Magnus Bane

Magnus watched the girl drop the paramedic and reacted as quickly as a snake. He grabbed the paramedic and pulled him out of the ambulance. He snapped at the guy so he was looking at Magnus and went to work. He lightly pinched a nerve and the guy dropped unconscious. He then pulled out a small bottle filled with an odd fluid and got the guy to drink it. He then leaned down and whispered into his ears before picking him up and looking at the group. "I'll leave you two with the....quinton....This man will not remember this rather what I told him. For what it's worth...you did a good job of controlling your urge" with that he walked into the hospital and put the paramedic in a chair knowing he would wake up eventually.

He then strode through until he found Zoe. He raised a brow and looked at the kid with her. "A wayward witch child amongst the new puppies." his voice was barely above a whisper as he saw the humans and heard what they had said. He looked at Melissa and then Zoe. "I'll handle the staff if you can handle talking to the puppies" he looked back at the witch child.

"Hold on to that one. I don't think he could handle any more stress" He looked at the humans in the room. "I recommend staying with Zoe." he then turned ready to begin but waiting to hear what Zoe had to say.

Alexis Farreacher

Location: Klamath Falls Streets → Cedar Ash Inn
Interacting with: Callie Lenson, maybe@Caits

Luckily for Alexis it wasn’t particularly a cold night. But still, she wished she at least took her coat with her. Then again, the wisp didn’t look like it would actually wait. The moon spirit slowed down a little when Alexis was too far off. But it never stopped. While the thing flew out her window she swiftly grabbed a shirt and sweatpants to wear, along with her bag. So now she walked the streets of Klamath Falls. Even with the street lights on, Klamath did have its dark corners and alleyways. Places Alexis didn’t really want to be caught at night. In fact, the more she walked, the more she realized she probably shouldn’t be out so late. But with the wisp floating through the city, she could hardly just let it float around. The girl was determined.

But also a bit lonely. As always. The night enhanced the feel. With no lights burning in the houses and barely a car driving somewhere far off. She felt utterly alone in the world. It was these quiet nights that often let her mind wander. Ever since she learned about magic, people have taken even greater distances from her. Would she have more friends if she looked more normal?

“I guess I would at least have a friend.” She said out loud. Only realizing she did after she spoke. She sighed deeply but eventually gave in. “Guess I’ll be talking to myself.”

The wisp kept silent. Alexis didn’t know if it couldn’t talk or if it wouldn’t.
“Where you think you are leading us too?” she asked. Not expecting an answer. “Maybe some place like the tree in the forest.” That was an awesome moment. When she found the big but cut tree in the middle of the forest. At first, it didn’t look like much, but there was something there. Something she could use. “Or maybe someone like me?”

The question came sudden and out of nowhere. For the last year she never really thought about it. Someone being like her. “You think there could be people out there like me?” she asked the wisp. Who just merrily floated around. There had to be. Someone wrote the Grimoire, aside from her grandmother. The book contained too much. Or maybe her grandmother was just a very powerful witch? How could she know? She never talked with anyone about it. “Maybe they knew grandma? Maybe they could tell me about her!” Her excitement grew. Until she realized how happy she was becoming.

“Or maybe it’s just something stupid. Or nothing. You think it’s nothing?” she asked the wisp again. Only to shake her head. “Let’s just hope it’s something.”

After some walking in silence, she started recognizing the area. She was nearing the Cedar Ash Inn. She didn’t really mean to find it. She knew where it was. In fact, she thought the wisp was going to lead her to the silvery dot. Or the faint dim lights that it made. But no, it brought her to the Cedar Ash Inn. The only Wiccan shop she could find in the whole of Klamath Falls. Alexis often bought some supplies there. The wisp flew, with quite some speed, around the building, only to float back towards Alexis, expecting something. The girl just groaned and took a seat on a nearby bench on the other side.

On one hand, she discovered Cedar Ash Inn was some odd place but on the other hand, it wasn’t remotely what she wanted. Half-defeated she pulled up her Grimoire and pulled it open in the middle. As usual, it showed a page filled with text about a potion. Another remained blank: Moonligh Wisps of Dreams. She wrote on it, hoping the book judged her powerful enough. But it answered: The answers you seek lays in knowledge you would not understand. Be patient, our young heir. To Alexis, that didn’t offer many answers.

She kept the book open in front of her, trying to find a way to know what was happening in the house. The white light still shone from the wisp next to her. With a finger, she touched it. From such a light source you’d expect it felt warm. But the white light was chilling and cold. “You don’t look quite done…do you?” she mused to herself.

She wrote in the book again. But this time a pale magic spell to examine one place. Normally she wouldn’t have enough minerals with moonlight soaked into them to pull it off. But the wisp seemed to still have some reserve. That combined with the few minerals she kept in her bag she prepared her little ritual. The minerals rested on her book, while in her right hand she ‘held’ the floating wisp. Sucking out its power. For a second she felt it trying to escape her grasp. But the girl was trained. She tensed up her hand, caging the spirit. Breaking it apart. She channeled its energy through her into the spell. But at the same time she was taking apart the spirit piece by piece. The little wisp tried to fly loose from the forceful grasp. But it couldn’t. Eventually, its light dimmed and dimmed until there was nothing left. It was a forceful method of channeling, no doubt. But the book never discussed the ethics of tearing apart a construct of magic, as it called wisps and Alexis never really gave it any thoughts. She needed power and so far the book taught her just to take it, draw it or demand it.

The magical energies started to do their work as they flowed through Alexis. She closed her eyes, trying to sense the ever watching moon. From her, soft tendrils of magic emerged. In her mind, she imagined it like fine ropes of ivy crawling from the ground around the house towards it and, if allowed, into it.

Interacting with: @BlackPanther & @Vicier and any other at SLMC

The druid had been in the brewery for a while, not really doing much just look off into space, so it caught Samael off guard when he came to the bar and started to speak to him. The casual flirting was normal interaction between the two, whenever they do interact. His words had caused Samael to chuckle and smirk but offer no real response. When he mentioned the "puppies" that same ache he got earlier came back, so this told him the two situations where connected.

"I might just come get in on the...action" He said this as Magnus left.

When it got time for closing, soon after the druid had left, Samael locked up. He made sure all the doors where closed and locked, the money from the registered were collected and put in a safe space in Zoe's office that only she knew about it (because he did not have a key to her safe) and then he set the alarm. Once outside he could feel that spark even stronger.

The only thing he had left from San Francisco was his 1960 Challenger, it was a gift form his ex and now the only thing left of the man for all Samael knew. He followed his senses and they led him to the hospital, and boy was it madness. The energy in the air, whether it be form the cops or form the paramedics and medical professionals or just the over all chaotic air the resided in the building. When he wanted to find out what happened he blended in with the madness, letting the excitement take him, walking around and just observing, not trying to be sneaky, just unseen in plain sight until he wanted to be known. It is something most angels learn how to do, blend in to the crowd by just being there, its a skill that could save your life from hunters.

He saw Magnus and the girl with the paramedic and stifled a laugh, that would be fun to watch, then followed him inside. When he saw Zoe, a witch child, and Magnus he walked up to them and smiled.

"When you said puppies I did not know you meant actual "puppies"....Zoe, well should I say "Mama Zoe" HA! How you gonna handle the new litter?! What too soon? I mean this is funny.. you gotta look on the bright side, now you have a bigger pack." Samael said this while laughing, then at the end he flashed that signature smile and looked between Zoe and Magnus.

"Well all jokes aside, whatever you need I am here for you."

Cassandra

"...I don't know what to do...Everything is a mess..."

Cassie glanced about her, thinking of going to see if Syleste was still in an ambulance, frowning at the challenge the doors presented. No one was about to let her walk out those doors, not when she was one of those attacked, not when her father worked here. She had come in enough times to drop in a home cooked meal, to be recognized. And he was so proud of her, that she knew he'd have shown pictures of off her. The thought that her father would know she'd been attacked was distressing to her-she loved her father, but she knew that there would be fights about her going out after this, and she didn't want that. Pressing herself up against the wall as Zoe came storming in, trying to be unnoticed by the older woman, and seeming to have succeeded in being unnoticed.

She felt a little antsy, worried, a little anxious, and damn it, her hand was itching. She couldn't scratch it-she'd seen the mess that it had been, but itchiness didn't normally happen this quickly in the healing process. Was she allergic to the material of the bandages? Concerned, but not enough to go back to her room, not when she needed to make sure that her friends were okay. Syleste...she couldn't imagine what syleste must be feeling. What she must think...She swallowed, looking about her, grimacing. The thought that Zoe, who had been there...Cassie didn't want to think about that, when so much of it was confusing...might run into her father, might spill the beans, and then Cassie would be in trouble, not only for not calling for him, but for sneaking about. Pressing her uninjured hand against her stomach, a little woozy, Cassie closed her eyes.

