scythe, but it's nothing to scoff at. As far as he's concerned, you lot are a bunch of petulant upstarts who have no idea just what powers your using.
Of course we'd be even in a direct fight. Hell; were designed that way. But the Immortal game is never won through direct conflict. The reason the gods scheme is because it's the only challenge we have left.
Sides, I now have MATTER to use in this reality. Physics is in full swing, and Logos has plenty of tricks to use now.
I'm not denying that Logos has tricks. As for the walking the Road and Old Universe stuff, the other gods don't know this and they don't see it as actually helping the New Universe become a thing any more than they helped. As for memories of the Old Universe, we all have them and here's a little about mine:
Vakarlon is the result of a good-hearted mortal charlatan being force-fed the essence of a Dark God. Hence the two sets of memories.
