I'll be going on a two week vacation starting tomorrow and don't know how often I'll have Internet access. Thank you for your patience. I'll try to be more regular when I get back.

I might go for Vulcanusmon
@13org

Actually, Vivian/Sylvia already volunteered to go talk to Bart.
Sorry for the delay, everyone. Been distracted, while also trying to figure out where to take Salem next. I think I'm gonna have a collab with Xalt.
@1Charak2

Actually, Zel hasn't posted yet. I failed to mention that we weren't in a collab this time. I also know what time zone they're in so it's not quite Sunday night for them yet.

Wisemon offering to show them the location of the books to 'jog' their memory came as a slight relief as it meant that hostilities were not quite open yet. Gil relaxed slightly, and followed Wisemon and the others into the room. With things slightly calmer, people started introducing themselves, so Gil felt it was as good a time as any to do the same. "I'm God-King Gilgamesh, and I'm an Armadimon," Gil declared, then turned to Wisemon, who had bristled at the mention of royalty, "But don't worry, I am neither a god nor a king, it's just a nickname. Makes me sound tough, right? But I get that it's a mouthful, so you can just call me 'Gil'."

As the others discussed the books and explained to the humans the details of digimon growth, Gil came up with an idea. Turning back to Wisemon, he said, "So, since you trust that we didn't steal your book, but are understandably distraught by its absence, maybe you could...send us on a mission to retrieve it! I'll put my life on the line to help you get your precious book back." Gil didn't know what a Wisemon was exactly capable of, but he assumed that Wisemon was some sort of magician-type, what with being surrounded by so much digital information, so his next suggestion sort of came from left field, "Do you know any, like, spells? I get that you might think I'm saying all this just so that we can escape, but maybe you could place like a beacon or tracking spell on me or something, so you can check on the status of our mission. And to make sure I stay on track, you can...you can make it an exploding beacon! Whoops! Haha, I mean, but just on me, of course..." He looked around sheepishly, afraid that he had just volunteered the entire group to a pretty messy situation.
Sorry for the wait. Here is my character submission. I also made the assumption that the aliens are somewhat judgmental anti-religious secularists, so please correct me if I assumed wrongly.

Vivian & Sylvia Altissima

@PaulHaynek @13org @Rezod92

"But if you ask me, I... I don't think it's about the guild's safety."
Talia

"That's...a good point," Sylvia said, introspectively, "Though Bart's stated reason, being concerned about the guild's safety, is rational, his behavior is irrational."

"He's behaving like a child, you mean," Vivian butt in.

"He's behaving emotionally, but if his reasons were purely rational, he wouldn't be emotional and would argue things through calmly," Sylvia suggested.

"Instead, he's just blaming Neil. The fact is, I don't care who's fault it is; Bart is the older, more experienced person, not to mention the guildmaster, He HAS to be the adult in this situation. By allowing this situation to persist, he's actually undermining his own authority. Bart's well within his rights to exert his authority by expelling Neil from the guild for insubordination..." a look from Sylvia caused Vivian to quickly add, "...of course, the better option is to reach some sort of amicable compromise. The fact that Bart has done neither means he's not fulfilling his responsibilities as guildmaster, letting Neil have his way without permission and just moping about it."

As dinner was almost done being made, Sylvia sighed, "Please invite Neil to have dinner with everyone. Vivian and I...will bring some food to Bart and try to smooth out this situation. We grew up in a small business ran by both of our parents, well, foster parents. So we know the friction that comes from being in an organization with people that you have strong emotional connections with."
Ramadan just started, so things have been a little busy on my end as well, but should smooth out as I get acclimated to the routine.
Actually, you know what? Screw broken promises!

Eileen Fang // Ailanthus Altissima (Tessa)
:: The Streets of Thorinn // Thorinn ::

Tiferet leaving the group once again did something that was seemingly impossible: it soured Tessa's mood further. Not that Tessa was blaming Tif or angry at her, but not having a healer (and a friend, though Tessa would never say it openly) around did make things harder. But business was business and they'd have to make do without their healer turned necromancer.

Rael, the restless redhead that she was, quickly pushed ahead and prompted the newbies to introduce themselves, but her manner of doing so left much to be desired. There was no point talking about who they were or what they wanted to do; what mattered was what they were with respect to their classes and builds and what they could do with them.

"Alright, casual fun-time is over," Tessa interrupted, clapping her hands to draw attention to herself, "Enough about dreams, tell us about your kits. I'm talking mechanics. Tank? DPS? Support? Heal bitch? Truth is, the three of us are all on the tanky side, which has been fortunate, given the circumstances, though I'm more of an 'armored mage'. My handle's Ailanthus Altissima, 'The Tree of Heaven', but people mostly just call me 'Tessa'. I refer to my playstyle as Gatekeeper or Oppressor. Basically, don't come near me or my party. I'm a walking disaster area and apply almost all of my spells through auras, with a focus on disabling opponents with damage and some light support. I can shield, but I can't heal, so one of you better be a healer. Also, this is a 'for business' run. I spec'd hard into enchantment crafting, and people are going nuts for survivability enchantments right now. But higher-tier materials won't farm themselves and no one has the balls to go out for them, making this a lucrative gig with little-to-no competition, as long as you're strong enough to keep up."

Now she waited to hear them explain their styles so she could try to consider their future strategies and formations.
