Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room) ->> Up, Up, and Away
Skills: Spanish

Before everything happened, Beatrice was a process server. It was her job to find people, get them to confirm their identity, and then serve them papers. Her specialty was for the tough cases - people often surrounded by bodyguards, adoring fans, or other irritating obstacles. On the side, she earned the majority of her income as essentially a professional stalker. She found people - sometimes cheaters, sometimes runaways, on occasion an actual murder victim - and let the clients know what their whereabouts were. It had been a case that took her away from her native Justice, California and brought her to Coney Island just days before the world ended. Her survival instincts had kept her alive and in decent condition, with every rational option, every logical calculation being the determining factor in what she did.

Up until the day that James murdered Dick.

The rational choice would have been to stay behind in Newnan, to enjoy the safety and security afforded by a walled city. But for some odd reason, Beatrice had felt compelled to leave - she made an emotional choice, not a rational one. When she agreed to help them destroy Eden, she had more or less expected to die. Attacking Eden hadn't been a logical move to make - it wasn't one with favorable odds of survival. And sure, she had gotten through that experience with all of her limbs still attached (even gaining some cans of O's) but she didn't have a real connection to her fellow survivors yet. Her friends, Ryan and James, were dead.

But survival odds were boosted in groups, so she stuck with them. Besides, they had a location in mind - a destination that would reunite them with more people. She was willing to take those odds. And along the way, events required for her to step up and become a leader. She had a family to look out for - something she never really had before, with the exception of her foster parents. She never said it, but she loved Manny, Alex, Thana, and Thalia (some more than others). They were her family. With the revelation that Victor was not going to remain and that she was the only one who had willingly decided to leave, she smiled. Her family was going to be okay then without her.

Before all of this, she would have chosen in a heartbeat to stay here. There were more people, more facilities, more supplies, more security... everything was set up to ensure that she would survive. Yet something about it all just didn't feel right. She wasn't the same person that James had welcomed into Newnan, she wasn't the same fighter who went and attacked Eden - she didn't know who she was anymore. Quarantine so far had reminded her so much of her past, of juvenile detention - it had strict rules and those rules were echoed throughout all of CMB from what she knew.

The news that they wanted her to become a leader here, an officer? It brought a slight tear to Beatrice's eyes, mostly because no one had ever really told her she had potential before, but it made her more confident in her choice. She needed to figure things out before she could live in a place like this. She didn't want to backslide, to become just a survivor and not a person. One day, she'd be ready - but until then, her journey was not finished. She couldn't stop to rest here. "Thank you, Gunny," Beatrice replied, giving him a nod.

She approached Manny first and held out her hand for him to shake, if he wanted to. "Goodbye, old man," she told him with a half smile. She went to Alexander next, giving him a hug and whispering into his ear: "You were always my favorite. Kick some ass. This isn't goodbye - not forever." She knew she didn't have a lot of time, so she didn't stay too long by each person. Her eyes had watered slightly when saying goodbye to Alexander, one of the cracks in her normally calm and collected expression.

Beatrice went to Thana next. She gave Thana a smile for a moment. Thana really seemed to have come into her own here. "I have one request of you... Keep up the O' Wars, will you? Thalia's ego will get too big if she thinks she's won," she whispered to Thana, giving her a hug as well. She then paused for a moment, before whispering to Thana what she planned to do next - she had a case she was taking on.

The last person she went to say goodbye to was Thalia. This one was hard - especially as Thalia wished that she would stay. Beatrice let another tear fall, hearing that. She realized then that if Thalia had asked her before to stay, then she would have signed the paper. Too late now though. "Oye, ojalΓ‘ pudiera quedarme tambiΓ©n, pero tengo algunas cosas que necesito resolver primero. AdemΓ‘s, tengo un caso que investigar para esta chica realmente linda: quiere saber quΓ© le sucediΓ³ a su gente en MΓ©xico 1" Beatrice told her softly. She put a hand gently on Thalia's cheek, not caring about the slight PDA. She was leaving anyways. "Esto no es adiΓ³s para siempre. VolverΓ© algΓΊn dΓa, eso es una promesa.2"

Beatrice gave Thalia a kiss on the cheek, before she walked away and glanced back at the rest of them. She knew most of them from Newnan - she didn't care for about half of them. So she just raised up her hand in a wave of farewell, before she was escorted from the room by Gunny. When she was at the cemetery to pay her respects to her fallen friends, she finally broke down crying completely. She asked Dusty to take her as close as possible to Mexico, not knowing where exactly in Florida they were and what direction she would need to travel.

