Bio

Got nothing to say here, sooooo yeah.

I'm a bookworm, gamer, and obviously roleplayer since I'm on this site :P

Anyways, those are a few things that I'll say about myself... for now. Maybe I'll update this a little more in the future.

Ciao!

@Savo I don't generally go by first come first served basis when it comes to my RPs, so don't worry about the count right now. If you're interested, toss something in. And I'm fine with having a pause button as a power, but what sort of desire would align itself with that? Pretty easy answer, but, you know, just checking to see if you were thinking of a power that's relevant to the character rather than just a power that sounds interesting.

Thanks! In any case, I was thinking of both relevancy and how interesting a power is when coming up with this power, but I digress.

To easily explain why it fits, running away from/ignoring reality (somewhat) and subsequently trying to find himself in the process, not belonging while trying to find a place where you belong, being a bit of a tryhard, etc. Basically a bit of in outcast with little to no friends, which probably doesn't help much due to having a bit of a foreign heritage and impressions. Also, may or may not have a tendency to explore this city as a part of the running away portion and such, as well as trying to dive into/having a peculiar curiosity about what lies beyond the depths of this city. Weird shit happens and no one bats an eye? It gives him myriads of things to do.

So yeah, he's gonna be a bit on the sliding scale of immature to mature, but how pseudo-timestop plays into this all is sort of easy to define. When he "stops" time, he's basically in his own little bubble, his own little world. He can go around the place, exploring as much as he does with this power but can't affect the world with it since its his stopped time. However, he eventually will have to return to reality, as he can't roam here forever. Along with that, not belonging while trying to belong, stopped time allows him to be himself without exactly attempting to be this edgy teenage kid; he feels he doesn't belong much around certain areas in this world, yet when everything stops, he can finally belong, with no one to judge what he does, thinks, or says. Finally, the tryhard part; stopping time can give him some hindsight in identifying things, which will allow him to show off once he crafts a plan on how to react during his stopped time since he usually rubber-bands back to the position he was originally in once time resumes.

That's why I went with this power; equal parts relevant while being equal parts neat in my opinion. Hopefully it clears things up or is a bit fitting; if not, then I'm willing to try and take some recommendations on how to improve this.
This rp seems to be a bit curious.

While I do have a couple of character idea in my head, namely more of an outcast kid trying to find himself and ignoring the reality of the world since he doesn't care too much about it, choosing to indulge in the more supernatural side of things, or at least investigate and adventure across the city. Sure, he would do decently in school, probably have a few hobbies, but I think there would be a general case of not belonging and mainly just trying to find himself as a kid growing up; might make him half-n-half when it comes to his heritage to make an even bigger divide as well. I need to work on meshing all of these ideas together, picking them out, seeing which fits, etc.

However, the power I have off the top of my head is a pretty easy one - pseudo-time stopping. Sounds overpowered, right? Except it really isn't.

It's easier to say that he "stops time," but its more like an out of body experience of sorts. He can't harm or change anything in stopped time, but only observe and watch, move around, etc. Once time starts to move again, he returns to the prior spot he was in... which can cause whiplash depending on how far he was from his original spot. He can't move items around, open doors, etc., but he'll be able to know where certain items are, observe how a certain person moves, and possibly react accordingly if someone is trying something malicious against him. Won't exactly be perfect since he has to rely on his own physical body to move, so yeah.

My pitch for an idea. Hopefully there's still room.

Edit: Or not... crivens, I took the hook a bit too late since I'm the sixth. Maybe I'll just keep an eye on this all, the premise sounds interesting enough after all.
Aurel Fuchs

Location::Showers & Bathroom Area => Amphitheater
Interacting With:: Monokuma (@TheSeriousJoke)

A chill ran down his spine as he trudged to the amphitheater, hair still drenched from the lukewarm shower. While he still appeared with a cool, aloof mood, there was a seemingly dour glint hanging in his eyes. He could almost bet that if he stood out here any longer, he would catch a cold.

... and why might you ask had soured his mood?

He was semi-wet of course... also because someone stole his clothes... really, the only thing on him were his shoes and a towel, draped around his waist. It was impossible to comprehend why someone would just up and take his clothes. Even more troublesome was that he left his keys and tablet in the pockets... the thought of just not showing up crossed his mind but... ugh...

