Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Okay, while I'm glad people are enthusiastic, making huge posts makes it a bit difficult for other people to introduce their characters and understand what's going on quickly. ^^;

I'm not saying make super short stuff, just... not everything needs to be really really long. ^^;
"Hmph..."

Hikari gave Tokiko one last glare. Seriously, acting like that after the new magical girl intervened to help her... What, was she supposed to leave her to face two enemy magical girls alone?! Why were they fighting in the first place, anyway?! Magical girls were supposed to team up to fight really bad stuff, right? Not just beat each other up! Unless... were those dark magical girls? They didn't look like it... gaaah, it was so confusing right now! And the girl she'd helped was an idiot too!

"... I'm Hoshino Hikari, I just became a magical girl," she said, with another huff, as she introduced herself to the other girl who had showed up. She looked like she could be a foreigner, but Hikari wasn't sure where she was from. In fact, she looked a bit familiar... but not as someone Hikari had ever seriously spoken to before. Perhaps someone from her high school? How many magical girls were there then...?

"What's this Hex Night thing, anyway?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips.

"The Hex Night is a battle between magical girls!" the fairy suddenly chimed in, "No-one is killed, so don't worry. But the victor gets their very own wish!"

@DocRock: That does indeed become reality in the game world. Any backstory that was created is now reality.
@TheMushroomLord: Unless PKMN sees any issues, accepted.
@TheMushroomLord: The latter, she can still be a vampire, just remove her being undead since vampires are separate from standard undead.
@TheMushroomLord: Vampires were actually one of the things we did work out details about for reasons, so let me just double-check to make sure that everything falls in line. ^^; Sorry for not mentioning this before!

Aside from vampires being their own thing separated from most undead, you fall perfectly in line with what was planned so... yeah!

Accepted, just edit that and you're good!
@DocRock: To add to what @PKMNB0Y said, the NPCs are now real people who have real histories. It's be hard for them to accept something like that.
@DocRock: Not her idea of exciting, but it's not the kind of thing she means.
It looks like there's no boring but practical types for Megumi to get angry at.
For a few moments, as she was lifted to her feet by the huge green girl, Hikari was still kind of stunned. The blow from Naoko's kanabo had rocked her arms and sent her flying, she'd never been met with something like that before. This was a day of new experiences for the small, currently red-headed girl, it seemed.

But when Tokiko started yelling at her...

"... Grrr... what was I supposed to do!?" she snapped, "You were getting attacked by two other magical girls! After stepping in to protect me! Would you prefer if I just sat and watched while you got overwhelmed and beat up?!"

Hikari paused for a moment, small, delicate hands clenched into fists. She didn't need to be treated like this after stepping in to try and help! Besides, how could she have passed up the opportunity she'd been given? Not that she'd admit to her desire to be something like a magical girl. What was the fight all about, anyway?

"Besides, why are magical girls fighting anyway?! What's this whole Hex Night thing about?!" she cried.

Suddenly, the fairy from before seemed to reappear.

"The Hex Night is a chance for every magical girl to obtain their very own wish!" she declared, brightly, with a smile. It was at that moment that yet another magical girl showed up.

"... How many magical girls are in Tokyo, anyway?!" Hikari asked, looking around at the others.

"Well, a large city needs more magical girls to protect it, so there's quite a lot!" explained the fairy, "On top of that, there's other girls showing up for the Hex Night."
