Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Pandapaw23: I thought I accepted it?
The classes would largely be glossed over, probably.

Students can fight after school, as long as it's on school grounds.
It's close, one fight might be able to squeeze in, but a ton of fights like what it looks like is possibly too much.
@Ryougu: Emiri's just recommending that you don't cut too much into class time with battles.

Technically you can fight during classes but it's not recommended.
It was about then that a somewhat squeaky voice could be heard to the left of the group.

"You're lucky you didn't cause any serious damage to the pavement with that stunt."

Clad in pastel pinks and blues, a highly stylized school uniform, Tamura Emiri.

The first of the student council members, the girl who had arrived at Shiroyama with Yukimura Atsuko herself, and one of the shortest girls in the entire school, the tiny childlike figure sucked on a lollipop, arms folded across her chest. She wore a rather amused expression.

"The Wolf wouldn't have been happy to see property damage occur outside of a fight~" she continued, shifting her hands to her hips and giggling. 'The Wolf' was another of the council's members, and the head of the Disciplinary Committee on top of that. "Luckily Emiri just sees some oh-so-smart students wasting their lunchtime!"

Taking her lollipop out of her mouth, one of the school's four rank forty-nine students cocked her head to one side.

"It won't be long before it's over. It's not that I mind you fighting, that's why this school exists, but don't you forget when the period ends," she added, placing the lollipop back in her mouth. "Maybe you should consider splitting this little group up and taking your fights one at a time?"

She shrugged.

"Or you could ignore Emiri, but she wouldn't recommend that~"

It just says it can't be displayed.
@floodtalon: Image isn't working. ^^;
You might as well, I hope it helps get things going.
@Crimmy: Yeah, I figured Tsukuyomi's infodump would confuse some of these poor high schoolers.

Which is why I decided to up the confusing language from my original version.
There was still a fair amount of time before lunch ended. Chinatsu realized, even if she hadn't felt it too keenly, she must have been quite hungry, given how quickly she had finished off her bento. And she was still in the mood for something. While she didn't normally care to buy anything from the cafeteria, it was always an option. And so, deciding to satisfy her urges for more while the lunch period was still ungoing, as she left the rooftop the small pigtailed girl decided it would be best to head down to the cafeteria and get herself something else. A drink or something. She hadn't actually looked at what the cafeteria had avaliable before, to be honest. Hopefully, no-one would decide it was time to bother her unnecessarily, or some other irritating action.

She didn't need anyone else deciding to stupidly involve themselves with her for no reason like that big guy Isobe had, and while she'd fight anyone she didn't want her lunch period interrupted with a random challenge. Sure, if someone just attacked her she'd fight, but she wanted to satisfy some non-combat related desires right now. Ones that involved filling her stomach, not beating someone into submission. Her twintails bouncing as she descended the stairs, Chinatsu headed further down. She hadn't really spoken to anyone aside from that guy she'd defeated yesterday, and that was fine with her. She didn't really want any distractions from her chief goal at Shiroyama High School.

When she reached the cafeteria and headed inside, she just tried to maneuver her way around and hoped nobody would bother her. Especially... ah? Was that...

... Was that those airheaded bimbos from the Fashion club? Well, Chinatsu certainly hoped none of those idiots would notice her.
