@Black Alice Sorry bout that, though maybe if you want fairies, you could make Fae? Not small sprites but tall elven like creatures who gather in courts and twist the words of others for their own benefit?

"Of course, don't worry about it," Aaron offered, he appaeared to be doing his best to seem reassuring. He hooked a thumb in his pocket and relaxed his posture, now in a seemingly calmer, more relaxed, position. Salem felt his shoulders relax as knots in them, caused by the tension, slowly undid themselves with every visual cue insinuating that Aaron was no different than him. "Are you looking for help with magic too?" Ofcourse hed think that, look at me, I look a mess right now. Then again it stands to reason that he has had more training than most newcomers to this school. Salem silently reached into the front pocket of his satchel and pulled out the photo of Lucan.

"I was wondering what you could tell me about Lucan Bordeleaux. I'm aware that you both have ties to the Noila family and was hoping...maybe you could give me some insight on him?" he began to place his hand on the back of his neck, relieving some tension. A nervous chuckle escaped him as he looked down at floor, kicking it beneath him slightly before lifting his eyes to meet Aaron's gaze once more. "Where are my manners, my names Salem, Salem Spellman. And I wouldnt be opposed to a magical study group...as it were." he extended his arm out towards Aaron and then Lillie.

"Hm, Lucan Bordeleaux." The woman said as she took the picture while handing him a pamphlet. "I can't say I know him in particular but his family name is relatively well know. The Bordeleaux run the most militarized territory to date and they are pretty much the Noila family gaurd dogs but I don't know the family well enough to say who he is. Sorry." Scarlet gave a shrug as she passed back the picture.

Ofcourse she wouldnt know. It's not the others jobs to keep a dossier on every single student, let alone memorize it. Salem's face began to flush as he blushed with embarrassment, barely making eye contact with Scarlet. "No need to apologize, the information you gave me was more than helpful, thank you." With that he turned away, taking the pamphlet and photo, placing them into his satchels front slit. It was clear that Aaron may be more useful than previously thought, his connection to the Noila family may allow him to know more about Lucan than most in this school. Salems steps were heavy, each reverberating in his ears. Loud thuds, taking up all the sounds in the room save for one, the rapid beating of his heart. Every pulse shook through his entire being as he slowly approached Aaron, nervousness swelling up within him. Just breathe, breathe. His eyes scanned Aaron as well as those around him. He made note of the longsword and rapier. Longsword, perhaps he and Lucan trained together? This could be the right track.

Finally he was there, to the right of Aaron and Lillie, he went to speak but his words became choked. It was as if hed forgotten to breathe and then "A-Aaron? Pardon the...uh..um pardon the intrusion." he turned to smile towards Lillie, trying to gain some confidence from her visage. He could feel it happening, smell it, to him it was the scent of freshly ground herbs, an oncoming storm, and old leather binding, to others it would manifest as their favorite scents. " I was hoping, perhaps, you could help me with something...if you wouldnt mind that is, not that you have to ofcourse I just-" he was rambling, knowing full well that at the very least his scent may prove a bit of a distraction so that they wouldnt notice the full extent of his ramblings. Breathe, Breathe Slow deepen breathes were taken in as his eyes scattered about the room looking for certain objects to help ground him. The episode had finally passed and the scent subsided, Salem stood there fidgeting with his thumbs awaiting a reply.

"M-my liege, you truly are the greatest King and warrior to ever rule Dremoria! A true legend! I humbled to be in your presence!" Samael listened intently to every word that left these mortals mouths. Any information is good information after all, strengths, weaknesses, locations, whatever he could gather for the supreme will be considered a victory. Dremoria, it appears that is our current location. We seem to not be in Ygrasdil anymore, just as our supreme had anticipated. What's more, it appears I found an appropriate target, a king of all things. I must report what I know so far.

As the King laid on the gurney, barely clinging to his life, Samael took the time to prepare a missive. He allowed his shadow to extend slightly, out of anyone's view, underneath the gurney. There it would begin to split, duplicating itself on the dark mass that laid below from the lighting. A clone of Samael, formed of a shadowy mass, now lingered beneath as Samael made his way back into the kings shadow. No words were needed to he exchanged as the shadow fully understood its purpose and slithered through the cracks of the building and outside. Leaping from shadow to shadow attempting to remain stealthy, once it had finally reached the forests line, it bolted with immense speed towards Abaddon. "Samael sends word. He has entangled himself into this kingdoms leader, The King of Dremoria, and is currently gathering intel for our supreme. It appears a struggle happened somewhere to the west of where Samael was stationed. They made mention of a demon who was inevitably slain. These inhabitants have wings, dark as night, Fallen, Nephilim, or something entirely different is unknown." With that, his shadow began to search the surrounding areas for others, so as to inform them as well. Starting with the East, through the North, then West.

“Sorry, I just find it funny how many of us have that problem. That’s why they make sure a Plant mage is always here you know?” She held out her hand to shake his. The nails were bit short and a few flecks of dirt had made their way underneath them. “Scarlet May, plant mage and the head of the gardening association here at Noila. Your problem isn’t going to go away until your get your magic under control a bit more unfortunately. All you can do right now is figure out a few calming exercises. I have a pamphlet with a few if you’d like.”

Salem took her hand shook it, noting the flecks of dirt, and her attire which proved she was more hands on than some care to be."Salem Spellman, it's a pleasure to meet you Scarlet. I am glad to hear I'm not the only one who has struggled with this dilemma." his voice was smooth and collected now as his muscles began to relax having heard it was a natural part of being a plant mage. Validation, Salem always sought it as a refuge, some way to know he isnt a disgrace; especially if that validation didnt come with a price, meaning he wasnt a means to an end. "I think those pamphlets sound like a great idea, honestly. I typically go the herbal route, calming teas, less caffeinated diet, and tinctures if I need it. After all, every bit helps. I wonder if you would also, by any chance, happen to have anything on controlling ones magic? Being able to, not just suppress it, but channel it, and embrace it. When I care to, and not just as a defense mechanism."

