That's a good question. I would prefer he have the ability to revert back into his normal form for the sake of being able to "blend in" to other realities. But I honestly feel comfortable having that vetoed and him being stuck as "Doc Green" since that is more in line with the comics.

The former definitely helps with balance and would be my preference, personally.

Fuck the comics. Who here even likes comics, amirite?

Does Bruce have the ability to revert to his human body or is he permanently in this smaller Hulk form?
Enter the Hero, stage right:

Strong concept. Is the serum still pumping through his veins, diminished or not? Without the suit, does he still possess his Goblin abilities?

I think a world that truly, utterly utilized a One Universe approach where the characters had to be drastically different and changed by one another's existence would be interesting. Imagine if Kal-El's rocket landed to Earth at a time when HYDRA was still functioning, or if Thor's hammer were found by Barry Allen instead of Donald Blake. Or if Spider-Man were created by a spider who was an avatar of The Red, making him less of an enhanced human and more of a monster in the vein of Swamp Thing. A world full of fun stuff like that, where the dynamics are completely shifted for everyone.

Another possibility is a DC or Marvel future where the grandchildren of each hero inherit the mantles, like a giant legacy Earth in the vein of MC2. There's a ton of rife potential there if you set it far enough ahead for most of the heroes to be dead or out of action.

Another idea I had is a DC Universe where each hero is a supernatural creature. So Superman would be a horrible monstrosity from space, Batman would be a vampire, Wonder Woman would be an undead Themyiscarian witch, The Flash would be an interdimensional demon, and so on...

None of them are wildly original ideas, but I like simple concept alterations as much as I like massive universe shattering ideas.

You may enjoy one or two worlds that I have planned, then.
We have now passed the halfway point with three days remaining until the end of the deadline, as it currently stands. While everyone still has plenty of time to finish, adjust, and submit concepts, this is just a friendly reminder for those who have incomplete sheets or have shown interest in applying.

@Inkarnate Your Polaris app still needs a completed character background section.

@ComradeMaxx@GreenGrenade The two of you have expressed your interest previously in the OOC, are you still intending to apply?
Sorry if the character differences section seems rather light. I am not good at explaining things. I'd be happy to try if you have any questions or concerns. Also, I'm working on the second character concept: Rocket Raccoon.

So, I'm assuming you're taking more inspiration from the recent Venom movie than classic interpretations. So, due to the war, I'm also assuming Venom has not had any history with Peter Parker? Does this version of the symbiote amplify emotions/hate? Have any bloodlust? Display any malevolence?
It's how I handled writing Spider-Man and Harley Quinn Batgirl in previous games when my laptop was broken. Wrote it down on paper then typed it up on a PS3... with a controller, not a USB keyboard. I feel like you could manage if you really wanted to.
@Retired Is there any chance that I might be able to get an extension to the August 18th timeslot, because I am without a computer right now and will probably be without it till Monday, but would REALLY like to throw a character sheet in this and would like to not be hampered by the fact that I had to write it out on a phone. Is there any way I could convince you to extend it to maybe Midnight on Tuesday?

As of this moment, I am not committing to an extension on the deadline. If it turns out there are more than one prospective players needing more time, I will consider an extension and make an announcement regarding such on the 18th. Either way, I'm not sure how long of an extension I would give. But, I'll keep everyone updated.

I would suggest writing it out on paper at the moment so it doesn't suffer from the quality of a phone, and then type it out on a computer should an extension be given.

Cyborg Doakes

Stop spoiling my Titans plans.

In light of some of the commentary regarding concepts and being wild with them, I've changed my secondary proposal.

I still have a copy of the Wildfire one though, if something more mainstream is the preference there.

So, I took a day to consider this one, and while there's still a few days remaining, I do want to ensure everyone has ample time to readjust and reapply with different concepts should one not be suitable. Similar to my concerns about the Helmet of Fate, I feel like the Omnitrix as a tool has the potential to very easily overshadow certain aspects of the story. While I like the blending of Ben 10 and Dial H for a Hero, I think having the watch, even limited to just ten aliens, makes the character too versatile. One thing I want to avoid is for any one character to be able to solve the majority of the situations encountered. The Omnitrix is a suped-up Swiss army knife. It has a solution to just about any problem. And even supposing that we ignore its capabilities to copy new alien DNA (Kryptonian in the Omnitrix, anyone? lol), I personally feel it still offers just too much utility.

If you want to try and revamp the idea so it's not so much a master-of-all situation, DM me on Discord and we can try to work something out. You know from our discussions regarding Loki's power levels a couple of weeks back that I am happy to try and strike a balance. If you want to submit a new secondary, I know you have other concepts I'd love to see. Or if you just want to stick with Ryand'r I understand, too.
