As good as gourmet Chinese food would be, Guan was curious on what the Japanese people ate everyday. As far as knowledge from the Grail went, it seemed as if the food was.... similar at best, but not the same as his dear home country China. And he would prefer to eat gourmet Chinese food made by the fair hands of a Chinese maiden. He would settle with sushi or whatever else Japanese people ate. "Regardless of that, I shall bring victory to you, Master!" The invisible Lancer said. "Also, make sure to call me Lancer. Having my identity discovered would put me at a disadvantage."

Construction Site

With his master hidden and with his helmet under his arm, there was only one part of the puzzle that was still lacking. He took his helmet and put it on, making his blue eyes glow in the dark yet again. He put his arm out, and soon enough, his naginata appeared out of thin air. He grabbed it and started spinning it around as if to show off, though the only one there right now was his Master of course, he still wanted to show her just what kind of warrior he was.

"Watch me, Zhu! I shall show you just how powerful the Lancer class is in reality!" Striking his naginata into the ground and the blade burying into it, Guan smirked, ready to face whatever opponent may appear. He wished them to be Saber or Archer, as he would be able to get rid of the most troublesome ones in one fell swoop. "I cannot wait to see what destiny has in store for me..... Even Berserker would be a pleasant surprise at this point." Of course, he was just joking in that last one. He wouldn't like it to be Berserker, not at all. Even more so since they probably were nothing but a mass of moving muscles with no brain. The sole idea was terrifying. He also hoped that his opponent wouldn't be a woman, it would become extremely troublesome for him to hurt them in any way.

“Ah, princess Akane, my sweet, sweet little angel, how you brighten up my day,” Louise said to herself as she listened to Akane introduce herself, the dark haired girl effectively sparkling in Louise’s momentarily distorted reality. She grinned roguishly to herself. She had missed the opportunity to blow up any skirts this morning with her custom magecraft and was feeling the almost overpowering urge to cause an accident. She resisted, barely, if only because of the seriousness of the current situation. Not the class of course, the War. Once it was her turn she turned toward the professor and grinned at him with obvious cheer. “Good morning exalted one!”

“My name is Louise Evangeline Kotomi. First year chemistry. From France. I transferred here earlier this year thanks to some political mumbo-jumbo pulled by my dad. As for my name, weird right? Well, as it turns out my dad is from Japan and my mom, well, mom is a lot of things,” Louise said, her cheerful demeanour slipping only momentarily with the mention of her mother. She hummed thoughtfully for a moment. “Why did I sign up for this class?” she mused aloud, knowing full well that certain members of the student population and teaching faculty were of the mystical persuasion and knew the true nature of this class. How serious it actually was to certain individuals. “I took this class this class because I was told to,” Louise said with complete, unemotional honesty. The unconcerned look on her face suggested that this was no great deal.

Once Louise was free to return she immediately headed straight for the Chemistry department. She was not worried about Archer per say, she would have known at once if something had happened to him through the link that they now shared, courtesy of their contract and the command seals that symbolised that pact. However she would not deny that she had spent a large part of the day wondering what exactly he had been up to. Researching the modern world, getting up to speed with current materials technology, maybe even researching the fate of the company that he himself had founded so many years ago. All reasonable considerations. She grinned roguishly to herself. Or perhaps he was indulging himself with some out of season ‘flower viewing' with those amazingly accurate eyes of his.

Gaining entry to the department was easy enough, even without her credentials. In place of her official key card she used a rectangle of ‘modified’ plastic and metal. Creating an exact copy of the card had been a difficult but rewarding experience. She had accomplished this by using the original key card as a template and had copied the cards physical and chemical make-up onto the blank card. Full transference of its chemical properties. The trick was easy enough in principle for a decent alchemist, though the alchemy circle had been a bitch to create. Once she got to the roof she summoned Archer to her side.

“How was the view!?” she called cheerfully, her meaning obvious from the look on her face. Joking aside her expression became more sombre and serious. “Are we ready?

Archer, Ukatan University
@Constantine

Looking hadn't yielded much luck in spite of Archer's vision, the campus just much too big to simply locate his master from. And Archer's mana detection still wasn't the best. But the Command Seals were a pull, and he had some fair idea of where she might be. Thus, he was quickly able to track her down, back on the roof where they had last seen each other. He really should have expected as much.

