Did we decide upon who the UOU president was?

I'd rather it weren't Trask because I think that's a little too dystopic. Kelly is an option if we're dead set on there being some anti-mutant/metahuman agenda being pushed from within the government, but I think he serves that purpose equally well as a figurehead pressuring the government of the day from the outside.

We could just go the MCU route and make Matthew Ellis president. He's a bit of a clean slate/non-entity, but I think that can actually be more helpful than having an overly politically charged figure in the White House. It's a One Universe game, not necessarily an apocalyptic, "everything has to be edgier" Mark Millar re-imagining, after all.

I think someone more neutral at the start would be good. Then in game events can change the political landscape and gives y'all GMs some where to go story wise

What even is the public knowledge as far as mutants anyways? There haven't been any heroes, and they're not common so would a president even need to have an opinion on the off the bat? Could start off with Kelly and have him grow more anti-mutant as heroes come to rise.
