Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

@PlatinumSkink

Her battle with Erika over, Claire proceeded to walk around Stillwood, taking in the sights a bit like the typical tourist. Taking a few pictures with the pokedex, letting her pokemon have a bit of fun. Ralia taking a marker to a important looking statue in the name of 'art improvement' and otherwise not being up to the most respectable of past times. After sometime, she found her way to what looked to be a forest. Old and gloomy looking.

Well, maybe she should find the gym, and she was interested in that coliseum...Safe option, or totally reckless option?

...ehh, what could she say, she was a creature of habit! Bad habits. All of them.

Walking into the forest, Claire coughed a bit, sneezing a few times as the thick spores assaulted her nose. Rubbing her nose slightly, she continued on. The forest was absolutely amazing! Grass types as far as the eye could see - or not see. They were pretty well hidden, weren't they? The ruins were absolutely beautiful! Haha, she almost wanted to take a stop and smell the flowers, but Ralia made sure to warn her that they were vileplume before she actually ended up with a bad case of paralysis.

"Rrrral~" Ralia gave a happy little cry as she waded through the thick grass, off the beaten path slightly.

"Heh, don't get too carried away girl." Claire chuckled at her partners eagerness. A certain...tingle was etched in the air with this ancient forest. Claire glanced towards the thick foliage of the treetops. Kinda spooky, honestly. It just made her more curious. "Lets look around a bit, yea? Tell me if ya see anything."

"Rrrral!~" Saluting, Ralia, ran ahead slightly further, Claire trailing along behind her.

Actions taken: Search the ruins for anything interesting.
@Gardevoiran

Oh hey Garde

Fancy meetin' you here.
Isolde

Ha! Success!

Isolde gave a small shout of victory once Morag fell, excitedly bouncing in her seat. Well, that had gone well. Aside from a few small cuts and bruises they were doing well. With a flourish of her Halbered, she placed it back in its holder on Kergin's saddle as she turned to the others. They all seemed fine, too then. She breathed out, letting the previous nervousness fade somewhat. They could do this, then right? They just had to get the Fire Emblem to safety, right?

...

She cast a glance over to Romilda and Voss.

"Uhm uhm, I dunno who you are but thanks for the help!" Isolde shouted to Voss, moving Kergin over closer to the others present. Ah, what should she do here? She didn't know if she should voice her opinion of letting Romilda come with them or not. Leaving her here to die seemed cruel and dangerous, but after what she did...she was reminded of her own father. "D'ya think we should let her come with us?" Isolde voiced quietly, in an unsure manner.

~Chieko Okawa~

Middle of Alley, Suttling's Basin, Priestella

@Crusader Lord@Ryofu@Althiel@BrokenPromise

"Urf-" The mans hand hit the back of Chieko's head with a dull thud, causing Chieko to let out a quiet noise eerily similar to a 'squee' noise as she was cut off before she could so anything. "Y-you dare?!" She shouted in a surprised tone. Despite her surprise and attempt to appear mildly assertive, she was clearly failing to do so. Oh dear...she had gone and done it again, and she had annoyed everyone again, hand't she? grabbing the edge of the scarf she was wearing and pulling it tightly up over her face as the man started speaking. Bah, fools. Fine. Whose to say she couldn't do everything she wanted in this new world, huh? Why not?! Her pout turned into a frown as the man turned to leave.

...should she go after him? Before she could make up her mind herself, it seemed the other girl made up her mind for her. Aerith grabbed her hand, pulling her along quickly and pulling her from her internal stewing.

"E-eh?" She looked at the other girl who was giving her a playful grin as her scarf fell around her neck. She was a foreigner, wasn't she? Curious, she couldn't speak a lick of English so how could she understand her. A thought for later. "R-right. Uhm-" Introducing herself would make this seem better or easier right? "Chieko - erm, that's my name."

Before she could say anything else, however, something odd happened. There was the sound of clanking metal running along behind them, swiftly closing the distance. She craned her head behind them, just in time to see a knight dressed in full armor leap over them. A series of well time explosions vaulted him over their heads and land on the ground in front of them. Fire billowed from his nose. Was he being aggressive? Chieko didn't care.