Approaching he returned to Material Form, fading into existence next to her as he scanned the horizon, just to make sure there weren't any Servants watching. Which wouldn't stop Caster, but he supposed it depended on that Servant's skill set and on whether they had Clairvoyancy. Even in his time there had been fools claiming they could do that, though one would have to assume that a Heroic Spirit actually could.

"Not as good as Europe," Archer replied with a smirk of his own, deliberately misinterpreting her statement before he settled down and became serious in turn. "As much as we can be with what we have. I'd either suggest visiting a gun store so I can expand my arsenal, or finding some place to get supplies beyond simple chemicals." He'd like to not get in a fight without being fully prepared, and they didn't have any tricks ready yet. And besides, adding to the amount of guns he could generate wouldn't hurt either.

Nidhogg, Utakan City, Shopping District -> Construction site

Nidhogg nodded as he pocketed the root, so the girl wasn't completely foolish. Still, her willingness to give him her name and class were a bit suspicious, but Nidhogg decided to just talk it over with Joren later, as he didn't particularly care at the moment. With his basic assessment, he could tell that she probably won't be of any trouble what so ever, no matter what class she is.

"Alright then, later." Nidhogg walked away, giving her a wave as he began to wander the city, looking for more servants.

-30 Minutes Later-

Nidhogg smiled as he approached the construction site, having felt the presence of a Servant while on his hunt. He could tell that this one was making an effort to announce his position, which could only mean one thing. Nidhogg licked his lips in anticipation, but he didn't move in yet. He had placed some roots in the area and had taken time to wait as they spread underneath the battlefield, making sure that they were deep enough that it wouldn't disturb the ground above.

Once he was sure that said roots were ready, he walked in to the arena, his eyes hungrily focused on his prey. His clothes began to shift as the roots he wore began to cover him entirely until he was underneath a mass of black tendrils. The tendrils soon drew back to reveal a figure glad in wooden armor, stylized after his true form and made completely out of his roots. The color of the tendrils was much darker, and lines of red energy was intermixed throughout, some forming into runes that spoke of death and despair to all who beheld them. He cracked his neck as he stared out from the holes of the helmet, his white eyes nearly glowing with the intensity of his bloodlust.

"Why hello, Appetizer-san, and good-bye."

And then he burst forward, using his Prana burst to launch him directly at his foe, his arm reared back and the tendrils forming into elongated spike around his arm. As soon as he was close enough, he would lash out with it, hoping to impale his opponent as he passed by him, as he had aimed his charge a little bit to the left of his foe. Whether his attack hit or not, he would turn around launch a barrage of large tendrils at him before he could recover, letting out a maddening laugh as he landed on one of the metal girder's that made up the infrastructure of the building.

Once he saw who came to their challenge against servants, Lancer couldn't help but be offended. He even clicked his tongue once he saw the Beast starting to form out of roots and whatnot. It was an insult, and nothing more. "Then again, this is just the will of the Gods." He said, as he easily avoided the first strike from the Beast. It was a simple minded fighting style, one that offended him. It didn't have any finesse neither did it pose any kind of threat to him. Even so, Lancer calmly saw the moves of the Beast. Once it came against him yet again and started with a flurry of attacks, Lancer avoided them again rather easily. Yeah, no kind of tactic against him was nothing short of an insult.

Even so, Lancer had a policy of never underestimating any opponent of his. He took a step back in between the flurry of attacks by the maddened Beast and used his naginata to stop one of its attacks. As expected, he was sent back by its tremendous force, but only slightly. Yes, he was stronger than him. But here was the reason why people were way over beasts. They had more brains. "Fine. I shall grace you with the possibility of fighting the great Lancer." He said, before dashing towards the beast and jumping over its head, and aiming to slash right through its neck with his naginata. Even if his attack wasn't succesful, he would still be behind the beast, and he wouldn't waste anytime in there and start running right away to the inside of the construction site.

"Follow me if you dare, Shòu!" Lancer shouted at it. Of course, a beast like that wouldn't be able to see what he was doing, as he started to freeze the pillars he ran next to. At the very least, Lancer hoped it was too stupid to even think that what he was doing was on purpose.