As for what she said to the graves?

No spoilers.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Jack nodded, very glad that Mexico Beach already had a system in place for orphans. He didn't plan on abandoning his child or dying, but knowing that if something happened, Jamie had a safety net... That helped to reduce a little bit of anxiety he hadn't even been aware that he was harboring. The news though that Froggy had been forcibly removed broke his heart. Froggy had been the closest thing to a real dad that Jack had ever had - and in some ways, he wished Froggy had never returned. He wanted to remember him as he had been in Newnan - not as he was now.

He was shocked to see that someone was actually leaving this place willingly though. Leaving a place like this... it was practically a death sentence. He doubted they would ever see Beatrice again and he had to wonder how long she would last out there, all alone. It was one thing to be out there with a group, as people could look out for each other but... like that? It was practically suicide, as far as he was concerned. However, his mind then was easily distracted again by the realization that his entire family would be together and he smiled. He didn't have to lose Tatiana or Jamie. As he got his slip of paper, Jack laughed slightly. "They aren't wrong about me," he whispered to Tatiana, showing her his slip. Whether Tatiana looked at the slip or not, he folded it up and smiled, looking at Jamie and Tatiana, at Ash and Riley - at all of his friends, new and old.

He couldn't wait for them to get out of quarantine - to get to see this community and the sunshine and breathe fresh air.

John Watts

Location: Serval Industries - R&D Lab
Skills: Superhuman Speed
Watts wasn't expecting for Evelyn to put her hand on his back. While he did like her, his mind was just filled with rage at the moment over the circumstances that caused Andrew's death - and the destruction of his lab! The lab was his one true love and then Andrew was the little cupcake eater. He didn't ever really show affection towards Andrew, but he tolerated his presence and did not protest too much if Andrew was in the lab by himself. For Watts, that meant a lot. He didn't like Andrew, he was annoyed by him, but he respected him. He did not respect Bobbi or Wesley by any means.

Bobbi swung her hammer, failing to hit him and instead falling to the ground at his feet. She screamed at him, before finally flipping him off. Wesley didn't even say anything. Belladonna was surprisingly level headed and had he not been pure rage at the moment, he would have been proud of her. Gardner was no help at all. She didn't seem to think that he was serious about his threat of quitting - he was. "Little girl, what help were you? You threw squeaky toys at the Scarlet Witch, as if that would do anything! It should have been you who died in the explosion, not Andrew. At least your death would have increased the collective intelligence of the team," he snapped, before turning his glare to Wesley. "And you - where the hell were you? You were needed here in the lab. Your inaction killed Andrew. I hope that that truth eats at you each night, until you beg for a bullet in the brain."

"Now - get the HELL out of my lab!"

He was a little slower than normal, as the serum was waning off, but he raced everyone outside of the lab and then ran back into the lab, locking the doors to keep them all out. His eyes darted over towards Andrew's work station. Watts raced over there and in a fit of anger, he threw everything off of Andrew's desk, letting it clatter and break as it hit the ground.

New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:30 P.M.

The Vision instantly started doing the math and calculations as Cass asked him where they would be able to cause the most damage. "Stark Tower is powered by a submerged arc reactor core," he then said robotically. "If the core were to malfunction, it would lower a majority of Ultron's defenses - I calculate 87%. Miniaturized arc reactors perform as emergency generators throughout the tower and could be used as explosive devices with a predicted success rate of 96%."

"Ultron employs a variety of criminals, however the majority of them are not permitted in Stark Tower," he continued. "The main defense would be a variety of artificial intelligences, including Danger and Jocasta." His eyes then darted over towards Maria as she asked him whether he would be able to fight. His body had been slowly conducting repairs for the damage that they had dealt to him. "I am at 54% capacity." The synthezoid didn't seem too concerned about going off to fight, but then again, emotions seemed to be a hard concept for him to grasp.

"I want the cat," Wanda then said, eyeing Goose.

"Mrow?" Goose said, walking over to Wanda and looking at her.

"When you see the machines, you destroy them, okay? Be a good murderous kitty."

"Mrow..." he said, nodding his head before he started rubbing up against Wanda and purring. Wanda then picked up the kitty and let him perch on her shoulder, before going through the portal after Tinley with a stony expression. Captain Marvel gave a salute to the rest of the people here, before she went on through and Banner awkwardly shuffled, knowing that he would pretty much be taking the backseat while the Hulk drove.

