Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

And in this post, Claire becomes a drug dealer.

@PlatinumSkink

Been around on the guild as long as I have, yer bound to run into a few folks you've seen before, heh.

Moving through the ruins, Claire kept her hands to herself, electing not to test her luck for once as she moved through the forest. Getting injured here would be on the 'welp, I'm dead' scale of thing. Which y'know, would be bad for the long term goal of getting to the league. Still, it wasn't like she was the first to be here obviously. There wasn't much else to do, aside from admire the ancient stonework. There wasn't many items or mysteries to be had, save for some mushrooms.

"Hum," Claire knelt, picking them from the ground as Ralia poked them curiously. "Shrooms, eh?" Maybe she could sell 'em for some money? Didn't she read an article about people that collected them or something? Well, either way she had them now.

Continuing through the ruins, she was just about ready to turn back and head deeper into the forest when she nearly ran into a green pokemon. Stumbling backwards a bit, the redhead looked up at the creature. A large flower around its neck, and a pleasant, soothing smell greeted her nose and any tiredness she had was washed away instantly, the thick spores in the area seeming to have left completely. It seemed to be sleeping?

Quickly checking her pokedex, Ralia curiously looked over at the larger pokemong and began quietly approaching it. Leaving her Ralts to do as she wished for now she focused on the smaller Chikorita next to it.

"Oh my gosh you're adorable." Claire knelt on the ground, giving the grass-type a wide grin. Well, this was good! She could use a sixth pokemon, and a grass type to boot. "Hey there little guy," Claire held out a hand, a mushroom in it. "Want a mushroom?" Meanwhile, Ralia had teleported herself up to the Meganiums back.

Well, she had managed to heal herself, but still no skill. Hm. She'd likely have to attempt it by herself then. She opened her eyes, taking a brief look around to check her surroundings. The sound of goblins shouting, a faint scream. The fight had started then? She wondered how the others would fare. Oh well, not a good thing to get distracted. Nothing seemed dangerous towards them so far at the moment, and she wanted to see if she could acquire this skill.

Glancing briefly over to Naji to make sure the other lizard was behaving, Ash focused back on her own spell casting. She could ask the pixies for more help, but...call it pride. Or just distaste for asking for help. She was used to doing everything by herself after all. No need in involving anyone else. She could do it. Breathing in, she focused on that undercurrent she had felt earlier. Gently at first, she tried to take control of this current, trying to guide it towards the area where the previous wound was. It likely wouldn't have any physical effects since her HP was full, but she could hopefully get a system message of a new skill.

@Old Amsterdam

Oh hey, another person I know.

Hi friend.

yes yes. More people for Claire to harass.
"Alright," Kiri punched a few buttons on the data pad. "Marked and coordinates sent to the Stellaria." Whatever it was, it wasn't Terran or Myrkith make. Curious as she was though, she couldn't stay and check it out. If they weren't in unfamiliar territory she'd tell Yamada and Russil to get their soft-shelled skin out here and take a look at it. For now though, she resigned herself to finding that signal.

"If worst comes to worst," She replied to Kriev. "I'll wrestle anything that tries to eat us, alright?" She grinned, before motioning them to follow, leaving the crash behind and keeping her hand near her blade and pistol. Forests and jungles like this one, one always needed to be careful in. No telling what was lurking out there in the forests. The jungles of Kythphus and basic training taught her that. One was dropped in a remote part of the forest for about two months by themselves with a group of about fifteen other people, and given the simple objective of surviving and some very basic supplies. Was a form of weeding out weaklings and separating the leaders from the grunts.

As large as that bird was, she'd seen worse.
~~Ebon Shael~~

@Shoryu@Double

That was a spectacle for the ages! Ah, she watched the fight intently, burning every single sight of it into her mind, so she could give an ever so delightful tale to the president when she returned. A four legged night-beast, battling a fierce beast of the scorching suns! That's what Shael had deemed both of these creatures. A beautifully intimidating beast of night and a scorching, violent beast of the day. It was quite funny how even off planet, a similar dichotomy as to her home world was being displayed here.