Nidhogg, Utakan City, Construction site

Status: Currently enjoying his appetizer

Nidhogg evaded the attack easily, bending over to watch Lancer go by. As Lancer began to run into the construction site, Nidhogg simply chuckled at the fool's presumptions. He knew a cage when he saw one, and the only thing a Beast is to do in a situation like this is to bust down the bars and devour the jailer. With that in mind, Nidhogg lifted himself into a standing position, sending out a signal to the roots underground as he did so. Bring it down.

Several tendrils burst out of the ground near the main support pillars, entertwining to make larger, more powerful ones, before smashing into them. It only took one swing from each to do the job, bringing the infrastructure down on his opponent in a heap of twisted metal. Before the dust had even begun to settle, the tendrils then began to converge on Lancer's position, unleashing an intense barrage of swiping attacks down on him.

While they did that, Nidhogg summoned an enterwined root to lift him high up above the carnage, forming a spear in his hand as he gazed at the wreckage with no small amount of self-satisfaction. Drawing his arm back, he threw the spear at Lancer, using Prana Burst to increase the accelration and piercing power of the construct. He would fire of 5 more such attacks, the last two, however, heading not towards Lancer, but at the hidden figure who was most likely his master, who he had located with his underground tendrils, using hair-thin strands to probe the surrounding area. Each spear would hit with the force of a missile, likely causing a large crater when they hit the ground.

Let's see how well my appetizer dances now that he's lost the advantage of terrain and has his master to protect.

Akane couldn't help but gaze adoringly at her Servant. He was so cool! She hadn't seen a full naginata being swung around like that before, and watching it in television and in video games was nothing like seeing it in real life. Lancer appeared more than ready to face anything that came his way. Even if she was a little anxious, she had to remain strong. Her fingers curled around her light jacket as she watched the first opponent arrive. What... was that? Was he really a Servant? He looked more like a demon or some summoned monster than a Caster or Berserker.

Either way, the two Servants spared no time to chat and instead launched themselves at each other. For a moment, she was sure that Lancer was going to get hit by one of the other male's attacks. Yet he dodged every single one of them, much to her surprise. Wow... that really is something. Akane thought, beginning to tremble with excitement once more. How someone could move that fast, she didn't know. All that she did know was that she was proud to have summoned such an agile Servant.

Lancer started to run towards the construction site, but the opponent tore it down with ease. Akane flinched slightly. Welp... there went their advantage. She didn't expect someone with that sort of power to arrive or be brash enough to tear down someone's work. No doubt that the people of the city were going to be suspicious now. Suddenly, the Servant launched spears at both Lancer and her, much to her surprise. Thankfully, she had been quick enough to jump away from the incoming objects, but not without skinning her knees. "Crap!" she spat, getting up from the ground and running for more cover. How had he known that she was there? Was it not that good of a hiding spot..?

"Okay Miyamoto-san, we're done for now! Thanks for modelling!" The teacher, a female teacher in her mid-thirties smiled at the naked man who returned it with the sereneness that he usually carried. It was then he finally noticed that many were staring at him in a way that most likely was not appropriate for a model. Oddly enough, it came from mostly the women including the teacher.

"It was my pleasure to help. Could you please hand me my clothes?" He turned to look over to Mary and chuckled. "Turn around young lady, you've seen more than enough already." Saber said with mere jest, taking the clothes that the teacher handed him and dressed back. This was greeted with many disappointed expressions of many of the ladies and some men that were in the room, pouting and sighing almost in unison. This he did not pay mind to as he turned his attention Jacob. "I'm terribly sorry for Charles' behavior. I never would've thought that he would act that way towards anyone. I shall go talk to him. Jane, Mary, stay here with Mister Milford."

Not waiting for an answer, Saber walked out of the room into the hallway with peeping female students of the school. Many of them flushed terribly and squeaked before they all dispersed like mice in front of cat. He paid no mind; his thoughts were focused on how despicable his master was towards Jacob for no reason. If this man was going to be his master then he would have to do better than acting like a god damn brat! It wasn't hard to find him. After all he was the source of his mana after all. As soon as he found him, he approached him from behind and snatched the camera out of his hands with blinding speed."Dorvain-sama, your attitude towards Mister Milford was atrocious. As my master, you must be polite and composed. A gentleman more or less, not a rapscallion."