Please, let Syleste be okay...let them all be okay...Miri...the boys... Yet another thought crossed her mind. Her father might have information on them, and she could at least know that they were okay. Steeling herself for what could be a fight, but wanting to put his mind at ease, Cassie began to search for her father, Zoe's voice coming to her.

"...and your daughter..? Xerxes, let me help her.”

A sudden anger ripped through Cassie. She had no right to tell her father anything, now her father was going to be in an even bigger mess, probably thinking that Cassie's injuries were worse then what they were. Drawing in a breath, Cassie stepped closer. "Dad? Dad, I'm fine...really...just a little mauled...You were right, I should have taken Chewbacca with me..." Yet the thought of the young dog in that camp site...he would have been killed. Sick to her stomach, Cassie looked to her father, desperately, and then closed the distance, hugging him tightly. She didn't want to fight, didn't want that. She just wanted him, wanting the security he offered. For so long it had just been them against the world...

"I love you Daddy...I'm sorry" She whispered, closing her eyes tightly against sudden tears pricking her eyes. She knew she could be a giant pain in the butt, and that she probably took a lot for granted, took her father for granted, and it was something she was going to change. "I'll be a better daughter, I promise..." She looked up, her eyes wide and swimming with tears.

Callie

"life is going to get complicated..."

Something caught Callie's attention, and she rose, going over to the window. Her eyes searched the night, the darkness a little uneering. Checking the stairs towards the room, Callie was satisfied that Abigale, and Remus would be alright, and safe, but she still took a handful of Mountain Ash, slipping it into a pocket before opening the door, studying the night. Her eyes were joined towards the moon, a slight haze seemed to appear over it and she blinked a moment. Once, twice, thrice. Her gaze was drawn to a bench, a little far away, where she was sure she was sensing some sort of magic. She gazed at her charm, but there was no reaction, yet there was something...

With a frown, Callie took out a sleepy time charm, just in case and invoking it. She started towards the magic, unsurpised to see that it was Alexis, a girl that frequanted her little store. she gave the girl a warm smile, well aware of the questionable ways the girl had, influenced by the book in her hands, and the heritage her Grandmother left her. This wasn't something to judge the girl on, Callie certainly had been tempted, like everyone was in one way or another, to quesntionable and even dark sources, but she was a white witch, yet she did know that some dark curses were only that for what was put into them. Earth charms made it easier to not be tempted by dark forces. The child didn't appear to have a guide, someone that could help teach and guide on the right path.

"Greetings, young one" She said, her tone warm and open as she addressed the young witch, "The night is cold, would you like to come in for a hot drink? You can stay the night if you wish, Alexis" She waved a hand back to her inn, and glancing about, she muttered a ley line charm, a ball of light appearing in her hand, to help guide the way. It hovered above them, light falling about them in a small circle. "Ido have something to talk with you about, little witch" She spoke pleasantly, not a hint of malice in her tone. She was actually worried the girl might be cold, and hyperthermia was not fun. She should have brought a warmth charm. She smiled kindly.

"You will find your magic detection spell won't go through, the mountain ash and my own spells protects the building from interferance"

Sebastian

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: Anyone at SLMC

Sebastian was faintly aware of the voices around him as he slipped in and out of consciousness. He occasionally felt someone touch one of his wounds, whether it be disinfecting it, bandaging it, or any other kind of medical attention. While it had been mostly a blur, Sebastian was fairly certain that he had sustained among the worst of the injuries. He could recall one or two maulings that had been more severe than his, particularly Gage's injuries, however it had all happened so fast and he was uncertain who was truly in danger.

A flash of fangs and claws haunted Sebastian's memories as he slowly emerged from the influence of the sedative, awakening to an empty room.

Bandages covered the majority of his torso, with stitches and bandages covering the majorities of the claw marks. A large bandage comprised of gauze and cotton was secured to his shoulder, hiding the large bite mark the wolf had left on his right shoulder. The long gash along his left leg had been stitched up completely, leaving Sebastian to question how long he had been asleep.

The boy forced himself to sit up, groaning in response to the stretching of his skin as he struggled to get off of the bed. After a short moment, he collapsed back onto the bed, unable to stand. The bite of the wolf had probably empowered his friends to fight off the pain and come further along in the recovery process than he had, leaving the Siren slightly weaker than the rest.

After recovering his strength, Sebastian forced himself to his feet, releasing a high pitched shriek as the pain overwhelmed him. The incisions all over his legs were far deeper than he had originally thought, making it look like he had run through a pack of weaponized leprechauns.

The shriek wasn't merely an outcry of pain, it was the infused with the voice of a Siren. It echoed through the walls and across the entire floor, shaking the glass around him, even cracking the screen of the machine that was hooked up to his heartbeat.

Sebastian would have berated himself for screaming in public, however he was disoriented from his loss of blood, and the safety of his friends was the only thing he could think about. Bursting out of his hospital room, he looked around wildly, leaning against the wall for support.

"Where are they?! Are they okay?" Sebastian briefly noted the feeling of an IV being torn from his arm as he tumbled into a chair in the hallway, shakily rising to his feet before continuing down the hall. He could hear multiple voices of shock, however he ignored them, making his way away from them and towards the sounds of pain and confusion. Before he could get to the room that his friends voices were in, an arm wrapped around his waist, gently pulling him into the orderly's body and removing the stability the wall provided.

"You need to calm down, sir. Your friends will be fine, but you're going to tear your stitch-" Before the orderly could finish, Sebastian reached up with his good arm and grabbed the back of the orderly's head, pulling it close to his ear.
"Let go of me."
His voice was powerful and commanding, fueled by panic and worry. The orderly was immediately overtaken by the Siren's voice, following his orders and releasing him. Sebastian slumped to the side and hit the wall, stumbling forward towards the doorway where his friends were.

Xerxes Arvanitis

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Cassandra Arvanitis (@Caits), Linus Teague-Winslet (@Oliver), Zoe Flores (@Vicier), Magnus Bane (@BlackPanther), Samael Douma (@Queentze), and Melissa McCall.

One moment he had been bored out of his skull, pleasantly taking on a right Twix stick to pass the time and the next...

Ambulances, at least four or five of them... all blaring their sirens and thrusting in groups of teenagers at a time.

Normally, Xerxes would have considered this sort of thing a normal "rush hour," however the knowledge that he allowed his daughter, Cassie, to go out on a camping trip with a bunch of friends that weekend... He felt his blood freezing over in ice. And as he rushed into the halls, watching as teenager after teenager got wheeled past him and into emergency rooms, he couldn't help the sense of dread that washed over him as he recognized familiar faces. The pink haired, blind girl... Miranda... there were the twin boys...

No...

There was a dull buzzing sound in his ears as he heard the paramedics hastily try to tell him what had happened and what he needed to pay attention to; who he needed to tend to first as the rest of the doctors were roused from their quiet night. Forest. Camping. Attack. Wolves?

"Cassie... where the hell is Cas-"

“I knew this wasn’t just a normal attack… It’s happening again, isn’t it..? They were bitten just like Scott was when he was their age…”

“Melissa relax; I’m going to take care of everything, but I need you both to help me."

Xerxes forced his attention on the two women that had apparently been having a conversation right next to him. Melissa, one of his nurses who's own son was an alpha of a different Werewolf pack, and Zoe... Klamath's Alpha and the owner of one of his more favorite watering holes in the small city.

Not a normal attack... happening again... bitten... The children had been attacked by Werewolves... No... No please God, no. Where was Cassandra? Where was his daughter?

“I need you both to help me get them into the one room; those who were bitten, they’re going to start healing soon, if not already, and that’s going to lead to questions… and not just from the rest of the staff... I need to be there to answer those questions… or else what happened tonight is going to be the least of our problems; and your daughter..? Xerxes, let me help her.”

Zoe's latter comment was directed towards him, specifically. The only reason he could hear it above the buzzing in his ear and the rhythmic throbbing in his head was because she was speaking about Cassie. Help her? Help her? God dammit! When was someone going to start answering questions? And where the hell did that little kid at her side come from?

Pausing a moment, Xerxes' eyes met with the small boy. He looked... unwell. Shaken wasn't exactly the right word, though if he had witnessed the Werewolf attack, anything was possible. But the nail biting, the shifty eyes, the shakes... the boy was clearly going through some sort of withdrawal. He could see it in his eyes. Fear. Something was going to happen. Epilepsy.

"Get him on the stretcher... there..." Xerxes said, taking command with a strong voice he didn't even know he was capable of during that exact moment. "Make sure he is comfortable. He's about to go into an epileptic fit. Keep him on his side in case of fluid buildup."