Giggling happily, Shael simply ignored Astral as he was questioning her. He didn't seem to realize she hadn't been present at the crash site earlier. She however, took a pretty good few assumptions to realize he had already met Jessiel and the others. Good good! Peaceful dialogue had been opened! Which means she didn't have too! Which meant...

The dark creature of the night with a flowing mane settled its vision on her, before turning her gaze and voice towards the small quadruped next to her. So they knew each other then! Ooh, wonderful! They shall all be friends here soon! Shael quietly listened as the two seemingly conversed. The odd sounds coming from the quadruped was difficult to listen to though. So very rough, coarse, and non melodic. Not unlike those of the Sel'Chroma. The night one though - oh what a sweet, dark, beautiful orchestra her voice painted. Perhaps a bit of loneliness she picked up as well. Regardless, it made the Ebon giggle, eyes making a clearly happy expression.

As the smaller creature bowed, Shale took a few tentative steps forward, tilting her head in a curious, mildly off putting 90-degree angle. Ignoring the fire like fire creature, she observed the being of night curiously. Her side still hurt, a clear indication that she did indeed, still have something broken, but she pushed it out of her mind in favor of not letting obvious fear show on her features. As curious as she was, something as so clearly night aligned made her shiver.

The Ebon were the weakest on their planet, after all. The Chroma and Beryl were truly the strongest. The Ebon of the twilight just happened to be more clever than they. In a direct fight, they would almost always lose. Standing face to face with something like this was not a good idea. It wouldn't be the first, but a cute little Ebon like her could only take so much fear! And of course, the proper way to deal with fear and to study something was to irreverently touch it. Shael promptly planted her face in it, rubbing it with her mask and hands.

"So curious! An entire galaxy in such a small space! Tee-heh!" She moved her hand around, letting the cool, wispy mane flow through her hands as she tried to study it.
"Eh, what's that?" Malia's voice echoed over the intercom when he was told to come over. It certainly didn't seem to be of any familiar make.

"Hm." Kiri frowned. "Helmheim, you find anything?" She asked her companion, having now taken a full circle around the downed ship, taking a slow video feed of every angle of it she could from the ground. "Analyze this video then, Yamada, and mark it in the star map. We'll send the data back to the confederacy once we make a report for the planet." Turning off the video feed, she closed the comms and turned back to her current companions.

"See anything Kriev?" Kiri called over, taking note of those lemur like creatures at the edge of the clearing. They didn't seem to be too hostile, at least immediately. Curious perhaps, but she was still on guard. Looks could be deceiving. The jungles of Kythphus proved that more often than not.

"...I'll try to work on that, Lord Archene. And thank you for your assistance, Lord Xavier." Lena replied with a small smile, before turning to healing the wounded. It was easy enough work, and Lena made sure that Tania at least offered some minor assistance. Most of the servants didn't require the attention of her stronger spells, but it still made her non-existent heart feel for them. At least Lord Archene was doing a good job of clearing the rubble so this would hopefully be relatively simple.

At least until lady Glathra decided to put a small kink in those plans.

"Animals? Hah!" Tania smugly brushed off the fear. "I'm a queen. I'm not scared of a few animals. There's only one thing in this world that scares me!"

"Beasts?..." Lena, however, was taking this a bit more seriously than the pixie. That was no good. What sort of beasts would be here? Something that dwelled in caves, and likely nothing good. Tania wasn't much good in a direct fight, but she was fairly confident in her shielding abilities. "I see. Thank you for the information Lady Glathra. Please, get everyone to safety then."

"I'll take fancy robes and muscle fetish guy and explore the collapsed place-"

"Swords ready!" Lena shouted, a terrible, loud roar of death echoed from the hallway. The undead elf had already drawn her blade, holding her shield in front of her, ready to defend. In close quarters like this, she had very little room to maneuver but that was fine. All she had to be was a wall to stop others from getting by anyways. If they got close enough, she'd easily just whack them with her shield.