"No need to apologize Jane," he responded with an sincere smile. "His words carry little to no substance that might offend me. Though often I wounder what he dislikes about me so." Jacob had wrote this off as a phase a few months ago, but now he couldn't help but wounder if there was more to it. His student had gifts and talents, not to mention the means to let the blossom into full beauty. With his family's money and Jane and Mary standing by his side he could really be something. But he resorted to hiding behind a camera. What was that boy thinking?

With great relief he watched the man get dressed. He was quite the odd fella. What kind of artist needed that much muscle? Perhaps a sculpture, or a muralist. Maybe he was a contemporary artist who worked with metal. Hearing him speak for the first time made him all the more odd. Polite and well spoken the man was a walking pinnacle of virtue. An executor from the church? That would be the day. "As I said, think nothing of it, but talking to him would likely be for the best."

After he left Jacob gestured the two ladies over to the corner of the room, with the hopes that they could talk in whispers to not be overheard by the others. "I don't have much time, but I have to ask. Has he been keeping up with his studies? Eating and sleeping well? I hope he hasn't been any more of a trial for you girls. I'm all for him expressing himself and taking his own path, but that doesn't mean he has to drag you through the mud as well."

Yeah, Lancer indeed didn't like having to face a senseless beast like that. It brought the whole construction down without even thinking about using it to its advantage. Any thinking person would've thought of using the structure to their advantage by making it fall over the other's head. Even if the opponent was a Servant and that made nothing more but scratch the others, it would still give the other one time to prepare for the fight that came afterwards. Lancer had a head start on the wooden dragon, not to mention too the fact that his plan was actually the same, so he was able to escape the building before it even began crumbling down.

As expected, the beast followed up its attacks, which Lancer avoided with relative ease. Yeah, even if it was quick, its movements were too predictable. Of course, he did not expect the last two headed for his master. Lancer jumped and put himself in front of his Master, blocking with all his might both attacks, even if they sent him back quite a bit. "My, you are such an stupidly big beast. I am guessing you are either a part of the Berserker class, or such a huge idiot in live that even as a Servant you are still as stupid as you were in life." Lancer said to the Beast in front of him. Yeah, he was starting to get tired of playing around in the defensive.

He lifted his naginata and put the staff against his face. "Then, how about we stop playing around now? It is my turn to make my move." He started gathering his strength, as well as his Master's prana. "Zhu, do take cover in another place where you are safer. Right now, this place is a battlefield against a Beast that isn't in its right mind. Another random attack like that wouldn't be surprising at any point." He said. He was now concentrated. His mind was calm, he was ready to strike.

With a dash that made it seem as if he disappeared, Lancer jumped and soon appeared in front of the opposing servant, the only thing visible through his helmets were his blue eyes and the blue trail that they left through the air as he moved around at such stunning speeds. He brought his naginata back with a single hand and then thrusted it forward, but of course, it would end there. He started going back and forward with his naginata at an incredible speed, such that it was almost impossible to follow the path of his strikes. "Become a pin cushion!" After several strikes like that that passed in nothing but a moment, he finally took his naginata back and spun it around in his left hand, before aiming to slice the Beast's chest, and then going back again to slash again at its chest and falling down to the ground, leaving a hole in where he landed just of his sheer strength.

Nidhogg, Utakan City, Former Construction Site

"Nimble little morsels, aren'tcha," Nidhogg observed from above, tendrils rising up to form a cocoon around him as Lancer attacked. His strikes pierced straight through the cocoon, and his first slash was unimpeded, but that was not the case for his second slash, in which the blade of naginata was halted mid-way through the attack, stopping his momentum and leaving him hanging in the air by the shaft of his weapon, which was firmly in the grasp of tendrils and wouldn't be easily removed. Before he could react, the main tendril reared back, before slamming into the ground, rising up only to do the same over and over again. If Lancer didn't let go of his weapon, he'd be in for a world of hurt, as the force this tendril was exerting was massive, easily crushing the steel girders as if it were made of paper.

