Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hmm, might as well bring back Mien. A few minor adjustments were made in regards to her history and personality a bit, but for the most part she's the same crime lord she was before.

Still gonna have her gear be confiscated to start with. Just something I'd like her to get later in the RP after a bit of time, perhaps with the help of someone else. Unless of course, you'd prefer her to start with them. I can do either.

@Heckno12

You know.

It's been awhile and I feel slightly terrible about leaving the last time this was up.

I wouldn't mind bringing back an old character for this if you wouldn't mind. Might make a few adjustments to her of course, though.

Might need to dig her CS outta the old thread though xD
Alternatively, might make a different character altogether.

Alexandria, Mis, Cyril, Saeko

Ceri jumped a bit when Saeko shouted her arrival, sighing as she realized it was Saeko. Just the other member of their team. Nothing to be startled about there, Saeko was nice after all. A little...quick to action at times, but Ceri liked her. She was always so determined while she struggled to even fight a bug the size of her finger. Hopefully if she was just around them she could learn how to at least be a little more determined.

"Well then, y'should of gotten more beauty sleep Saeko! Beautiful people do need their beauty sleep after all. Anyways, 'ello Mis-tifying beauty, Ceri, Sae, and Alex, hope the day has been treating you all well,"

Oh good. It was Cyril. Ceri instinctively put Mis between her and the other member of their team. Ceri really had no reason to dislike the guy. He was perfectly friendly...but he was overly so. When they had first met he had tried to give her a hug without her even knowing he was there. Yeah, that didn't go over so well. The Nest smelled like smoke for days after that incident. Really, she had no reasons to dislike him, but he was always so...forward. And that just made her twitchy for a number of different reasons.

"Hi Saeko...C-cyril..." She greeted both of them with a pleasant tone regardless, though. As long as Cyril didn't try anything she'd be fine. "W-we should get moving, right?" She said, echoing Alexandria's words a bit. As nervous as she was after the announcement, she would feel even worse if she was late or somehow didn't make it on time.
Miren & Eith, Sorcha, Meowka, Sol, and Katherine

Trouble?

Luna was in trouble?

At the mention of Luna potentially being in trouble, Sorcha's eyes visibly narrowed. Luna was strong, she knew that much. She could handle something like a dragon with relative skill...even one weakened by years of disease, dementia, and laziness.

But -

She would be remiss to let her handle this on her own. She had vowed herself to Luna, and to help her with whatever she needed as long as it was within her ability, she would move heaven and earth for her. There were other, more personal reasons...though nothing that needed to be vocalized now.

"Thank you, Katherine. Sol, hold on dear." That was all the warning the little Lightsword would get before Sorcha bolted up the stairs at a pace only an angry dragon could have.

"Eep!" Miren jumped slightly as the dragon bolted past them, adjusting her hair slightly as the gust completely messed up her hair. Ah...ah, she hoped that whatever it was it would be resolved. Sorcha was a strong dragon, so it would probably be alright.

"O-okay, erm," She hopped over to Katherine, taking the book from her. She opened the book, briefly flipping through the pages. It was rather difficult to make out here in the darkness of the dungeons. "Perhaps we should head back up then? It would be easier to read when my nose isn't on the verge of sneezing all the time from all of this dust."

Maoin

"Hmm...so she gave you shelter when you had nowhere else to go?" The Chimaera chuckled a bit at that. That sounded like her, didn't it? At least from what she had heard of her, and from her very, very, brief interaction with her those ages ago as a kitten barely able to stay alive in the forest by herself. Hah. It had been such a long time since she had even seen the old dragon. Not that this one made an attempt at keeping in contact with things that lived outside of her forest...well, before she was forced from her forest and lost the right she had to protect it.

"..."

For a few seconds, she didn't reply to the kitten. Instead, she had her tail slither up towards the girls head and rest on it.

"This one never forgets a scent." She didn't elaborate more on that, and switched subjects. "What of this one that you are helping?"

Luna, Marie, Sorcha, and Sol

Her body arced with electricity as she moved, though Sol wouldn't feel anything other than a small bit of tingling. She bolted through the hallways of the ruined castle, easily reaching the exit. First, though, she stopped by the supplies and retrieved her Glaive from the wagon - just in case. She wasn't planning on interfering with whatever Luna had gotten involved in unless she absolutely needed to help, but she needed her Glaive ready just in case.

She only paused momentarily to retrieve it, which would be the only time Sol had to get off of Sorcha. As soon as she had taken it, she gave her wings a powerful flap, quickly ascending into the air, high over the roof of the castle, easily spotting Luna engaged in combat with some sort of large lizard.

"...Wyrm!?" Sorcha's eyes narrowed. Typically, the land lizards stayed north. She had dealt with a few of them before in the old days. Still...Luna could handle such a lesser dragon easily enough. She perched atop the part of the ruined wall, watching the fight unfold below.