Pausing a moment to see the boy tended to, Xerxes gave his attention back to Zoe, his eyes wild with fright now that the most immediate concern had been taken care of. Cassandra. What of Cassandra?

"Dad? Dad, I'm fine...really...just a little mauled...You were right, I should have taken Chewbacca with me..."

As if on cue, Xerxes felt a pair of small arms wrapping around his broad middle, his daughter's head buried into his chest where he was sure it was a safe place to keep her from crying.

"I love you Daddy...I'm sorry. I'll be a better daughter, I promise..."

She was okay. By the Gods, she was okay! Xerxes instinctively wrapped his arms tightly around his daughter, holding her to him for all that he was worth and letting her head remain nestled on his chest and under his chin. He tilted his head down, kissing the crown of her head firmly, a sting of tears threatining the corners of his eyes. She was so pure... so innocent in all of this. What did Zoe mean by wanting to help her? She was fine! Perfectly... fine...

"Oh, sweetheart-"

"A wayward witch child amongst the new puppies. I'll handle the staff if you can handle talking to the puppies. Hold on to that one. I don't think he could handle any more stress. I recommend staying with Zoe."

"When you said puppies I did not know you meant actual "puppies"....Zoe, well should I say "Mama Zoe" HA! How you gonna handle the new litter?! What too soon? I mean this is funny.. you gotta look on the bright side, now you have a bigger pack. Well all jokes aside, whatever you need I am here for you."

Xerxes' head snapped up. More voices. An oriental male barking orders in his hospital about the boy he had someone tending to for an oncoming seizure. And then... why the hell was the second bartender of Mia and Pia's there? Granted he liked Samael enough - he was a decent bartender but... none of this was adding up.

Still holding on tight to Cassandra, Xerxes narrowed his eyes on the two intruding boys, his gaze hot as he peered at them over the tops of his glasses.

"I need you two out of the emergency hall. Now. You have no jurisdiction here. You may sit in the waiting room until the situation has been placed under control at which point I will send someone to inform you of any updates we might have." His eyes narrowed even more so on the oriental male. "Do not come into my hospital and tell me what to do, ever again. Now go!" His voice was low, gravely even, but just as threatening as any angered shout would be. He held both of their gazes for a moment longer, hammering in the point that he meant business before he turned his attention to Zoe - truly the only one he could count on at this point.

"What has happened?" He looked down to Cassandra and separated their bodies just enough so that he could look down and meet her gaze. "Are you alright?"

Quinton

"Its going to be a long night..."

@Vicier

A little relieved that the scene hadn't exploded into a mess of supernatural horror, Quinton allowed the teenagers in the ambulance to have a few moments. He turned away, glancing about, giving a nod to Zoe when she indicated for him to gather them up. No doubt she wished to talk to all the teens bitten. He didn't imagine that that would just be a simple [i]hey, you know that wolf? Well, its gonna make you all into werewolves. Oh, all except you sirens. You're immune. And the weredingo, of course. You can't be both.[i] He sighed, and shook his head. What a mess. This was going to be a long night, and he sent a thought to Abigale, knowing Callie would look after her. He just hoped that Remus wasn't tearing the place apart.

He closed his eyes, listening to the sounds around him. It looked like Zoe was already having a hard time. Was that...was that a Banshee, screaming? No...a Siren. Perfect. Quinton drew in a deep breath, deciding that the two teens had had enough time, turning to them. Imprinted teenagers, both who didn't seem to be particularly old in their were-abilities, in the middle of this mess. Even better. Teenagers were bad at the best of times, throw in being weres, and imprinting, and this was just going to be an even bigger mess. Hopefully, none of the other teens would imprint. Just yet. This would cause difficulties-the girl was a weredingo, far from her home-native to Australia, weredingos had a slightly different approach to pack, and to becoming weredingos. It was going to be a learning curve for all of them, but essentially, if the young wolf-pup joined the pack, then the weredingo would come along as well.

Quinton rubbed his temples, and sighed heavily. This utter choas was what it was going to be like when Abigale was older, he was sure of it. And he'd just given her a wolf-dog pup. He must be insane. "Alright you two, looks like we're about to have a meeting. Don't make me drag your butts into the hospital. There is a lot to discuss, and I have no more clothes to spare". Trying to make this monumental task easier on Zoe, Quinton would get these two in, and with some of the others, gathering whoever he could along the way. That was what he was here for. The fact that the pack was goign to expand in number so drastically on one night was enough of a problem. What the hell were they going to do on the next full moon?

"Hop to it. And don't give me any whining, I have a daughter, I know all the tricks" God, he hoped he knew all the tricks. Abigale was crafty, and Quinton was sure that she could get into a lot of trouble, especially now. [color=limegreen]"If you have any family, best call before they find out on the news and come here hysterically. Zoe already has enough to deal with, without throwing parents into the mix"{/color]

He turned, starting towards the hospital doors, already weary. He rolled his shoulders, making sure nothing had been seriously injuried in the attack that was still healing, or would hinder him if something else happened. Nothing. At least that was one good thing.

Linus Teague-Winslet

Location - Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: Zoe @Vicier, Xerxes @YoshiSkittlez,

Linus listened quietly to the ongoing conversation, continuing to nervously chew his nails as more people crowded around Zoe. Were all these people friends of hers? What were they all doing at the hospital? His mind was suddenly swarmed with question after question, and he was only brought back to reality when the doctor started looking him over. He stared back, finding himself suddenly tongue-tied, unable to say anything even if he had something to say. The next thing he knew, the doctor ordered him onto a stretcher. "...Make sure he is comfortable. He's about to go into an epileptic fit. Keep him on his side in case of fluid buildup."

Linus froze up as he was lifted out of Zoe's hold and placed on the stretcher. This wasn't good. Zoe, the girl who'd all but kidnapped him, seemed to know this doctor, but wasn't he still legally required to turn in runaway kids? Maybe Zoe could talk him out of it like she did with the guard. What were Zoe's motives, anyway? Maybe she just felt bad for him and wanted to bail him out of trouble, but then why did she demand that he stay by her side from now on?

He didn't really have time to think it over much. He felt terrible, and the doctor was probably right. Earlier it would have been easy to pass off his symptoms as nicotine withdrawal, but the incessant ringing in his ears had grown to a mechanical sounding roar and his anxiety had gotten a lot worse over the last few minutes. His wide brown eyes went vacant and he immediately tensed up, breathing in shallow gasps as his vision faded to black. He was quickly stricken by erratic convulsions that lasted for less than a minute. Seizures were usually quite fast, really. Even more serious ones. However, just as soon as this one stopped, he barely had time to open his eyes before he slipped back into an unresponsive state, going rigid once again.

Zoé Flores

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Xerxes Arvanitis (@YoshiSkittlez), Linus Teague-Winslet (@Oliver), Cassandra Arvanitis (@Caits), Magnus Bane (@BlackPanther), Samael Douma (@Queentze), Miranda Burke (@Damo021), and Melissa McCall.

He was staring at her… again… what the hell was with guys staring at her..? Though this time was different; this time the color was draining from his face… She could feel it; the stress, the worry, the slight anger in his silence- it hung in the air and clung to his very being making it more than clear to her that he hadn’t already heard the news of his daughter being a part of the attack. Whoops…

“..Xerxes-…”

Opening her mouth to speak; to question what was running through his mind, and to apologize for casually blurting out bad news the way that she had, Zoé was cut off, his voice strong… dominant… commanding as he began to bark out orders, taking command of a situation she hadn’t even been paying any attention to in the moment- the boy... it was faint, but she could smell it. It was there. The onset of something that was growing stronger with each moment that passed them by and stress wasn’t going to be helping him in any way…

Epilepsy; it was something that never ended well. She had seen it before, the effects… the seizures… it wasn’t a pretty sight, and not everyone understood. Tearing her attention away from Xerxes so that she could instead look at the boy in her arms, she shifted nervously over the spot, a flicker of both fear and worry dawning over her features as she adjusted her hold around him, keeping him pressed protectively and almost lovingly against her side.

“Get him on the stretcher… there...”

Hesitating a moment as Melissa moved forward with her arms outstretched, she shot the woman a warning glance, a soft though threatening growl emanating from somewhere deep within her chest as the nurse closed the gap between them, taking a hold of the boy before she began to ease her out of the alpha’s arms, causing for her to reluctantly let go and watch on as she did all that she could to help make him comfortable, and to remove the stolen scalpels from within the boy’s pockets.

“Make sure he is comfortable. He’s about to go into an epileptic fit. Keep him on his side in case of fluid build-up.”

