Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic stories. I love fluff and whump in equal measure (well... maybe whump a lil more)
I enjoy creating original characters for RP, but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me if you like,
however I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

After receiving the invitation, setting aside the time, and confirming the date, Sophia had made sure to arrive at the port on time. In stylish loafers, slouchy socks, miniskirt, and sweater, she'd even shown up early, just to make sure she didn't miss the boat. A luxury yacht cruise headed to an island resort? Yes please! She could just imagine all of the different kinds of pokémon she'd be able to meet. She knew she was technically invited in order to promote the resort, but there wasn't a better way to advertise than just treating it like an island getaway vacation, right?

So once she'd arrived, Sophia promptly dumped her bags and suitcase onto the dock and then went off to explore a little.

She didn't go far, just to the boardwalk and the small beach with the 'no swimming' sign. Her Comfey was wrapped around her neck like a lei, smiling happily as the two of them posed for selfies against the ocean, the city, some Wingulls they found, some Clamperls they found, some Pidoves they found... and more.

After the latest photo Sophia wiggled her fingers together, peace sign formed into scissors. "Mmkay, I guess we should go get comfey on the ship," she told Bibi with a smile. The pokémon chirped back at her.

With Bibi still around her neck Sophia wandered back to the ship having expected the boarding to be underway already. She was surprised to see it wasn't. And then still wasn't even ten minutes later.

"What the haxorus... why are we all still standing around..." she muttered quietly to herself.

With all of the invitees (or at least all of the ones that accepted the invites) just waiting to board, the air between them got a little awkward. Sophia thought about going to look around some more, but she didn't want to be gone whenever the captain and crew did show up. Instead she turned her attention to some of the more interesting members of their little group:

There was an Espeon and a Rattata here!

Look at those cute puffy whiskers! She thought to herself, admiring the tufts of fur on both of the pokémon. It was clear they were well looked after. Look how shiny that jewel is...♥ And how sharp those fangs are...!

While she swooned, she was treated to a few other nice surprises. The first was one of the men (actually, was she and the shorty the only girls on this trip?) sending out a Rotom. Sophia's attention snapped to it, her eyes sparkling. That rare color! ♥ Aw, and it plays games! So cute!

Then, someone flew down on their Togekiss. Oh wow! That plumage! Hehehe, I can feel that good luck already!

This trip was going to be preeeeeetty nice if she was going to be close quarters with a bunch of pokémon she could get to know. Maybe it wasn't all that bad that the captain was late after all.

She didn't even notice the complaints, the people beginning to break the awkwardness with introductions, or the final arrival until her name was said. Then it was like a little light in her brain started blinking, bringing her back to the real world.

"Hm...?" She blinked and looked up, finding the face of the man that addressed her. Oh, shit. Had everyone just been talking around her?

Without missing a beat Sophia smiled at André, raising both of her hands into V-shaped peace signs next to her cheeks. "Yaaay, always nice to meet a fan~" she said, her voice high pitched and lax. "My socmed manager handles the collab requests though~"

She then noticed another splendid attendee: a Clefable at the man's heels. Wooow, that plush pink belly...!! That swirly hair! ♥ she thought, but before she could fall back into spacing out she seemed to recognize this particular pokémon.

"Oooh, isn't this Jolie?" she asked, looking back up at André. "Then that makes you... Jolie's co-star!"

This was how she connected the dots that she was talking to an actual movie star. She'd seen plenty of André's movies before, as a fan of the Clefable to often took an acting role with him. "Hehehe, sorry, sorry~ I didn't recognize you at first."

She'd definitely love to have Jolie in a video on her channel.

Now Sophia was taking more of an interest in the actual humans with her. She glanced around, scanning their faces. That was... a pokémon champion. Which made that Togekiss... Elysium, if she recalled? Another famous pokémon! And that was another championship trainer, meaning... that Espeon was Sai, wasn't it? So many celebrities... maybe the Rattata and Rotom were too?

Sophia squinted at Bat and August. The former she wasn't really sure if she knew. He looked fancy enough, but... well, she'd just have to get to know his Rattata him. The other man seemed more familiar; she was pretty sure he was an artist. She recalled seeing some of his work before, but unfortunately the name of his Rotom didn't come to mind. She'd just have to get to know his Rotom him as well.

Naturally, any of the other equally famous guests didn't get more than a passing glance since they didn't have their partners out.

"I think we'll all have a good time~ Let's just see when the captain gets here~"
So can someone give me a summary before I start reading, so I know where I'm at?

It's still early on the first IC day (Spring 1?). Fia visited the Alderdice's shop, but left after seeing it was closed (so that would be up to you why, like Fia got there too early, Luna late, etc.). Jane, Mimi, and Erin ran into each other on the street. Jane and Erin are both also headed to the market, Erin to deliver bread and talk with Luna/her grandpa. Mimi is tagging along. The three then ran into Fia.

Emma and Aaron are at their respective residences, and Callum and George are about town but alone for the moment.
Erin Miller

Location: Town Streets
Timeframe: Early Morning
Interaction(s): Jane @Cyrania, Mimi @Lemons, Fia @Carlyle

Erin giggled at Mimi's wink. She was glad the other woman was as excited about the new neighbor as she was. Jane probably didn't know about the island's supposed curse (and if it was up to Erin it would stay that way), because if she was she probably never would have chosen to live here. The fact that she did move here meant that something had changed though. After years of people moving away, someone finally moving in was definitely a new turn of events. A good one.