"....so cool!" She muttered under her breath. It'd likely become immediately apparent to the other two her Otaku was about to come out, judging from the sparkles seemingly coming from her eyes. Hah! That was obviously magic, wasn't it? Ah, she was getting more and more excited at the prospect of being thrust into this world. That meant she could probably learn magic too, right!? Obviously she could, she was a heroine after all, haha! These fools obviously were just jealous of her heroineness, yes! She had to ask this guy how he did that stuff!

"So cool!" Chieko excitedly walked up to the man, clasping her hands in front of her as she grinned excitedly at him. "Was that magic? That was magic, wasn't it?" She was completely ignoring Irene. "Hey hey, how'd you do that? You can teach me, right?"

Mie Yukima

The Cham Square, -> Vertti household
@Tenma Tendo

Casually strolling along, Mie meandered through the streets of Priestella. Boring, for the most part. Nothing interesting at all happening. As she passed through the Gold Quarter though - something did catch her attention. Someone was being quite rude with their shouting, it was hard to miss it. She took only a tentative interest in it. Something about cultists and killing. She might have been interested in getting involved in some other time of the day when she was less...likely to be caught, but right now? She just ignored it, strolling right on by. She had decided she wanted to go check up on a friend of hers anyways.

Walking swiftly through the Gold Quarter, Mie eventually made her way to a large household that was clearly of Nobility. The Vertti household. A long time patron of hers, one might say. She often found specialty items for them in her travels ranging from rugs, vases, carpeting, and other things. Walking up to the house she knocked on the front door loudly. Fufu, perhaps she'd get to make a profit off of this eccentric again. Grisaia was...a nice kid, too. A little naive...and a little too nice, in her opinion, but then that's why she liked him.

She wondered what it'd take to change that niceness of his into something else?

Maybe if he was around she could mess with him a little.

Today had gone really well, hadn't it? Brothers and sisters sent off to school without so much of a fuss and she had so far had nothing but good things to say about her new school. She had already made a few friends, and the teachers seemed just as lovely. She'd normally be heading home already to make sure all her brothers and sisters were taken care of, but one of the requirements of going to this school was to join a club. Suzue had never been in one before. Never had the time to herself to really consider it. She was honestly a little concerned, not for herself or the club, but that she wouldn't be able to return home in time to take care of things.

Ah...perhaps this is what her closest sister meant when she said she worried too much and needed to relax more? Suzue sighed, shaking her head as she walked along the hallway, small box of brownies cradled in her arms. She had made some brownies for her siblings last night and made a few too many extra so she had decided to bring them to the club. Oh well, no sense in worrying about such things.

"Ah..." Upon seeing the sign, Suzue giggled lightly. Someone had a lot of enthusiasm. That was good. Walking into the room, Suzue echoed the thoughts of two of the others. "Haha, someone certainly did put a lot of work into it." She mused happily, taking a seat near the delinquent looking boy, placing the tray on the table.

"Hello everyone, Suzue Yamazaki. It is a pleasure to meet all of you." She opened the container of brownies and motioned to them. "Uhm~ I made a bit extra, so I decided to bring them. Help yourselves." She seemed to eagerly await someone eating one.
Nice nice, I'll get to posting by the end of the day sometime.
~~Ebon Shael~~

@Shoryu@Double

Things just seemed to be getting worse and worse, didn't it?

Shael clung to the tree, grabbing her side lightly. Maybe re broke something. Thought for later. She was far too focused on the castle happenings. The creature hadn't pursued it past the tree line, having seemingly decided to focus on the new threat. Whatever it even was, Shael hadn't a clue, but she'd very much like to study it, but now wasn't the time for scientific inquiry. The sun had moved behind the moon, in an image that would have caused great alarm back on Sal'Xantis. Normally such a thing wouldn't happen, considering the solar synchronous orbit of her planet, but she doubted the controlled eclipse here would be the same.

She turned her attention back to the darkness and the illusory creature, her heart calming down considerably. The darkness had lifted, and with the light, came a more thorough understanding of the situation. More of those quadrupeds were walking around, dressed in some fancy masks and costume. Were they the same as that striped one she had met earlier? Chances were likely. More attention drawing one, however, was the one standing nearly two feet taller than the dragon.