Once everyone going on the assault team had gone through the portal to Stark Tower, the portal would automatically close behind them. Doom had gone on over to Roman, sizing him up briefly and smirking underneath his mask. "Who are you supposed to be?" he taunted. The Invisible Woman rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything - it was a losing battle, trying to get Doom to be nice to other people. Old dogs couldn't learn new tricks.

Raynor went over to Flynn, figuring he would let the science nerds get to things. Dr. Strange had gone off to handle some mystical matters for the moment, retreating farther into the Sanctum. Shuri was making sketches, trying to figure out how to incorporate vibranium into a design for a functioning time machine - something that was either completely possible or completely impossible. She loved achieving the impossible through science.

"So, what are we going to do about Pym?" Raynor muttered, glancing at his fellow knucklehead. "Whatever we do... It keeps Sparky safe," he then added, more or less telling Flynn his conditions.

Now, making a functioning time machine is going to take a while... And no one really wants to post for countless rounds about trial and error. The genius squad is now off the normal passage of time. We'll just let this round include all of the work to make the machine and get it ready to go. Next round, you guys get to go back to the past - so make sure to have a date, time, and location picked out!

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:30 P.M.

Once through the portal, the group would find themselves on the sidewalk outside of Stark Tower. The iconic letters were no longer illuminated, but the tower itself glows red from just about each and every window. Ultron drones are swarming around the building, shining search lights down below. They have about three minutes before one of the drones spots them, so they'll need to get inside the building quickly. The only obvious entrance is the front entrance and it requires a code to be entered on the keypad in order to open the doors. The sling ring won't be able to get them inside either - there seems to be some sort of interference that is preventing it from forming a portal inside the tower.

"Allow me," the Vision said, inputing a code and the screen flashed red. "... The code must have been changed..."

"Yeah, screw that," Captain Marvel muttered, before blasting the doors with her powers. It wasn't the most subtle entrance, but it was an entrance nonetheless. "Let's go inside, shall we?"

Washington D.C.: September 9th, 2020 - 8:20 PM

To recap, both Anastasia and Emma had fallen unconscious, leaving Requiem and Jinx (and Havok) to deal with the Mutant Underground invaders. Max had struck Havok over the head with a gigantic candy cane. Jinx's jinx on Glimpse had already been fulfilled, only for her to give him a taste of his own medicine. Requiem had used his abilities on Veil, forcing her to stop using her powers. And Sapphire made an ice slide before tackling Havok to the ground! To say the least, this battle was a clusterfuck.

Veil dropped her powers of invisibility, as well as her force fields. The wild haired leader of the Mutant Underground was standing behind the prone form of Emma Frost and despite her best efforts, she couldn't bring herself to use her abilities to defend herself. It reminded her of those times when they had mental defense lessons at the Institute - she always hated those days, the feeling of something prying into her head. Requiem's intrusion made her skin crawl.

Requiem got his shot off expertly, hitting Veil in the chest. She was incredibly lucky that the bullet missed the vital organs and veins and whatnot, but that didn't take away the immense pain as blood blossomed from her upper body. It wasn't her first time taking a bullet, but that didn't matter. Sometimes even the most experienced of soldiers were dropped by a well placed shot, unable to cope with either the pain or the shock. She swayed slightly, before collapsing to the ground and landing on top of Emma Frost. Had the Mutant Underground's luck finally run out?

Using her telepathy, Glimpse was successful in binding Jinx to keep him from moving - although he would still be able to talk and move his eyes. And likely aided by the fact that Anastasia had fallen unconscious, Glimpse also was able to push her out of Havok's mind, restoring his previous sense of morality. The blonde mutant shook his head slightly, his eyes widening as he realized that Sapphire was on top of him, having tackled him to the ground.

"Please get off of me, Frosty!" he requested. He remembered everything he had done under Anastasia's influence, but he was taking it surprisingly well. Some people would have been horrified and shocked at what they were capable of - but to be fair, he hadn't really done much during his time as Anastasia's minion. He did have some opinions on Sapphire kissing him, but they were private and likely wouldn't even be shared with his girlfriend, Polaris. Lorna could be a bit unhinged at times and he didn't want to see her drive up here just to pummel Sapphire out of jealous rage.

"Did someone get what we came here for?" Havok then called out. He couldn't really see, since he was pinned on the ground and had everyone crowding around him.

The Attic...