After practically forcing the loaf of bread on Jane and purposefully avoiding her offer of payment, Erin kept up with her and Mimi as they continued down the cobbled road.

"Heh, I dunno about that. Mimi and I've lived here our whole lives. But I'm sure you'll get to know it well enough. And like it too! It's not that big of an island, but we had... uh, we have, a lot of stuff on it."

Before she could elaborate -if she even intended to, as it seemed she was about to change topic- there was a zombie-like groan from ahead of them. This was a familiar zombie though, one with bright red hair and the messy clothes of her own particular brand of artist.

"Ooh watch out!" Erin said, skipping ahead of the other two women with her to head Fia off by sticking a fluffy bread bun into her mouth.
I was actually thinking if making it a new day on my next post. But we can always say it happened at 1 AM. xD

Like moving to Thurs Nov 4th IC? In that case I will have to send you a giant PM with behind the scenes stuff lol

Unrelated, but preview of Sporko and I's collab:

To be honest. It's hard to keep up with all the OOC talk XD I completely missed it.

Oh yeah, it definitely is at times.
I did not realize rich districts can be upgraded to Aristocratic districts. Mhm... Asterion might have some grinding to do in the future.

It got mentioned in the OOC a while ago, kind of buried now
Still collabing with ERode and Sporko, but here's a post set in the morning from me in the mean time.

Following the early morning phone call with Glyde, Adel tossed his phone onto his desk and himself onto a plush leather sofa with a sigh. He had no doubt that today was going to be just as eventful as yesterday. The West side especially was sure to be a shit show. When he'd arrived back last night he was filled in on everything properly, and once again this morning he had a folder's worth of notes to sort through. The most pressing information he'd go over again after his other two early appointments were finished.

The first, meeting up with Matthias FitzClarence to make good on his end of the deal. And, hopefully, get some more business going with the Order. The second... he really didn't even know. After Swift had let him know that she hadn't found anything in Heavy Crossguard (and once more reminded him that if she actually knew what he wanted her to find she could be more help), she'd also brought up the fact she'd met with someone looking for him. A mutant child or something.

He'd told her to send them to the police commissioner instead. Then she happened to mention the stranger's unique circumstances, and curiosity really got the better of him.

Speaking of.

"Anybody made progress on that 'Ig Notus'?" He asked, poking his head out of his office door once he'd summoned the energy to stand back up. He was met with a few shakes of the head. That was alright, he still had time.

Adel didn't like just waiting around, though. It would still be a little while until he met up with the Lodestar, and a while longer until the afternoon news and seeing about whatever Swift had planned. Until then, he went to snatch up his phone again and send out a couple of messages.

I have something of interest for one of your detectives.
Have MacAoidh reach out to me, unless you feel like footing the bill yourself.

The first was to Commissioner Franchesca. It hadn't even been a full 24 hours since they'd spoken, and though he couldn't give her any help on her own personal case yet last night had been a very informative one for Leon MacAoidh's. They'd just have to see if the man would be up for paying for some assistance.

I know you asked me not to look into it, but I couldn't help myself.
Not ruling it out just yet, but I didn't find anything in H. Crossguard.

The second was to Omakase's leader. Poppy would just have to trust him that he hadn't told anyone else about the missing kid. Hopefully this would help her narrow down her own search, as he had no doubt she'd keep looking until the kid was found... one way or the other.

Before a familiar coldness could seep into his skin at the thought, Adel turned his attention to planning out the rest of his day. He didn't get very far before there was a rap on the door frame and Griffon stepped inside. She held a newspaper out to him eagerly. He took it with a raised eyebrow. Right now she looked almost like a kid trying to suck up to a parent - actually, that made sense. They'd had a minor tiff over the whole Cyrus thing once she'd told him what had happened. He couldn't actually be mad at her all things considered, and she found it hard to stay mad with anyone in general.

"Congrats, ya did it boss," she said with a grin. Adel's gaze flicked to the paper's headlines, scanning the multiple big stories. Griffon shimmied closer, letting him know to flip the page and tapping a small little article in the center:

𝚂𝙸𝙻𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙸𝙳𝙴 𝚂𝚄𝚁𝚅𝙴𝚈𝙴𝙳 '𝙱𝙴𝚂𝚃 𝙿𝙻𝙰𝙲𝙴 𝚃𝙾 𝙻𝙸𝚅𝙴' 𝙸𝙽 𝙽𝙾𝙲𝚃𝚄𝚁𝙽𝙸𝙰.

Adel let out an amused puff of breath. Since when was that a question on the census?

"You know we don't officially run Silverside," he said. Griffon chuckled.

"Sure, alright, whatever. But look - says we got one of the highest standards of living. Best GDP in the city or something. It's definitely 'cause of all the money you pumped into this place."

Now that might actually be true. Ever since moving to Silverside and putting his base of operations there, Adel had invested heavily in the borough. Into businesses, charities, and even criminal elements to keep them docile. He wanted to attract wealth there, and not just his own. If Silverside was filled with the wealthy, it would also be filled with their own security systems. Cameras and guards were everywhere, protecting their employers' assets - and Adel hid in plain sight, just another rich snob with a gallery among them. When every neighbor had hired a miniature militia, the Silver Canary didn't need to worry so much about protecting the entire area. It could protect itself at this point.

"I guess that's something in the news to celebrate, for once."

"Celebrate~?" Griffon's grin turned sly and she turned on her heel, ducking out of Adel's office and shouting, "Boss said he's buying us all sushi tonight!"

A round of cheers echoed even as Adel scrambled after her. "Wh- No!"