"...Night mother?" Shael mused. "He-he! Similar, but different. Not the ruler of ice and night, hee-hee!" She giggled quietly, staring into its nebulous mane. Ah, she wanted to touch it! Perhaps if she could get close enough she could figure out if that was an actual nebula or something entirely different. How did that happen? "Ah, still wary of...dangerous..." She shook her head, coming down from the tree now that things had seemed to calm down somewhat as the dark nebula quadruped spoke with the authority similar to that of the Sun Emperor.

The calmness seemed to last only for a moment, though. The large creature seemed to attack the other in a show of force. Tsk, well, that wouldn't do at all, would it? Oh well, she'd watch and observe like a good, silent, little Ebon.

"Hee! Crashed on a foreign world with no knowledge!" Shael mused to the pony she had landed next too. "Attacked by Illusions and now watching tall nebula pony and a large scaley thing fight. Ahaha, this planet is quite dangerous." She turned her head to the pony. "Ah, and shiny crystal quadruped! Hehe, quite odd life here!" Not that the pony would be able to understand anything without a translation. All he'd hear was pleasant hums, chimes, and chirps.
~~Seleth~~

@PaulHaynek

Seleth felt that shiver again. Practice what she preached? O-of course she would! Humph, she was the best after all, of course she'd do that. She wouldn't balk in the face of danger, of course not. At least the knight seemed more at ease, but that did little for her own mind.

...

She nervously cast a glance back at the Knight as she left. It was just...silly, wasn't it? Of course it was.

She made her way back to the Radiant Cathedral. She had been told she'd be contacted for her next mach, which would be tomorrow or the day after. Good. She could take a rest, then. Not that she needed it of course, but rest was always good. Maybe she should've taken some time to enjoy the festivities, but after what happened with the knight, she felt...a sense of doom? Something just didn't seem to be sitting right with her and she couldn't focus. Maybe some meditation and quiet study was in order. The silence of the Cathedral would be welcome.

Before she could start on that however - she was interrupted by someone she did not expect to see.

"Ah, Varjan what are-?!" She stopped herself mid sentence. What was he doing here? Here to gloat? Rub his own victory in her face? She had never seen him here before so she couldn't fathom any reason that he'd be here. She turned to face him, resting her spear against her side as she responded.

"Haa...I haven't fought any of our classmates. Just some slow knight." Seleth replied confidently. "I won flawlessly, of course." She boasted, not deciding to mention if the match dragged on she'd have lost. "More importantly though...what are you doing here? I haven't seen you here before. Here to gloat or brag about your own victories, hm?" She walked over, to the pew, standing next to him. "Or are you here for something else?"

~The cavern~

"Scientifically speaking, the gullet is the esophagus." Ash replied in a mildly irritated matter of fact tone, frowning and giving Naji a mildly displeased glare as he rested on her back. "I'm assuming if its a skill then that means you could have an ability to eat a lot of...unpleasant things." She cast a glance back to the goblin corpses as she limped along. It was a good assumption to her, at least considering what he did. "English, though? I am native to the United states, though I learned several different languages when I was alive. Parents made me." She grumbled, shaking her head. That was neither here nor there though. They had arrived at the small campsite she had made with that goblin the other day.

"Well that was tiring." Ash sighed. She wanted to rest and recollect her thoughts. Taking it easy after a fight like that would be good, but she'd be negligent too. Night was falling and if those goblins thought they were clever then they'd be attacking right now under the cover of night. It was a good plan, after all. The longer either side took to attack, the longer the other side had to prepare. Objectively, the goblins should have the upper hand here, too, but she could always count on a human being to fuck things up and do the unexpected. First things first, she should try and heal.

"I would advise against wasting Mana, Danny." Ash commented. "Its good to practice but with the threat of danger heading our way, it'd be best to save your energy for when you need it." Funny, coming from her and considering her history. "Naji, I'm going to attempt to heal myself with the stone Scott made me. See if I can gain anything else from it in the process. Keep an eye on Colchain would you?" She was hoping the lizard wouldn't run off, but at the moment she still couldn't be sure of his loyalty. He was still 'Dominated' after all, and according to the system they would only stay as such under certain circumstances.