If he did hang on through that, would whip into the ground with enough force to send him flying off of it(If he didn't hang on, then ignore the first half of this sentence), before slithering back into the ground, taking his Naginata with it. As it did this, a figure stepped out of it, the retreating roots parting around the nightmarish figure like water against a stone. Drawing on Prana from his master, Nidhogg decided to up his game a bit and stop playing with his meal. A couple of those strikes had nicked him as he escaped into the tendril, nothing serious but it did leave him rather annoyed. His eyes began to glow a baleful white as he became surrounded by a malicious aura of savage bloodlust so strong that it would awaken a primal fear from all who saw him. This was the Class skill of the Beast Class, Primeval Strength. He burst forward in a blur of motion, reaching Lancer's position in mere moments with his fist reared back, before lashing out with a devastating punch aimed at Lancer's chest, Nidhogg's already impressive strength being boosted immensely by Class Skill and Prana Burst. If taken directly, Lancer would be assuredly incapacitated, if not outright killed, and even an indirect blow would inflict serious injury. It would also send Lancer flying backwards into the wreckage of the construction site, further compounding the damage.

Nidhogg chuckled darkly as he summoned another mass of tendrils to writhe around him as he approached the servant.

"You're not the smartest servant are you Appetizer-San, attacking me like that. That seems like a sign of arrogance to me, wouldn't you say, Bite-size?" He said, addressing the girl who was obviously Lancer's master.

Charles, Utakan University, Art Wing

Status: Pissed off

Charles first impulse was to order Saber to give the camera back, but he held himself back. He wasn't going to waste a Command Seal on something like that. He took several deep breaths, before he finally stood up, giving Saber a cold look. "Miyamoto, let's take a moment to assess some facts. You are not my father, you are not in charge of me, I don't have to listen to you, and I'm the one paying for you to be here." His tone was as cold as his glare, if not colder.

"With that in mind, don't ever think you can tell me what to do. I don't care what you think of my behavior, I don't care if you like me, I only care about doing what I want to do. If I want to be rude to that ass, then I fucking will, and nothing anyone can say will make me do otherwise. So, please give me my camera, then go get Mary and Jane. After that, you can do whatever you want, understand?"

@hatakekuro

Jane sighed, she knew full well why Master Dorvain disliked but she refused to say it because of how childish a reason it was. All of this animosity, just because Charles was never able to beat the man. It's completely ludicrous, but what is one to do when faced with such a stubborn fool of a master. The more you push him, the deeper he digs his heels in.

Mary, however, was looking over to where Master Dorvain had stormed off. She didn't approve of his behavior either, but she knew that trying to talk to him while he was like this was likely to make things worse instead of better. When Master Miliford pulled them over to the corner to talk about Master Dorvain, both twins sighed thinking about the trials of being Master Dorvain's servants.

"His studies aren't a problem, he's very dilligent with his research time, especially when it comes to experiments," Mary began softly, but Jane cut in with her own complaints.

"But trying to get him to eat and sleep regularly is impossible, and then there dealing with his parent and marriage applicants. Given his life style, it's understandable why his family would want an heir sooner, rather than later, but Master Dorvain doesn't show interest in any of them. He just takes a few pictures, some small talk, then sends them on their way, and I'm the one who gets blamed for it. They're convinced that I've stolen his heart for whatever reason."

“Oh, I don’t know, the flowers that grow here have a certain charm to them,” Louise said with a wide cheerful grin as she walked up beside Archer and looked out over the area. She listened to him as he listed his concerns and nodded, pausing thoughtfully for a moment as she considered their options. “Well, that depends on what it is that you actually need. Chemicals I can synthesis in the labs without raising too many eyebrows. Metals, well, if it’s basic stuff, iron or steel, there are plenty of options that can provide us with material in fairly large quantities. Say, construction sites and abandoned factories? Heck, we could probably scourge up some mechanical components that might be of use to us. I have magecraft that can make them as good as new.”

As she spoke Louise walked over to a specific section of ledge and laid down on her chest so that she could reach down over the edge. After a moment of rooting around she found what she was looking for, her hands closing around a piece of solid, engraved wood. “I hate to break it to you but this country is not so hot when it comes to personal gun ownership. I don’t know if any the stores here would be able to supply anything beyond basic hunting weaponry,” Louise said as she found and released the straps that where holding the broom to the underside of the ledge. She got back to her feet with a satisfied look on her face, an old fashioned looking straw broom held firmly by the shaft. Along its surface ran a series of complicated and intricate engravings.

“Though with that said I’m not particularly well versed in firearms myself, so I dunno where else to look, sorry,” she said, dusting herself off. She then looked at Archer expectantly. “So, Mr Archer, what do you think we should do?”