"Yeah, I bet you're all fucking sorry," Sunshine muttered under her breath. These people had abandoned the Morlocks - if they had been there, maybe Erg wouldn't be dead. She would much rather have Erg alive and well than one of these people anyways. The Ice Princess just struck her as overly wealthy and privileged, probably one of those mutants who would be able to just buy their way onto a team like the X-Factor or the Avengers. James was annoying and Max was a walking disaster. She didn't know who the other people here were, but she didn't care about them so they didn't matter.

"Aren't you a ray of sunshine?" Negasonic quipped, prompting Sunshine to flip her off. Negasonic smirked slightly, since that would have been exactly what she would have done had someone talked to her like that. "I like this one." She then glanced around the room, seeing that Colossus was too focused on his sibling and they needed to do something to keep the ceiling from collapsing the entire building. Rubbing her hands together, she took a deep breath.

"You guys might want to close your eyes or something," she commented, before taking a running start and jumping upwards. Her body released a huge blast of concussive force, blasting the roof off of the building. There was no danger of a collapse now, as there wasn't anything to collapse. Instead of an attic, they now had a roof venue for parties. "There, problem solved," she said, panting a bit.

"Be more careful next time," Colossus scolded, but he had his long lost sister back so he didn't really care. He searched Magik gently as Spark Plug had asked, finding almost nothing on his sister. She didn't have a radio like Vulcan did. There were no bus tickets or keycards or anything that would help identify where she had been. The only thing he found was a little box - the sort that Tic Tacs come in - with a few pills.

"I already evacuated the surviving Morlocks - with the exception of the brothers downstairs and Sunshine here," Blink clarified to Spark Plug. "... What is the Hellfire Club?" she then asked, not having heard of them before. Sunshine glanced over towards Spark Plug as well, wanting to know who they were and how they could get vengeance for Erg.

The First Floor...

Nothing seemed to happen at first - and then, miraculously, Casper's heart began to beat stronger. The wounds on his head closed up. The color returned to his cheeks and his eyes fluttered open, revealing his grey-green eyes. The first thing that Casper saw as he awoke was James' face and he smiled slightly. "Stalker much?" he chided. Ben rolled his eyes, trying to smack his best friend upside the head but his ghostly hand just went straight through Casper's head.

"You really just nearly died and got brought back in full on Disney Princess fashion and THAT is the first thing you say?" Ben scoffed. "Sometimes you're unbelievable, Cassie."

"Only sometimes?" Casper mused. He then saw his brother lying down on the ground next to him, looking extremely pale, and his grey-green eyes widened considerably. He was the older brother - it was his job to make sure that Jack was okay. If their mother had been there, she would have already murdered whoever did this to her boys a thousand times over... but she wasn't here, so it was up to Casper to be overly protective of Jack. "Hey, sweetheart, could you please heal my brother? I-I can pay you if you want, I'll get my dad to wire you some money... Whatever you want, you just name it," Casper begged, grabbing Jack's hand and holding it tightly.

The fact that the door was unlocked, according to Blush, she took as an excellent sign. She had to agree with the woman's assessment that the household likely did not anticipate for them to escape from confinement and venture farther into the manor. It also decreased significantly the amount of time they would have to spend maundering around in the dark in this new room. "Perhaps we burn this place to the ground after the storm has lifted and we have secured transportation out of these woods?" Walnut suggested lightly. She didn't want to be stuck in the cold of the woods with only the flames of the house to keep them alive. She heard an exclamation and a thud from the room she had just vacated and Walnut had to prevent herself from smirking slightly, hoping that it had been the annoying woman Rave. She really hoped the woman gave up and just remained in confinement to die a horrible painful death from the chill.

She moved swiftly, with a certain grace, as she maneuvered her way through this low lighting and came to the door that Blush had just passed on through. Careful not to bump into anyone, Professor Walnut went through the doorway after Blush and glanced around, attempting to adjust to her new surroundings (if they could be seen at all). The room was pitch black, darkness seemed to be its only contents as far as she was aware (as she could hardly see in the dark to see if there was anything else about) and Walnut let out a slight sigh of frustration. At the very least if they could clear through this room and hopefully find another doorway, they would be able to put some distance between themselves and those still in confinement. She liked the small splinter group she was with now and did not care for the annoying questioner and anyone else who tarried behind with her!

Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: Nakai, Pavati

She did not know what this thing was and she pitied the beast slightly, yet it clearly intended to do them harm. She would have liked to learn what it was and what forces drove it to act as it did, but now was not the time. She threw one of her precious ebony axes at the creature, hitting her mark as the blade tore through the shoulder and embedded itself in the steps behind it. Depending on the force of the throw, it would take a fair bit of effort in order to free the blade and since she did not intend on leaving herself entirely defenseless, this next axe wouldn't be thrown - unless, of course, Vlad had brought with him several spare throwing axes for her but she doubted it. Given that she had never really thrown an axe at a shadow monster before, she was a bit intrigued to see the result. The smoke seemed to be lighter where the limb had been, a little bit clearer, and it must have been solid before. "How sublime," Virginia whispered, making a pun that would most likely be lost on those present.

The auburn haired woman behind her had used her trained skills, as glowing runes formed on the ground beneath the creature and it lashed out. Her new friend, Ny, managed to harm the beast and Virginia was hoping that they might be able to drive the creature in a different direction, that way she could retrieve her axe and gain another weapon in this fight. The windows had shattered as crows entered the Church and the entire experience was wondrous and lively to her - it was so sinister and macabre! Alarmingly and beautifully, the monster was increasing in size as well, despite the flames. The monster had so much smoke and such to it... she had to wonder if it somehow was incorporating the flames?

One of the Russians then started to shout information and Virginia's mind instantly went to Mosi - with the pure flames that had come when she was burned. "Oh dear Mosi, if only I had brought some of you here to cremate..." Virginia mused. Part of her thought about suggesting that they take the purest person here and burn a portion of them - nothing too great as to likely kill them - and see if that would suffice, but she doubted the others would take kindly to that idea. There was likely an alternative pathway that they could try first. "Do you know what sort of prayer - Christian prayer or any sort?" Virginia called back to the Russian, standing her guard should the monster try something else.

Maeve Brennan

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: Lorcain, Deasmhumhnach

Maeve used her trained skill of Lorcain, unearthing an ancient Celtic site and causing the runic symbols to softly appear. It seemed to cause distress to the creature and for that she was grateful, especially with the combined efforts of the others. She was stunned as a flock of birds flew in through the windows and seemed to be directed in combat, having never seen anything like it before. She heard the information on how to fight this from one of the men towards the front - they needed prayer and purity, as well as positioning this vile thing over the altar. The explanation suited her - only the power of god could vanquish this foe. While she had used a Celtic site in defense, that didn't change that she was a Catholic at her heart and would be a proud Catholic until the day she died.

The pagan girl irritated her - of course it would be Christian prayer. The other belief systems were simply nonsense. Why would anyone expect anything else to work in this situation? They needed purity and prayer, they were in a Church, the vision specified the altar - so logically, it had to be Christian! "Ladies, let's 'erd de beast over ter de altar, shall we? An' yer, lad, yer stay 'ere where 'tis safe," Maeve said, singling out William with the last part. The women with her were competent from what she could tell - Colette and Millicent both had their heads on right, at least so it seemed. She figured she could use the trained skill of Deasmhumhnach to attempt to fight the beast and push it towards the altar. However, she then got a better idea. Riada could stun the Soulless - why not try it on this monster?

Guin Stark and Runa Blake

Location: The Palace Grounds (Guin's Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
None of this was going to plan at all. Oshea had whisked them outside incredibly quickly, only for Pietro's oldest sister to forcibly remove the helmet from her head and crush it. Without Cerebra, Guin knew that she didn't have the strength to telepathically calm down all of these people. Their emotions were running high, they were chaotic and loud and messy, and there were just too many of them for her to really be effective. Her eyes were darting around rapidly as she tried to come up with a plan. Pietro, Lorna, and Alex were helping out Wanda. The King was unconscious, but he was always harsh and distant to Pietro and from what Allison told her about this other world, he didn't deserve her help at the moment. Allison and Guin needed to talk to Wanda about everything and she bit her lip slightly. "Please tell me I'm a badass in the other world, as I would love to secretly have ninja skills or something waiting in the wings," she quipped to Allison.

Runa had been attacking Wanda, only to get knocked back by the speedster. She forced herself back up to her feet, ignoring the aching protests of her arms and legs. Lance was sitting on the Hulk's shoulders, so he seemed to be okay for now. Princess Wanda though was definitely the strongest combatant here and she doubted that the boy and the man with her (Max and James) would be able to do much up against her. It was a shame that Klara wasn't there - or even Freya or Frigga would have been welcome help right now. But with just basic Eldritch Magic, Runa was outmatched and bleeding.