Regardless, Ash vomited up the healing stone, resting her wounded claw over it.

She slowed her breathing, focusing on the stone under her claw, trying to feel that same undercurrent she had felt before and redirect that energy from the stone to her injured arm.

"How far is close by?" Kiri asked as she stepped off the elevator, catching the end of Cherche's assumption before turning swiftly to Erka after Cherche answered. "Stealth systems engaged?"

"Affirmative." The Ant replied. "If human tech does what it says, the ship should have a chameleon effect going so anything visual won't pick us up easily."

"Good." Kiri looked out of the cockpit at the landscape, leaning over Erkas chair, studying the forest's edge quietly. "Keep me update on that signal, Kendrick. We'll conduct a preliminary investigation of this planet. I estimate our away time to be anywhere between three hours to six - so if we haven't radioed in sometime after that, assume something has happened." She walked away, turning from the cockpit and heading towards the cargo bay. "Tearch, you have the Bridge. Stay Alert and don't let anything on the ship without my approval. Stay alert." Pressing the button on her comm unit, Kiri spoke.

"Helmheim, Kriev'en, Cargo bay in five minutes!"

"Are we leaving that way?" Jessica asked. "Well. whatever. Guess you're the boss here." She added, shifting on her heels and wheeling over to the Cargo Bay. She made it there quickly since the Engineering Bay was close. "Hey, so, we gonna get going then?" Jess asked, "How did you want to proc--."

The Engineer was cut off by Cherche coming up on Comms. "CAPTAIN! We.. Uhh, well. Two things. First of all, I've located the position of the signal. Three or so clicks northwest, through the jungle. More importantly though... Well, the terminal down there. I'm sending a video from the front camera of the ship." She sounded worried, so it was good for the three to walk to the terminal in the bay. Usually, it was for taking stock of items... But...

Once the video started, it showed the trees slightly rustling in the wind. Nothing seemed amiss for the moment... Until the trees started to shake unnaturally. A shadow became visible in the shade of the trees as some of the smaller ones were pushed aside or toppled completely. The shadow exited the jungle canopy and looked around. By human standards, it was approximately seven meters tall and at least 2 across. It looked frightening yet familiar. "The hell... Is that a giant toucan mixed with a dodo bird or something?" She asked to herself more than the others.

It did resemble some unholy cross between toucan and dodo. It's eyes had a similar look to a felines though in the position of a toucan's. It's beak and head shared definite similarities with a toucan for the most part, aside the spike on the tip of the beak and the apparent teeth that seemed to line the top of it's slightly open beak, but not the bottom. The brown colored lower body was fat like a dodo, with small stubby wings that in no way could allow it to fly. It looked around, as if knowing that something had been here. After a couple of seconds, it seemed to decided that there were nothing here and turned back to the forest, angrily smashing into a medium sized tree on it's way back. "A giant... Toucan Dodo. Can't say I expected a giant one of those things. Or... That it looked so ready to gore someone to death. Teeth means it eats meat after all."

"It umm, it's heading the way you're going to be going. I don't need to tell you all to be careful, right?" Cherche added, "Play it safe out there."

By the time Kiri had made it to the cargo bay, she was greeted by Jess. Easiest way out of the ship - the Airlock was built for docking with another ship or a shipyard. Inefficient and a security hazard to make multiple ways onto the ship. Some might also say it was a safety risk, but you couldn't have everything.

But of course, things couldn't go so smoothly to start with.

"Look at the size of that thing." Kiri chuckled, folding her arms across her chest watching the video. "Hmph, if I wasn't on duty I'd take me home a hunting trophy." She chuckled, pulling the lever to open the cargo bay doors. "Don't worry about us, Kendrick. Focus on staying safe yourselves."

"We run into anything intelligent, don't do anything reckless. We don't want to needless get into conflict with some natives." Her tone of voice was light, but there was definitely a serious and no nonsense inflection to it. "Lets move out. Three clicks isn't too far, but we'll need to get to walking. We run into that bird, don't do anything reckless but we're not going to let it stop us either." Walking down the ramp, her feet were the first to hit the foreign soil
