Okay, as long as its worth it relative to quantity. My character might be a semi-regular.
Oh it is. It's good food. Yes a alittle more than average but worth the extra. Especially on a cold evening when there's a large potion of thick, hot filling stew and a large cold ale waiting for the hungry workers.
I intend for my miner character to be from the city. But I feel that some form of industry is vital to the town, ie. having a blacksmith, but it doesn't make sense for my character from the city to know smithing. Industry requires some form of pre-existing infrastructure, so I'm thinking of making an NPC who is the town smith, who my character is learning smithing and mining from. That being said, the old smith NPC is probably close with the Wheelers, and might share some of the burden of repairing things around town. We can discuss and collaborate to flesh out the relationship.
I'm curious to know how expensive Freya's Feasting Hall is. Oftentimes, 'authenticity' is used to crank up prices arbitrarily and make something 'luxury' when it really isn't. I'm asking because my character will be a bit of a penny pincher, so your response will determine how often my character frequents the hall.
Depends what being ordered. Given its signiture dishes are home made foods and meaty stews etc, they could be alittle more expensive than average but it's big portions and good food. It's worth the price.
The teas and other smaller items be the lower price ranges though. It's not all big meals,
No that was Tora, I'm Astrid... Twins... You are not seeing double from the ale horn

Tora Peterson
Astrid's twin sister though more tricksy and enjoys playing jokes, teasing and more flirtatious of the two.
Still hard working though definitely the more feminine of the family and despite there lack of funds at times is a master of finding showy outfits for far less than they should have any rights to cost. Her ability to hammer out a deal greatly aided the establishment of the feasting hall and kept the renovations budget in check.

Pet dog, a big Newfoundland type dog who a gentle giant called Fluffy, dark coloured and with blue and green eyes.
Personally wise can be very much a giant puppy at times and forgets how heavy she is or large.
This is the kind of scale for a Newfoundland dog!
They are totally giant softies though, great swimmers even in icy water and love cold weather. Bad in hot weather being native to colder climates and thick multi-layered coats make overheating easy.

Lives in a comfortable stone cottage they restored next door to the feasting hall with a large fireplace at its centre point, bright pink door and windows stand out from the old grey stonework and a covered veranda around two sides providing shelter for a coffee and a place to watch the world roll by dry and snug.
Home for both Peterson sisters with two bedrooms, modern features and technology blended into a traditional old fashioned stone cottage. It's not the fanciest home in the village but it's the one that always has a warm welcome and hot drink waiting for any guests.
The feasting hall has a long pair of benches down the sides and the central all-important fire pit in the middle keeping the large room warm. Thick sheepskins and a large wooden chest of blankets and other items to help patrons keep warm and snug regardless of how deep the snows get, long winters nights and howling winds try to bring a chill. Not minding a slow meal the hall has a large collection of board games, chess sets and other entertainments available to enjoy an evening with friends or spend a slow rainy afternoon in comfort and company. The Feasting Hall is a place to eat but also a social location too.
Though the slightly dimly lit room can be a bit smokey, and little getting used to, it's got many comforts, a very warm welcome and always a warm filling meal ready for any customers who pay a visit.
The Rot as what they called it locally was a hurdle, there was a reason the place was cheap but it's hold was broken on the old building through much hard work. Once the Rots hold was beaten back a gleaming Thor's hammer nailed above the door and the top rafters as an old fashioned form of protection and blessing to all those who feast were added under his protective hammer with Odin's raven watching from the pinnacle. Well, hopefully, it works... Anything is better than nothing right? Can never hurt to respect the old god's.
The menu has rather generously portioned meat options, thick and warm stews all year round but especially in the colder seasons and ales by the glass or horn for the adventurous. Serving a mix including traditional Nordic and Viking options and modern options like tea, lighter fares or just a chance to warm up by the large open fire pit on a cold day and a chat.
The feasting hall was one of the hearts of life, a place where celebration, gatherings and many other functions under one, particularly important roof. Hopefully, Freyas could live up to the history and be a heart of the community for anyone who decides to visit.