Guin spotted Runa going to attack Wanda again and tried to use her telepathy to knock her out but to no avail. Runa was glaring at her, clearly figuring out who had just tried to knock her unconscious, and her hands started to spark but nothing happened. "Shit, Wednesday Addams is pissed," Guin muttered. Runa formed a full fledged fireball this time and chucked it at Guin, only for a streak of silver to intervene as Prince Pietro took the fireball hit himself for Guin. It resulted in burns, but most were already starting to heal - some of them were more severe though. Fueled by guilt and determination, Guin managed to break through Runa's psychic defenses and knocked her out, sending the Asgardian to the ground as she fell unconscious.

Piet?!?! You okay?! she asked through the mental link quickly, worried about those burns. I'm fine, why the hell did you first of all LIE to me about needing to be inside where it is safer then essentially go over my head to get another speedster to bring you outside! I wanted to help, Piet! I had a way to stop all of the fighting and you didn't want anything to do with it and I know I wouldn't have been able to convince you. You lied to me Guina!

She fell silent for a moment, not really sure what to say as the battle raged on around them. I know. I did. So tell me why the hell you did that, since you're last excuse makes no sense at all if you were planning on lying to me! I wasn't planning on lying to you! Well you did! I am just trying to help stop people from getting hurt or killed!!!!!! Whatever! You still lied to me! he snapped back at her, before he blocked her out mentally.

I'm sorry, Pietro. Guin took an uneasy breath, before looking at Allison for some more guidance on what they were supposed to do next. This entirely situation was seriously messed up and confusing. "Your call what we do now," she said, her voice cracking slightly.

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Palace Grounds
Skills: N/A
She spotted Barton giving the signal to retreat - it was the same one they used on S.H.I.E.L.D. missions when Hawkeye went into the field, rather than having Abercrombie lead the team. She missed those days - it was such a simpler time. She didn't regret what she had done to bring Sparky back home, but it had changed everything. No one had been the same afterwards and then, Hill had taken it one step further once they all returned home. Novikova didn't disagree that she deserved the punishment she had received for her part in creating that apocalyptic timeline, but that didn't mean she didn't miss this. It was going to be harder to say goodbye to this a second time. "Wanda, Pietro, and now Lorna, and Alex Summers... Fantastic," Novikova muttered. She took her girlfriend's hand carefully.

She wasn't about to stay behind here and risk Maria's life. Hopefully the stealth team had gotten what they needed inside the Palace, but staying longer in this fight would be suicide. They were outmatched and outgunned. "Come on, let's go," she told Maria, dragging her along as she navigated their way through the fray. There were so many people and then the smoke obscured everything in sight, making it difficult but luckily, she was able to find her way back to the cars they had arrived in. She let out a slight sigh of relief that Maria had largely gotten out of the fight unscathed. There could have easily been another outcome. "I'll drive. We'll wait a few minutes, load up our car with as many people as we can, and then we'll bail."

Casper Theriot

Location: the Crown Room - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper didn't really feel a need to go back for his shoes - if he needed shoes, it seemed like Bobbi could just stick her hand through a hole and pull out a pair for him. Was she able to summon designer things? Where did her items come from? Was that what happened when something went missing and was never found again - was it because Bobbi stole it across space and time? Did she have all of his missing socks that went into the laundry and never came back again? He had so many questions for her and he opened his mouth to ask, but Ben shook his head like a disappointed parent.

"Please don't get started," he asked his friend.

"What? I'm innocent!" he protested, as Ben rolled his eyes. Casper followed his brother and Bobbi down the hallway, heading after Jack into what seemed to really be the first door they tried. The crown was a little too shiny and wealthy for his tastes, but he could see why people liked it. The Infinity Stone that served as its centerpiece was the real problem.

"It definitely is boobytrapped, so be careful!" Ben cautioned.

"Please, not everything is Indiana Jones! Do they have Indiana Jones here? Or is it Alabama Smith in this universe?" he wondered, heading up to grab the crown but he tripped and knocked it to the ground. Nothing really happened though so Casper grabbed it - and planning on seeing what all the fuss was about - he put the crown on his head. It sent a jolt of electricity through him and he jumped, the crown falling off of him and landing on the ground with a clatter.

"... I'm not worthy! Boo!" Casper complained. "Yeah, sure, I don't have abs like Thor but I think I have what matters...."

"...Dare I ask what that is?"

"I have a heart, duh! Just like Thor does! And I would be great in the Avengers since I already hate the X-Men!"