"Alright musclebrain and fancy robe! Lena will provide support and defense! You guys just bash those things head in or something!" Tania fluttered up to the ceiling, the horrendous smell causing her to scrunch her nose. "Ugh, you brutes smell worse than I do after a long day of work and that's saying something." She grumbled, waving her hand in the air, unleashing a blast of wind towards the swarm of undead, hopefully slowing them down enough for the two men to do their job of protecting the delicate ladies.

"Quiet..." She sighed, furrowing her eyebrow as she looked over the landscape of Penrose from atop her lofty position. Frowning, Katarina walked away from the roof of the building and back to her little 'apartment' if one could call it that. She didn't own it, no, she was a squatter more than anything. The top floor of some janky looking apartment complex in the poorer part of Penrose. Wasn't exactly comfortable, but it worked. Most people would probably be terrified of staying in some shady looking place, but she took what she could get. Wasn't like anyone was fool enough to try anything with her anyways.

It was almost too quiet, really. Ever since that stuff with some dark magical girl a few weeks ago things had died down a bit. That was good, wasn't it? Quiet was good. Call it paranoia perhaps, but she didn't feel any more at ease. When things got quiet, that was simply because whoever was up to no good was planning something and biding their time. That's how it usually worked, didn't it?

A quiet rumble of her stomach pulled her out of her thoughts. Ah, she should probably eat breakfast. Might as well treat herself a bit. Not like she had a lot of stuff to do here anyways. Grabbing her leather jacket, she slipped on her shoes and headed down the stairs of the apartment and onto the street below.

A small girl wearing nothing but a white tanktop, black jacket, tight jeans and athletic running shoes. She was getting more than a few odd glances from people. After all, she couldn't be older than ten or eleven, right? And here she was dressing so adult like. Some people might assume the kid was up to no good, but it was difficult for anyone to approach a kid and accuse them of that, wasn't it? So most left her alone to do her own thing. Not when she had a resting bitch-face to boot.

"Yes yes, I'm eating soon calm down..." Katarina yawned, stomach growling in complaint again. Ugh, it was unfortunate she had missed out on that cleanup a few weeks ago. She could have made a serious amount of profit from that. Not that she particularly cared too much about money, but hey, heroes gotta eat too. Eventually she found her way into a small place called 'Pitstop'. Wasn't particularly crowded from the look of things. Good, less questions as to why a kid barely over the age of ten was coming in to eat alone.

Taking a seat a few tables away from a gloomy looking teenager and after a small few questions from the staff she'd successfully ordered a simple breakfast of milk, pancakes, and bacon. Hmm, maybe she could find some work today...she glanced over to the gloomy looking teenager again.

...It was probably nothing.

"It hasn't changed a bit, hehe." High above the city of Penrose, was a girl standing in mid air. One of her feet seemingly balanced on a small dark sphere, the other pressing against the back of that foot. A smirk crept across her face as she observed the bustling city of Penrose below. She heard some big kerfuffle happened here or something during her absence. Ah, how annoying that she had to go help lord Iesud with something outside the city. Oh well, at least she had been compensated for her trouble.

"Remember what you're here for, servant." A voice echoed loudly in the air around her, causing the air to vibrate and crackle with violet and red streaks of energy. "Purify these animals!"

"Of course, of course, Lord Iesud!" A smirk slowly crept across her features as she replied, holding the side of her head with one of her hands. "Ahahah, oh it shall be so much fun to return here...Oh, I wonder how dear Penny is?" She did so miss her. Now that Isana was off doing her own thing she could use a new...target of her affections. Isana shall always be number one, but what would she be if she didn't play around a bit? Fufu. She'd look her up later. Or perhaps she'd return to her love nest to find her waiting on her? Hehe, perhaps, perhaps.