Born in a nearby town to a family of stonemasons and an office worker who worked on a major bridge and roadway to link there a town with the city. A fairly happy and a slightly poorer family, the twins were born and both grew up happily with a love of Nordic culture and food. Their parents met on the major project together, smiles turned to flirts and eventually Twins arrived.
Though not wealthy the Peterson's worked hard, keen to escape the grip of Big Co and decide their own path with a lot of help from friends, an inheritance and a large amount of hard work the two sisters restored an old stone cottage to live in and the rest was converted into a large Viking inspired feasting hall. The locals were less than convinced at first but there determined nature, warm welcome and an endless supply of hot stews, oversized meaty meals and more traditional Nordic offerings soon began to change the perceptions of the newcomers business.
They had a few rocky moments along the way, half the roof nearly fell in repairing it and money was tight but eventually, they managed to open with a lot of effort, some tears, blood kept from bleeding by the doctor and too little sleep.
Coming from a proud Nordic family the two could have taken an easier road but instead founded there feasting hall. A small slice of a Nordic welcome in a small village outside in the country.
Fluffy Astrid rescued as a puppy and the overly large Newfoundland became her devoted companion though it was rather mutual and often can be seen lazing in the hall and greeting customers when Astrid's at work.
Hi Yankee! Reading through your CS I thought it was very well done! I like how you incorporated BigCo into your background and I like that you're the dr who isn't really a doctor! As far as I'm concerned everything looks good, and I considered Xavier accepted!
I will edit in the information to reflect that as soon as possible.
Hey, looking through your cs- Would like to have some of the grammar fixed if possible ie: spelling. capitalization etc. Also, would you be playing your sister as well or is it more of an NPC counterpart? If just an NPC counterpart that is fine, if not I will need you to make another CS for her.
If those things are fixed, should be good!
NPC probbly. I may expand her if things change and add her in.
Sure i can run it via a more advanced method than my phone when I can raise the potato laptop from starchy sleep.

Victoria Lady De Winter(Coffee Pot) Victoria placed an order while Charles talked and managed to find her loyalty card buried in her hand bags lower layers of history and archaeology that made up her hand bag. Too many things... Way too many things in a space that should not be able to contain them. A hot chocolate, one coffee and some pastries ordered for a light brunch, urgh. Tipping why did they not just pay people, what was with the having to do all the maths too.. double work. Annoying.
"Yep, Londoner, rather different area to Victoria though. Oh Chelsea. No one's perfect sadly... Chelsea..., Arsenal fan. Season ticket and all, been a Gunners fan since I could attend games on someone's lap. Our Raven haired sweet toothed companion prefers Ice hockey, especially from her expression." Victoria shook her head, men and there sports kicking balls around a field and falling over at the lightest injury and tap. Even hand egg, no.. American Football had to be better option in her opinion. "Well met Ryan, we all hide things. I'm not upset, you hardly lied out of spite or harm and I keep quite a few secrets to protect my family and friends. True, but your food was amazing head chef or junior prep chef. I hope my opinion helped you update your layout and make it more friendly to everyone.
Hey... Just because I dislike men rolling about on Grass over love taps. Dad always took me to ice hockey when home, it was fun. Been a favourite for years." Smiling at happy memories, they went, had junk food and it was just nice having her dad about when he was away on average 6 months of the year. "I've not forgotten your kind offer of Culinary champion of Sol City, Thankyou. I'll be in touch, or if you ever need computer related, I can waive most of my rather expensive fees for a friend. Should...have a card somewhere" Digging out a small card wallet with a few misc cards in before finding one and handwriting an extra number on the back "Lady De Winter - Coding and security" with a fairly simple design on thick card, between digging out everything else including crackers, a lipstick, a hair brush and a charity pen from the Cluthu Cultists alongside a plush mascot they were giving out on the way here. "Japanese, come on Vika. Not had decent Japanese in ages... blood sports but of course oh gentle lady of the South. Cthulhu cultists in PR campaigns. What is going on in this city? The flight over I saw a Criminal Cephalopodic Crime wave with awful music taste." Earning a rather half hearted glare and stealing his little biscuit on the arriving drinks order with a little smirk.
"Not blood sports... Just more physical. Grampa Max is over soon... Who knows. Cthulhu makes more sense than half of Sol City...and they have cute plush mascots." Well that should not be true but hey, Sol City made as much sense as ... Well Sol made no sense. Nothing here could be considered Boring... Grampa Max, also known as a CEO, but family was everything to them and the attitude was rather infectious especially how Maria had helped her out recently.
Giving a cheerful wave once he had his own coffee and was messaging someone else, not minding Ryan's interruptions. Least with an old friend over for a short while, family coming and people she trusted about life felt more dealable even if her situation was rather complicated nowadays.