Folding a single arm over the front of her chest, she lifted her free hand up, her finger resting lightly against her lower lip as she began to chew on the tip of her nail- this day was very quickly turning into the stuff of nightmares. How had she not seen it..? How had she not felt it..? She had enough of a feeling to at least try and prepare for what had happened to the teens, but the young boy in front of her..? She had been holding him close to her since she had arrived in the hospital, and yet, here she stood… helpless and unable to do a thing while Melissa took her place in caring for the boy.

The feeling of a gaze resting over her again caught her attention, causing her to tear her eyes from the boy so that they were instead once more met with that of Xerxes, his gaze questioning and very confused. She couldn’t blame him. He wanted answers; especially when those answers were going to tell him exactly what it was that happened to his daughter, and with the emergency ward as big of a mess as it was, and teenagers who had most likely been drinking the night away thanks to the lack of parental supervision, she was the only reliable source of information left, though before she could even think about where it was she should begin, the sound of a soft though shaky voice hit her ears, forcing her to watch on as the girl in question hurried to bury herself into her father’s chest.

“Dad? Dad, I’m fine… really… just a little mauled… You were right, I should have taken Chewbacca with me… I love you daddy… I’m sorry. I’ll be a better daughter, I promise…”

She could see it… the very moment that his daughter’s arms were wrapped around his body, Xerxes relaxed, relief seeming to flood over his features as she watched him pull Cassandra close against his body, his arms wrapping protectively around her; the very sight of the pair had a small smile playing over her lips. Family was a big thing… something you could always rely on; and the idea that even after something this bad the father and daughter duo were able to stay so close to one another… it had her heart swelling with a slight pride.

“Oh, sweetheart-“

“A wayward witch child amongst the new puppies. I’ll handle the staff if you can handle talking to the puppies. Hold onto that one. I don’t think he could handle any more stress. I recommend staying with Zoé.”

That voice. She knew that voice; exceedingly well. It seemed that Magnus had now finished with his interference with the commotion outside, and was now looking to see where else he could stick his nose. As if the situation wasn’t stressful enough, she wasn’t in the mood for his quick jibes or his cryptic nature… it didn’t matter that he was her pack’s emissary, she would show no hesitation or second thought in sending him away if the situation continued to deteriorate the way that it seemed to ever increasingly be doing.

“..watch your tongue, Magnu-…”

“When you said puppies, I did not know you meant actual ‘puppies’… Zoé, well should I say ‘Mama Zoé’. Ha! How you gonna handle the new litter?! What, too soon? I mean, this is funny… you gotta look on the bright side, now you have a bigger pack.”

The anger that had slowly been building up under the surface finally hit breaking point, and the once beautiful dark eyes (still locked with Xerxes’) now shone a brilliant red in color making it clear as day to everyone around her. She was pissed… and Samael had just pushed her off the edge. Shooting her hand out towards the bartender, she grabbed a hold of the front of his shirt, her claws digging in and tearing at the fabric slightly as she roughly pulled him down to eye level, her brightly glowing red orbs meeting with his, and her fangs showing from beneath her lips as she snarled out in disapproval.

“Well all jokes aside, whatever you need, I am here for yo-…”

“Keys.” Though it was a single word, she wasn’t playing around, her voice deep… dangerous as she held his gaze, cutting him off before he could even think about trying to back talk his way out of the trouble he had just created for himself by pushing her too far, “Give me the keys to the parlor now… and when you get into work tomorrow..? You’re on cleaning duty; so don’t even think about heading to the bar.”

Not even bothering to wait for a reply, she tore her gaze away from his, her attention now coming to a rest on the Druid who had also had a hand in helping her patience reach its tipping point, her bright eyes baring into his as she raised her free hand, her clawed finger pointed directly at his chest in a rather threatening manner, “And you… you want to help..? You’re going to take Samael, and your both going to sit patiently on your asses in the waiting room, and you are going to do that until that young boy has been given the all clear to leave this hospital… Once you have been told that he can leave; both of you are going to drive him to the bed and breakfast, and you are going to give him to Callie so that she can look after him and keep him out of trouble. Now…”

Snarling slightly, she let her gaze flick back and forth between them, her canines barred in a show of asserting her dominance and authority above the both of them, “..do you think you two can handle that simple task, or is it going to be too hard for you to stay out of damn trouble.”

“I need you two out of the emergency hall. Now. You have no jurisdiction here. You may sit in the waiting room until the situation has been placed under control, at which point I will send someone to inform you of any updates we might have. Do not come into my hospital and tell me what to do, ever again. Now go!”

Waiting until she was sure that Xerxes had finished his little tirade on the two she herself had just had a go at, Zoé released her hold on Samael, the alpha shooting the both of them one last warning gaze before her full attention was once more on the duo before her; the worried father returning as he did what he could to look her over, trying his best to figure out whether or not she was okay, and just what Zoé had meant earlier when she had asked him to let her help.

It was going to be confusing… Xerxes himself was still new when it came to his knowledge of wolves, and the fact that he was now going to be raising one of his own… She had a lot of explaining to do all round; and for the love of God, she didn’t even want to think about what the next full moon was going to bring for them all…

“Let go of me.”

Her attention was suddenly pulled to the side as the sound of a sudden shout filled the air, the dulcet tones unmistakable as her eyes fell upon the young siren slowly (but surely) making his way to the room she could hear the voices of two of the teenagers. Finally… even though he was on the verge of ripping his stitches back open, someone was finally making her life easier by doing what she needed him to do.

Sighing softly, and hating the choice she had just made, Zoé turned back to the father and daughter still sharing the loving moment with one another, her hand reaching out to rest over Cassandra’s shoulder a moment before she pulled her away from her father, turning her around so that she was able to see the boy slowly and painfully making his way down the hall, “You can both kill me later for that, but right now, I need you to help me out. Cassandra, your friend over there, the one shouting out at the top of his lungs; I need you to help him into that room there… the one with Aron and Cody in it. Once you’re there, just sit down and relax, your dad and I will be in there in a moment with the rest of your friends.”

Giving her an encouraging push towards her friend, she waited a moment, watching on briefly before she turned her attention back over to Xerxes, her gaze (apologetic) meeting with his own and holding it as she took charge of the situation, once more making it clear that she was going to need help, and just what it was that she needed help with, “Xerxes… I will answer any and all questions you have; but right now, we need to get them all in the same room so I can talk to them all, and so I can explain to them what’s actually happening… I’m going to go this way, you go that way; when you come across one of the teens, take them into that room, and I’ll meet you there.”

Making sure first that he had fully understood just what she had asked of him, Zoé turned, making her way down the path she had pointed out for herself as she began to search for any of the teens that were missing from the group. Aron, Cody, the siren, Cassandra… they were all there, but there were still five missing from the group. Quinton had two of them; but that still left three unaccounted for.

Could this night get any worse..?

Slipping her hand into the front pocket of her jeans, she pulled out her mobile, her thumb brushing over the screen, typing in her pass-code and unlocking the screen before she pulled up her messages, her hands coming together in front of her and her eyes trained on the screen as she began to type away:

“Alder; wanna get in a few hours tonight..? I’ll pay you double the normal rate, and you’ll get tips on top of that. Also, it’ll give us a chance to talk about tomorrow… there’s been a sudden change in the schedule… Meet you at the parlor in about an hour… maybe an hour and a half.

Zoé.”

That was when she heard it. Lifting her head up after hitting the send button, Zoé trained her ears on the sound of a ventilator beeping close by, her thumb moving up to lock her phone before she once more slid it back into her pocket, her feet picking up their pace as she made her way down the hall and into a room just a little further away, her eyes flicking about the room until they came to a rest on a familiar figure laying on the stretcher.

Miranda Burke.

Sleeping..? Maybe. Having trouble breathing..? Yes; though it had nothing to do with the attack they had just been through. She could see it; the girl’s wounds were already healing… no, what she was going through was nothing more than a panic attack, brought on by the stress of the situation, and by not knowing whether or not her friends were alright. She would soon fix that.

Moving silently though the room, she removed the breathing mask and flicked the breaks off the wheels, her hands lifting up to rest on the end of the stretcher so that she could begin to move it, twisting it around before she began to push it out the room and back the way she had come, not bothering to care if anyone saw her as she passed them by- she was in no mood. She had made that perfectly clear; and right now..?

Right now she had a job to do.

Cody

"Finally...he's okay...we're okay...right?"

Aron, @BlackPanther Sebastian, @December

True to the paramedic's, or hospital staffs word, Cody was being placed in the same room as Aron. Relief at that, that he'd know if Aron was alright, was enough to keep Cody calm even as they wheeled him in. His injuries were hardly noticed, aside from a slight stinging and tingling sensation, sometimes a burning that he didn't really focus on, and all he cared about was knowing if Aron, and their friends were alright. Pushing himself up on the bed, the absense of pain in his leg a mild curiosity-maybe he was just getting use to the pain-he looked for Aron even as they placed his bed, securing it with the breaks. Seeing Aron was an absolute relief, knocking him flat on his back and leaving him a little weak, his heart a steady thump in his chest, and for a brief moment everything felt right in the world.

