The focus fire was a success, the black knight's chestplate shattered and then the rest of its armor crumbled away as it revealed a person beneath it, collapsing to the ground unconscious.

"That must be one of the other people we detected... I'll have Kazuki come pick him up", she said. The stairs were immediately next to them, but Rui opt to wait a minute until Kazuki had arrived, he arrived with Riku as well, and the two quickly just grabbed the guy and headed back. Not many words were exchanged, just a few pleasantries.

"Right, we're going to keep going. Let us know if you detect anymore of those knights", he said... The knights didn't seem thematically part of the dungeon, which struck him as a little strange, perhaps testament to the fact that these people's egos were overpowered by whoever the dungeon's owner was. Regardless he moved along.

As they reached the second floor they entered what appeared to be a bath house, at least not before a small corridor full of rooms, they seemed to be like an Inn's accommodation rooms, and then there was the hot spring. The bath house led outside too from what they saw, but they were a bit cautious to keep going. The main area for this floor looked like the outdoor hot spring, many times more spacious than this little changing room they were in.

As they entered the outdoor area, they could see passive shadows taking a dip, much like in the first floor, but these ones were noticeably more... Aggressive. If anyone here had met Jun before, they would be reminded of her advances towards other women. It didn't help there was a slight pink tinge to some of the lighting, suggesting a bunch of things.

"I honestly feel like I shouldn't be looking at any of these...", he commented. The implications were enough to tell him this.

As the tombstones were taken out, the party was able to focus their efforts on the knight. The Garula proved effective, it didn't seem to have any resistance to it, but after a few exchanges, it's weakness to fire was abused and then it was quickly taken down. As the knight fell to its knees, its armor crackled and broke apart, revealing a man beneath it, eyes white until he was completely free, and now unconscious.

"This is... One of the people who got wound up in this... I'll move some people in to pick him up"

Among the people who did was Matthew, Shizuka was a bit uncomfortable with the cavern, so she asked if she could take a small break, so Matthew agreed and the two switched duties for the moment. As this was going on, Kami with Ryan scouted ahead and found the stairs, so they headed back to inform the party.

"We've found the stairs... Ayano, we're going to keep moving up", and with that, they headed off.

As they went up and arrived to the next floor, it looked as if this area was like some kind of secret passage for the inn. They could see many parts of what seemed to be a building's foundation. One could imagine this could be a kind of secret escape route. The area they were in was just a long winding and somewhat narrow cave hallway... If they were attacked here, it could be trouble, so the idea for this was to keep their magic users in the middle, so that if something attacked, they would already be in formation.

"Sooner we get out of this hallway the better...", he grumbled.

I'll get to criticizing everyone's sheet after class and get to everyone from last night who said something; @Sho Minazuki I haven't exactly given the yes or no yet, so no need to post yours yet. I know the aura stuff looks pretty neat on paper, but I feel that it is rather... obsolete considering that it takes away from aura. I'm sure a much simpler method can work through having a weapon that hardens the dust and turns it into a projectile that performs the features you mentioned from earlier. In short, it drains energy (I believe) when there are easier, simpler methods to use at least in my opinion.

Anyways, Allen and I have decided to spice things up for the final two spots! If you haven't been accepted yet and feel might be lagging behind (or if I'm a friggin' moron and treated you like Kellam from Fire Emblem Awakening), there is a last chance to get in!... and stuff. Deadline is by Friday as that's when we will start grading everyone's sheets! Here's the rubric!

It's not his only form of combat as he still has his twin knives and hidden knives, and his crows can gather small amounts of energy for him to replenish that aura for a few throws if need be. Him using his aura freely like this isn't a problem, since it's a very small amount anyways. A tiny drop in the bucket so to speak. I can't think of an easier form of this without making his semblance even stronger really.

Personality: He feigns emotion, so to speak. Only knowing combat for so long he is unable to properly express himself, which is why he acts so nice all the time, polite, and so on and so forth. His exposure and working with a team has built within him a sense of camaraderie and responsibility, which is the reason he undertakes the quest that he has after the incident at Beacon. Otherwise, he is quite forthcoming, polite, and cooperative. When faced with resistance he has the capacity to torture if needed.

History: Even as a student, Krahe's past was largely unknown, though he seemed to blend in as a student with little difficulty. As such he never stood out, but his team appreciated his skills very much, and him being a faunus wasn't quite so obvious, as it seemed to only show in his red eyes. Regardless it helped him blend in, which helped him greatly. By his final year at Beacon he was often looked to for repairing equipment and electronics as he had become quite proficient at doing so, not to mention he made his own weapon himself too. While many students do make their own weapons, what makes his stand out is that it's essentially a new technology, though he has kept that hidden.

His true past that which he is aware of is that he was one of the "hitmen children" of a Vale mafia, children trained to be skilled hitmen. He was rescued from it when the ring was broken, and has been adjusting to normal life from then on out. The other 11 children though were not so fortunate, he being the youngest was not yet indoctrinated with a kind of hypnosis where they follow a certain creed or ideology to the letter. After the incident at Beacon, he has taken it upon himself to find and hunt them down, he was planning on it after graduation, but that artificially came sooner than expected.

