I would prefer not to have archetypes, and just let everyone come up with whatever character concept they like. As for my character I'm thinking that his parents were an Asgardian battle mage and a Xandarian criminal who met while hiding out in New York City. Basically he grew up all over the realms and space. As an adult he uses his portal magic to rob many institutions, which are now after him so he's hiding out in New York where he was born.

Take whatever time you need. Mental health should always come first.
Daichi & Dozer

Daichi wanted to scream as the Airdramon dived at the immobile Dozer. But like a miracle out of nowhere, a fireball streaked across the sky, knocking the Airdramon back. As Daichi rose to his feet, another teen walked up to beside him, Digivice in hand. Meanwhile up in the air, a flying lion plunged into the Airdramon. Daichi naturally assumed that these new individuals were tamer partners.

Before Daichi could thank the newcomer, he made a comment about cleaning up other people’s messes. Daichi found this incredibly rude, so he instead went to check on Dozer. The large tank like Digimon was still lying on top of a totalled car, his eyes closed.

Daichi placed a hand on Dozer, “You okay in there buddy?”

Suddenly Dozer’s eyes opened, “I think I have a concussion.”

While Daichi was elated to see that Dozer was alright, he was confused by his statement, “What do you mean a concussion?”

“Well I hit my head and blacked out for a bit,” Dozer said as he righted himself, “Isn’t that called a concussion?”

“Can Digimon even get concussions?” Daichi asked.

“I don’t know. You’re the one who goes to school.”

Daichi just chuckled as Dozer began to drive toward the battling lion Digimon and Airdramon. Dozer began to aim his cannon at the Airdramon, but was unsure of taking the shot as the two Digimon duelled in the air. The opportunity came for Dozer as the lion Digimon knocked the dragon Digimon out of the air.

“Hyper Cannon!” Dozer shouted.

A massive missile launched out of the cannon on Dozer’s head. The missile slammed into the falling Airdramon, pushing it back. As the missile lodged itself in the Airdramon, both Digimon and ordnance collided with a nearby building, unleashing a massive explosion. The resulting incineration reduced the Airdramon to small bits of data, returning to the Digital World. As the dust settled, Daichi was glad that the evil Digimon was gone, but he also noticed how much collateral damage the battle had caused.

“Man, ATLAS is going to be mad,” Daichi sighed as he turned to the other tamer, “I don’t think I’ve ever caused this much damage in one battle before.”

Dozer then drove over to Daichi, “I’ve seen enough superhero movies with you Daichi that I know that is part of being a hero. You are not doing it right if some buildings don’t get wrecked.”

Daichi just sighed again, “I should probably show you less popcorn movies,” he then turned back toward the other human partner, “By the way, my name’s Daichi. And that big tank guy is Dozer.”

Sorry about the delay on my post. I was planning on posting Monday, but some stuff came up.
Trineon
Lord of Rivers, Lakes, and Oceans

The water god slammed his makeshift club into the mortal’s head, causing it to collapse to the ground. Trineon then turned to another mortal, only to notice out of the corner of his eye that the mortal was back on its feet, blade in hand. Trineon just had enough time to move out of the way, the mortal slicing through a portion of the shirt Trineon wore. While he missed flesh, Trineon was upset over how close a mortal came to making a god bleed.

With a quick turn, Trineon spun back around, his club weapon slamming into his enemy’s throat. Once again the mortal crumpled to the ground, gurgling noises being stifled by his helmet. Trineon then turned to face another warrior, only to see that most were already defeated. However, their apparent leader still stood.

That would change very quickly as the sun god ran his blade through him. What happened next was kind of a blur to Trineon. The leader began to glow, as Alasayana pulled O’Menus away from him. Just as that happened, the mortal exploded in some kind of destruction spell. It was bright enough that Trineon had to cover his eyes.

When Trineon removed his hands, he found the battle done. Many mortal soldiers lay strewn upon the ground, a variety of wounds visible on their bodies. Trineon turned toward his fellow gods, seeing that Ashte had spared one mortal’s life, at least as long as he could answer questions.

What immediately caught Trineon’s eye was that the so-called priestess had begun to move. Trineon rushed over to her so that he could see how her condition had changed. Trineon knelt next to her prone form, placing his hand on her head.

“Are you alright little one?” he asked softly.

As Avi continued to flick his wrists, channelling his arcane energy, Morgana finished her spell. The rush of magic pouring out of her almost caused Avi to lose his concentration, as the room lit up in multiple colours. Avi recognized the spell as one of detecting past movements, an incantation he had been meaning to learn.

As Avi finished his spell, all the hidden crossbows in the house began to give off a blue glow. With the crossbows now illuminated, Avi prepared his wand to cast a spell to find the explosives. But before he could begin casting, Morgana interrupted him, enquiring about his spell.