It didn't matter that they had just been mauled, badly, by a wolf, that they had injuries that no doubt was going to take a long time to heal, that they were stuck in the hospital after what should be a memorable day. It just didn't matter, as long as they were together. A breath he didn't know he had been holding escaped him in a soft, slow sigh, rolling out his chest like a wave coming to gently burch on the shore. Everything was okay. He had Aron. Not even waiting for the hospital staff to be gone from the door, Cody swung himself off the bed, wanting more then anything to simply be touching Aron, the space between them such a large distance.

In the space of what seemed like minutes, but was really days, Aron had become Cody's whole world. He would do anything for Aron, anything at all, and the frustration that he couldn't get both Aron and Gage out of the house they had to live in shamed Cody, but he knew he would never stop trying until he had succeed in getting them both out. A distressed sound escaped Cody as he took in Aron's injuries, wanting to soothe them away, and wishing he had been able to do something other then get his ass handed to him by a big, menacing wolf. "Aron? Are you okay?" For a moment Cody's steps were hesitant, waiting for the pain he was sure must come from his possibly broken leg, but none did. Not even a twinge. Adrenaline, maybe?

He reached out to gently touch Aron, wanting to climb in next to him, but unsure, not wanting to cause Aron any pain. "I'm sorry, I tried to distract the wolf..." There were many things Cody would regret, and that was one of them. At the sound of a commotion, someone yelling...no, not someone. Sebastian? It certainly sounded like him, Cody tensed, turning towards the door, he shifted ever so slightly, so he was between the door, and Aron, not caring that he was injuried, just knowing if something bad came through those doors, he was going to do something about it. Or die trying.

He'd probably die.

Yet as long as it meant Aron was safe, Cody would gladly do it.

Cassandra

"But...I want to stay..."

As her fathers arms wrapped around her, Cassandra decided that right there, as he held her close, was the best place on earth. No one could ever come close to how secure he made her feel, how loved. Yes, she would be a better daughter. She could give her father that. Holding herself into his warmth, Cassie staved off the tears she knew would have otherwise fell, yet as he kissed her atop the head Cassie's resolve nearly weakned, and the tears nearly fell. She drew in a ragged breath, and let it out again, hugging her father all the tighter. As his demanour shifted slightly, to that of Doctor, Cassie couldn't help the smile that flickered across her face. If he was yelling at others, then he wouldn't be yelling at her. Nestled safetly in his arms, Cassie didn't want to go anywhere. The added benefit of him reaming out what was possibly annoying and intruding people was something Cassie didn't often get to see.

It made her proud that her father could help so many people, and did, while caring about their well-being and making sure there wasn't chaos. As he turned his attention back to her, Cassie met his gaze, and knew she couldn't lie. "There was a wolf...it attacked us...everything else...doesn't make sense, but I didn't hit my head, Daddy, I swear. It...it attacked, bitting me and...I'm okay Daddy...I hardly hurt at all anymore...maybe it wasn't that bad" She was trying to convince herself, more then him She thought. But she really did feel better.

As Zoé laid a hand on her shoulder, and pulled her away, Cassie let out a pitiful whine, trying to reach back towards her father, not wanting to be seperated from him now. "Daddy...!" Her hands fell to her side, tears welling once more, bowing her head before one escaped. She swallowed painfully around a lump in her throat, risking a glance towards Zoé. She nodded reluctantly, glancing over towards Sebastian. She looked back towards her father, feeling at a loss all of a sudden, wishing he would say something, do something, to override Zoé, but she didn't want to see, starting over to Sebastian.

"Sebbie, let me help" Sebastian appeared to have been attacked quite severly, and she manouvered her uninjured shoulder under Sebastian's arm, gently helping to support his weight, keeping her hand out of the weigh, the stark white bandages almost an insult to her. Not in the mood for the hospital staff interving, Cassie glanced about, knowing she'd use her fathers influence to keep them away. She wasn't adverse to that. Not after everything. She could hear Cody's voice in the room, and a small slice of worry fell away. Cody was okay. Sebastian was okay. Two down...She glanced about for Miri, or Syleste even as she help Sebastian to the door.

Xerxes Arvanitis

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Cassandra Arvanitis (@Caits), Linus Teague-Winslet (@Oliver), Zoe Flores and Syleste Vos (@Vicier), and Melissa McCall.

She was there, safe and warm in his arms, and then she was gone - drawn away by Zoe's careful hand. His soft brown eyes looked to her, a flash of hurt crossing over them for a small moment. Why? He had just undergone the most terrifying moment of his life - the moment he wasn't sure whether or not his daughter was alive - and she was pulling them apart? Cassandra was just getting into what had happened - that bit closer for him to know that she hadn't been bitten. Oh Gods, please let her not have been bitten. That was why she wasn't in a stretcher like the others, right? She had played it smart - hid somehow... maybe tripped over a log and hurt her hand... He refused to listen to what his heightened senses were starting to tell him.

“You can both kill me later for that, but right now, I need you to help me out. Cassandra, your friend over there, the one shouting out at the top of his lungs; I need you to help him into that room there… the one with Aron and Cody in it. Once you’re there, just sit down and relax, your dad and I will be in there in a moment with the rest of your friends.”

She was taking control, though not over his domain like the Druid had, but of the situation that she knew better than anyone else in that room. Ever since she had approached him when he had moved himself and Cassandra to Klamath Falls, Xerxes had formed a bond of respect for the woman. Keeping Klamath Falls safe, looking after an entire pack, running a successful restaurant... Despite not knowing (or refusing to connect the ties that pointed straight to what had happened), the series of events that led up to this situation, he found that not only did he respect the Alpha, but he trusted her too.

“Xerxes… I will answer any and all questions you have; but right now, we need to get them all in the same room so I can talk to them all, and so I can explain to them what’s actually happening… I’m going to go this way, you go that way; when you come across one of the teens, take them into that room, and I’ll meet you there.”

Xerxes tore his somber gaze from Zoe to look to his daughter, seeing it clear in her eyes that she didn't want to leave either. But she was strong, and knew what she had to do. He watched quietly as she went to go and help a boy - Sebastian, and couldn't help but to feel a swell of pride rising in his chest. That was his daughter. Strong. And always caring for others.

"Tend to the boy." Xerxes told Melissa, watching briefly as the small child began to seize up. He was in capable hands. He wouldn't have trusted him to anyone else right now, given the situation.

Sighing and taking a moment to run his fingers through his greying hair, Xerxes headed off in the direction that Zoe had instructed him to go. He wasn't even sure what he was looking for anymore. He only knew some of Cassandra's friends-

Oh...

"Syleste?" The bright pink hair was unmistakable against the white sheets of the hospital bed she had been put on. He rapped his knuckles on the open door a few times, letting her know that he was coming in. "Syleste, it's Doctor Arvanitis." He paused for a moment for his voice to settle into her mind, hoping that the familiarity could help calm the obviously rattled young woman. He was just glad that his daughter and Syleste spent enough time together that she would know who he was.

Silently, Xerxes crossed the room and sat on the edge of her bed, clearing his throat to give the blind girl an idea as to where he was if his weight sinking down onto the bed wasn't enough.

"Syleste, you are going to be just fine. And your friends, my Cassie, are all okay. But I need you to relax for a minute, alright? I'm going to take just a few minutes and check you over, and then I can take you to Gage. Sound good?"

He waited for acknowledgement before he stood back up. Donning the rubber gloves, Xerxes spent the next few minutes checking her body over. The most severe, by far, was the puncture wounds on her shoulder. The skin around the wounds was already dead and decaying and the blood coming from them needed to be stopped. After bandaging the wound to the best of his ability for the time being, and then addressing the wounds on her side, he gave her a quick shot of penicillin. There was much more that he needed to do, sure. But for now, it would have to do. At least until Zoe was able to explain just what the hell was going on to everyone.

He could really use that left Twix stick right about now.

And a beer... or five...

Kaylee Jade Evans

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Connor Vos and Quinton Matson (@Caits).

The sudden embrace… the warmth of his arms… it was more than enough for the tears that were already rolling down her cheeks to double in number, and for her normal steady heart to skip a beat within the confines of her rib cage as she felt him pulling her closer, her lithe figure held fast against his own in the moment of just pure bliss.

