So I'm feeling that once we get into the New World, and have our initial posts of discovery and whatnot, we should probably have a short timeskip. Basically just to break up the players into whatever groups or cliques they want to form, and let them set up footholds in the setting individually.


How did you know? Did you brain scan me? Scary...



Do to the sheet amount of people know right now that I cannot wait for everyone so don't be disappointed if you can't get a post in before I do.

Hmmm... if the system can regulate Momonga's mental state so he stays calm like the undead he is, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say the system can enforce status effects for being drunk, right?

That seemed to be post New Game only though. I'm sure it could emulate some effects though.

On the New World? Definitely. But I think that it would happen (intoxication) on the normal game as well... Many, many games have this system. Of giving a debuff or something related to alcohol ingestion.

Amswering your previous question just to give you some peace of mind. Kek.

Well, considering that everyone joined Apocalypse Now to commemorate in the guildhall I highly doubt that they'd be in the city now. The whole point was enjoying showing off their items, npcs and characters to the others who joined the guild until the end of the game after all.

P.s. No idea about what alliances we already have, but you can pretty much guess which characters will side with each other by reading their alignments in the sheets... Well, at least for the good guys. The evil side is a bit more chaotic.

Well, not everyone wants to talk. It isn't fun to be incessantly probed either, or to try and be guilt-tripped for not feeling like leaping in.

If you're looking for discussion about alignment, groups, interactions, and so on, I'd suggest page 2 of this thread.

Aw, no need to get on my case and play the victim. I didn't realize you were joking around is all. I'm not uncomfortable or anything else, just thought you were making a big deal out of nothing, which would have been mildly annoying if that was the case. Now I know. I'll even throw in something for you in my upcoming post by way of apology. How's that sound?

Not wanting to insert myself in this random fight or something but you do realize that your apology would be 500% more effective with the exclusion of the first sentence, right? It was seriously uncalled for.

Well, this conversation isn't very fun, is it? There was no ill intent on my part, just a bit of misunderstanding. I do apologize, having admitted my mistake, and am perfectly willing to drop it and offer some socializing in recompense. If you would rather not have a token of my sincerity, that's fine as well; I'm not interested in further arguing. To try and perpetuate this contention would only serve to worsen relations, after all.

I like how writers are showing the pre-New World game mechanics where they aren't inside their characters yet and are still detached as it would be in an actual MMO. Because then when they switch over to the New World, you will see the dramatic change in mannerisms and description.

Well, I'm starting in the New World. ;) I'm trying to be patient until the clock strikes twelve. Buuuuuut... Patience is relative. I've already drafted what my post will be as soon as Sapphire has sentience. And it's going to be totally-! Boring. Yep. That's Sapphire. Good times all around!

...Unless you wanted to put us somewhere odd doing something crazy. I'm entirely ready to pivot. Maybe Spring wanted to go monster hunting last-minute and doesn't even realize when it passes midnight.