Aurel swore remembering something about imagining a crowd naked, but with that being the reverse, he found this situation to be ridiculous as he he willingly hid himself from any sorts of prying eyes. After a few minutes of miserably dragging his feet through the dirt, he arrived at the theater, noting that, outside of one or two people amongst the rabble, almost everyone was here.

He peered to the ground as he skittered to a seat, shivering as he forced his mouth shut to mute the incessant chattering of his teeth as he listened to the bear pop out, do his jig, and told them something he considered to be a huge waste of time...

... and looks like he wasn't the only one to find the bears showboating to be one vain attempt on its part.

"... sh-she does have a point... plus it... feels like you're d-desperate I might add," just as his voice rose up, he did too... and it didn't help that he was on the brink of sneezing as he trembled while stuttering just a tad.

And in one step he vanished, saying no words as he exasperatedly trudged down the step, pondering on myriads of topics ranging from hindsight with this motive to attempting to figure out loopholes with each of these rules.

However, one thing was set in his mind as the wind swept past his back, causing a chill to surge down the thief's spine. "... I need to find my clothes," he murmured to no one in particular as he reached the bottom of the stairs, departing in the direction he came from.
Welp, here's an old chary for this rp.

Did you not think I would notice this shit Allen?

Thinking of possibly rejoining with Klaus because why not.
I know I'm the gm, but here's my shit for you guys to judge.

Since it's going to be a lot easier to track reviews on here as opposed to discord, I'm just gonna continue the reviews right from here.

@wxps350, Ivory is the only character I'm fine with currently. I really only have a problem with the former two, but that's just due to a few moves that I'm curious about.

For starters, I'll focus on Calvin. I really only have one gripe with him... and that's the regular special that seems like almost a Pseudo-super for me - Frost Grip. From the way you describe it, him quickly gripping this opponent and channeling his ki into them will quickly freeze them in a short amount of time. This seems more like a pseudo-super since I have no idea how long the ice lasts, or if it breaks upon him throwing it, or something. Fix this move and he'll probs be alright.

Following that is Rod. Main issue I have with him are his stuns, which seem to be rather easy for him to pull off. So, Lightning Kick and Electric Ball... I was thinking that maybe he should follow the same premise as the Professor, but that would be boring if they had a somewhat similar move. So, how about this - his Lightning Kick doesn't stun, but rather works in tandem with his other moves by dealing more damage to a person based on if they had been electrocuted recently, like, maybe there's a bit of static surrounding them that disappears over time? And maybe the Lightning Kick takes away that static debuff?

Further more, if you want a stun attack, I would think that it should either be precise or worked towards... which is exactly what I think Electroball should provide. Depending on where you hit an opponent will cause that part of the body to be slowed down for a short amount of time, or until hit with Lightning Kick... however, if you manage to somehow get a headshot, they'll be stunned. The rest of the move is fine, i.e. where he can detonate it while its floating in the air, but make it so it doesn't stun them like this.

Finally, Ivory. You thought she was the one with issues and probably thinking I would nerf her... which is ironic, since I wasn't going to in the first place. Regardless, Anticipation is the one I have issues with and one I'm comparing with Vindani's old moveset... or super. Maybe I would be a bit alright with it if it was her super, but since it isn't... how about limiting her to memorizing two or three of the opponents specials instead? Like, if she see's the move, dodges it, and decides to focus on avoiding that, she'll be able to pull it off more easily as they use it more?

Fix these or come up with a better alternative and you should be good to go.

@Afro Samurai, sorry for taking so long, though I have an issue with one of Gamba's supers and that's really about it. The move is called The Stone the Builder Set and it's a bit... weak. He can take one ranged attack and this defense goes down. Sure, being able to endure physical damage a lot better, but there's also the fact that it's only for a short time (how ever long you define that). I was thinking that he could keep the timer and physical defense, but allow him to be passively immune to projectiles (or deflect them automatically with a tendril or something), but at a cost. Every time he negates or deflects a projectile, the timer for this armor grows shorter and shorter. This is also the case with physical attacks, but I would say it's honestly negligible. That's my thought on the matter. Buff it like this, or buff it with a better alternative that you have and you should be good to go.

@PsyKick, I'll get to you since you told me multiple things in the discord (and I might just have it there since it's easier at this point), so yeah, going to discuss things about your charys.

PENUMBRA's announcement to the world.