Weapons:

• Nightmare - A pair of gloves he made himself, when he first arrived to the academy his only weapon was his hidden knives, twelve of them in fact, but with knowledge and resources he's managed to create a very interesting weapon. The Nightmare is a glove with an array of dust vial slots on the forearm area, what the weapon does is allow Krahe to materialize his Aura, and inject them with Dust for extra effects. He can create all manner of things, such as keys and small simple gadgets, but for combat he can create small throwing weapons like knives and needles.
  
  • Throwing them infused with dust has the same effect as dust bullets
  • If he gets a good throw with a needle, they can seep into a person's body and act like a poison depending on effects. Fire dust might have an intense inflammatory sensation that can be paralyzing, earth could stop blood flow, or ice can cause frostbite in the area. He requires a clean throw meaning deep penetration, but all the same he can just jam them in at melee range.
  • He only needs the primary dust, as he has mixers on the glove that create for him secondary dust such as steam and ice on the fly.
• Black Talons - Twelve knives, two hidden in his elbows, two under-slung on his forearms, two parallel with his heels which can let him stick to unexpected areas other than combat use, front and back on his shoes for a total of four, and two combat knives, one of which designed to disarm opponents.

Semblance:

• Murder - As some at the academy called him "The Dracula of Crows", which is pretty apt. He can split himself into many crows and reform, he can only stay unformed for a small amount of time, but this can allow him to evade attacks and counter-attack when the crows reform quickly someplace else. Not to mention these crows themselves are able to do scouting for him, and are able to do what birds do, like find things and maybe peck someone's eyes out. The semblance has pitifully low power in exchange for it's incredible utility.

Strengths:

• Bar none one of the best stealth and informant Hunters Beacon has ever had to offer. His crow semblance coupled with his inherent sense for stealth can essentially allow his team to know the position of every enemy in the area.
• He is incredibly good at killing other hunters. In his time at Beacon before it was devastated, he was being looked into joining a group that hunts other hunters who have lost their way.
• Being an avian faunus means he has incredible agility and jumping height.

Weaknesses:

• His ability to kill monsters like Grimm are pretty much nonexistent, maybe if he got a weak point to strike he could burn up some fire dust to combust on a needle, but he has no reliable form of costless Grimm-slaying.
• He's good at evading and running for a reason. Direct fights are terrible for him. When confronted directly, he must rely on his disarming dagger and hidden blades and hope to surprise the attacker to get the upper hand.
• Being an avian faunus means he also is naturally not the most resistant to damage.

Relationships:

Other: His name meaning "Crow/Raven" and "twelve" respectively is inspired by a German tale called "Twelve Brothers". A king wants to kill his twelve sons, so that his thirteenth child would be a girl, she alone can inherit his kingdom. The Queen tells this to their youngest son, Benjamin, and that she will give them a warning with a flag.

After twelve days of waiting in the forest, the sons see a red flag, indicating that they shall be sentenced to death. The brothers swear bloody revenge on every girl and move to an enchanted cottage deep in the forest, where they must feed on animals.

Ten years later, after hearing of their existence, the sister finds them there, where the queen hid them for precaution. Together, the siblings live in harmony. But as the sister rips out twelve white lilies out of ignorance, her brothers turn to ravens and fly away. At the behest of an old woman, she decides not to speak and not to laugh for seven years, in order to save her brothers.

A hunting king finds her and marries her. His mother however, slanders the girl's silence, and convinces the king to burn her. The rescued brothers save her from the flames, and with the mother-in-law executed, all live happily together.

Trivia:

• He takes inspiration from the crow hunters of Bloodborne, as they are also hunters who hunt other hunters.
• His theme is that of Hibiki Kohaku's from Blazblue. Similarly they are both assassin types. His design was based off of him too.
• As of the incident at Beacon, he's handcrafted a crow mask for him to use while on the hunt.

@CadenGallic I was planning the two characters be third year, they were written with that in mind. I think it'd be more interesting for Krahe to graduate first, for his manhunt on his "siblings".

If you want to use poison, I'd suggest a more interactive form, like being able to have unique access to a kind of poison dust element by applying your semblance to it. Say you apply it to your fire dust arrows, you get an acidic fire arrow, or to ice, you get a frostbite arrow.

Name looks good, thanks for the explanation.

Anyways, final year at Beacon... I'm pretty sure all of them are freshmen currently. Also, new technology? I'll get to that part later in the weapons section. Other than that no complaints at the moment.

Weapons... I sort of find the aura a bit... iffy. The poison to a degree, but lesser so. I can assume the poison doesn't affect Grimm, right?

If only he had his best friend to help him hit on all the ladies... or at least one of the three Grays. I wish him luck to getting booty, so move him over to the cs section. Hopefully he likes being bottom right now xP

Certain types can affect Grimm, although they work differently. Fire might just burn away a small part of Grimm from the inside instead, as poison doesn't really spread in a Grimm's physical makeup, they don't have a circulating biology like humans with their blood and such. As said, his ability to kill Grimm is very small, so if he wants to make this useful against one he needs to hit something like joints.

The main use of the aura weapons is to make small throwing weapons. He's technically a ranged character.

But aight, that means I can throw him in the character tab right?