Construction Site Ruins, Thursday

This battle didn't seem to going in their favor. The creature continued to block every blow that went its way, and yet, Lancer didn't falter the slightest bit. Once he had blocked the incoming spears that the monster had shot at her, he advised for her to hide in a safer place. Akane simply blinked in surprise. Didn't he want her to be close by so she could provide some help if he needed it? Then again... she should probably listen to him. He was more experienced when it came to battles and all. And yet, she couldn't help but feel a little useless. What if Lancer got seriously hurt, or worse?

Something told her that she was taking this a bit too seriously. Didn't Servants' lives revolve around fighting and fending off enemies? Akane watched Lancer for a moment more, hesitant, before turning tail and beginning to run to a safer area. Where could she hide? There wasn't much to hide in between or behind anymore. As her eyes quickly flicked over the area, she suddenly got an idea. Maybe she could hide above ground? There was a small shack nearby the destroyed construction site that had been spared from the roots' destruction. There was no way that he could grab her easily with a root or whatever if she wasn't on the ground, right? Right..?

Akane raced towards the shack, hearing the monster's words before he was too far away to listen to properly. Did he really plan on eating them if he defeated both of them? Well... she wasn't sure that neither her nor Lancer would taste that good. She leaped onto a garbage tank and jumped up, grabbing at the edge of the shack's tin roof as she pulled herself up to the flat surface. The dark-haired Master hid behind an external fan and pulled her satchel in front of her, opening it to look at the various sized jewels she had within the bag. She supposed she could throw one or two from up there if it came down to it.

Archer listened carefully as his master described what she could do for him. Chemicals and metals would be most of what they needed, so if Louise was confident that she could provide in the quantities needed, then he would have faith in her as well. Mines would be nice, though he didn't put too much hope into that sort of fight. Bombs would be more useful, especially if they could include gas. It was dirty, true, but it was the sort of tactics they would have to use if they were to win. "I'll make a list," he confirmed with a nod.

At her bad news though, he grinned whilst watching Louise retrieve a broom from some hidden spot. "Well, getting you a weapon to defend yourself would be nice, but we don't have to," he told her, his attitude undiminished. "But as for myself, I only need to see the gun in person to be able to replicate it. So we just have to find a store, then you stay outside and I'll go in, and the next thing you know we've got ourselves an arsenal of guns."

He shrugged then as he shifted on his feet. "So, unless you'd prefer to go see if we can spot any ongoing fights, maybe get some idea of the foes we've got to contend with, I would say we should do that," he concluded at last. She wanted his suggestion, and she had gotten it. But as the Master, she would have to be the one to decide what to do, within reason. Independent Action was a nice thing.

“Ah, Archer! Don’t be atypical man, never willing to take the lead!” Louise said with a cheerful laugh, deliberately ignoring mention of her acquiring a weapon to defend herself with. She was still not entirely comfortable with the idea of having to fight another human being. Self-defence was one thing but inflicting deliberate harm was another, though with that said she mentally conceded that should it come to it she might not have a choice. The other Masters might not give her a choice. And as her talents lay almost completely in nonaggressive forms of magecraft a weapon of some variety would be required. However the thought of guns gave her an idea. She turned toward Archer excitedly. “An arsenal indeed!”

She walked away, hurried retrieving her phone from her skirt pocket while rapidly inputting a series of commands to unlock the rarely used device. After a moment she found what she was looking for and turned back toward Archer and showed him the screen. On the screen there was the image of a chain fence with a no entry sign courtesy of the JDF. “If it’s an armoury that we need then why not aim a little higher, my ethereal friend,” Louise said some small degree of satisfaction. However if this idea proved too dangerous for Archer to go along with it also brought another straight to mind. “Or failing that the police must have at least one armoury within the city limits, right? Oh, I’m getting excited, it’s like a shopping trip with somebody else’s credit card! Lead the way!”

Before Charles could say or do anything else, Saber grabbed him by the cuff of his shirt and pinned him against a wall with one arm alone. "You insolent brat! Do you not even see the bigger picture bigger than your three by five camera?!" He hissed venomously at his master. He just couldn't believe how his master could be so selfish, so childish! If this boy wasn't his master then he would've killed him or at the very least beat him to the very last inch of his life for saying something so profoundly stupid. "Do you even have a grasp of your role? You are the master, you represent not only me, but Mary, Jane, and your family! Whenever you make a selfish choice then they are indirectly affected by you! If not for me then do it for Mary and Jane. They've dealt with your poor behavior for years and they've never left your side."