This was it… it had really happened…

Imprinting was something she had only ever heard of; something she had never actually seen happen before… and it was something she was sure was never going to ever happen to her in her life time. It wasn’t as though it was an easy feat… with over several billion people in the world, finding the single person that you were destined to spend the rest of your life with; the person who you were fated to mate with… it was hard- impossible almost. And yet, here she was… held in the arms of the guy she never wanted to be parted from ever again.

Within an instant, he had become the center of her world; her anchor. He was the one who kept her sane and grounded… even through the heavy influence of the full moon hanging above them. She had been out of control; ready to take a life, and to defy the older wolf that had been doing all within his power to talk her down, but one look… one look into his eyes…

..she didn’t even know his name…

Lifting her head up as she felt his finger gently brushing against her cheek, Kaylee let her eyes meet with his, her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly from one another before they were occupied; the sudden warmth of his lips against her own causing her heart to race, and her eyes to flutter to a close as she let herself get lost within the moment, her arms tightening their hold around the back of his neck as she pressed herself closer against his body, doing everything that she could to not only return all that he was giving to her, but to also give him everything that she had on top of that.

She loved him… she couldn’t deny that anymore. It was fate; destiny… he was her true mate, and no matter how much she had tried to ignore it, she knew it was true. Breaking a single arm from around the back of his neck, she slid it closer, her palm seeming to mold to the natural curve of his neck as she pressed her lips harder against his own, never wanting the moment to come to an end; though just as they were destined to be a pair, so was the moment to come to an end…

Biting down softly upon her lower lip as she felt him pull away from her, she paused, doing what she could to calm her breathing before she opened her eyes, lifting them to once more meet with his as she took the time to just see him… by God, he was perfect… everything she could have hoped for and more; and there was nothing- no force alive that was going to pull her from his side… not now that she had him… there was no way she could ever let him go…

“It’s Connor, by the way.”

She couldn’t help the way her lips turned up in a gentle smile, or the soft chuckle that fell through them as finally, he gave her his name. It seemed so insignificant a detail compared to everything else that had happened to the both of them… so trivial… but it was also something that meant the world to her; to know something about him… to know anything about him…

“..Kaylee… my name is Kaylee…”

Her eyes flicked back down to his lips; so warm… so soft… so addicting. Was she ever going to be able to get enough of them..? And his eyes… they were so beautiful; if she wasn’t careful, she was going to get lost in them, not that she even cared anymore. He was her everything… the only reason she was living anymore…

“Alright you two, looks like we’re about to have a meeting. Don’t make me drag your butts into the hospital. There is a lot to discuss, and I have no more clothes to spare.”

Reluctantly tearing her gaze away from Connor, she let her attention fall onto the other man in the ambulance with them, confusion seeming to flicker across her features for a few moments before a dawning began to show- that’s right… there were others; her friends… they were hurt… the attack…

Pulling away from him, Kaylee lightly nodded her head in understanding, holding off from touching Connor again until he was completely dressed before she was once more at his side, her hand reaching out to take a hold of his, entwining their fingers together before she turned her attention back over to the wolf standing before them. Tonight had been nothing more than a pure nightmare; and it seemed that it was far from being over… she just hoped that her friends-… she just hoped they were doing okay…

“Hop to it. And don’t give me any whining, I have a daughter, I know all the tricks. If you have any family, best call before they find out on the news and come here hysterically. Zoe already has enough to deal with, without throwing parents into the mix.”

Parents… family… Oh shit; Hunter. Scrunching up her face as the thought of her brother came into her mind, she sighed, the frustrated sound filling the air around her as she slipped her hand forward and into the pocket of the hoodie covering her otherwise naked body, pulling her phone out so that she could shoot him a message. The wolf was right; it was better that Hunter found out what happened through her, than receiving a call from the hospital later on. It was like ripping off a band aid; the quicker you did it, the better it was gunna be.

God, she hoped she was right about this…

Magnus&Twins

Magnus ignored the human his attention instead on Zoe. He had his hand in his pocket when Samuel walked in and he looked over at him and chuckled before shaking his head. Then Zoe threatened him. Threatened. His eyes narrowed. "I am your emissary I am not a puppy nor will I be threatened. All you had to say was don't" a rather ornate bottle was pressed into her hand. "Since you can handle the staff if you need this...a small amount aimed at the fa-"

He turned as a staff member in surgical hear rushed out. The one we're doing surgery on....his wounds...T-They are disappearing Magnus glanced over at Zoe before grabbing in his pocket for a pouch. He turned and as he did a cloud of powder went to the guys face. The staff member blinked then looked dazed before Magnus stepped forward and whispered in their ear. The staff memeber nodded and walked away. Magnus looked back at Zoe. "I am here to help you. Now I will leave but if you need me to deal with the ones in surgery who are clearly going to be confused...you know how to reach me" he turned and walked away. He knew he was a load to deal with, but he did not like being threatened.

Gage had been put under, but was now waking up. He blinked as he watched the staff rush around. They seemed confused and he sat up. They all froze as he took deep breaths. "What....what happened" he looked over himself and he previously torn up leg was healing. He blinked and then someone screamed.

As one of the staff rushed out he realized the screaming was coming from him. He was terrified. What was happening....was he still asleep. Please please still be asleep.

Aron had been sedated in order to move him into the room. Groggy he slowly woke up a groan rattling out of him as he lightly touched his head. Aron looked up on time to see Cody and a bright smile enveloped his face. He reached out and found Cody's hand.

"Compared to most others I'm perfectly fine." he had bandages covering most of the wounds but the painful bruises on his face and around the bandaging were still visible. The gouge that was on his head was closed now and Aron thought it was because of super glue that they may have used. He had no idea.

he tilted his head when Cody sounded sad. "That was a wolf...and don't be sorry. We're alive and that's what matters" then he heard the scream. It sounded like Gage. He was sitting up now concern darting through his facial features.

Linus Teague-Winslet

Location - Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: No one at the moment.

Linus eventually pulled out of his repeated seizures, gasping for air like a fish out of the water. He was used to seizures by now, but he couldn't remember why he was in the hospital and felt himself start to panic. If he'd been brought to the hospital from the streets, the doctors would report him to the cops and send him to Juvy for sure. It was probably too late already.

He bolted upright, raking his hands through his hair and hyperventilating. He immediately felt sick, but he didn't let himself lie back down. His memories were starting to swim back into his stream of consciousness. He was still really confused about... just about everything that had happened, but he no longer felt the need to run away. He supposed he'd just get caught by Zoe again or something. He was still confused about what these people wanted with him.

Linus rolled over onto his side on the stretcher, clutching his chest and groaning miserably. He felt terrible and really needed a smoke. He looked around to see if he could spot Zoe, but there were so many people in the hospital by now that he couldn't see her. Ge climbed off the stretcher, staggering off into the hallway. He needed a glass of water, and didn't want to ask one of the doctors and risk ending up incarcerated by the cops.

Syleste Astrea (Vos) Nioré

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Gage Brooks (@BlackPanther), Xerxes Arvanitis (@YoshiSkittlez), and anyone else who can hear her.

“Syleste!”

The sound of a familiar voice- of his voice calling out her name caused her to quickly snap her head around, her long and wavy bubblegum hair flying wildly as she once more began to struggle against the hands that were trying to hold her down, everything in her heart telling her that she had to get to him, that she had to be with him; to make sure that he was okay.

“Gage..!”

Her voice was loud as she called out to him… louder and stronger than it had ever been before in her life; the very sound of it causing the windows of the room she was in to rattle violently in their frames while those who were trying to tend to her fell back quickly, each hurrying to cover their ears as the sound of the young girl’s voice reverberated off the walls, filling the halls of the hospital and causing each of them to struggle as the piercing sound hit at their very cores.

“Where is he..? Where’s my Gage..? Nghnn..!” Scrunching up her face and wincing as a sharp pain shot through her shoulder, Syleste dropped her head, her body tensing and not seeming to help at all as she tried to ride it through- she could do this… she had to… Gage needed her, and she needed him; but first she had to find him again…

“Syleste?”

The sound of another’s voice, a familiar one at that, calling out her name caused her to lift her head up, her soft pink lips parting ever so slightly from one another as she looked over in the direction she could hear his voice coming from; the gentle rapping of his knuckles against the door frame helping her to pick his location easier as he entered the room to join her.

“Syleste, it’s Doctor Arvanitis.”

“D-Dr. Arvanitis..?” Jumping slightly as the sound of someone clearing their throat close to her, Syleste shifted her body over the bed and under the covers, moving herself further back so that she was sitting up a little straighter causing another stab of pain to shoot through her figure as she did what she could to make room for him, “A-Are they okay..? Where’s Gage..? C-Cassie..? Do you know..?”

