NOTE: Main Scenario quests are quests that are the most relevant or more directly follow the RP's main story. Other than story content, it is identical to Side Quests, in that both bestow upon players gear and various bonuses. There will also be a "Points of Interest" section as well, however as this is Chapter 1, taking place in a mostly populated region, there are no major PoIs. PoIs for explanation are often places like shrines where one can obtain a blessing, or a place where one can learn new feats, or somewhere that may hold equipment hidden away.
Main Scenario
Jaque the Ripper The recent string of murders have taken on a grotesque turn as victims have been found to have been mutilated days after their disappearance, presumably after they had been kidnapped. The investigation and it's intimate details are known only to those working closely in the Hylian authorities and law enforcement.
It is believed that because of these mutilations being incredibly specific, and some traits matching old scripts from the Holy See's forbidden library, dark rituals are taking place in the city somewhere. It is believed that these rituals are related to the rise of Ganon Cult activity as well as Yiga Ninja activity.
The killer has left calling cards identifying himself as Jaque the Ripper... Among many other ridiculous almost comical names, but Jaque the Ripper turns up the most.
Side Quest
- Hyrule Combat Tournament: A combat tournament done in elimination has begun in Hyrule City, the event itself is annual, at the same time of year, so there are many who have come to watch and see each year's combatants. It appears the previous champion has retired though and they're doing this tournament as one of many preliminaries that will be held throughout all the regions on this day. As long as you win at least one of the region's tournaments, you qualify for the grand finals later down. Each tournament will give it's winner a reward, but the best reward is in the grand finals.
- Case of the Disappearing Horses: Lon Lon Ranch has put out a notice and reward for someone who catches the horse thief. Authorities are currently occupied with the murders so are unable to help, so Talon has turned to trying to get some help from bounty hunters or someone trying to turn some money. You can speak to him at the Lon Lon Ranch if you're interested.
- Disturbance in Ordon: A Leaf Knight has been seen prowling Ordon Village, the villagers are a little concerned, but it seems he's looking into something, though he won't share what. It seems to be a solo mission but he doesn't look adverse to getting help. He should be somewhere just outside the village, likely at a small camp he made himself.
- Keeping the Peace: Groans and complaints from the Hylian Guards tell of the crime rate in the city had been steadily increasing over the past year and it's gotten to the point where they have proof there's been an organized crime ring newly formed. They have put out rewards for various identified criminals.