The air vibrated again, a deep, rumbling roar assaulting the air around her. Ah, he was really impatient wasn't he? Not that she could really blame the crotchety old dragon. Since she had been here last, he had gotten nary a single soul to devour! They were too busy focusing on something else...an insurance policy of sorts should anything unexpected happen.

Time to get to work she supposed!

Letting the orb used as her floating perch fall from under her, Chloe fell. Large crystals began growing from her legs and lower back, the violet crystals reflecting whatever light there was and crackling lightly with movement as they grew into two, beautiful crystalline wings. Giving them a mighty flap, the girl stopped her descent right before she hit the ground.

Upon landing, she didn't give the humans around her the time of day, not even sparing them a glance as the orb fell into her hands. The dark orb pulsed with violet energy, the air around it growing colder as she placed her other hand on it. Taking a deep breath, Chloe drew upon the power of her weapon. Wispy trails of magical energy flowed from the orb, following her hand as she pulled it off from it. The magical energy began blanketing the immediate area.

A crackle of magical energy was heard, briefly flashing purple light lit up the area as a portal was forcibly linked between the mortal plane and the one of spirits. A claw like, shadowy, wispy hand seemed for pierce the air from the other side, making a long, tearing rip through the veil and tearing open the rift before pulling itself through the tear, the portal closing behind it.

"Dance, spirits! Take your anger, frustrations, and malevolent feelings out on these humans!" Chloe cackled as the process was repeated, a dozen or so more spirits manifesting upon the mortal plane in the crowd of humans. The ignorant humans, not realizing the danger didn't flee at all.

Not until the first one screamed, the claws of one spirit tearing right through their chest.

"Or feel free to take one home or something, I certainly don't care. I hear possession is quite fun!" She laughed again. Now then - relinquishing her magical girl attire, Chloe began walking away from the scene. For all intents and purposes, she'd just hopefully pass as a normal girl with slightly eccentric fashion choices by the time those so-called heroes showed up.

"...acceptable." Iesude rumbled again. "But I grow impatient, servant."

"Ah, dear...perhaps we should work on recruiting more girls, my lord?" Chloe mused. "Working alone is so tiring." Iesud didn't reply, presumably thinking on the matter or deeming it a non issue. A complicated matter that would be, and it would maybe put a kink in her own plans...but oh well. She'd deal with that when it happened. For now, Chloe simply walked down the street, away from the scene behind her.
"Hah," Kiri chuckled at Kriev's comment. "If worst comes to worst, we have ourselves a free dinner." Kiri mused, turning to the good doctor. "Don't worry about that too much Doctor Ballik." Kiri responded. "This planet looked to have plenty of water. He'll be fine." Stepping out onto the foreign soil, Kiri inhaled sharply, frowning slightly as her uniform pressed lightly against her body. Myrkith clothing was made to be light, easy to breathe in, and baggy as to not hinder breathing too much, but it still was mildly uncomfortable. "We should be back in a few hours." With that, the group left the

The trek through the forest was easy enough, far less intimidating than the jungles of Kythphus. Several smaller critters moved by, though none seemed inherently dangerous. For the most part it was uneventful, until they came across the wrecked remains of a fighter of some sort.

"Definitely not Myrkith," Kiri frowned, taking a few steps around the ship. "Not enough metal plating. Fairly recent judging from the lack of plant growth...Helmheim, take a look at its internal systems. See if you can find anything." She turned to Kriev. "Kriev, stand watch in case that bird comes back. I'll send some video feed back to Yamada to see if she can identify it."

With orders give, Kiri pulled the data pad out of her belt pouch, booting it up as she started to move around the ship, taking a slow, wide angle of the ships exterior. The video should be directly uploaded to the ships internal systems.

"Yamada, you getting this?" She asked over the comms. "I need you to identify this or tell me if its alien." If they had too, they could mark it and send the information back to the Confederacy so a more dedicated research team could look into it.