“Syleste, you are going to be just fine. And your friends, my Cassie, are all okay. But I need you to relax for a minute, alright? I’m going to take just a few minutes and check you over, and then I can take you to Gage. Sound good?”

Gage… he was going to take her to Gage, but she had to let him do his job. Dropping her head down slightly, she let her ever unseeing gaze fall upon her hands resting in her lap, hesitating for only a few moments before eventually, she nodded her head lightly up and down, letting him know that she was ready to co-operate and let him do what it was he had to do, especially if it meant that he was going to take her to be with Gage.

Slipping back down the bed, Syleste closed her eyes, her body slowly relaxing as she laid back against pillows, her head turning off to the side as though she didn’t want to see what it was he was doing to her, though she could feel it… the poking, the prodding… the needle slipping into her skin- and that was when she heard it; the scream… his scream; Gage… and her heart sank almost to her stomach causing her to shoot back up into a sitting position, her hair flying forward and over her shoulders with the action as her voice once more rang out through the hospital.

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: Anyone at SLMC

"Sebbie, let me help."

Cassie's soothing voice rang out over the din of screaming teenagers, commanding doctors, and beeping machines. Before Sebastian could say anything, she was under his arm and helping him stand properly, assisting him in walking with a worried look on her face.

"Cassie! You're okay!" Sebastian's voice nearly broke as he felt a surge of relief wash over him. Had he possessed the strength, he would have embraced her in a rib-crushing hug, however with one arm inert and the other being used to help support him, he let the idea pass. The two slowly made their way into the room where he could hear two other voices, both of them male; one sounded like Cody, but Sebastian couldn't make out the other voice. It was too faint, and the loud clamor of the hospital drowned out any hope of determining its owner.

"Cass, have you seen anyone else? Are they okay? What about you? Are you hurt?" In the back of his mind, Sebastian knew that he turning process had already started, mending the wounds the group had sustained, however logic was drowned out by his concern for his friends. Sebastian took a moment to look Cassie over, glancing at the dried blood crusting on her clothing, noting that there was a very small amount.

Before Cassie could have any chance to reply, a scream rang out from the end of the hall, eliciting a gut-wrenching pang of concern from Sebastian.
“Gage..!”

Syleste's voice rang out above the din, resounding across the floor with a level of intensity that rivaled Sebastian's voice. The Siren whipped his head up to see medical personnel rushing down the hall towards the screaming. "Has anyone seen Gage?!"

Panic crept into his voice as he thought about the pain he must be enduring. Knowing that he would live and heal was no comfort to Sebastian; he could only think of the pain he must be enduring. A stray orderly bumped into Sebastian, pushing him and Cassie into the room where Cody and another boy lay, both of them blood and injured, however Cody seemed to be standing with no issues. Relief swept through Sebastian as he slowly counted up his friends and their conditions. Cassie seemed to be fine, Cody was standing with relative ease, Aron was lying in bed, down but alert. Syleste was unaccounted for, however she was at least awake and alive, able to call out for her boyfriend. Gage was obviously in pain, but Sebastian was uncertain how much. I just hope he heals enough before he dies... Kaylee was absent. Where were the others?

Alexis Farreacher

Location: Cedar Ash Inn
Interacting with: Callie Lenson@Caits

Alexis’ eyes were closed as she tried to sense with the magic tendrils. Yet strangely her magic was denied and repelled. As if some invisible force kept them away from the very walls. The young witch pushed against whatever barrier was erected until suddenly she did sense something. Something light and… amber.

"Greetings, young one"

Alexis her eyes shot open, surprised someone talked to her in such a gentle and warm tone so late. She looked up, seeing Callie. The woman who managed the Inn and shop. Did she see Alexis outside? Probably. In reaction, Alexis wanted to slam her book close to not look like a freak. But the minerals laid all over the pages would fly everywhere. She’d put too much work on them to just let them go flying. However, the must have sensed Callie approaching as well. The pages had shifted from full visible ink illuminated by the street lights to a blank page.

"The night is cold, would you like to come in for a hot drink? You can stay the night if you wish, Alexis"

She knew her name… nobody ever knew her name. Recently she only got called Wicca. A particularly nasty nickname. It was only when Callie mentioned the cold night that Alexis realized that it was indeed cold outside and that she was shivering pretty badly. Still carefully picking up the minerals and putting them in a special pouch she said: “I’d love to. Thank you.” Then Callie summoned the glowing orb of light. Alexis, the witch girl that never ever saw someone else perform magic, looked with her mouth wide open as Callie summoned the orb.

"I do have something to talk with you about, little witch"

Alexis dropped the pouch in her bag, together with the book but kept her eyes locked in amazement at Callie. She could barely believe it. Someone else like her and to think she visited the shop so often! For a moment a myriad of questions poured through her brain: who was she? Who taught her? How did she practice magic without minerals that stored her energy? Did she know her grandmother? Did she know about her? Does she know of the Grimoire? The little warlock was not entirely confident she could answer any of Callie’s questions. Whatever she learned of magic, she learned from the Grimoire, and she long suspected parts were missing or it withheld certain truths.

Dutifully she walked towards the Inn but kept switching her gaze from the orb to Callie to the Inn and back to the orb again. For a moment she wanted to reach out towards the glowing entity. Just to hold it like she held her dream wisp. But then she realized it might be rude to just take someone else’s magic. So she pulled her arm back. Other questions kept raging through her. Should she sleep there? She didn’t really have any money on hand but maybe she could pay Callie back? But what would her dad say!?

“I –euhm- The spell broke when I opened my eyes.” The warlock girl suddenly remembered to answer Callie’s statement. Right then she also realized that just making those magic tendrils try to enter her home wasn’t a very polite thing either. “Can… can I ask you some questions?” Alexis asked sheepishly as she took up at the witch while taking a seat. Would Callie actually entertain her with some answers? That was also when her thoughts took a bit of a darker turn. What if Callie knew she had no more magic to spend? The wisp was gone and so was all her magic in her minerals. She was practically defenseless, especially as she left her knife at home. But no, that was paranoid thinking… was it?

Quinton

"And this is just the beginning...how bad is it going to get?"

Coming in just as Magnus-he thought that was the Druids name, was once more intruding where he wasn't needed, causing more of a fuss, Quinton sighed wearily, pointing towards a room where one of the teens was helping another. "Go in there, you two. Stay, we'll be along in a moment" One might think that Quinton was over stepping his bounds, but his command was more father-like then anything else, as if he was simply directing Abigale, and not two teens that could shift into were-creatures. It was brought on due to weariness, and the simple need to bring some control to the otherwise chaotic situation.

Slightly annoyed however, Quinton reached out to stop Magnus from leaving, saying in a low voice "You manipulate humans without a thought. WHat if they have a reaction to whatever you just did? You could cause more damn trouble. You offer advice, and guideance as an emmerasy, Druid, but if you were really Zoé's Emmerasy, then you would show the respect Zoé deserves" Not waiting to see how Magnus took that, Quinton said "I'll get the one in surgery. Six of them are, or should be, in the same room. Three more, I think, to go" Again, not waiting, wishing to help as much as he could. Besides, the screaming was bound to draw more people.

Quinton's previous pack hadn't had a Druid, but he had come across packs that did. They were suppose to be something akin to guidenace counsellors, only with a bit more kick in the power department. Magnus, to Quinton, just seemed both rude, obnoxious and just down right disrespectful. He sighed, and without cause, he entered the surgical area, eyes landing on the still healing boy. Shifting, he let his posture relax, become slightly warm. No point putting the boy on edge. His gaze roamed over Gage, noting that some of the wounds the boy had were older, sestained earlier, not from the wolf attack. A sports injury? Or something else? He approached the boy, walking with purpose amoung the staff, he leaned over Gage, laying a hand on the boys shoulder, saying softly "Stay calm, okay? We're going to tell you what happened. I'm going to take you to the others, to...to your brother, right?" With ease, Quinton took the breaks off the surgical bed, beginning to push Gage out, towards the others. "I'm sorry this happened to you, but your friends are all okay.".

Hoping that they wouldn't get caught out, Quinton knew he was the last thing from what a doctor or nurse looked like, in a simple shirt and jeans, he could perhaps tell anyone who sought to stop him that he had come in when he heard about the attacks, figuring the staff would need all the help they could get. A bad lie, but it was all he had.

Cassandra

"Where are the rest of them? Do I have to kick butt to find them?"

It was with relief that Cassandra saw that both Cody and Aron appeared to be alright. Battered, like they all were, but alright. In fact, Sebastian seemed to be the worse injured. Helping him to the bed that she assumed Cody had vacated, she fussed about a moment ensuring that he was okay, and wasn't about to pass out, automatically wrapping the blanket about Sebastian's shoulders, knowing warmth was a big thing. She was careful of her own hand, before she turned to Cody and Aron. "I'm okay. Just a little beat up, like everyone it seems. My dad didn't say that anyone was dead...and the nurses said that everyone was going to be okay...so It seems we're going to be fine...my Dad's going to get Syleste, that woman, Zoé, she wants to talk with us..."