It was at that moment something began to catch his eye. A light source that grew brighter and brighter by the second, then suddenly a luminous flash and then nothing. Once the Salem's eyes began to correct themselves from having stared into the flash, he saw that Aaron Starag was behind it. Of course it was him, why wouldnt a well versed mage from a noble family be showing off. Damn if he isnt impressive though, perhaps he can show me control when classes arent in session...who am I kidding, noble like him wouldnt look my way. Salem shook his head slightly, as if to rid himself of the thoughts, then looked back towards Scarlet, pointing at Aaron "That is what I need. Control, even the smallest bit will help. Also...today is my first day and I was wondering if you could tell me anything about my partner? I havent had the chance to meet him yet." Salem pulled out the photo with his name and handed it to Scarlet for inspection.

Once Salem had arrived at the academy he was met with an impressive gate and two staff members who attempted to help him unload his luggage. "Just a second please." he requested as he opened up the trunk and pulled out several collapse-able dollies. "The trunks contain many fragile items and equipment, please exercise the highest form of caution when handling them. The back and trunk of the car were filled with traveling trunks, clasped shut and locked to insure nothing could fall out. Salem stepped towards one attendant while the other began to handle the luggage. "Here is an envelope containing your dormitory, partner's name, and a photograph of them as well. Now this is your schedule, mages and vampires have their own classes as you may of guessed. Don't worry, you will meet yours soon." Salem took the items and slid them into his leather satchel. His satchel contained a wooden frame inside to help the bag keep shape. Along with the frame were metal rods that contained a dozen miniature gyrosphere's holding vials of Salem's blood, ensuring they wouldn't be jostled as he walked. "Thank you, could you escort me towards my orientation? I'm afraid i will arrive late, yet again." a nervous chuckle escaped him as he began to shove his hands into his pockets. Salem could hardly keep his gaze off the ground while speaking to the attendant. The attendant gave Salem a firm nod before gesturing for him to follow alongside him.

As they strolled past the fountains where just the other night mages and vampires had mingled together, he motioned his right hand towards a path lined with flora. Salem closed his eyes, taking in the scent of the nearby flowers. Lavender drifted through the breeze, no doubt in place to help relax the students that were being thrust into this new world. "Dormitories are over there, you will be living alongside your vampire partner. We preach peace and equality here at Noila Academy, and thus you both will receive the same accommodations. We do hope that you two will get along and build bonds together. Here is Rose Hall where your orientation is currently taking place." Salem pulled out a golden pocket watch, clicking it open and noticing the time was 9:30 pm. "Thank you for your help, I'm sure my partner and i will get along just fine. If you'll excuse me." Salem gave the man a half bow and quietly opened the door, just enough to slide in. He slowly closed it, keeping the handle turned the entire way so as to avoid the sound of the locks clicking into place. He found his way towards the back of the crowd noticing a few characters that stood out more than others. A woman with silvery hair that shone like the moonlight, and a man with golden hair like the sun. He seemed famliar some how, as if he had seen him in his lessons or- Aaron Starag?! What was he doing here? Did the Noila vampires attend the school as a formality? That must be why he is here. Salem sat down with his thoughts as his eyes wandered around the room. So many mages in one place, How many aspects are in this room alone? Once the speeches were over and the mages were free to roam, Salem pulled out the envelope containing his vampires name. He stared blankly at it, tapping it against the palm of his hand anxiously before finally opening it. "Lucan Bordeleaux. Pretty...very pretty. I sure hope we can get along" Salem tilted his head back and closed his eyes, shaking his leg as he sat there fidgeting with the envelope. He finally mustered enough courage to stand up, rising fast then opening his eyes. His legs walked with determination as he searched for someone with the name tag of "Plant" at the stage. When finally there his voice was low, clearing his throat with his hand rung around his neck once more. "Excuse me, I was hoping you could help me control some of my power? I seem to be having an issue with...pheromones?"

Well now, isnt this interesting? Nephilim? Fallen angels? Or simply bearers of magic items. Either way, they may hold information of this area and it appears one is wounded. Perhaps I can gleam something from their conversation. Sameals shadowy mass constricted to the shape of a flock of birds, all of the wings fluttered so as to touch shadow to shadow, giving the impression a flock was flying up above. He moved swiftly towards the shadow of the injured man and as soon as he entered it, began to mimic the torso. No arms, legs or head so as to not have to mimic too much delicate movement. From there he would lay in wait, listening to their conversation and moving along with the shadow of the man. Samael studied the way the men acted, spoke, what they wore and any symbols they may have to attempt to gain any piece of knowledge that would be of use to Lord Volaris. He knew not how he would communicate this information to him as magical means of communication were denied and he would need stay with this gentleman for a small portion to gain as much information as possible.

Abaddon stayed atop the Cathedral, watching over the others to ensure they did not need further assistance. It seemed, for the most part, that many of them were keeping true to the mission. Some scouted without being noticed, others were caught yet remained neutral as instructed, it appeared a recent fight had broken out and left charred remains and league's of blood to drench the scene. Whether it was one of their own whod faught or someone of this world, was unknown. If it was a resident of this new location then it was worth noting the immense strength that they were capable of using. Abaddon continued to examine the area until called for, needed, or if he deemed it necessary to report to the Supreme of any urgent news.