Saber released his grip on Charles and dropped him to the ground. "Now if you have any empathy towards those two, go swallow your foolish pride and apologize to Mister Milford in front of them. You maybe my master, but as a servant I have the responsibility of helping you mature. I hope you'll take this as a lesson." Saber turned on his heel and began to walk away. He then tossed the camera in his hand over his shoulder over towards Charles lap.

Archer, Chemistry Department Rooftop, Ukatan University
@Constantine

Archer watched with some interest as Louise retrieved a device and showed him a picture of a chain link fence. Well, that was interesting, especially for someone apparently averse to having some sort of personal defense weapon, if her silence was an indication. One had to wonder how she was fine with breaking and entering a military installation, but wasn't willing to use a gun herself. Very strange, to say the least.

"Alright then. Try and keep up Master," he replied with a wink before jumping off of the roof, using her Servant abilities to bound further and higher than any normal human would be able to. They'd just have to hope that no one was looking and noticed the two people on the horizon. Otherwise it would be a tad awkward.

At the same time, he just hoped she could keep up. If not, then he'd go back for her. Given that she produced a broom though, he was guessing she could fly. And with that in mind, he headed for the base she had pointed out, his eyesight making it all the easier as they went at a rapid pace.

Ukatan City

Construction Site

A kingly figure viewed the clash in the construction site through the eyes of another. His characteristic armor was not present, revealing his features and physique. He held a lean body type more inclined towards agility than force, but a distinct strength of form was present in his regal figure. Long, straight black hair rained down to the main' shoulders, contrasting the unnaturally pale face of the knight. His eyes were of a pitch black shade, appearing as if they were two ravenous voids. Dark circles shrouded his eyes, accentuating a feel of insanity that oddly melded with this kingly presence quite well. He was once more seated in his grand throne of emerald, contemplating this clash of servants with dead silence. The beast like man would appear to be a significant problem. One that the knight understood instinctively that he could not defeat in combat, even with his anti - dragon attribute and empowered physical capacities from his father's legendary holy sword. Truly a frightening creature in combat, but nothing more than a creature. A wild beast easily reigned in. And the knight held reigns capable of reeling in this filthy specimen. The beast had utilized the Prana burst skill, indicating lineage descending from phantasmal species, and his parameters were exceptional. His noble phantasm was yet to be revealed, but the roots were likely part of it. The Lancer appeared quite capable of combat, being obviously an Eastern hero of some renown. He could not match the monster in brute force, but was capable of compensating for raw power with technical prowess. A troublesome opponent for the knight should they match in combat, but of course combat was not the knight's affinity. What good was it to challenge others without exploiting their weaknesses, gleaning their insecurity through observation, and formulating the net with which to enclose helplessly these foes? To affront without manipulation was to merely indicate that one was simply a beast for combat, no different from the monstrous human battling Lancer.

"Do it. It is wiser to strike down the weaker quickly, as I am sure you understand that you cannot match a servant without utilizing your full capacity, which cannot be regained. No regular magus should be able to match you, and eliminating one servant from this war catalyzes our plans all the faster."

Hao acquiesced with a nod. His somber priestly vestments were concealed with a layer of silver armor enshrouded with thick black wisps of what appeared to be smoke. The armor was surprisingly light, and Hao merely adorned parts of it, leaving his joint areas free for unrestricted movement. The important aspect of the armor, the helmet, was placed over Hao's head. Any master that attempted to view Hao would only see a humanoid figure hidden under a blurring layer of smoke - like darkness, and any attempt to read his presence of glean his identity would fail unless the helmet was removed. With swiftness unnatural for a man, Hao slunk through the ravaged construction site towards Akane. He was wary to approach her from behind, and the armor would stifle his presence from her servant. Hao scrutinized her atop a rusted shack, and rapidly closed in on her location, his body perfectly calm and relaxed in preparation for this engagement. It would be better for the girl to have her head shattered in an instant, as the death would be painless, but Hao suspected that this would not be.