-------

"Grah! By Lucifers unholy soiled drawers be a little more gentle!" Marie yelled in quite the undignified fashion as she was pulled out of the way, just barely in time for the lizard's lunge to miss. Unfortunately, Luna's strike would fare much less better than she had hoped. The blade sank into the lizards scaly hide, a gush of putrid blood leaked from the long wound, but before it became anything more than annoyance the tail whipped back, slamming Luna across the breastplate and sending her reeling towards the ground.

The lizard tucked its legs towards it side, hitting the ground with an audible thud before it slithered along the ground in a serpent like fashion, turning and coiling around on itself, supporting itself with its two legs, hissing in the direction of the knight and demon.

"Don't just lay there and do something!" Blegh, this was annoying. If her mom hadn't sealed her arsenal then this would be so very easy.

The lizard opened its maw, a gout of powerful flame erupting from its maw as it launched a fireball at Luna and Marie.

Hm~

I think I have the perfect reaction for both Ralia and the Clones.

And I think I know exactly what Ralia is going to do~

Yep, that's fine with me. Eirwen's not going anywhere. Homeroom's fine~

I mean unless Leanne wants to do something lewd completely normal with the sleepy person.

and I can always make another character if you need someone to love Diana's legs
@Rune_Alchemist

Hey, it's alright. Also, get ready for you-know-who since I'll probably move it to the next day on the next update.

Oho, lovely.

I shall start getting all of you-know-who's shenanigans planned and in order.
~Arletta Dupain~

@PaulHaynek

Arletta waved bye to the caravan, thanking them for the directions before heading off to the Inn. The ahem...noises, wouldn't likely bother her much. Used she'd be the one making them but ever since becoming a dullahan, surprisingly she's been much more focused on things other than that. Well, as long as no one decided to pop off her head at least. Odd thing, wasn't it? She chuckled wistfully to herself as she arrived at the Inn, getting a somewhat questioning look since she was alone. A brief exchange and she had herself a room for the night.

Even if she didn't mind roughing it, having a nice bed to sleep in would be fun. Besides, she could get breakfast and maybe a souvenir or two. Plus she wanted to check on Valarie. Hopefully she didn't get into too much trouble after the incident. She'd feel terrible if she got in too much trouble on her account. It seemed like Valarie was on the fast track to trouble, at this rate.

Ah well.

She pulled off most of her armor, setting them against the wall near the bed before plopping down on it and taking her journal and scribbling a few notes in it. She bought a new one shortly before coming to the guild, and was looking forward to filling it up. It was a habit from her human adventuring days - though back then it was for less enjoyment and more for taking note of any interesting, ahem, valuables and ruins that might have...valuables that needed to be apprehended.

She stayed up for a few more minutes, the sounds of the other occupants of the Inn not bothering her too much. It was easy to focus when you were a monster that normally had at least a bit of discipline to them. Got a fair bit of sleep, too, not that an undead like her really needed much sleep to start with but it was nice to still do it from time to time. By the time morning rolled around, she felt well rested.

She left the Inn with her things, after a breakfast and a little stop at a souvenir store that the lady last night had pointed out and picking up a little gift for Magnus, Arletta finally left the shrine town after being unable to find Valarie. Didn't take her long to reach the guild the next day either, and was pleasantly surprised to see the dwarves had done an excellent job of repairing the once dilapidated house, and she was greeted by an excitable Neil when she walked up to the door.

"Oh...Neil! Aha, yes...sorry about disappearing like that." She gave him a smile. "I had some personal business that suddenly came up. I am back now, though, so no need to worry too much about that." She reached into her belt for a few seconds before continuing. "I actually came back yesterday and just now completed a job at that Shrine Town. Lovely place, though you may not want to spend the night there, heh." Arletta chuckled lightly.
@PaulHaynek

I'll be getting a post later tonight if I feel less tired. Chances are It'll be tomorrow morning though~

Apologies for the slight wait.

@Valor@Lord Sawsaw2
Alexandria and Mis

Ceri protested only lightly to receiving a head pat, jumping lightly from the rather unexpected gesture but she didn't mind too much. She was already feeling much more calm around Illedrith already, which was good for a number of reasons. She glanced at Alexandria again from under her hood, doing her best to smile nervously from under her hood. Not that Alexandria would be able to see it, but she had to at least try as she replied.

"A-ah...I-I'm w-well enough..." She managed to reply quietly. "Just a little...flustered after hearing the announcement..." She let go of Mis' hand, pulling her hood over her face in her usual fashion before laughing sheepishly. "I shouldn't have been drinking anything, hehe..." She wasn't going to elaborate on that. Didn't want to put her own foot in her mouth more than she just did, and she really had nothing else to say on the situation. She wasn't a very good speaker, even at the best of times.

As long as she had the two of them with her, she could do this, right? Mis was a strong mage, and so was Alexandria...unlike her. Hopefully she wouldn't get in the way too much if she did get picked for the exam. O-oh, but if she did get picked that meant another more talented mage would have lost the chance...oof, she should stop thinking now. She was only going to hurt her mindset more with all these thoughts.

She wished the others would hurry up so they could get a move on.
