I'm calling into work today and depending on how the talk with management goes I may get fired. Honestly I don't care cause the job turned out to be a lot more aggravation than it's worth and I was basically ignored when I asked about transferring departments. I also don't have the time I need off due to them working everybody full time hours even if they're part time. So yeah if I get fired oh well LOL

Anyway, I'll have some time on my hands today and possibly the rest of the week. So the IC will be posted today and we can get things moving forward.

@Blue Demon I don't generally do multiple characters in RPs and when @Lord Wraith posed the question on page one about being limited to a single character I responded with the whole creating side characters as needed and as a group. The CS model asks the character's alignment be it hero, villain, or walking the line so that option has always been up to the player. Asking for special treatment when I've not even seen a CS is a bit pretentious. If you're trying to be petty that's fine, but don't make me out to be a dick. I can't and won't give anyone special treatment, let alone somebody who's writing skill is questionable without a CS.

@Blue Demon I only see the one asking about if I wanted heroes or villains and it's been said numerous times everything is up to you guys as far as what you create. Supporting superhumans can and will be created as needed by the group. Most of us are heroes or walking the line and we're making sandbox villains. More villains would be fine if that was the route you were going for...

Here's a slightly altered CS for sandbox made villains. As noted, @rocketrobie2 helped me brainstorm some of the details. Since villains are often mysterious, they have the option or secret or public identities, and rather than BRIEF Bio will have a Known History section for anything that's known by the general public if they read newspapers and social media.

Name - Unknown
Alias - Shayd: the Indestructible Man
ID - Secret
Powers - Strength beyond strength, you get what you see here and he's basicaly a black Hulk. His durability is unmatched and he'll outlive us all.
Weaknesses - Not unlike the Hulk, once in awhile his strength will be matched and he'll be caught off guard. He'll always recover though. He's also not immune to telepathic attacks. Gas grenades effect him like they would anyone. Sickness can knock down his strength and durability in a heartbeat. Theoretically if doctors kept viruses in him he COULD be held in a maximum security prison for superhumans.
Appearance -


Known History - If someone were to connect the pieces, he may possibly be born from an experiment at Westman Chemical. Most of the time when Shayd strikes it's involving an employee of Westman Chemical, or one of the factories or labs within the several divisions in New Athens. However no prison can hold him, and nothing can truly stop him.
Notes - This guy will cause city wide destruction in the beginning of the game and be the first sandbox villain. @rocketrobie2 helped me brainstorm some of the details.

@Weird Tales I like Capt. Gauntlet... I just don't like the 'Captain' part in his name. A hero from an alternate Earth wasn't something I had planned on yet either as there's already a lot going on character wise... but so long as it's not something that gets mentioned every post I don't have a problem with it.

I think I may recruit a few of you to help me make some UNIVERSAL enemies that everybody can use before we get this thing going. I'm thinking of making somebody like Juggernaut or Red Hulk myself, anybody else have any ideas?

@The Kid Lantern I'd like to see Jay's role as the "Big Guy" emphasized a bit more before accepting him, though he's good so far.

Extra brownie points to the both of you if you foreshadow their element somewhere in their personality.
Other than that, no announcements so far. RP is still opening Thursday, since I have been promised a Heart character by Wednesday.

^^^Sounds awesome. I figured I'd let somebody else name the colleges and such. I'm getting settled into my housing arrangements for the next week [I'm house sitting my in-laws place] but I'm around and will link the titanpad from the iCheck in this thread in case there's anybody who wants to chat about the RP or discuss things as they move forward. I'll check in on it every so often, right now I'm fixing myself a mixed drink, cooking a late dinner, and relaxing. Gonna get to work on the opening IC post as well.