“My name is Xaviron. If you want to use this spell, you need to speak some Lemurian. They used to use this spell to navigate booby trapped temples,” Avi replied, “But maybe you could at least cast it with just the somatic component of the spell, as some people don’t need to do the verbal component. I guess I could show you the basics at least.”

Avi walked over to Morgana, raising his wand in his right hand, “I take it you don’t use an arcane focus. That might make this tricky. You know what? Just follow my lead.”

Avi began to move his hands, showing Morgana the first parts of the spell. But less than ten seconds into the lesson, Avi’s concentration was broken by the sound of gunfire. He immediately moved his wand to a combat position, and checked his waist to make sure he had his gun.

“That does not sound good,” Avi said, “I’m going to see what’s going on.”

Avi walked back to the front door of the house of traps, gun in one hand, wand in the other. Avi then poked his head out the door, spotting several bikers approaching the residence. Avi quickly ducked back in when one tossed a fireball toward his comrades.

Avi turned back toward Morgana, “It seems we’re not the only magic users here.”

While Avi mulled over fighting another mage, he also thought of what spell to use. He had prepared a malfunction spell, but that would probably only be able to stop one gun. And they had a lot of guns. Instead, Avi decided to cast a spell that could target the whole group of attackers.

Once again Avi poked his head out the door, this time raising his wand, “Procella venti.”

A blast of air erupted forth from his wand, sending a gust toward the bikers, one that Avi hoped would be able to knock at least a few of them off their bikes.

@King Cosmos
I am interested in this as well. As for tone, I have vague memories of watching season one of Daredevil and Jessica Jones. But as it is set in the MCU as a whole, how crazy can we go with powers? A character idea I have is a part-Asgardian part-New Yorker with portal magic, who steals stuff across the nine realms and space, but is currently hiding out on Midgard in New York while some power is looking for him (maybe the Nova Corps). If that concept doesn't work, let me know and I can come up with something a little more grounded.
@Bright_Ops
Thanks for putting up with my various requests for edits. Your sheet is now accepted and can be moved over to the characters tab.

@mito
While your sheet is very much a work in progress, there is one thing right now that I would like you to change. Your character is currently listed at 71 years old, and I was asking for adult dragons, 75+ years. If you could bump up her age by a little bit it would be appreciated. Also thanks for the dragon image drive, it will be very useful.

Announcement. It is now 3 pm EST, so I switching the application tag to closed. The following users can still submit sheets, as they already expressed an interest: @Dead Cruiser, @Nakushita, @mito, @King Of Soul.

For anyone else, you have my apologies but I will not be accepting any more sheets, except from the users listed above. We already have a lot of players and I want to keep it manageable.
@Mintharsul
Thanks for the question! So humans hunting dragons does work similar to how you thought. One of the main ways will be by setting traps, as immobilizing a dragon makes it easier for slayer to reach its weak points. A skilled slayer would know a dragon’s weak points, and will attack in large groups. Basically if enough pointy spears are present, one of them is likely to pierce through a dragon’s scales. Magic is also very useful against dragons, as illusion casters often find themselves in the profession of dragon slaying. Elemental magic varies against individual dragons, such as fire magic hurting an ice dragon or the reverse.

As for humans pooling their magic, I had the idea that magic power amplification is a subset of magic. Basically only certain human mages can pool their magic into others. So if a large nation, like the Empire of Huldern, were to rally all their amplification mages, they could all focus on one spell, powering it up to insane levels. And yes liberal use of magic is looked down in human culture, unless the magic user works for the ruling class or is in some other respected occupation.

@psych0pomp
An urban born, blood controlling, bounty hunter dragon? Awesome. I really like your character, so much that she is approved. Please move the sheet over to the characters tab.

@King Of Soul
I’m going to say no to extraterrestrial dragons. While its a cool concept, I don’t plan to have any aliens in this roleplay.

@Kidgoat
The only issue I have with your character is that you mentioned the Fae still being around. If I wasn’t clear in my first OOC post, the Fae left this dimension several generations back, so no one alive right now has ever seen one. If you remove the mention of the Fae from your back story, your character sheet should be good.

@mito
Thanks for the excitement. While I would prefer you come up with a new character, it is okay to take some ideas from other characters you’ve played.

Now an announcement. This roleplay has attracted a lot more attention than I thought it would. As such I will be cutting off applications soon. Anyone intersted in participating must either post a sheet, or at least post here in the OOC with your intent to participate. You must do one of these things by tomorrow: Sunday, September 19, at 3:00 pm EST.
@XxFellsingxX
What I meant is that if you reference the events with Rona in the actual roleplay, remember that it is impossible for dragons, without using the glamour, to speak to humans. But as your character sheet is now, it is perfectly acceptable and can be moved to the characters tab.