The beast grabbed his naginata, and, while it did put Lancer into quite a bind, he still had the fact that he was a good martial artist all by itself. Obviously, Lancer let go of his naginata. He wasn't really up for being struck like that more than once. He made backflips until he put quite some distance between him and the monster. He put up an stance for fighting but, of course, without his Noble Phantasm it would be quite a hard fight. Even so, it would be as easy as making it disappear and making it re-appear in his hands. And then again, that wouldn't be any fun. What the Beast didn't take into account was that Servants were intangible to begin with, and only given form by their Masters.

Lancer readied himself for the next attack from the Beast and braced himself for a full force attack. Yes, the Beast must've been offended by the last attack of his, even if it didn't show it in its initial expressions. And then, he felt a chill go down his spine. Yes, that was the most primitive emotion of humans and even if he had gone beyond humans, he still felt it. It was a fear that would've taken over any normal human, but his own skills left him able to keep his mind in his right place and still counterattack as necessary.

The Beast emerged from the ground and aimed a powerful punch against him. It seemed powerful just by the looks of it, and something that, despite his being a servant, would still cause a lot of damage. "Hmph. You are finally taking this a little more seriously. Let me show you the real difference between the two of us." Lancer jumped in the tiny moment between the action and the actual punch, above the Beast's arm, instead of dodging the attack as one would've thought better. High ranked agility was nothing to be underestimated. He landed on top of the thing's tendrils, and didn't waste any time standing there as he started running towards it's actual body.

"Little and arrogant Beast. You wish to face an actual legendary Knight with nothing but brutish strength. I hope you are prepared to pay for those sins!" Lancer said, before jumping towards the main body of the Beast, spinning around in the air and aiming to plant a kick right on its head. "A Beast cladded in a human's clothing is still nothing but a filthy Beast!" Lancer said, and regardless or not if his attack were effective, he spun around again by using the momentum from the kick and used the Beast's body to impulse himself on its body yet again to move towards his naginata and grab it. The tendril it was in would also be troublesome.... Maybe he should just freeze it, should he not be impeded by the Beast yet again. Even so, there was a... sense of urgeness that prompted him to rush to his Master's side, and even then, it would be a bad idea to just leave the Beast on its own.

Everything was as he thought. Pondering a moment he tried to find a way to help, but soon realized his hands were tied. In order to help anyone he had to get a better grip of his current situation. All he could do for now was let Jane and Mary do their job. It wasn't like he had any actual investment in the child, genetically speaking. Students need to learn to fall so they can pick themselves up. "Let him do as he pleases, within reason of course. If he thinks he is getting boxed in, he will instantly hate it and start putting up walls that I would rather we didn't have to take down. If he does anything stupid, call me." With that he turned to leave the room, but stopped short.

Charles was a Magus. Jacob found his subconsciousness yelling at him, telling him that this was all wrong. What are the chances? Would the Grail think him worthy? Would he heed the call? There were a lot of questions that had no answers, and Jacob worried about each of them. Standing at the door his mind raced over all of the possibilities. He had to find out, but he couldn't ask. A smart Master would tell his servant to investigate the matter, and a smart Master he was. But decided against it. "Otherwise I'll stop by the estate this weekend. It might be time we had a heart to heart. Cleared the air." This was something he had to do himself. If he turned into a monster here he would not be able to live with himself after the war was over. Charles was a friend, if he had to he would kill him, but what would become of his reputation.

Leaving the art room he caught a glimpse of Miyamoto disappearing around a corner, and Charles sitting on the ground again the wall with his camera in his lap. Jacob walked past him and into the lecture hall, not even making eye contact for a second. Anything he would say would come across the wrong way, even the wrong look could be trouble. Holding no desire to fan the flames he thought it best to let them die out and rekindle them at a later date.

The rest of the day went on without incident. For most of it he was tense, but not noticeably so. He had expected something to happen, for someone to break the rules about being seen in public. To his surprise the day went on like any other. Gathering his effects he started to head out for the night but stopped in the main office. No one paid him any mind as he walked straight through to a room in the back. No bigger than a broom closet, the room only had a single computer and a rather unique looking printer. Time to get to work. Assassin would need an ID card in order to wander the facilities. She would also need an ID period. "Assassin," he spoke to seemingly no one in particular, "can I borrow you for a second. I need your picture."
