Willa sees the fireworks in the sky and memories flood her mind and she pulls back. "No, I don't think we should go towards that. It could very well be the scientists. Why would the underground put up a firework telling everyone where they are? That is the ass backwards way of staying in hiding." Willa turned around biting her lip. "No, I'm not going anywhere near any of those groups. I don't trust 'em as far as I can spit at 'em."

Willa looked at Jason "Did ya really have to tell him that ya killed 'em? Ya could have said ya knocked 'em out."

Willa was fidgeting. Her gut was telling her to run as fast as she could and get out of the country. Starting over again, not what she had had in mind, she had liked where she was but time changes all things. Her fears were confirmed that the supers were coming out of the closet so to speak. She however, was not ready to put her life on the line for strangers because of a firework. She shook her head vehemently "No! No way am I going there!" She pointed at them. "If ya want to end up in a cage go ahead!"

Shiver saw Ro'kun and she just wanted to kill him right there. She tapped her comlink and told Ro'kun "Ro, You are standing in the middle of a drug buy. Did you just ask him about a sandwich? Take out the guy on your right. I got the other one and Gadget? Get the one in the middle. GO!" At that point Shiver took her target and electrocuted him just enough to make him twitch continually. She stood back and watched to see what Ro and Gadget would do.

Nikki Hyatt

Nikki was making rounds around the interior perimeter of the building. They had not gone by the gym or the cafeteria or the mechanics shop for that matter. She had seen Jenna talking to some new guy. She didn't feel like talking so she was hunting. She was almost in a fog. It was so dark she couldn't see the other end of the tunnel. She couldn't get past it. Nolan was gone. All her thoughts showed him and her, goofing off, kissing, watching the stars in front of a bonfire and talking about their future.

She lost nearly everyone and everything in her life. She wondered was this what her dancing, martial arts and cheerleading had all been about? Was that it? All her life she had been training herself to protect others? Or was it a cruel joke? Humanity pissed off Mother Nature so now only the prepared and adaptable get to live? If that were the case Nolan would still be here. Few people thought about things the way he did. He was always prepared for just about anything.

She came upon the gymnasium and she quietly unlocked the top of the door and then listened against the door before unlocking it. Nikki carefully opened the door and hit the light switch. She was so glad it was summer break. The gym was thankfully void of any walkers. Nikki went into the locker rooms/bathrooms and checked those as well. All of the rooms connected to the gym were clear. She checked on the equipment and determined that the gymnastics mats would be good for sleeping on. She grabbed a couple of them and dragged them back to the front hallway of the school. Nikki dropped them on the floor right next to the Dean's and guidance counselors offices.

Nikki went to investigate the other rooms in the office wing. There was a stray maintenance man who had to be put down near the art rooms but other than him there was no one. She went back to Matt and Kat and waved Jenna and Felix over.

"Okay, the main floor is clear except for the cafeteria, that will be my next stop. Firstly let's get everyone settled. The office wing is interior walls on the left side and on exterior walls on the right side. That means Kat and Grace must stay on an interior wall. So your room must be on the left just so that you have extra space to block any sounds that might make it to the outside. I'm guessing that we are all probably going to sleep in the same room tonight, if any of us sleep at all. Basically pick your bedroom down that hallway. There is a private bathroom in the dean's offices so that will be easier for Kat too." Nikki pointed to the mats from the gym. "This is going to have to do for now. There are blankets in the nurse's office and in the theatre. Jenna, can you and umm you, guy next to Jenna."

"This is Felix." Jenna said feeling a little awkward.

"Thanks, Jenna and Felix can you two go back to the gym and get some more mats? I checked all of the rooms adjoining the gym, locker rooms, aerobics rooms everything over there is clear. I don't think Grace will allow Matt to leave her for a while. Kat, let's go pick out a room for you guys."