She rolled her shoulders, leaning against the bed herself. She smiled, Cody and Aron were just so cute together...she wished she could say she had a hand in getting them together, but that was all them, in all their adorable grandore. holding hands, both injured, but seeking comfort from each other. At Aron's concern, at the scream, which from Aron's reaction was Gage. She looked to the door with concern, wanting to go find Gage, and no doubt Syleste...oh, god, what if that scream had been Gage reacting to something bad happening to Syleste?

She looked to the door, watching, waiting and trying to will the appearance of the rest of her friends. Kaylee...if Kaylee was hurt, it was Cassie's fault. SHe had invited the girl along...sick to her stomach, Cassie slid herself onto the bed beside Sebastian, wrapping her arms about herself, still watching the door, part of her hoping to see her father come in, and take her away, tell her it was all a dream...the other part thought she was just being childish. Yet she wanted her father. She wanted her friends, to know that they were okay. She wanted that safety, and security, of being with people she cared about.

She drew in a deep breath, and let it out slowly, looking over the three boys in the room with her, gently poking her injured hand, frowning at the lack of pain. Something was going on here, something strange...well, stranger then being attacked by a wolf. She looked to Aron and Cody again, then back to the door. If someone didn't come soon, she was going to go out and hunt down the rest of her friends herself, and she very nearly did so when she heard Syleste's cry, leaping off the bed and walking a little woobly towards the door.

Callie

"I remember being that age, still confussed...I might never have children, so this is the next best thing"

A little amused at the young girls interest in her orb, Callie guided the light ball towards Alexis, even as she shut the door behind the girl, glancing up to the stairs at the sounds of a terrified meow, the scrabbling of claws and a bark, followed by a little girls joyful screams. With an apologietic look at Alexis, she left the orb with the girl, going to rescue her kitten, and nudge girl and dog back to bed. "Ah, Tigre. I'm sorry" She said softly to the ball of orange fluff in the crook of her arm as she came, sitting across from Alexis, and settling the kitten in her lap, sending her into estatics as she tickled the soft, white belly.

She studied Alexis a moment, giving her another kind smile. It must be quite strange, to find herself in this situation. "I'm sorry, a friends daughter is staying with me tonight. She just got her first puppy, and is understandably excited. I thought Tigre would be alright, yet she is still learning her own boundaries" The young kitten settled herself in Callie's lap, and Callie leaned back, watching Alexis. "You need not worry about me, Alexis. I am a White Witch, I do not harm people, especially not an innocent child. You can relax, my Inn is perhaps the safest place you can find in this area" She rose, and unceromoniously placed the kitten in Alexis's lap, retreating for the moment to the kitchen, where she took a moment to make them each a hot chocolate, soon returning and offering a mug to Alexis.

Returning to her seat, Callie was silent another moment, before giving a slight nod. "Feel free to ask all you wish, Alexis. I will do my best to answer them" She settled back, a mug of hot chocolate warming her hands as she brought it to her lips, watching Alexis. "The light is a ley line charm. I'm not particularly proficient in Ley Lines, but this is a simple charm. If you have any talent in ley lines, I can teach it to you" She said brightly, actually looking forward to maybe having a student to teach.

Xerxes Arvanitis

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center.
Interacting With: Syleste Vos (@Vicier)

“Gage..!”

Xerxes winced as the Siren's scream rang out throughout the hospital. His heightened hearing made the cry almost unbearable, and for a moment his vision became somewhat clouded with black spots. A twisting knot formed in his stomach, making him think that for a moment, he might just lose that right Twix stick he managed to eat before all of this had happened - his lunch. But his reaction was more to the fact that he didn't need any other doctor rushing in to help him with a screaming girl. Gods... if they only knew... He had this under control. He had to. He was one of the only ones in the hospital that knew of the Supernatural world - hell he was a part of it.

Instinctively, Xerxes pressed a calm hand to her chest, willing for her to relax while his opposite hand remained firm in finishing off the Penicillin injection. He had worked on so many squirming toddlers, and hell - even grown men - to have enough of a practiced hand for her sudden movement to not affect the application.

"Syleste... please. You have my word, Gage is fine. He's in a lot of pain right now, but he's... healing... quite quickly, actually..." He wasn't sure how much he was allowed to say. Not even a Werewolf himself, he didn't dare cross that line with Klamath Falls' Alpha. Though it was clear already that Syleste took no part in the Werewolf curse from the bite. For a moment, that perplexed him. He looked Syleste over from the tops of his glasses, mulling over the point. If everyone else was healing quickly, there was a reason she wasn't.

That smell...

He always thought it was just a part of her - well in a way it was. But it wasn't until that very moment that he was able to determine what it was, combined with the recollection of what her scream had done to him.

She was a Siren. Though whether or not she knew it was beyond him. Unfortunately, however, that was not his place to be the one to tell her.

Closing his eyes for a moment, his hand still on her chest in an effort to get her to relax back down, Xerxes took a breath before pooling into his magic, calling upon his ability of empathy to further relax the blind girl. He hated using emotional control on others, however he found as a doctor, it came in handy a great number of times and even perhaps saved lives of those who just couldn't sit still.

Once she relaxed and laid back down for him, Xerxes pulled the needle from her arm and taped a cotton ball to where he had punctured her skin. Going over just a few more things, such as her temperature and blood pressure, he finally felt okay enough to move her for a few moments. However, he already knew that she was going to have to remain in the hospital for a day or two... unlike most of the other teens that had been brought in... and his daughter...

Oh Cassie...

"Alright, you're clear for now. Let's get you to Gage but I want you to take it easy, alright? Those cuts are going to need stitches and I don't need your excitement making your injuries worse." Xerxes paused for a moment, thinking. Just how was he going to get her into the room where Zoe wanted them all? He could call for a wheel chair, but Gods knew where any of them were in this damn place. It could take hours to locate one...

"Actually, I don't want you walking right now. I'm going to carry you, okay? At least until I can get those wounds closed up properly."

Hesitating for a moment, Xerxes removed his rubber gloves and after a soft nod of her understanding and approval, he bent over the hospital bed, scooping her up from it and held her to his chest in a strong, safe hold. He let up on the emotional control a bit - like reducing the dosage of a medical sedative. Though he would wait until she and Gage were in the same room before he lifted it completely.

"Just relax. I've got you. You're safe here. Everyone is safe." he consoled her softly, carrying her out of the room and into the specified one the rest of the teenagers were to gather in..

Connor

"How many times can a life change, in one night?"

@Vicier

Kaylee. He clasped the name in his mind like it was a life line, a perserve saving him from drowning. Curling his fingers around hers, feeling like he was anchoring himself as he did so. Kaylee. He wasn;t going to let her out of his sights, at least not tonight. He didn't think he could stand that, not after everything, not after finally finding her, holding her, kissing her. To say goodbye...to let her go...simply wasn't going to happen. It would hurt too much...but he wasn't foolish. He knew she'd have to go home, to her family, but maybe...maybe....maybe she'd stay with him, if he could a place? He very well couldn't stay camped out in the woods, and it seemed that he finally had some roots to plant. With Kaylee.

As the man told them to hop to it, to come and meet the others, and perhaps get some answers, Connor looked to Kaylee, simply trying to take in everything about her. From her eyes, to the very fact that she was wearing a too large for her jacket, no doubt because she had changed her shape too...oh. Flustered a moment, Connor looked away, hoping to god no one could tell where his thoughts had led, however briefly. It seemed foolish to be flustered over such, given everything, yet he was. He tried to compose himself, even as Quinton spoke about telling their families.

Connor didn't have any. With his mother long dead, and his father killed in the attack that had changed Connor, he hadn't had any younger siblings, let alone any aunts or uncles. His grandparents were long dead as well. Suddenly remembering the pink haired girl, remembering her saying her last name, Connor stopped, more then likely pulling Kaylee to a stop as well, as he refused to let go of her hand. Maybe he did have some long lost family out there...he glanced to the man, hesitating. It didn't seem like a wise decision to disobey, but he needed to know the answer...He almost stumbled as he started to walk again, seeing a doctor carrying the pink haired girl, Connor let his gaze follow them, in the direction they apparently needed to go, the man leaving them to approach a small group of adults.

Glancing to Kaylee, he saw her expression and wondered just who she was worried about calling. Were her parents strict? He hesitated, "Is everything okay, Kaylee?" He asked softly, for the moment his own mini dilema forgotten in the face of what was worrying her.
